This is a powerful week! Mercury is retrograde, and the full Moon on Wednesday brings with it a full lunar eclipse. We enter a delicate two week period between lunar and solar eclipses at this time. Take this into consideration with your actions and intentions. We are working with shadow and illusions in this gap of time. Dance with them intentionally and may you lift the veil of illusion in some new way!
Monday, October 6th Today’s Intention: Take one step at a time. Take each step with intention. Keep your commitment to grounding, while finding your balance. But keep moving. Moon moves to Purvabhadrapada nakshatra at 03:12 am CDT, inviting in Ajaikapada and another level of Jupiter into our day. Moon is receiving drishti from Mars while it transits Aquarius, which offers charge, action and increased fire. Purvabhadrapada is connected to tapas and penance. Ajaikapada is a form of Shiva, lord of the dance, and reminds us of our human capabilities- balancing struggles, challenges and obstacles as we move forward in life. Pada means foot. It is essential to remember slow, simple steps again today. As Ajaikapada dances, he balances, one foot raised, and one foot firmly grounded. There is a certain purpose, a direct gaze (drishti) and a strong commitment that one must have to keep this sense of balance and grounding simultaneously. These are your reminders for today. Slow, steady steps, using great commitment and purpose as you move. Intention will be a poignant reminder as well. Since Ajaikapada is a Rudra, there is immense strength available here. At what costs are you willing to move forward? Lighten your load, it will make it easier to dance through life. Moon moves to Pisces at 19:25 CDT, joining Ketu there. Moon receives drishti from debilitated Venus, Sun and also Rahu, as well as Jupiter from nine houses away. This will intensify our experience over the next few days leading into the full Moon. More on this in my upcoming Moon Mind Calendar and Full Moon Wisdom article. Tuesday October, 7th Today's Intention: The desire to change ourselves and our lives, requires that we dig deeply down into our depths. Moon transits Pisces with Ketu there as well. Moon and Ketu both receive ample gaze from debilitated Venus, Sun and also Rahu, as well as Jupiter from nine houses away. This will intensify our experience over the next few days leading into the full Moon tomorrow. Just after midnight, Moon jumps into Uttarabhadrapada at 00:51 am CDT. This nakshatra is the latter half of the bhadrapada constellation which symbolizes the front half and back half of a funeral cot; death, transformation and letting go are the focus here. Uttarabhadrapada is ruled by Ahirbudhnya, the serpent of the deep. He is a naga serpent connected to wisdom (not a sarpa serpent connected to illusions) which indicates his immense and vast knowledge- knowledge and wisdom that must be excavated deeply for. He is connected to our subconscious mind, the pieces of our being that are ruling us, but that we must work hard to uncover and transform. He is a serpent, but a serpent we can work with, learn and grow from. The back legs of a funeral cot symbolize that Uttarabhadrapada is helping us liberate, let go of and let the pieces of our story move, change and release. Yesterday we began a very intentional dance- moving us towards the full Moon lunar eclipse and waning Moon cycle. Today, let that dance transform into a very intentional release. What shadows and demons are you ready to release, transform and let go of? The Moon is already in the 15th tithi, the final phase of its waxing phase. Our cups are full and overflowing. It's time to release and let go. Do this with poignancy, intention and commitment as we embark on this final eclipse cycle of the year. Moon moves to Revati nakshatra at 22:38 CDT, nearing exact conjunction with Ketu. Wednesday, October 8th Today's Intention: Total eclipse of the heart. Soften and release, but courageously look at your shadows. Moon will be completely full at 05:49 am CDT while in Pisces and Revati nakshatra. Simultaneously, there will be a lunar eclipse occurring. The eclipse begins at 03:17 am CDT and continues until 08:32 am CDT. The maximum part of the eclipse will be at 05:55 am CDT. Moon in Revati nakshatra at the time of the eclipse in Pisces furthers the symbol of release, endings and letting go while strengthening themes of its ruling planet Mercury. Pushan, the ruling deity of Revati, insures our safe passage and travels, and requests simplicity and purity. He is a protector and helps us find our way back to the path when we are lost. He also can help us retrieve lost or stolen items. This is a special waning Moon cycle that offers us many returns, on multiple levels. Be willing and open to receive messages that will help you strengthen your path, return to and restore your sense of well being, hope and possibility. Be open to comfort and nourishment and reminders that life doesn't have to be hard and forced- it can be lighter and more gentle. This requires us to clear away rubble, debris and anything blocking our path, so vital clearing is truly essential during this eclipse cycle. For full details on the eclipse and the coming waning Moon cycle read my Full Moon Wisdom article. Moon jumps into Aries at 20:44 CDT and into Ashwini nakshatra. Thursday, October 9th Today's Intention: Don't get led by your senses. Reign in your horses. As Moon transits Aries in Ashwini nakshatra, our two week eclipse cycle begins with the Ashwini-Kumara twins leading us towards healing and revitalization. Moon also receives drishti (gaze) directly from exalted Saturn and retrograde Mercury. The Ashwini twins enliven the healing arts and beckon us to rejuvenate through healing modalities such as rasayana treatments and using the creative arts to spark change and vitality within us. Ayurveda is their domain and strength comes as a gift of their healing, symbolized here by a horse. The Ayurvedic strengthening herb, Ashwagandha, is connected to the horse and the root word ashva. Today, make sure self care is a top priority. The two weeks between lunar and solar eclipse, and also the gap between summer and winter (fall), is a delicate time for health and well being. It's a sandhi time, so treat yourself with extra TLC. Start your fall cleanse today if you haven't already. I'm unveiling my new Swati Jr Jewelry collection today. The new Cosmic Collection is inspired by our dance with the Sun, Moon and Stars. Have you joined my FB event? I'll be giving gifts, incentives, discounts and more! Join the trunk show event and get in on the goodies! Moon moves to Bharani nakshatra at 19:16 CDT. Friday, October 10th Today's Intention: Strength and sensitivity go hand in hand. Your vulnerability is your power. Moon transits Bharani nakshatra, ruled by Yama and Venus. Yama brings restraint and is considered the king of dharma, because he determines your karmas at the time of your death. It is through the self control and restraint he provokes that can keep us out of suffering and sin, our own misery. This is a harsh and aggressive nakshatra, one that is ideal for butchering and killing as well as arguments and attacks. The irony is that it is also an extremely sensitive star as seen through its symbol, the yoni. Strength and sensitivity are the perfect pair. Our shadows, our weaknesses, are indeed our greatest gifts. It takes much courage, strength and power to overcome (to kill) our shadows and illusions. Make your actions count and firmly restrain yourself from being led my your asuras (demons). Purify yourself, but always strive for balance. Sun moves to Chitra nakshatra at 13:41 CDT, joining retrograde Mercury and Rahu in this nakshatra. Ruled by Vishvakarma, this is a nakshatra of action, plans and taking powerful, creative steps. The coming weeks are a time to get powerful and poignant, though as Sun nears Rahu, imbalances in our sense of poignancy may be problematic. If there's hesitancy, confusion or lack of clear direction, these are your shadows at play. If you're pushing too hard and forcing outcomes, you are not aligned with the times. Be bold and passionate with your desires, but make sure you are listening to your emotional body wisdom, your intuition, for guidance. Set goals and priorities and get organized! Get creative as the celestial architect Vishvakarma is here to help you rise and shine! Take some solid action steps towards your visions. This alone might clear the fog. Be diligent with your 3 level check in so you don't mix messages of head and heart. Moon moves to Krittika nakshatra at 18:22 CDT. Saturday, October 11th Today's Intention: In order to gain, we must be prepared to lose something. Moon jumps into its degrees of exaltation and into Taurus just minutes after midnight- at 00:14 am CDT. Exaltation only lasts until 05:34 am CDT, but the Moon will still be in its mulitrikona sign where it can maximize its effects at 75%. With Rahu's drishti on the Moon, watch for big rises and falls. Mars also give his direct gaze, making for a piercing and powerful emotional body. Our Moon tides will be high and low; be mindful of extremes and be diligent with emotional body awareness. Do a 3 level check in so you don't mix messages of head and heart. Moon transits Krittika nakshatra at this time and Agni as well as the Sun share their fire with us. Agni is the fire of life and is a powerful transformational part of our beings. We have many different types of Agni within us. We have much to digest: food, emotions, environments, relationships. Agni helps us burn, clarify and purify all of this in order to help us assimilate the nourishment of life. He brings purification, but he cuts and discards in the process. Within any transformation, there is letting go and loss. Krittika is considered a mixed nakshatra; it is both soft and hard. Though we gain nourishment through Agni, we also have to discard what is unnecessary, not useful for us. Consider this a day of the pruning and purifying process. Moon moves to Rohini at 18:08 CDT. Sunday, October 12th Today's Intention: Merge with your abundant creative flow. Go ahead and get lost in it today. Moon transits Rohini nakshatra and Lord Brahma, as well as the creativity of the Moon, are invited into our day. Moon is still in Taurus, its mulitrikona sign (a strong place for the Moon) while receiving drishti from both Rahu and Mars. Our Moon tides will be high and low; be mindful of extremes and be aware of your emotional body awareness. Be diligent with your 3 level check in so you don't mix messages of head and heart. Rohini is arguably the most creative nakshatra as indicated by its ruler Brahma; he created the universe from his navel after all! It's in this vein, we can create, materialize, and align with our true power as mini gods and goddesses in this life time. Our creativity is in fact our one constant gift- offering possibility and our ability to recreate ourselves and our lives over and over again. Without resiliency and reinventing ourselves, life would be stagnant, without growth, change or abundance. Rohini reminds us to welcome in the flow of creativity, the shakti of life, and to rejoice in the material aspects of life now and again. They are a part of this lila, the play of life, after all. Give thanks for for what flows towards you and through you, and let it continue to flow out into the world. Be that gift. Moon moves to Mrigashirsha nakshatra at 18:38 CDT. Monday, October 13th Today's Intention: Nourish from the inside out. Beauty begins within. Moon transits Mirgashisha nakshatra and Soma (another name for Chandra, the Moon) and also Mars are activated. Nourishment from the divine nectar of Soma is life giving. It lubricates the inner channels of our body and keeps us alive and youthful. Soma is lunar energy, but can be cultivated through the right foods and lifestyle practices. Vaidya Rama Kant Mishra speaks readily about "somagenic" qualities in order to enhance our well being. His lineage, the Shaka Vansya Ayurvedic tradition is a wealth of knowledge for increasing Soma within our bodies, mind and emotions. If you are a Moon child like me, and extra sensitive, you will want to educate yourself on this vital health science. The Moon is a creative and charismatic planet. It's sociable and loves to adorn and be adorned. Moon loves beauty, comfort and nourishment. That is why it is connected to Soma. Build soma within you today with self care, creativity and inviting in the Moon; fill your cup of resiliency. Need some extra guidance and clarity? Schedule a session with me. Moon is waning and empties this week. New Moon is on Wednesday early morning at 01:14 am CDT signifying the beginning of the fall Navaratri celebrations. This nine day festival honors the holy goddess trinity of Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati. The festivities culminate on the 10th day (Vijayadashami) which honors Durga's defeat of the demon Mahishasura. The sacredness of this time period is explained more in my Navaratri article. You’re invited to participate in my 10 day Self Care Challenge as a way to honor this important passage into fall and winter. Join the FB Group here.
Monday, September 22nd Today’s Intention: Find nourishment in relating and co-creating. Moon transits Leo and moves into Purvaphalguni nakshatra at 01:47 am CDT. This enlivens Venus and Bhaga, the deity of love, relationship and creativity. Bhaga is an Aditya, one of the twelve gods who provide us with resources for this life experience. He dispenses wealth and happiness, luck and fortune, as well as blessings from our past incarnations. He presides over love and marriage and is associated with pleasure, sensuality and sexuality, thus relationships are his domain- mainly the spark of new and budding relationships. Today, create, connect and share. Work consciously on relating and co-creating. How can your relationships provide a sense of nourishment and support? Which ones soothe and support? Which ones feel toxic? Pay attention to your senses and what arrives through your interactions. Venus moves into the latter half of Phalguni, Uttara, at 04:58 am CDT. Shift into a role of connection and sharing over the next 10 days. Create, express, share and connect. Create and co-create and let your relationships be part of your expansion. Let your love shine! Not feeling it? What relationships need to be pruned and removed from your life in order to create more space for the more nourishing and supportive ones? What shifts and changes need to take place within your existing relationships in order for more nourishment? Take charge of your comfort and what supports and nourishes you. This is an ideal time to be conscious of your self care needs. As we move into the beginning of Navaratri on Wednesday, now is an essential time to be intentional with our needs. Be sure to join my 10 day Self Care Challenge via FB. Tuesday, September 23rd Today’s Intention: Get your shine on! From the inside out. Today is Fall Equinox for the Northern Hemisphere. It is also Mahalaya Amavasya (Pitri Paksha), the sacred celebration of honoring the ancestors who have passed and are no longer with us. Be sure to commemorate your loved ones who have passed by lighting a candle and saying a prayer in their honor, as well as through gratitude for their many gifts to you. Moon moves to Uttaraphalguni at 04:32 am CDT, joining Venus and Sun in this nakshatra as well. We get three levels of support from Aryaman today. He is also one of the twelve Adityas like Bhaga who rules the front half of Phalguni. Like Bhaga, Aryaman gives resources, but does so through sustenance- mainly health of the body and physical stamina and strength as a result. Additionally, he also nourishes through relationships, but does so in the ways that last. Not through sensuality and sexuality, but through time, perseverance and pleasing the ancestors. As Bhaga relates to the past and past karmas, Aryaman relates to the future and what is to come; as a result he is mostly concerned with long term outcomes and situations. Moon moves to Virgo at 11:10 am CDT, joining Sun and Rahu here. These planets receive drishti from Ketu seven houses away. Be precise with your actions and relations today. Step carefully, but get noticed. Share, connect and create through relationships today. Shine brightly- inside out! Feeling shadowed or extra inward? Moon is in the 15th tithe (Moon phase) today. It’s a time to be self reflective and tend to your inner needs. Plant your seeds of desire and make your intentions known. As we move into the beginning of Navaratri tomorrow, now is an essential time to be intentional. Be sure to join my 10 day Self Care Challenge via FB. Venus is sandhi, at the edge of Leo right now. Be delicate with your relationships- both your relationship with others and with your self. Wednesday, September 24th Today’s Intention: Take an intentional pause and mark it with poignancy. Moon nears conjunction of the Sun as it becomes completely new in the wee hours of the morning. New Moon is at 01:14 am CDT in Uttaraphalguni nakshatra while Moon is in Virgo. The details of yesterday are pertinent for our coming waxing Moon cycle. The coming weeks are potent- and a poignant time for working with our long term sustainability. What steps do we need to take in order to insure sustainability and more lasting support and nourishment? What fruits are we hoping to harvest in the coming weeks and months? Our intentional action steps right now make or break the richness of our harvest. Aryaman is alive and well within us and around us- encouraging health, well being, as well as inner and outer sustenance- if we align with his offerings. Connect, co-create and use relationships intentionally in the coming weeks. Do your relationships nourish and inspire you? Or do they zap you and harm you? If you want potency and power, it will take potent and powerful actions to get different results. Sow the seeds you want right now and ask the ancestors for help with the process. Aryaman is aligned with the ancestors to insure that your lineage is well nourished and protected so make sure you ask for dharmic wisdom to help you on your journey, with choices and your action steps. Think in terms of aligning with long-term sustainability, not short term gratification. Aryaman will provide for you. Trust the process and ask for support. In addition to the New Moon, this marks the beginning of the Navaratri celebrations and the first day of three that honors Ma Durga. This is an especially potent and powerful time period, where we celebrate in the Vedic calendar, the holy trinity of goddesses: Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati. The veil is thin right now between realms, and is an especially powerful time for being inward, cleansing, nourishing and meditating. If you haven’t joined my 10 day Self Care Challenge, you can do so here. Moon moves to Hasta nakshatra at 06:59 am CDT, activating Savitr and his shining light into our day. You may awaken with sparks today and find some new purpose for your actions. Allow a glimpse of awakening to inspire you through intelligence, ideas, new awareness and gratitude. Flourish through wisdom and knowledge and take time for pausing, listening and invoking your inner light with the Gayatri Mantra today. Since the Moon is passing through the middle of Sun and Rahu today, a sense of shadow can creep in as well. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, uncertain or overstimulated, be sure to use a 3 level check in for getting in touch with your felt senses. Use this inner harvesting process to get creative. Write, draw, express through your hands. Your Self Care Journal might just be the trick. Have you signed up for my 10 Day Self Care Challenge yet? Venus is sandhi, at the edge of Leo right now and hops into Virgo, its sign of debilitation at 21:14 CDT. During this 23 day transit, be delicate with your relationships- both your relationship with others and with your self. This transit re-iterates my new Moon details for the coming waxing cycle and our attention/intention to relationships of all kinds in our lives. What needs our focus in the coming weeks in regard to self care and putting our needs first? What details within your relationships needs extra TLC? How can you improve your inner nourishment and self care focus? What boundaries need to be re-established in order for your needs to get met? What re-structuring needs to take place within your relationships- personal and professional- in order for greater clarity and purpose? This is a time of getting present to your individual needs and what nourishes you. It is not a time to be using up your energy frivolously; though you may be noticing leaks more clearly at this time. Right now it’s all about the details. Let this be a resource for getting priorities and business in order. If it becomes unhelpful, then zoom out and get a bigger picture. Take a break or time out to re-center. This doesn’t have to be a time of discomfort and overwhelm; just get resource oriented. Need a reminder about self care? Be sure you follow along with my 10 day self care challenge and work intimately with your self care journal right now. Thursday, September 25th Today’s Intention: Step wisely and with purpose. Navaratri Day 2 and second day of the Durga celebrations. Have you joined my Navaratri 10 Day Self Care Challenge yet? Moon moves into Chitra nakshatra at 09:07 am CDT, joining Rahu here as well. Virgo is a full house right now with Moon, Sun, Rahu and Venus there now. Be aware that highs and lows may feel extreme- emotionally, mentally and physically. It is important to take care of health and wellness on all three levels of your being. Vishvakarma, the celestial architect, as well as Mars, play an important role in our experience today. He is a worker, the divine architect, and very product oriented. His extreme creativity, as well as action orientation (karma is a part of his name) reminds us to take potent action steps to align with our creative powers. What are you building in your life? For your life? Attend to your inner and outer needs today. As Moon passes over Rahu, don’t get lost in the mire of details and self critic. Instead, get action oriented. Take a step in the right direction today and focus on what is doable. Moon moves to Libra at 22:02 CDT, joining Mercury and exalted Saturn there. Need a reminder about self care? Be sure you follow along with my 10 day self care challenge and work intimately with your self care journal right now. Friday, September 26th Today’s Intention: Adjust your sails with intention and harness the power of the wind. Navaratri Day 3 and final day of the Durga celebrations. Have you joined my Navaratri 10 Day Self Care Challenge yet? Moon transits Libra with Mercury, and exalted Saturn, then moves into Swati nakshatra at 10:51 CDT. Both Vayu and Rahu enliven and the winds- both inner and outer- bring shifts and changes with them. The mental and emotional bodies may be in overdrive. Feeling overstimulated, excessively anxious? Not only is attention to your prana important today for calming the inner winds, but also attending to the messages of the mental and emotional bodies. Separating these two will bring greater clarity to their different messages and likely bring more awareness to what you need. Be sure to sign up for my online 3 Levels of Awareness Immersion in order to learn how to incorporate this technique into your self care practices. Saturday, September 27th Today’s Intention: Balance creates harmony. Navaratri Day 4 and the first day of the three day Lakshmi celebrations. Have you joined my Navaratri 10 Day Self Care Challenge yet? Sun jumps into Hasta nakshatra at 00:37 am CDT, offering greater insight and wisdom to us in the coming days. Tend to this flicker of light, the inner flame. Nurture it, nourish it and honor it with gentleness. Attend to this small flame with intention and recite Gayatri Mantra in the coming days as a way to cultivate your inner light and spark magic. Attend to your sensitivity with gentleness and compassion. Moon moves to Vishaka nakshatra at 12:10 CDT, enlivening Jupiter and Indragni- the dual god who attends to our sense of nourishment through alliance. Yet another opportunity to give presence to what, and who, we are aligned with in our lives. Indra and Agni remind us that two are often better than one- as long as they work in harmony and are aligned properly. Feeling pulled in too many directions? Overwhelm settling in today? Balance is key. Clear off your plate and prioritize. What are the essentials? Where are your self care needs on this list? Put your self first and then let the other pieces fall in place more naturally. Make sure physical movement is incorporated into your day. Get embodied! Sunday, September 28th Today's Intention: Zoom in and zoom out. Harmonize polarities. Navaratri Day 5 and the second day of the Lakshmi celebrations. Have you joined my Navaratri 10 Day Self Care Challenge yet? Moon has crossed over Saturn now and moves to the edge of Libra, jumping into its debilitation sign, Scorpio, at 06:51 am CDT. Moon joins Mars in Scorpio and our internal waters get charged. Expect an extra layer of sensitivity today and emotional body awareness. At 13:01 CDT, Moon moves into Anuradha nakshatra and Mitra provides increased awareness of fine detail, friendship and connection, as well as travel and adventure. Get into the details, but don't get lost in them! Feeling agitated or angered? Look for the underlying need and find solutions. My 3 Levels of Awareness Immersion is today! Plan your week in tune with nature. Never miss a planetary update. Sign up for my weekly newsletter. Was this post helpful? Please share it with a friend! Thank you. Monday, September 8th Today's Intention: Connect with your inner waters- now full and expanded. Attend to your swelling tides and nourish your self through right action. Listen to your emotional body wisdom. Moon transits Aquarius and Satabisha nakshatra. Here in Aquarius, Moon receives drishti (gaze) from Venus and Sun in Leo and also from Mars in Scorpio. Ruled by Varuna, the guardian of universal law, Satabisha is connected to unseen (invisible) obstacles and punishment of wrongs. It is through Rahu that these "wrongs" are found. Aquarius however is ruled by Saturn and Rahu so there is a dualism here. And though Varuna is considered an Aditya (one who provides sustenance and support), he does so in a very Saturn-like way which may feel harsh at times. Today, follow the rules of Saturn and attend to your health and wellness. Let the waters within you flow and align with the Laws of Nature. Keep things simple, attend to self care and be mindful of your health. If you are feeling overwhelmed, do a three level check in and try to attend to your underlying needs for support, comfort and nourishment. Moon moves to Purvabhadrapada nakshatra at 17:02 CDT. Full Moon is in Aquarius and Purvabhadrapada nakshatra on September 8th at 20:38 CDT. The feeling you receive from the Moon may be both depth and pressure as well as increased creativity, curiosity and innovation at this time. Aquarius is ruled by Saturn and Rahu which can bring a dualism, a push and pull, as well as polarities. This full Moon brings with it both a desire and a need to attend to our shadows, our haunts and our illusions. The coming waning cycle will be just that- an opportunity for us to face our demons and our challenges with new insights, possibilities as well as hope. This work may directly and indirectly connect to our lineage matters and the pieces that were forcing your attention/intention over the past waxing Moon cycle. Be attentive to the matters of emotion and heart and look for symbols and messages that cross your path. Read more about the wisdom of the Full Moon and how to work with the coming waning Moon cycle. Tuesday, September 9th Today's Intention: Find steadiness through flow. Go to your depths and linger. Swim with the currents- not against them. Moon transits Purvabhadrapada nakshatra until mid afternoon. Apply the wisdom of Ajaikapada to your day. Take slow intentional steps. Honor your path, your dance of life. Dance, walk, and honor your feet. Slow and steady steps will provide balance and awareness as you move forward. Moon moves into Pisces at 08:59 am CDT, joining Ketu here. Both receive drishti from Rahu and exalted Mercury in Virgo, as well as exalted Jupiter in Cancer. The inner tides are high right now because the Moon is still very full. As Moon moves into the water sign, Pisces, expect some emotional flooding. Let your inner waters move and move you. Are you listening to what your emotions are telling you? Be attentive to the needs under the tears and inner pressure. At 14:20 CDT, Moon moves into the latter half of the funeral cot, Uttarabhadrapada, ruled by Ahirbudhnya. This serpent deity rules the depths, our mystical realms within. As a Rudra, great strength is available through Ahirbudhnya as well as the removal of misfortune and calamity. Today is a great day to see your depths, touch your limits, but move more gently into them. Surrender to your own flow and rhythms. Trust the cycles to move you naturally- without force. Mars moves to Anuradha nakshatra at 18:03 CDT and Mitra enlivens his dance through Scorpio. Friends, details, connections, as well as movement and travel get activated now. Doorways that were previously closed may be opening now. Connect with the right people in order for greater successes. Expand your horizons, reach for your depths, befriend your critic and ask for the support you need to thrive. This is possible with your diligent action steps! Wednesday, September 10th Today's Intention: Be gentle with your mind, body and emotions today. Extra self care and TLC are essential for tending to your sensitivity and receptivity. Moon moves closer to Ketu today and enters Revati nakshatra at 12:00 CDT. Revati is ruled by Pushan, a nourishing and supportive deity who offers support and prosperity for our paths. Ask him for protection on your journey and he will grant you nourishment. When making an offering to him, make sure it does not need to be chewed; he loves milk and porridge. Inner tides are high, the Moon is in a water sign and nearing Ketu, the planet of restructuring. Ketu and Moon bring increased sensitivity, which may be felt through agitation, anger and frustration, resulting in sudden tears. Touch in with your inner waters and your emotional body. A three level check in is essential periodically today. Connect with your emotional body directly and ask it what it needs. Find gentle ways to offer yourself some loving care. Take alone time if necessary and recharge with meditation, a warm bath or some creative harvesting. Use my Full Moon Creative Ritual for insights. Thursday, September 11th Today's Intention: Make self care your top priority today and fill your cup of inner strength. Do at least one thing to nourish your mental body, emotional body and physical body today. As Moon conjuncts with Ketu exactly at 04:46 am CDT, yesterday's suggestions for extra self care and being mindful of sensitivity increase for today- even as Moon begins to separate from the south node. Continuing through Revati nakshatra until 10:11 am CDT, Moon then jumps into Aries and Ashwini nakshatra. This is a tricky junction point (gandanta) in between water (Pisces) and fire (Aries). It's also the movement of Moon into a symbolically hidden realm (12th house matters and Pisces) into the most visible sign of the chart, 1st house and Aries. Be aware that there could be a dramatic shift internally and externally as the Moon shifts- especially because the Moon will be receiving direct gaze from exalted Saturn once in Aries. Ashwini is ruled by Ketu and the Ashwini-Kumara twins, who provide healing and rejuvenation through the healing arts. Strong like a horse, the twins, can provide physical strength and power to us if we use their tools for healing. The arts, music, Ayurveda and rasayana treatments are all part of their tool kit. Today, rejuvenation and self care can go to a deeper level for lasting nourishment and support. Attend to your inner and outer needs diligently today. Let the strength of the Asvini twins help you go the distance. Venus moves into Purvaphalguni nakshatra at 11:16 am CDT. With Sun here as well, we get double the potency from this fertile constellation. Creativity is heightened, as Bhaga offers us fortune and generous opportunities for wealth and prosperity. Increase your flow and passion with arts, dancing, music and creativity right now. Venus is chasing the Sun through the sky these days which is causing our creative waters to increase their passion with the arts, relationships and our sense of self. Fortunately, Sun and Venus are staying about 10 degrees apart for now which keeps the creativity high, without it getting scorched. Use all this extra Venus for greatness. Friday, September 12th Today's Intention: Use art and creativity to transform and transcend. Let go and heal. Multiple levels of Venus are enlivened today! It's Friday, day of Venus, and Sun and Venus are now both in Purvaphalguni nakshatra- ruled by Venus. To add a bit more Venus to the day, the Moon moves into Bharani nakshatra at 09:00 am CDT, also ruled by Venus. Bharani is ruled by Yama, lord of death and king of dharma. He weighs our karmas at the end of our lives and directs our transition into the afterlife. He connects to self control, restraint and morality. Working with Durga can be helpful to overcome the obstacles of Bharani and to help us transform our challenges into learning and growth. Bharani days give us opportunities for "deaths" and transformational experiences. Today, create, share, flow, connect, take strong action steps and move your self today! Get physical and embodied. Don't be surprised by tears, intense emotions, but do work with them consciously. Be willing to navigate the dance between mental, emotional and physical bodies. Have you done a three level check in? Take your harvesting into movement and creative exploration. Get your paints out and explore your emotions. Use water color to work with Venus directly. Saturday, September 13th Today's Intention: Clean and clarify from the inside out. Stoke your inner flames gently. Moon moves into Krittika nakshatra at 08:34 am CDT, enlivening the Sun and Agni on this day of Saturn. While Moon is still transiting Aries, it receives drishti from Saturn which increases sensitivity in our emotional body. It also activates the need for greater embodiment and physical body movement in order to process our emotions more directly. As Agni is the fire of life and responsible for transformations and turning food into our life nourishment, he is an important part of our ability to "digest" life, our experiences and our environment. Tend to your inner flames today and stoke them gently. Fire brings sudden change and cuts attachments so use today intentionally for clearing, cleaning and transforming. Sun moves into Uttaraphalguni at 09:11 am CDT, moving into the latter half of the Phalguni stars. Aryaman offers sustenance, health and physical strength. Let him provide you with the fruits of your labors. Connect, create and relate. Ask the ancestors to guide you with your momentum and building prosperity in the coming weeks. Shine and attract with your light. Attend to and nourish your body. Moon jumps into Taurus at 14:35 CDT and exalts in its position of full expansion. Here, Moon receives drishti from Mars directly and Rahu. This adds a certain intensity to the Moon's experience. Watch for heat, aggression, intense inner flames. You may feel your inner tides increase, expand and swell or extra steam being created! Work directly with your emotions and inner waters and cultivate presence with their needs. Are you befriending your emotions or pushing past them- missing their messages? Sunday, September 14th Today's Intention: Unleash your wild creativity! Spread your wings and fling paint towards the stars. Let your breath move you. Listen to your innate greatness and use your gifts. Moon moves into Rohini nakshatra at 08:55 am CDT and is considered mulitrikona now as it transits through Taurus. Receiving drishti from Mars and Rahu increases the intensity of the Moon and felt senses right now. Are you attending to your needs or pushing past them? Rohini is an intensely creative star. Ruled by Lord Brahma and the Moon, this nakshatra provides palpable creative potential. It was Lord Brahma after all who created the universe from his navel. His wife is goddess Saraswati, the illustrious goddess of wisdom, art, music, and knowledge. Children are also connected to Rohini since creating them is the epitome of human's creative potential and a way to honor the ancestors. Create, move, share, and get inspired today! What brings you joy and harnesses your inner creativity? Dance and sing, draw and paint. Connect and co-create. Let your inner light shine and expand your horizons with your creative acts. Re-visit my Creative Ritual if you need a jump start. Need some extra guidance and clarity? Schedule a session with me. Plan your week in tune with nature. Never miss a planetary update. Doreen says: "I keep the weekly page open so I can read about the day each morning. Thanks for all the work you do and share!" Moon is now waning. We have several several planetary changes this week- Mercury and Sun. My Sensitivity: Be Your Gift Teleclass + Workshop is now open for sign up. $54 early bird special ends Thursday! Truly looking forward to sharing this work with all the sensitive Moon children! As per my Moon Mind Calendar: "Today, be aware of your judgement- the kind you put on your self and the kind you externalize and impose on others. Be aware of the ego telling you its fantasies and notice where your personal stories and mythologies are running the show." Varuna rules the day. The critic. The judge. Tragically, Robin Williams' critic killed him. Bless his soul. Bless his family. And bless all beings who struggle with their critics, their sensitivity, their emotions. I get this fire dance. I have danced with it and continue to. May we all find the tools, resources and support we need in this life. May we learn to dance with our emotions and our demons and our critics, but not let them destroy us. Monday, August 11th Moon is waning now and transits Aquarius, moving into Satabisha nakshatra at 09:02 am CDT. From this place in Aquarius, Moon is out of the gaze of the other planets, however, Rahu is enlivened today through two levels: By being co-ruler of Aquarius and by ruling Satabisha nakshatra. Rahu is our shadow self, our obsessions, desires and karmas. He is worldly- of this world- rather than the spirit realms. On Rahu days, we need to be reminded we may be overzealous on some level. Try to catch your self in the act. As Moon passes through Satabisha nakshatra, Varuna is enlivened. Varuna is the guardian of Natural Law, who has a thousand eyes in order to see everything. Varuna's job is to be the judge and highly discerning. He rules over our fate and also has immense wisdom. He offers us awareness to act accordingly- but do we? Today, be aware of your judgement- the kind you put on your self and the kind you externalize and impose on others. Be aware of the ego telling you its fantasies and notice where your personal stories and mythologies are running the show. Above all, act with integrity, kindness and compassion. Satabisha days also require us to be vigilant with our health. Don't break the rules today or there will be lasting effects. Mercury is sandhi, at the edge of Cancer, poised to move into Leo. Soften the mental body and tap into your emotional/intuitive body. The mind is about to shift gears dramatically so hold onto this feeling while it lasts. Tuesday August, 12th Moon moves to PurvaBhadrapada at 06:11 am CDT while Mercury is at the edge of Cancer. Purvabhadrapada is ruled by Jupiter and Ajaikapada- another name for Nataraja, Lord Shiva. Tapas, rituals, and purification are part of this nakshatras tendencies as well as tantra and black magic. Ajaikapada is considered a Rudra who offers the complexity of both immense strength, yet calamity. It is through the chaos that we are given an opportunity to learn, grow and change our course. There is often a sense with this nakshatra that one is balancing the impossible, or perhaps has a foot in two different realms. Ajaikapada offers us awareness beyond the material plane of existence, depth and both single pointedness as well as balance. Today, notice where you are divided. Where are binary thinking patterns hindering you? The shoulds and the cant's? The black and the white? Where do you need to close doors in order for new one's to open? What do you need to say no to in order to start finding more yes's in your life? Mercury moves to Leo at 10:22 am CDT and jumps into Magha nakshatra. Great awakening or great discomfort? Mercury will be moving through Leo quickly- in just 18 days. Luckily Leo is a friendly sign for him, but the heat turns back up when Sun joins him this week in Leo on 8.16. This will be a strong placement for Leo, Scorpio and Sagittarius especially. Let the mind be bold and active, but keep it reigned in enough so that it doesn't run away with you. We will all need to be working with themes involving boundaries, emotions, and expanding our self awareness- but in a spectrum of ways. Diligence with the mental body is always important. Expect the mind to be laser sharp in the coming weeks. Work with your 3 level check in for further clarity. Moon moves to Pisces at 22:17 CDT, joining Ketu there. Wednesday August, 13th As Moon jumps into Pisces, he joins Ketu. Moon moves into UttaraBhadrapada at 03:43 am CDT, enlivening Saturn and Ahirbudhnya, the serpent of the nether regions, hidden realms. He brings depth and knowledge to us through the subconscious. And as all serpents are connected to kundalini, there is great awakening possible through him. Be mindful of your emotions today and pay close attention to your boundaries. Feeling angry and agitated? Where are you saying yes when you should be saying no? Drishti from Jupiter on the Moon and Ketu may be the balm that soothes the sting, but avoid the bite if at all possible. Getting clear on what is nourishing and comforting vs. what are just old patterns and behaviors, is essential. Have you signed up for my Be Your Gift Workshop yet? I've created it especially for those of us who are extra sensitive. Find out more. Thursday, August 14th Moon moves to Revati at 1:48 am CDT, with Ketu in this nakshatra as well- and nearing close conjunction with this moksha planet of restructuring. Revati invites in an extra level of Mercury and the nourisher, Pushan, for our journey. Jupiter's drishti offers expansive awareness, while Rahu's gaze can bring a layer of uncertainty or misinformation. Pushan protects, guides and nourishes our paths and is invoked for safe travels and protection from evil. He brings wealth and blessings of abundant nourishment. He is toothless and requires only soft foods that don't require chewing. Milk is a favorite of his. This is a reminder to us that simple is often the most nourishing and that attending to our health and well being often requires simple foods that are easily digested. Pushan reminds us that eating simply and living simply creates abundance. Keep it simple. Stand in your power. Be bold in your mind and firm in your resolve. Get your needs met by simply being clear with what works and what doesn't work. Cut out what doesn't work. The recipe is simple. Can you take the actions? Moon and Ketu are in exact conjunction at 21:30 CDT. Emotions are sensitive. Tend your needs for comfort and nourishment. Make self care a priority tonight. As the day ends, Sun goes into sandhi (the gap) and moves towards the edge of Cancer. Heart matters intensify. Be clear with your self and others. Boundaries are essential. Sun, Rahu and Ketu are in exact degrees at 23:13 CDT and this continues through the early part of Friday. This can be a trigger point, so be mindful of your heart, emotions and needs for comfort, safety and security. Early bird special ends tonight!! My Sensitivity: Be Your Gift Teleclass + Workshop $54 early bird special ends Thursday at 12:30 pm CDT! Truly looking forward to sharing this work with all the sensitive Moon children! Friday, August 15th Just after midnight, the Moon crosses the tricky threshold from Pisces (water) into Aries (fire) and moves into Ashwini nakshatra. Ketu and the Ashvini Kumara (twin brothers) rule this nakshatra so Ketu's ability to restructure suddenly continues as a theme for our emotional body. For some this will bring flashes of awareness and understanding, for others the blinders may get ripped off in uncomfortable ways. With the tension of Mars and exalted Saturn offering their gaze from seven houses away, the Moon gets a bit of pressure and heat as well. Frustrations? Delays? Changes? All of the above? The underlying theme is healing, rejuvenation, receiving some kind of medicine. What is the medicine you are being offered today? What are the healing modalities being presented? What obstacles are you overcoming and what strengths are you having to use? Heal and be healed. Not by force, but by surrender. Sun is still sandhi, take care of your physical body today. This is an ideal time to harvest somatic awareness especially with Saturn's gaze on the Sun. Have you used my Full Moon Creative Ritual yet? Recycle it if you've already done it. Saturday, August 16th Just minutes after midnight CDT, the Moon hops into Bharani nakshatra and Venus and Yama are energized. Yama is lord of death, but brings us restraint, self control and a sense of duty, as well as a desire to "follow the rules"- or break them! Because Yama is connected to death and the transition into death, transformations and life changes are his domain. He brings about mini "deaths" in our life in order to feel the depth of our humanity. Simultaneously, the yoni is Bharani's symbol and this correlates to great sensitivity. Great strength, change and transformation are available today, but not through great effort. It will be the capacity you have to use your sensitivity as a tool of awareness, to let go of the distractions (internal and external) that will be most effective. Heart, mind and body unite and dance; three levels of awareness. Lead with your heart though and the rest will follow. Note where you can't expand, where the heart refuses to go. Look there for wisdom and death. Sun moves to Leo at 19:21 CDT, its own sign. A passionate month is ahead as Sun ignites in its comfortable fire sign, Leo. Sun joins Mercury there (these two are always chasing each other- mental and physical bodies). Leo connects us to 5th house matters of intuition and intelligence, upper intestine (gut), children, creativity, past life credits and father. Sun helps these areas of our life rise and shine, but hopefully not burn us. Sun and Mercury will be free from the gaze of other planets for this transit, so there's a greater ability for the Sun to shine. Venus will join Sun in Leo on the 31st just after Mercury goes exalted. Put on your sunglasses until 9.16 and focus your efforts and energy at this time. Get clear, get focused, make goals and take action! Sunday, August 17th 21 minutes after midnight CDT, Moon moves to Krittika nakshatra. Sun and Agni heighten, though Sun is barely in Leo. Attention and intention on the physical body is essential today. However, with Sun in the gap newly in Leo, we get a rare opportunity for somatic awareness and insight. Be very gentle in your embodiment work today and harvest your findings. Take your 3 level check in into a somatic exploration and then into a drawing or painting. Once Moon moves into Taurus, it exalts and expands at 06:32 am CDT. Just after noon CDT, Moon moves into its mulitrikona degrees. Still an expansive place for it, yet offers us some room to grow; arguably a better placement then exaltation. Agni reminds us to cut, clear, purify and burn away excess so that what remains is pure. Agni is the transformational fire of life that turns food into a life sustaining tool. His alchemical processes are the essential spark of life and living. The symbol of Krittika is a razor. It's through exactness, and razor sharpness, that we cut to the necessities of life. This is a time to cut out all but the essentials. What are your essentials? For life? For living? For loving? For nourishment and support? Get clear and get the job done. Today offers a rare occurrence: Exalted Moon, Saturn and Jupiter while Sun is in its own sign. May you feel this fullness, flow and expansion and may there be some stability as a result. Enjoy! Next week starts out with this flavor- as Moon transits through Taurus. Let the good times roll- for the moment- and enjoy some essence of comfort and support from the cosmos. Sign up for my Be Your Gift Teleclass and Workshop closes tonight at 12:30 pm CDT. If you are a sensitive type like me, you don't want to miss this one! Need some extra guidance and clarity? Schedule a session with me. Plan your week in tune with nature. Never miss a planetary update. Sign up for my weekly newsletter. Was this post helpful? Please share it with a friend! Thank you. Moon is waning this week. Saturn is now direct after months of retrograde motion. Forward momentum returns to our footsteps and helps the energy of the Mars/Saturn conjunction in Libra ease a bit more. New Moon (amavasya) is on Saturday the 26th. I hope you’ll join me for my new Moon celebration and workshop. Join my new Moon online celebration for some new Moon treats and find out more about my new Moon emotional body workshop!
Monday, July 21st Moon moves into Taurus and exalts just after midnight as Monday starts. Moon is exalted in Krittika nakshatra only until 5:58 am CDT and then goes into its mulitrikona placement after that; still a place where the Moon can express itself nicely and feels resilient and open. Moon receives drishti (gaze) from both Mars and Rahu here. This can offer us the ability to work with the emotional body in new and unusual ways since Rahu has newly entered Virgo and he is still in the gap (sandhi) in the 29 degree range. Anger may be a red hot resource for us as well. Don't negate its messages. We may feel our critical edge being tested, a bit grumpy or challenged as a result. We may also be working with themes of abundance, monetary wealth and our stability as a result (or lack thereof). Today may feel a bit hard and soft at the same time. How can this sense of polarity offer us insight into our needs and desires? Krittika nakshatra is ruled by Agni, the sacred fire god of life, transformation and change. We may begin to feel changes and shifts today in our emotional body as a result. How does this emotional shift effect your physical and mental body experiences as well? Tend to your heart fire today- your digestive fires, your life fires. Stoke the flames with small tinder and fan the flames gently, with compassion and gentleness. Moon moves to Rohini nakshatra at 19:21 CDT. Tuesday, July 22nd Today, I celebrate my 34th re-birth. Thank you all for your continued support and for growing and expanding with me and my dharmic work. This is the biggest gift a soul can ask for. You are one of my birthday gifts and I cherish you! Here's to another year of growth, vision, jyoti (light) and creative abundance. Sending my warmth and blessings to each of you! xo Moon continues in Taurus today and is in the auspicious lunar constellation of Rohini nakshatra. Ruled by lord Brahma, who created the entire universe from his navel, this nakshatra exemplifies the human potential- brimming with creativity and fulfillment of material desires. Goddess Saraswati is the consort of Brahma; she is our creative life force connected to music, the arts, knowledge and wisdom. This dynamic of Saraswati and Brahma together allows the sparks of creative potential to be acted upon and then materialized. Use both to capture the full offerings of this day. With Mars and Rahu's drishti still on the Moon, unusual and foreign creativity can be activated and cultivated today with new action steps. Dream big, think big, create big. Plant seeds with artistic actions and water these desires with thoughtful action steps. Dance, sing, paint, create today. Let the universe hear your heart songs and go for the gold. Let the heart swell and swim with the vastness of it. Moon is waning and we are turning our attention/intention inward now naturally. Tend to the inner senses and cultivate presence with your own fragility as we become fully empty. Now is a good time to start self tracking. Use the theme of letting go, releasing and emptiness for your personal inquiry. Join me for my new Moon online celebration where I will be sharing some creative rituals for this new Moon. All who join will be entered to win some new Moon gifts! Moon moves to Mrigashirsha nakshatra at 21:11 CDT. Wednesday, July 23rd Moon transits Mrigashirsha nakshatra and moves into Gemini at 10:15 am CDT joining Venus and Mercury there. Chandra (the Sanskrit name for the Moon) rules Mrigashirsha as well as the deity Soma, which is another name for the Moon personified. The planetary ruler here is Mars who connects to all earth and grounding matters, like soil and homes. It is the plants of the earth that offer us Soma, through their divine nectar, saps and juiciness. It is the Moon that fills the plants with sap. Thus the connections between Mars, Moon and Soma. Mrigashirsha is symbolic of growth, ojas, procreative powers and creative acts that give nourishment. Through foods, creative expression, with movement and change, as well as poignant action steps, seek nourishment today. Invite in Soma, the nectar of life and let the sap of life nourish and support you. Mercury moves into the latter half of Gemini and into Punarvasu nakshatra at 9:24 am CDT, inviting in another layer of nourishment with Aditi, the mother of Oneness and all goodness. She helps us expand, find nourishment through wisdom and acquire knowledge through experience. In the coming days, allow Aditi to nourish your mental body, to invite in awareness through life experiences, and let this wisdom nourish your actions, choices and direction. Moon moves to Ardra nakshatra at 23:24 CDT. Need some extra guidance and clarity? Schedule a session with me. Thursday, July 24th Moon travels through Ardra nakshatra today and enlivens Rudra, the storm god, and the planet Rahu. Rudra is powerful- whether this power is used for change, movement and momentum or emotional upheaval and chaos, the essential element of his nature is destruction. Destruction is a necessary component of change. We must deconstruct before we can reconstruct, or construct anything for that matter. He is a vital part of our change process and helps us with our confrontation process as well. It is in this part of the change process that we usually get angry or have a strong emotional expression. This is when you know that you are onto something big- a big change. The bigger the emotion, the bigger the change. Be sure to use a three level check in today at least once in order to clearly identify the felt senses. Additionally, Jupiter and Sun are in exact degrees today, a very tight combustion (solar burn). The guru, teacher, is getting burned by the source of light, Sun. This can make for a "hot seat" which can be uncomfortable to say the least. Look for agitation and anger and inquire about where these emotions are coming from within you. What is the underlying need? On the other hand, this combination can be highly activating for teaching, sharing wisdom, insights and jyoti (light). Take an action step toward today with your gifts; sharing, offering, giving. Give gratitude to soften the overly activating energy of this combination. Let the emotional body have its way with you today. Moon in Gemini with Mercury and Venus, while Venus is simultaneously in Ardra as well, insures that relationships may be the focus of our emotional upheavals. We also have the opportunity to use creative resources and tools to maximize our awareness and the change factor. Take your emotions into painting, drawing, writing, dancing and sounding. Do not cut and paste over your feelings today or suppress them. They will only come out later down the road in more destructive ways. Use your feelings with intelligence today. Deconstruct, reconstruct, with awareness. Are you joining me for my new Moon celebration online and my new Moon workshop? Friday, July 25th Moon moves to Punarvasu nakshatra at 1:54 am CDT enlivening Aditi and Jupiter and offering us each a taste of expansion; the essence of experiential awareness if we choose to open and extend ourselves to it. The "mother of all goodness" brings with her a sense of universal oneness and our interconnectedness. Notice if there are moments in your day where this offering arrives. Moon moves into the 15th tithi, the final waning Moon phase, at 15:27 CDT, inviting in an empty cup. Are you joining me for my new Moon celebration online and my new Moon workshop? As Moon moves into its own sign of Cancer at 21:56 CDT, the senses shift as does our felt sense. Here, the Moon joins exalted Jupiter and Sun and receives drishti (gaze) from Saturn and Ketu. This combination could bring about mental/emotional exhaustion and a sense of "overdoing it". Be mindful through the weekend of when your emotional body tells you to stop, slow down, change directions, or make a shift somehow. Saturday, July 26th Moon is in its own sign of Cancer with Sun, and exalted Jupiter here as well. All receive drishti (gaze) from Saturn and Ketu. Moon moves into Pushya nakshatra at 4:38 am CDT. Be sure to join me for my new Moon workshop today at 12:00 CDT. Moon crosses over exalted Jupiter and conjoins Sun as it fully empties its light in the 15th and final tithi (Moon phase). New Moon is today in Cancer at 17:41 CDT while in Pushya nakshatra. Sun, Moon and exalted Jupiter are all in Pushya, the nourishing star at this time. This is a profoundly symbolic cosmic expression of what we are moving towards in the coming waxing cycle. The coming weeks offer a theme of finding increased nourishment. Knowing what this is, what it feels like, and how we cultivate its presence within ourselves and our lives is worthy of our attention and intention. Perhaps nourishment arrives with knowledge and wisdom, comforts and support, kindness and gratitude, increased synchronization of Nature and her rhythms. Perhaps it comes with the gentleness of the breath and taking in life more easefully. Take note of what you are opening to and the many ways and means that offer you nourishment and fulfillment in the coming cycle. What are you filling your cup with? What are you inviting into your being, into your life? Let the awareness of vitality and nourishment be your guide. Trust your emotional body to be your compass, your guide. Sunday, July 27th Mars moves into Swati nakshatra at 6:01 am CDT. Rahu and Vayu, the wind god, invite in a sense of urgency, movement and momentum. Don't get lost in the forced agenda of this combination. Mars is still conjunct exalted Saturn and it's important to head to his messages and desires for slow and steady action. Mars and Vayu have needs of swiftness and quickness. This can intensify frustrations, agitations and anger and cause us to act in imbalanced ways. If you notice yourself rushing, forcing, pushing for results, consider this your warning. It's a waste of your energy and will cause greater issues in the long run. Take action, but let Saturn lead the way with stability, focus, sustainability, timeliness and deep surrender. Moon moves into Ashlesha nakshatra at 7:32 am CDT, enlivening Sarpa and Mercury. Serpent energy slides into our lives today and is evoked through Nature. How can Sarpa offer some awakening and evoke our inner treasures? The serpent energy invites in transformation, awakening and change. The dark side of Sarpa is illusions and deceptions, very Rahu like shadows. We have some options though in how we use our serpent energy, and what we are evoking, invoking and inviting in. How do you want to use your serpent energy today? Mercury moves to the edge of its own sign Gemini and is poised for change, pushing into Cancer tomorrow, where it will join exalted Jupiter and Sun there. As Mercury moves to the edge of Gemini, the portal opens, inviting in a rare opportunity to unite mental body and emotional body. Be sure to take time to harvest this potential and listen carefully. What can be accomplished when mind and emotions unite and find a sense of harmony? Need some extra guidance and clarity? Schedule a session with me. Plan your week in tune with Nature.
