Moon Mindfulness ::: Mind Your Moon
Moon in PurvaBhadrapada nakshatra in Aquarius, moving to Pisces with Mars at 19:33 CST. This puts Moon, Sun and Venus all in PurvaBhadrapada. Ruled by Jupiter and the deity Ajaikapada, this nakshatra has to do with tapas and penance. Meaning, clearing things out, purifying and doing without at times. Often we have to scale back, in order to scale up. We need both in order to find balance. In essence, less is more.
Right now, our soul and our creative selves are feeling the need to diet or even fast; today our mind and intuition takes us into this experience intimately and gives us an opportunity to see where we need to trim the fat. Right now, you may notice your self resisting spending urges, desiring a savings account, cutting out friendships and relationships that aren't serving you, and feeling broken to the point of screaming "uncle"! These urges may intensify as Sun and Venus move into Pisces later in the week.
Ajaikapada, a form of Shiva, stands on one foot, seemingly effortlessly, and shows us balance and functioning with less- dancing on one leg, instead of two. The symbol for PurvaBhadrapada is a funeral cot, but only the front legs of the cot. The latter half of the funeral cot comes next with UttarBhadrapada. Meaning, we are starting the descent into our endings, removing the ties that bind us, going in for a purification ritual. We are starting these ritual rights as of now. This ritual will find closure as the planets move deeper into Pisces. No need to rush this, it's a natural progressive cycle, but use this time wisely and with intention.
