With all the big upheaval and changes that have recently taken place, I'd like to be able to say it's smooth sailing from here on out.
I wish I could say that the transits will be agreeable and offer ease and simplicity for the next few months. That there will be a pause and some gentleness. Unfortunately, the upcoming transits show big changes in the weeks and months ahead, and through 2017. My intention is always to speak the sweet truth, so I will share the challenges here- with some important resources as well. Remember, there are always gifts! It may be more challenging to find them in the coming days, but moving closer to what you are grateful for is a balm for the heart. This is a particularly tumultuous time. Unlike anything I've seen before- because there are multiple layers of challenges impacting us simultaneously. The aggression being stirred in the environment is activating individuals very acutely, and individuals are intensifying the collective energy as well. The churning is extreme right now. In the Vedic literature, demon god, Rahu, was instrumental in the churning of the ocean of milk. The gods realized that by churning the ocean of milk, they could extract some Amrita, the divine nectar of immortality (like churned cream becomes butter). But they couldn't do it alone. They had to employ the support of the demons (asuras) to create the momentum needed. The demons and gods worked together and the Amrita rose to the top, but the asuras ended up stealing it for themselves. The gods fought back and with the support of Vishnu (the sustaining force of dharma) they were able to regain the Amrita. Vishnu gave each one of the gods a drop of the immortal nectar, but Rahu (Svarbhanu) received a drop accidentally. Rahu was positioned in between the Sun and the Moon as he received the nectar, and they recognized him at once. Vishnu chopped Rahu in half with a chakra and thus Rahu (head of the serpent) and Ketu (tail of the serpent) were born. Rahu continues to chase the Sun and Moon out of disdain. The formless entities Rahu and Ketu are representative of the unseen forces at play within all humans. Rahu drives the cravings and the appetite for this material world, while Ketu forces the inevitable release process, severing us from worldly attachments. Right now, this epic "churning" is taking place very acutely- inside of you and on the world stage. You are likely feeling this within mind and emotions directly. But all you have to do is look at what is taking place within our society right now to see how this churning is impacting the world- socially, politically, environmentally, etc. What is activating this dynamic right now is the Kala Sarpa Yoga effects. Sarpa means snake in Sanskrit, which is intensifying the serpent energy in extreme ways right now. Rahu is transiting through Leo and Ketu in Aquarius which is creating highs and lows and activating polarities very elaborately. Once the Kala Sarpa Yoga officially ends on January 20th when Mars shifts into Pisces, there will be some leveling out, but the churning will continue with the impact of Ketu. Read more about Kala Sarpa Yoga's effects. In the coming weeks and months, there will be an increase of Ketu's cutting energy. Ketu is the tail of the serpent who brings release, cutting of attachments and forced letting go. He brings liberation, ultimately, but usually not without pain. He can also show you specifically where there is trauma in your natal chart, as his detachment causes disconnection on multiple levels- physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. On December 9th, Rahu shifts into a Ketu ruled nakshatra, Magha. This nakshatra is considered one of the three gandantas- junction points between water and fire signs. These portals are particularly notorious for creating immense transformation and change. Ketu is currently transiting a Rahu ruled nakshatra, Satabisha. This exchange between Rahu and Ketu will bring to light much of the darkness and deception that seems so illusive right now. Nothing is what it seems. The Sarpa (serpent) energy being activated right now is increasing the extreme highs and lows taking place inner and outer. Things go well and support comes, but then this is taken or it vanishes somehow. All is illusive and in constant change. The shift of Rahu into Magha will activate the ancestors and increase the forced cutting and release process taking place currently. Magha brings magnanimous action and a royal spirit with profound accomplishment and visibility. It's shadow side is excess ego, misuse of masculine power and extreme or aggressive force. As the necessity for being in right-relationship with the masculine energy comes to the surface right now, notice where you are pushing too hard and forcing outcomes. Notice where your ego is controlling you, rather than heart and spirit. Learning the art of detachment and release is an important lesson right now. We are also learning how to integrate extremes and polarities very intimately. Working with the spine very specifically is an important resource right now. Track sensations in your spine and use this as a resource for finding greater stability and support within. As the new Moon in Scorpio arrives, the coming cycle brings an even greater necessity for integration, harmony and balance with your polarities and extremes. Let your spine lead the way as it is the Maha channel of integration for the entire body. As Sarpa (snake) energy continues to activate and intensify in the coming weeks, illusions and deceptions come to the light. Are you willing to look at your own shadows? Your own darkness is being mirrored to you through others- in challenging and confrontational ways right now. Look deeply within and clear away your darkness. Bring it to the light. Let your body and spine support this integration process of merging shadow and light. Stay connected to sensations in the spine. Listen for messages. Ask your spine to speak to you. What do you hear? Track this closely in the coming days. The body has all the wisdom you seek. The theme of forced cutting and release will be amplified as a series of planets march through Sagittarius and Mula nakshatra in the coming weeks and months and through 2017. Mula is a Ketu ruled nakshatra, which is notorious for uprooting and forced releases. We've already experienced Mars and Venus transiting this challenging gandanta recently (the gap between water and fire signs that are particularly connected to untying knots within the psyche). Mercury begins his lengthy passage through Sagittarius on the 28th of November, marching in and out of Mula nakshatra several times between now and February. Sun shifts into Sagittarius next, creating big changes starting December 15th. Then Saturn arrives in Sagittarius for a few months, beginning January 26th. Why do these transits provoke such change and upheaval? Both Mula and Magha are gandanta points which trigger extreme inner turmoil and change. Gandantas are points in the zodiac between water signs and fire signs (Pisces/Aries, Cancer/Leo, Scorpio/Sagittarius). These points are notorious for causing immense upheaval, as deeply rooted knots within your being get released. Both Mula and Magha are nakshatras situated in these powerful gaps that trigger immense change processes to take place. Both nakshatras are also ruled by Ketu, a non planet notorious for sudden release, forced letting go and remarkable changes. His goal is to support your moksha, liberation, to release you from your attachments. Mula nakshatra is ruled by the dark goddess, Nirrti, responsible for adharmic activity- that which is against dharma. She is notorious for causing chaos, calamity and misfortune, while also pulling you from your dharmic path. There is a risk in the coming months of losing your path, getting stuck in the storm of uncertainty, confusion and misalignment. If you find yourself lacking clarity about your life purpose, or confusion seems to increase, it's time to seek support and guidance. Resources, guidance and support will be even more important at this time because it will be so easy to fall into the chaos and confusion that Nirrti provokes. With great diligence however, this can also be a time of strengthening your determination, focus and alignment with dharma. Do not lose hope. Do not get lost in Nirrti's perfect storm. Stay connected and aligned with your dreams, desires, goals and passions. These are important resources to help you honor your dharmic path. This Week's Intention: Allow inner healing, transformation and renewal to take place. Release and purge the darkness in order for new light to emerge. Monday begins with a waning Moon in the 2nd tithi (phase) called Dvitiya. Moon transits Pisces, conjunct Ketu, while in Uttarabhadrapada nakshatra. Rahu and exalted Mercury give their drishti, inviting in a powerful dance between mind and emotions. Healing and transformational themes arrive for the week ahead- especially on the mental and emotional body levels. Be prepared to loosen your grip, to let go and release. As Moon moves through the final sign of the zodiac and the 26th nakshatra on Monday morning, we prepare for a new cycle. Allow release, letting go and transformation. Pour out your cup in the coming days. Ruling deity of Uttarabhadrapada, Ahirbudhnya, is the serpent of the netherworlds. He helps us access our hidden, inner wisdom. It's there, can you find it? It's the hidden, dark and mysterious kind. It will come in flashes- suddenly provoking insight and shifts in perception. If your third eye is closed, you'll miss it. Let Monday continue to offer its awakening support. Keep looking and you'll find what you are seeking. Monday evening, Moon moves to the final nakshatra of the zodiac, Revati, closing out another cycle. What endings need to be attended to? What beginnings are you preparing for? Mars and Venus form exact conjunction today as they continue to move through Cancer. Honor your heart and let the feelings flow. Mars brings cutting and precision which is painful to our softer, gentler side. Water planet Venus, can help us maintain fluidity and movement. Don't let stagnation hold you back. Try to avoid heart burn and heartache by staying in the flow. Use your body wisdom to navigate the emotional body challenges. Get embodied. Join me for my final round of Jyotish Basics classes! Our focus of the month is Healing the Four Bodies through the Wisdom of Jyotish. Sign Up. Tuesday arrives with Moon in Revati nakshatra, Pushan's domain. He assures nourishment on our journey, safety for our path and ease and comfort along the way. Look for resources and support as Pushan is here to offer them. Are you open to receiving what is arriving? The tussle between the emotional body and mental body continues. Strip away the veils of illusion and all that is keeping you from feeling your depth. The feeling body is your true wisdom, your strength and power. Allow feelings to emerge and listen to your emotions for clues. What do you need to invite in for greater nourishment and support on your path? Late afternoon, Moon makes the challenging shift from water (Pisces) to fire (Aries) as he leaps across the difficult gandanta gap- from endings to beginnings. Jupiter gives his drishti and his blessings to Aries, but only if we strip away the false, the illusions. Stand in your power. Be bold and step powerfully into renewal. Mark this time by declaring your intentions for the new cycle. The Ashvini-Kumara twins are here to guide you with their healing support and wisdom. Wednesday offers the possibility for fresh mental body beginnings. Moon continues through Ashwini nakshatra and healing is offered- if we attend to our creativity, self care and rejuvenation. What can you simplify, let go of, release? How can you soften in the heart and invite in more compassion- for your self and others? Can you stay in your power, even as you do so? After noon, Moon shifts to the edgy Bharani nakshatra and we feel a shift in focus. Sensitivity and strength emerge. Can we walk the fine line between these two? Ruling deity, Yama, reminds us of the delicate dance between vulnerability and power. Use restraint to maximize your power and potential. Don't waste your energy or efforts. Attend to self care. Thursday, Moon moves to the third portion of Aries and finishes up its movement through Bharani just after noon. As Moon shifts into Krittika nakshatra, purification and transformation are the catalysts for change and healing. Ruling deity, Agni, god of fire and all things digestion, brings his heat and potent life fire. Simmer, stew and cook away impurities, but don't burn or char them. It will take attention and intention to avoid the burn. Slowly release the inner heat. Stoke your inner flames gently. As Moon jumps into Taurus in the evening, its potency is released. The emotional body arrives into an exalted state- for better or worse. Can you handle the high tides or do you need a life preserver? Saturn gives his drishti (gaze) and amplifies our pain, suffering and grief. Open the valves. Rahu gives his gaze as well, inviting in grande illusion and uncertainty. Is the pain real or false? As Friday arrives, Moon moves into mulitrikona degrees as it continues through Krittika nakshatra. Agni is still supporting our clarification process. Transform, heal, release, repeat. Get clear on what needs to be let go of, then let it fly. Just after noon, Moon shifts to the creative and potent constellation, Rohini. Lord Brahma arrives to support our creative powers, instigate manifestation and activate our life force energy. The clarification and cleaning process from the previous days has cleared the channels for new flow and activation. Consciously remove the blockages that are keeping you from abundance. What is stopping your flow? What powerful action steps need to be taken? The intensity of the previous days and weeks begins to dissipate as the triad of tight conjunctions loosens. Mars and Venus will continue to dance with each other closely, though separating somewhat as they won't be in exact degrees. Mars however is still debilitated until September 15th which brings challenges to actions and emotions. Jupiter and Sun also begin to separate from close conjunction in Leo, lessening the heat and pressure on our inner wisdom and sense of self. Mercury and Rahu also move away from tight conjunction for now. Start to feel the space and open the pathways of awakening and understanding. Allow resources, answers and solutions. Saturday continues with Brahmas creative support and manifestation powers until noon. As Moon slips into Mrigashirsha nakshatra midday, it's time to shift our focus to increasing nourishment through Soma's gifts. There's healing, wisdom, support and life giving resources to be had. Are you listening? Are you able to receive? Your heart and emotional body will be the primary channels for this nectar of life. Keep reaching and extending towards the nourishment you need. Just as Sunday begins, Moon jumps into Gemini, Mercury's sign. Moon finishes up the ninth tithi (phase) called Navami, as the waning Moon settles in. Outside of the gaze of any other planets, Moon can help us feel some inner momentum in the coming days. Check in with your self and do an audit of your life on the four levels of being- mental, emotional, physical and spiritual. What needs to be attended to at this time? At noon, Moon moves to the forceful nakshatra, Ardra, and its ruling deity, Rudra, intensifies our mental/emotional balance. Can you feel the increase from all sides? Now, more than ever, its vital that you listen to your inner signals and watch for the manipulation of chaos. Take your power back and stand in your center, your knowing. This soft center, where your inner wisdom resides, is the place where your power can not be dismantled. Stay true to your knowing. Get grounded. Venus goes direct at 01:28 in Cancer. For well over a month Venus's backwards dance has asked us to re-evaluate relationships, money, creativity and our life force energy. The planet of relationships, creativity, and artistry, Venus is connected to all things feminine and life giving. It offers beauty, fluidity, wealth and life giving powers, most essentially, shakti. Worldly comforts and resources can increase through Venus's benevolence and help us feel more stable in material ways. As Venus continues to move through Cancer, conjunct debilitated Mars, our chest, heart and emotional body center feels the pangs. The planet of feeling, creativity, relationships and all things beautiful and worldly continues to adjust to the high demands of the heart and emotions until September 30th. With debilitated Mars in this sign as well, our heart is in for an emotional ride. The valves are open for an influx of water, feelings, heightened emotions and all the challenges connected to these. Home, heart, land, vehicles, mother and all fourth house matters get amplified. How do you navigate the choppy waters? Will you sink, swim or learn to float? Can you attend to the moving tides and go with the flow? Now is an excellent time to clean up and heal issues with relationships, money, creativity and emotions. Don't fight the tidal waves, but learn to swim with the currents. Venus must now re-trace his steps back through the first part of Leo. As he moves back through Leo on September 30th, he works his way through Magha nakshatra once again- the domain of the ancestors, most notably the father. This increases our attention on power, authority and the need to pay special attention to our personal mythology connected to these themes. As Venus moves through Leo, we can expect passions to increase for relationships and connection, while strong desires may emerge simultaneously. Expect intensified strength, determination and power to materialize, while aggression and agitation may increase as well. The transit of Venus through Leo is the instigation of an unfolding theme that has been ripening within the planets. Working with power and authority dynamics is vital, especially the masculine energy within you. Notice where you are pushing, using excessive force and using an over-active drive to accomplish and succeed. Take time to contemplate the meaning of success from different angles. Your ego may feel challenged by this. How can you soften your action steps? Where can you let go and surrender more? How can you be a winner- on all levels of life? How can you meet your relationships with more compassion- both with yourself and others? This work with power dynamics is especially relevant while Venus enters back into the first portion of Leo- where Jupiter is currently. Sunday's reminder is important through Monday. After noon, Moon shifts to a softer, more sensitive nakshatra, Punarvasu. Aditi's all knowing wisdom offers us insights and awareness that weren't previously available to us. Let her nourishment give you depth, trust and expanded knowing. There is some clean up to do. Listen to your truth. *Timing used is Pacific Standard Time Zone.

We also have Mercury moving into Sagittarius, and Sun right behind him early next week. The stalemate of planets in Scorpio begins to break up, but our focus shifts now to Sagittarius, Jupiter's sign. Moon is waning now. Since we are working with the shift from water (Scorpio) into fire (Sagittarius) this week, diligence with our emotional body work is the name of the game right now! Monday, December 8th Today's Intention: Step out of your comfort zone and be nourished. Moon transits one of Rahu's nakshatras, Ardra, ruled by the powerful force, Rudra. This is a sharp star, one that has a cutting nature and can help us make executive decisions. With Rahu and Rudra behind it, there can be intense shadow involved. Worldly affairs are well suited to this nakshatra, but intense emotional upheaval is also its domain. Moon receives direct gaze from the creative (yet currently disheveled) Venus. With three planets still in Scorpio (the Moon's sign of debilitation) and Venus (water) now in the calamity provoking nakshatra Mula, this is a time to be working directly with our emotional body. Let the flood gates open and tears move out and through you. There may be ample energy used today on confronting parts of ourselves and others that are very challenging to us. Understand that the release and change will be next. Jupiter goes into retrograde motion at 14:11 CST for the next five months. He will be retrograde until April 4th, which brings us a time period of returning, and many reminders of Jupiter's offerings from the past months of his exalted passage through Cancer. His gifts will return, his wisdom, his blatant suggestions of heart nourishment, emotional well-being, and healthy boundary work- but in new, perhaps more intense ways. As with any retrograde planet, he will be acting like the nodes (Rahu and Ketu) and thus will be more dramatic in his nature. Additionally, any exalted planet that goes retrograde becomes debilitated (uccha banga). For many of us, this will be a strong identification phase in order to help us fully change and grow into new awareness and awakening. There may be issues, concerns and situations that occur with heart matters, emotional body, mother, land and vehicles in the coming months as we clean up these parts of our life. Read more about Jupiter's transit through Cancer. Moon shifts into Punarvasu nakshatra at 14:14 CST and a change is ushered in with Aditi and her cosmic resources, as well as a return of the light through the wisdom she provides. Tuesday, December 9th Today's Intention: Open your heart wisdom and let it flow like a river of nourishment. Moon continues to transit Punarvasu and moves into Cancer at 09:39 am CST, joining retrograde Jupiter there. He is now in a debilitation phase (uccha banga) and the Moon will enliven this for us today. We may notice themes coming up today that will illuminate the themes of the next few months, so pay attention and take notes. Moon receives direct gaze from an exalted Mars and Ketu now and this creates a divine intervention from MA, if not anger and rage on the surface. Underneath this is of course divine passion, so see if you can harness these flames and put them to good use without letting them burn you or others in the process. Moon shifts into Pushya nakshatra at 16:06 CST and a stronger sense of nourishment has the opportunity to arrive for us. However, we may experience a pinch first, before the milk begins to flow. Knowledge often comes with a price; the price of awakening. Exalted Mars shifts into Sravana nakshatra at 23:18 CST which is ruled by Vishnu and his expansiveness, and the Moon's tender, creativity. Mars transits through the sacred and spiritually oriented 28th nakshatra, Abhijit, which is positioned in between Uttarashada and Sravana. We will be feeling this resonance leading up to and following Mars's shift into Sravana as a result. Use this time for goal setting, getting your intentions very clear, organized and ask the divine to support you in your endeavors. The coming weeks will offer new levels of productivity, resources and dharmic pursuits for those ready to take our work to the next level. We must be willing and able to hear the messages coming to us in order to receive the support though. Make sure you take ample time to pause, deeply listen and be with your inner wisdom, in order to hear the divine whispering in your ear. Stay open minded to all possibilities at this time. Wednesday, December 10th Today's Intention: When one door closes, another one opens. Moon continues through Pushya nakshatra the majority of the day, enlivening Brihaspati (Jupiter deified) and the planet Saturn. Pushya is the nourishing star, but he does it through balance. Balance requires an evening out of what is lop sided and ultimately not serving us. Thus there is often a pinch when it occurs. Pushya brings us that balance, and the pinch, but is ultimately connected to our deep nourishment. Today is a reminder to trust the balance of life to serve us deeply and to offer us the medicine we need for long term, sustainable nourishment. Today, make embodiment and resourcing the wisdom of the body, a high priority. Moon shifts into Ashlesha nakshatra at 18:28 CST, joining a now retrograde Jupiter in this nakshatra as well. Ashlesha is ruled by Sarpa and the planet Mercury. Sarpa represents our serpent energy, rooted in our mental body essentially, and yet great healing and transformation is possible when we work directly with our mind, in order to overcome its snakey nature. Mercury is currently still transiting Scorpio, which means working with our depths is a priority right now. Thursday, December 11th Today's Intention: Shine your light into your dark corners and look for cobwebs. Moon continues to transit Ashlesha nakshatra the majority of the day and conjuncts retrograde Jupiter as well, which will have a magnifying effect on our mental and emotional bodies. With Jupiter retrograde now (and debilitated), we are being invited deep into our hearts (and mind while Jupiter is still in Ashlesha nakshatra). Use this time for healing, purifying and pulling up mental and emotional weeds. It's important to work with embodiment resources as well, and to stay grounded in the physical body as much as possible. Are you checking in with your three levels of awareness regularly? As Moon jumps into Leo and Magha nakshatra 21:16 CST, we will feel a sudden shift, impacted by Pitr and our ancestors. Moon now receives drishti from exalted Mars and Saturn. Magha is ruled by Ketu, so expect the change to come quickly- through flashes of insight, awareness or through sudden situational changes. There is some old karma working on us right now, so be aware of the work that needs to be done to address old haunts and new awakenings. With drishti of Mars and Saturn on the Moon, we get added heat and pressure on our emotional body which may make for discomfort and a sense of contraction. Pay special attention to your emotional body messages and look for the needs that are under them. Friday, December 12th Today's Intention: From their place in the light, the ancestors are urging you forward. Moon continues to transit through Magha nakshatra today. Yesterday's message of the ancestors pertains to our day. Pitr, and the ancestors are enlivened as we work with ancient karmas. Old pieces, dark matter, and shadow work is a big theme right now. Today we may feel the roots of these dark parts of ourselves very connected to our family paradigm and begin to see them more clearly. Be aware of themes that present themselves and take notes. Mercury is now sandhi, moving to the edge of Scorpio and preparing to shift into Sagittarius. This is an uncomfortable leap from a water sign into a fire sign and the mental body will likely be feeling this "out of the water, into the fire" scenario. A sharpening tenacity is coming, but for now we are still languishing in murky waters. Saturday, December 13th Today's Intention: What is the deepest form of nourishment that you desire? Go there. Moon moves into Purvaphalguni nakshatra just after midnight, enlivening Bhaga and Venus and inviting in fertility, wealth and happiness. However, with the ruling planet Venus, currently in Mula nakshatra, we will likely be feeling our lack, rather than our abundance. Keep this in mind as well as the movement of Mercury into Sagittarius, as he will be sandhi, in the gap through Sunday. Be very diligent with your physical, emotional and mental body check-ins right now in order to strengthen your attention and intention on your needs. Self care is non-negotiable. Moon is being touched by both Mars and Saturn as it transits Leo which adds heat and pressure, as well as a heightened emotional frustration to our experience. I will be starting my self-care challenge tomorrow to offer reminders. Make sure you're on my newsletter list. Mercury jumps into Sagittarius and Mula nakshatra at 03:26 am CST, moving through the very tricky gandanta junction of Scorpio (water) into Sagittarius (fire). The added intensity of this transit is that all planets that move through this gandanta shift from Jyeshtha nakshatra (Indra's domain), into Mula nakshatra (Nirrti's domain). Indra is connected to dharma, strength and the refining of the senses. Nirrti is a disheveled goddess, who brings chaos, calamity and misfortune. She moves us away from dharma through fear, danger and death as well as going against the Laws of Nature. Her husband is Adharma, the god that takes us away from dharma. Mula can be a very spiritual nakshatra- one that pulls up the necessary weeds on our path, in order for us to ultimately see more clearly. This does not come with ease and grace however. Venus has already made this challenging leap, and continues to transit Mula until December 16th. Mercury will be in Mula until the 21st. Sun makes the challenging leap from Scorpio to Sagittarius on the 15th and stays in Mula until the 28th. The intensity of all this change and transformation will climax with the new Moon on winter Solstice, the 21st. This new Moon will occur in Mula nakshatra, heightening the emptiness, the release and the transformation of this time. A massively transformational way to end 2014. As we continue to feel the chain reaction of planets filing into Sagittarius, passing through this challenging gandanta, remind yourself that this is a time of deep uprooting, forced change, crazy making, and chaos. The end result will provide a very different landscape for each of us, but for now, we must continue to till our soil. Through the end of December, be conscious of the many changes occurring within you and around you. Make purposeful intentions for your coming year and ground into the knowing that this too shall pass, and another cycle of growth and renewal will arrive with greater balance. Sunday, December 14th Today's Intention: Pick your fruits, but pick them wisely. Moon moves to Uttaraphalguni at 03:21 am CST, inviting in Aryaman and the Sun into our day. The ancestors are invited into our awareness, as well as nourishment that makes harmony last- especially in our relationships. Dive deep today and seek the pieces you need for contentment, fruitful and nourishing endeavors, as well as what will strengthen the relationship with your self and others. Make self care a priority right now and continue to be alert to what is nourishing you and what is not. This is a time of radical release, so let go of what is not aligned with your deepest needs. As Moon shifts into Virgo at 10:06 am CST, he joins Rahu there and receives gaze from Ketu. Work with your shadows intentionally today. Our emotional body intelligence is moving straight into the shadows for the coming days so be willing to dance with your darkness in more conscious ways at this time. Look for the gifts. I am starting my self-care challenge tomorrow to offer reminders. Make sure you're on my newsletter list. Need some extra guidance and clarity? Schedule a session with me.

8.15 Moon in Anuradha (see yesterday's Moon Mind) until 14:17 CDT when it moves to Jyeshtha nakshatra ruled by Lord Indra and Mercury. Extra sensitivity and mental acuity abounds right now. Use the strength of Indra (god of rain, clouds and thunder) to cleanse, overcome and transform negatives into positives- especially on the mental level. Sun is sandhi (in the gap) of Cancer transiting Ashlesha nakshatra and moves into Leo tomorrow. This transit from Cancer into Leo is considered Gandanta because it is a junction between water (Cancer) and fire (Leo). This transit will mostly effect the mind and the mental/emotional connection. There may be tears for some and/or mental turmoil. We can thank the serpent energy of Ashlesha for this, the shadows, the misrepresentations of life and the poisons that we self-create. Regardless, this is a cleansing time, a time of rest and restoration if we use it properly. Use ritualized self-care and mystical wisdom to weather the storms. Meditate. Go within. Moon Mindfulness ::: Mind Your Moon
04.12.13 Moon in Aries transiting Krittika nakshatra. Moon has now passed over Ketu and is sandhi (in the gap), moving into Taurus (its place of exaltation) at 21:18 this evening. Krittika is about purifying, clarifying, burning and razor sharp exactness. Ruled by Agni, the fire of life, there is an essence of alchemy here, transformations, changes, and all that it takes for this to transpire. The most basic example of Agni's transformational abilities deals with food and digestion- literally Agni gives life as a result of the digestive fire. Truly a metaphor for life! Fire is purification. Fire is growth, change and evolution. When we feel the heat, when we are being "cooked" by its heat, when we suffer and stew, we have the ability to grow in consciousness and awareness. Agni can be that link that connects us to the higher realms. Sacred fire ensures that the essence of our offerings make their way to the gods/goddesses. Agni is essential for all yagyas. As the second day of Navaratri and day of Durga, Agni is a perfect ingredient for the day. Durga (and her many incarnations) is a fierce goddess, connected to health, warfare, strength and transformation. Ask her to journey with you on this Path and she will grant her guidance- in all its forms- providing you strength and courage to navigate changes. She brings us her purifying fires, her razors of exactness, her ability to destroy and slaughter. Where are we holding back? Where are we refusing to change? Where are we still burning? Stand in your fire, and use this as the sacred flame, the alchemy that is essential for this One True Life to be realized. With the heat gaining strength in Aries now, we have the ability for personal development and realizations on a high level. Light your flames. Check my horoscopes this week (link below) for possible hints. Mars has moved to Aries now (its own sign) and joins Venus and Ketu there. Mars and Venus in Ashwini nakshatra, Ketu in Bharani. The heat is building in Aries. Stay cool and fan the flames. Sun joins the pack tomorrow! This will mean that three planets have successfully made it across the tricky gandanta passage from Pisces to Aries. Planets are still weak in degrees (vulnerable) so care and patience with your Self and others is necessary. http://www.swatijrjyotish.com/1/post/2013/04/horoscopes-for-the-week-of-40813.html |
