This week, I had someone unsubscribe from my newsletter list and leave me a note of disapproval. They said that my "spiritual" marketing made them uncomfortable and the quote I shared in one of my Diwali newsletters that said, "I love money", turned them off. I want to thank this person for sharing their discomfort with me. It proved to be a very valuable resource for my own process and helped me to deepen my love of money. Yes, I do love money! There are many reasons actually, but this is why I love money and think it is a fabulous resource for our spirituality. Perhaps the best! Money is a resource. It is energy. The energy of money brings us what we need and helps us get the nourishment that we need in this life. We are here to manifest, to create our lives. Money is one such resource that we need to create the life we want for ourselves. I love getting my needs met and feeling nourished. I love that money can do this for me. But this isn't the only reason I love money. I love that money gives a reflection. It amplifies, it mirrors, it helps us identify. It's an energy after all. I see so often in the spiritual communities (and in those who are trying to live spiritual lives) that there is a disconnect between money and spirituality. This is really unfortunate! There is often so much discomfort and negativity placed onto money amongst spiritual beings. I am passionate about helping people shift this! It's actually not the money that is bad at all. It's our reflection of what money is. But this is why I love it so much! Money shows us where we are resisting, refusing, pushing away or avoiding our shadow! If money makes you uncomfortable, that is a place within you that needs to be transformed and awakened. If it weren't for money, you would miss that spot of challenge, obstacle or suffering within your being! Unfortunately, rather than understanding that challenges and obstacles are something to lean into, most people turn away and then blame others, blame money, blame something or someone else. It seems easier. But the reality is that running from our discomfort does not help us awaken, transform and heal the shadow parts of ourselves. Challenges and discomfort around money are actually opportunities for growth! The confusion and obstacles that many people have about spirituality and money are also opportunities for deepening your connection to spirit, as well as this human existence we call life. We can not deny our humanness, nor push past our challenging human experiences while always running to the good stuff. This is spiritual by-passing at its core. If you are a light chaser, you better be in honest relationship with your shadow simultaneously. Otherwise you will not be a balanced, well-rounded human being. You will also be stunting your spiritual growth. There are many reasons to keep a balanced relationship with our light and dark parts, but in terms of manifestation this is vital. Honestly working with our discomfort, fears, anger, and the range of emotions that surface when we meet a challenge, are in fact resources for self-discovery and awakening. These are parts that require our diligence and effort in order to awaken and transform shadow into light. If you just push it away, it will in fact intensify and re-emerge with more strength and tenacity. When we refuse to address the challenging parts of ourselves, we are missing opportunities for growth and spiritual awakening. Essentially, obstacles and challenges are resources for change. For identifying parts of ourselves that need more attention, awareness and more light. If we feel challenged or have emotions that trigger us, that is a great place to look! Why are you challenged? What is the story under this emotion? What do you really need? Where are there safety and support issues emerging? It's also vital that we stay as close to the body as possible. If we disconnect from our physical body and are not embodied, we lose our ability to manifest and create desires and ideas into form. Remember that we do not manifest from thoughts, but from feelings. Feelings are inherent to the first and second chakras, the manifesting chakras. If we aren't in the body, we aren't able to feel deeply and therefore we are not able to manifest. This is why I am so adamant about embodiment resources as well as art therapy tools. They are the ultimate manifestation resources! In order to help you create a deeper relationship with money and move past any spiritual blockages that may be keeping you from manifesting money, I've made a special podcast to help you tap through the mental and emotional obstacles that may be blocking you. In the podcast below, I share a tapping (EFT) sequence with you that will guide you through transforming and releasing the old stories around money, while helping you awaken and receive new forms of nourishment. (I recorded this while hiking up a mountain, with snow crunching under my feet. Excuse the rough quality, but enjoy the information nonetheless!) Use this podcast as you tap through these points: Karate chop point (side of the hand). Crown of the head. Eyebrow point (above the eye). Side of the eye. Under the eye. Under the nose. Chin point (crease of the chin). Throat point (collar bone/throat chakra). Heart point (center of chest). Stomach point (above the navel). Side body (nipple line at side of chest). Tap six to ten times on each point and just keep cycling through the points. Repeat the phrases I use aloud or use words that best align with your own needs. Share your experiences below! What emerged for you in this process? Excited to hear from you! Want more support building your wealth now? Please join me for my special June workshop! Meditating with tapping is leading naturally to action. Action begets more action. Deeper into the role money plays in our lives while simultaneously pondering what changed the paradigm which was working to now flat-lined. It is proving to be a fascinating challenge.

I agree with you, Swati. "Money is a bad master and a good servant".
