Moon is Full on Thursday and begins its waning cycle for the remainder of the week. Moon passes through Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and into Capricorn this week. Mercury is retrograde as well as Saturn. Be mindful of your inner and outer communication. Put new systems in place for better overall communication- with others, with your life, with your self.
Monday, June 9th Moon transits Swati nakshatra in Libra today, sandwiched between a sandhi Rahu and a retrograde, weak, Saturn. Vayu enlivens movement today. Change, movement and strong currents are invited in as a result. With the storm energy (Rudra) in Libra, the Moon may trigger strong weather, and sudden rain storms (Venus/Ketu aspect). Carry an umbrella. These storms may be internal, so expect these sudden storm clouds to arrive with thunder and lightening. They will likely pass as quickly as they arrive. Note how and when the clouds emerge as the mental body will likely stir the inner pot. With Mercury retrograde right now, it look for connections to an issue or event from the past that triggers the feelings within you. The mental and emotional bodies may brood today. Get embodied. Find movement as a resource and attend to Vayu, the wind god, and your inner winds with breath work, pranayama, yoga and body work. Use my Saturn and Pelvis MP3 workshop recording for nurturing the themes of self support and self reliance today. Tuesday, June 10th Moon continues to pass through Libra, nearing Saturn today, and moves into Vishaka nakshatra at 06:47 am CDT. Indragni and Jupiter rule the day. As Moon nears exact conjunction with Saturn (at 13:29 CDT) expect emotional intensity, a swelling of heart matters and a need for digesting and assimilating- especially in regard to relationship matters. Yesterday's stormy weather prediction resurfaces today. Bring an umbrella and tend to your emotional storms. Today, seek comfort and nourishment, support and assistance, rather than isolation and loneliness. Find ways to get your needs met with self care, self expression, and extra comforts. Use creative resources to get you out of your emotional ruts. Remember that digging up the soil is necessary before you can plant the seeds. Use my Saturn and Pelvis MP3 workshop recording for nurturing the themes of self support and self reliance today. Wednesday, June 11th Moon moves into Scorpio just after midnight at 00:12 am CDT and moves into Anuradha nakshatra at 05:55 am CDT. As Moon moves into its sign of debilitation, the brooding from the previous days takes a heightened turn towards the inner realms. This is a necessary phase in the emotional transformation process, but diligence is required so we don't get stuck in the mire for too long. Use your turmoil for cultivating more awareness and introspection and don't get lost in details- that's where the overwhelm resides. Intuition will be heightened right now, so pay attention to your first responses and instincts. Listen carefully. The intense energy of the previous days begins to break up today, a good sign that movement is occurring. Use this as momentum for personal change. Connect with a special friend for extra support and nourishment. Thursday, June 12th Moon transits Scorpio, its sign of debilitation, and moves into its final tithi (Moon phase) of its waxing cycle in the wee hours of the morning. As Moon moves into Jyeshtha nakshatra at 04:23, Indra and Mercury are enlivened for our day and our full Moon. With Mercury retrograde, the theme of re-tracing past steps and experiences is activated, so expect a sense of Deja Vu today. There are awakenings tangible so keep your eyes open and your mind open to possibility as well. Indra brings with him a certain power and need for control. Extreme sensitivity is likely today and the senses may be overwhelmed easily as a result. Take precautions and find ways to self soothe and self care so that you don't get overwhelmed. Full Moon is today at 23:10 CDT. This full Moon brings with it a power and intensity that can provoke inner change. Capitalize on this and bring intention to what you are ushering in. What strength and power are you inviting in during the next cycle? As the Moon slowly empties, how can your bring this sense of bravery, courage and strength with you? How can this super sensitivity be a powerful tool for you in the coming weeks? Have you made your full Moon mandala yet? Here are some ideas. More on the full Moon and the upcoming waning Moon cycle in my Transit Report. Friday, June 13th Moon moves to Sagittarius and Mula nakshatra today at 02:22 am CDT as the Moon enters the first tithi (Moon phase) of the waning cycle. Uproot and unravel today. Dig up the dirt and churn your internal waters. Today is a day of disruption and attuning to the Laws of Nature. Expect some chaos and calamity as part of the parcel. Prepare for sudden changes and toxic people as well as explosive situations. Some duress is possible. The savior today is creativity and creation. Get into your process and let it consume you. The mental body will be pulling you out of center and pushing you into old storm clouds. The easiest way to step out of the landmines will be to get embodied. Get out of the mind and into the body. Late in the evening turn your heart and sorrows towards devotion. Remember your gratitude. Saturday, June 14th Moon moves to Purvashada nakshatra moments after the stroke of midnight. Apas, the water goddess and Venus are enlivened today. Cut, clear, restructure, reorganize, renegotiate your relationship contracts. They have all been in flux lately. Today, let some nourishment and depth cleanse, purify and nourish your felt senses. We are all cutting out those pieces and people that don't serve as supportive and reliable. Today may offer another level of awareness with this process. Right now, we get to practice really healthy and necessary boundaries, so if there are agitations, remind your self of what needs to shift. What is in your control? What can you say no to? What additional self care tools can you offer your self- even in the toughest moments? Make sure you create time for ritual, for sweating and moving the body and for tears today. Moon moves to Uttarashada nakshatra at 21:30 CDT. Expect some new perspective on your day and a "do good" mentality to take over. Sunday, June 15th Sun moves to Gemini just after midnight and joins a retrograde Mercury and sandhi (in the gap) Jupiter here. These three planets receive gaze (drishti) from Rahu. Wisdom and mental acuity sharpen in this coming Sun cycle. Get your ducks in a row and make high level plans. Avoid self doubt and self sabotage. Instead, step into your power and rise to the tasks at hand. Use the next four weeks of Sun in Gemini to tackle mental, creative and monetary goals with power and pizazz. No slacking, but don't overwhelm yourself with too many irons in the fire. Best practice is being very calculated and concrete about your to-do list. Check things off one by one. Moon transits Uttarashada nakshatra today and moves into Capricorn at 02:51 am CDT. Vishvadeva and Sun rule today. The Vishvadevas or "all gods" are essentially the Laws of Nature, or universal principles. They remind us of ethics, respect and other people's needs, as well as the crucial parts of life like joy, time, leadership and our connection to lineage and the ancestors. Stick to dharma today and be ethical in your actions. Attract what you want in life by being. Take the necessary action steps to call in what you want. Follow your dreams. Follow your visions. Moon is waning (Krishna Paksha) and transits Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and into Pisces this week. New Moon is on 3.1 at 2:00 am CST. New Moon will be in Aquarius and Satabisha nakshtatra with the Sun there as well. More on this below.
For a jyotish Moon-centered approach to your day, follow my daily Moon Mind posts via Face Book. Beyond having the New Moon occur, this is an extraordinary week planetarily in several ways. Venus changes signs and moves to Capricorn, Mercury goes direct, Saturn and Mars both begin their retrograde movements and we celebrate Shivaratri all in one week! We will feel these shifts both on the inner and outer levels of life, but the experience of Shivaratri requires an extra special pull towards the inner. Use this time to stop and get silent. New Moon in Satabisha Nakshatra in the wee hours of 3.1 reminds us to pay close attention to our health, be vigilant in attending to the needs of the Self- with compassion, devotion and a certain conviction. Keep this focus on the Self, rather than projecting on others, which can lead to criticism and harsh judgments. Moon and Sun in Aquarius and Satabisha receive drishti from both Jupiter and Rahu. Though Jupiter's benevolence usually trumps all, he is currently transiting Ardra nakshatra which is ruled by Rahu. Additionally, Satabisha is ruled by Rahu and Rahu itself is currently transits Swati nakshatra- also ruled by Rahu. In other words, there's four levels of Rahu's influence on this placement. Rahu brings cravings, shadowed thinking and misconceptions. On the flip side, he can bring worldly gains, momentum and monetary wealth. The coming weeks will show themselves to be a bit of both. Pay special attention to overuse of alcohol, intoxicants and drugs, overworking, being overly competitive and excessively forceful. This is a time that can offer us what is "not best practice" in our behaviors and patterns, in order for us to correct and re-direct towards more harmonious options and choices. Look for ways to get support and needs met in more sustainable, life supporting ways. Venus moves to Capricorn on 02.25 at 23:57 CST where it joins retrograde Mercury there and also a sandhi Moon there at that same time. With the drishti of Mars on these planets, sparks fly and mental creativity is at an all time high. Use the coming weeks to shine- just don't burn your Self out!! Best practice at this time will be to follow the orders of Saturn (slow and steady wins the race and mind your routine/Self care practices), stay in tune with the Laws of Nature and ethics for best results. Act on dharmic endeavors. Make your dreams come alive with action steps. Shivaratri begins on the eve of the 26th here in the USA (13th tithi) and continues through the 14th tithi (Chaturdashi) on the 27th, followed by the culmination of the waning cycle (15th tithi) on the 28th and a climax of the New Moon during the wee hours of the 1st. This is a marking of time that is profoundly connected to inner silence and stillness. It is within the stillness (the Absolute) that all creativity and the potential for creation exists. Shiva brings this silent potential to us before the fertility of Holi (on 3.17) and the expansive growth of Mother Divine (Vasant Navaratri or the Nine Days of Mother Divine beginning on 3.31) awakens the abundance of nature within us and around us. A special New Moon, this is one that Shiva resides over; one that marks the beginning of a new cycle. He offers protection and wisdom to us and reminds us of the spectrum of life which includes both death, chaos, and change, as well as eternal freedom and enlightenment. From this "death", comes life, re-birth and new growth. There is a certain depth possible at this time that can be powerful and potent for one's personal growth. Meditation is essential at this time. Honoring Lord Shiva at your altar with prayers, offerings and chanting will bring him near. Carve out sacred time to be with him- in your silence, meditation and introspection. In addition to Shivaratri, Mercury goes direct early in the morning on the 28th. Mercury marches forward now and we may feel that momentum, however, Jupiter is still retrograde (until 3.6) and the week closes with two of the other major planets going retrograde- Saturn and Mars. Though retrograde Mercury doesn't bring the calamities most like to blame him for (Read more about Mercury Retrograde here), Saturn and Mars will offer some of their own challenges. Currently Saturn and Mars are in Libra with Rahu there as well. If you've been keeping up with the transits (or my articles), this combination is a powerful storm of sorts. All three of these planets are moving a lot this year and since they are each associated with action, together they point to big change, big momentum, big movement. Saturn goes retrograde on 3.2 and dances "backward" until 7.20. Saturn is considered exalted in Libra, however, when an exalted planet (uccha) goes retrograde, it is considered debilitated (uccha banga). Debilitated Saturn can effect our physical well being, might cause us to push too hard, overwork, over strain. There can be health issues if we don't follow his requests (Ayurvedic principles are an excellent resource for "being in tune with Saturn"). As Shiva is connected to Saturn, see if this time of Shivaratri can offer you some insights that may have otherwise been missed. You will have to turn towards the silence in order to hear them though. This is a good time to prune, cut back on the unnecessary, and look for energy leaks in your life. Get simple. To read more about this transit of Saturn, revisit my Saturn and Rahu in Libra articles. Mars and his unique movements between Virgo and Libra this year get a jump start on 3.1 as he goes retrograde. He barely entered Libra and is just over the three degree mark, yet is now starting his movement back towards Virgo. The planet of action is requesting that we re-collect ourselves and take action wisely. I discuss this odd waltz of his in my Mars article. For increased awareness, utilize my jyotish inspired Body-centered Expressive Art Therapy articles. Each week I post a new Creative Engagement Activity to help inspire your own unique creative process, Self-tracking, and to enrich your cultivation of presence. Revisit my past articles for inspiration. It is a big year with multiple {major} planetary changes. We will experience the changes of Jupiter, Rahu and Ketu, Saturn and unusual movements of Mars all in the next eleven months. Big changes are in store for each of us! Feeling uncertain about your action steps? What needs to change in order for growth? What kind of support you need? Schedule a yearly progression with me in order to make your New Year a truly transformational year. I have two sessions still available for the end of March. I am taking a short pause this week with an intention of more listening and receiving; aspiring to cultivate a "less is more" approach with extra rest, more attention to my needs and to Saturn mixed with some very intense work. Horoscopes will resume shortly. Thank you! Moon waxing and transits Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces and into Aries. Full Moon on 9.19 at 06:13 CDT. Full Moon is in Pisces in PurvaBhadrapada nakshatra. Key words for the Full Moon and waning cycle ahead: tapas, purification, Shiva, creative movement, changes and shifts, balancing act, endings, renewal. Just in time for fall equinox on 9.22.
The moon has become a dancer at this festival of love. ~Rumi The week starts with Sun sandhi (in the gap) moving into Virgo at 13:08 CDT on 9.16, joining exalted Mercury there. Watch for heated thoughts, spiced mental activity and acuity as well as mental growth. It's the tight conjunction of Rahu, Saturn and Venus in Libra that is causing a lot of changes, calamities, wild swings between extremes and a dance of balance- literally. This week Rahu and Saturn are within a degree a part and Venus crosses Saturn directly on 9.18. The pressure and storms of Rudra are increasing. Storm season is in full effect- especially with water and its natural movement. Rahu and Saturn's conjunction in Libra with Venus (who is jala/water) are connected to Rudra- the storm god. All three planets are also in Swati nakshatra (ruled by the wind god Vayu and planet Rahu), creating storms, movement with water and ultimately intense house cleaning. With Mars still debilitated in the water sign of Cancer (and aspecting Libra), this heightens issues with water. Ketu is also in Bharani nakshatra ruled by Venus- so a lot of water is present in the planets right now; water that is ultimately clearing and purifying. The winds of Vayu can disrupt Vata dosha. There is a tendency towards constipation, gas, pranic disturbances, water retention etc. as well as issues with reproductive and digestive organs. Be especially conscious of your consumption of drugs, alcohol, excess sugar and stimulants right now. All of this water element present in the planets may be quite uncomfortable, so have a life vest handy. We are witnessing Nature express these storms (Rudra) externally through rains/flooding in CO etc. But on the internal landscape, many of us are feeling the emotional weather effects as well. Water and emotions are one and the same so one can predict clouds, floods, rains, thunder and lightening internally also. As my mentor put it "the Saturn/Rahu/Venus conjunction is creating a stellar opportunity to face demons [rakshasas]...the strong winds are cracking stuff loose in the most positive way and Lakshmi's broom is sweeping it away." We can see that this is necessary movement and change (albeit uncomfortable), clearing and cleaning- both internally and externally. This is a time to use your sharpest, most effective tools. Yagyas, energy work, meditation, good routine, dance/yoga, appeasing Saturn, creating with art etc. will all go a long way to help you weather the storms. If we can see the cleansing as positive and ultimately useful, it will help transform our attitude towards the effects, but don't be complacent. Water = creativity/creation energy. This week: Turn on your faucet and create, create, create!! Tap into your creative impulses and uncap the emotional/mental/physical storms through my Jyoti/Expressive Art Therapy Creative Engagement Activities. Creative Engagement Activity for the week of 9.16. *Horoscopes are based on your Vedic rising sign. You can also check your Moon and Sun signs for further insight. Do the same with your Navamsa signs for further clarity. Do not use these horoscopes with your “Western Sign” as there is likely no correlation. These horoscopes are meant to be used as a broad overview of the current transits and obviously do not address the specifics of an individual’s unique chart. Aries: A circle is closing this week. Maybe some healing you didn't even know you needed will help bring clarity and insights. Business is booming, just remember not all of your relationships are business related. Remember your soft side and let your guard down sometimes. Shift out of neutral and/or overdrive and put it into reverse. Temper greed and bad habits. Taurus: Work on healing and restoring balance with friendships and enemies. Pay attention to your gut and digestion. Insights will come from the unknown- spend time alone for deeper awareness. Brave emotional work is necessary at this time. Gain comfort from high level conversation. Belly massage can be helpful. Gemini: Your job is growth and expansion, opening to new possibilities and ideas. Using the emotional discomfort for creative activation is crucial, though likely you are experiencing stomach upset and acid reflux from it. Trust this transformational process, but ask gurus, guides, and teachers for support and get wisdom from higher knowledge. Doors from the past are opening. Cancer: The rivers and currents are moving and flowing within. Structures, patterns and shapes are shifting, causing change. Do you move with the tides or are you resisting? Transformation will be easier if you build a life raft and float with the water. Notice where you have built dams. This week is about release and letting go- from your depths. Leo: Seek royal comforts and communication with the hidden and unknown realms. New insights come from gurus, guides and higher knowledge. Courageous creation and excavation of the emotional currents is necessary for progress. Get a foot massage. Virgo: Your soul is emerging this week out of darkness and the Sun begins a new cycle for you. You attract more light now, but shining this light into the dark places is both valuable and important. Relationships are giving comfort and cravings as well as confusion and disruption. Your efforts and work are best spent on you and your growth. Bring awareness to your desires and cravings. Libra: You are feeling the pressure head on. Bad relationship habits, struggles with food and toxic behaviors may be surfacing. This is a time to reach out for support from trusted sources- don't go at it alone. Issues from the past are coming to light and the process is likely uncomfortable. Remember, all you have to lose is your ego. Get a head massage and mind your gut. Scorpio: Old, outworn patterns are ending. Support from unknown realms and mystics arrive. Soul excavation and exorcism are top priority for necessary change. Who and what is invited to stay? Who and what is being forced to leave? Gains from friends, older siblings and career desires are possible. Sagittarius: Emotional depths are moving you and cause discomfort. It takes courage to surrender to the currents. Some old desires are strong. Be courageous in tending and attending to them. Self care is non-negotiable. Put your health and well being first even if career demands your full focus. You are all you've got. Capricorn: Changes and movement are strong in your house of career. There may be some comfort and support, though likely you don't feel like you can trust it. Part of you is reaching a boiling point- are you overdoing it as usual? Stop. Drop. And roll. Communicating your needs effectively will go a long way with relationships. Protect your knees and stay flexible. Aquarius: Communicate with other realms- outer and inner. Courageously work with the unknown. Ask for help with your dharma. Communicate your needs more effectively with gurus, teachers and father. Tackle bad habits related to lack of emotional perception. Don't try to philosophize your way out- feel your way out instead. Pisces: The portals of the past are flung wide open. Support may feel unavailable or unreliable. There is some unmasking work to do around your many personas. Remember, your work does not define who you are. Do you know who you are without all the labels? This requires a new level of expression and way of relating to others. Strip off the old. Horoscopes for the Week of 9.2 :::
Moon transits through Cancer, Leo, Virgo and into Libra this week. Moon is in its own sign of Cancer on 9.2 & 9.3 but will be with debilitated Mars there. Expect fatigue, exasperation and emotions running hot; get extra rest. Mars in Cancer should be considered a rest cycle, treat it accordingly until early October. Next week will bring a bit of relief to emotions and efforts as Moon breaks up the placement of Kala Sarpa Yoga (all planets placed between Rahu and Ketu) that has been going on for weeks. For now, take small steps, don't push too hard, strive to achieve "less is more." New Moon on 9.5 in Leo at 6:37 CDT. Moon will be in Purvaphalguni Nakshatra. The focus is on relationships, the feminine (including divine feminine), creativity, passion and all things related to Venus. There is vulnerability with this new moon so be careful with the aforementioned indications as well as with travel and cars/driving, at this time. This is an exciting and intense week for the planets. Saturn and Rahu are working their way to conjunction in the upcoming weeks and we are already feeling the pressure of these two powerful planets getting closer in degrees. [For more awareness about this transit, visit my previous articles about Saturn and Rahu in Libra.] We also have two planets changing signs on 9.5, the same day as the New Moon. Venus moves to its own sign of Libra (joining Saturn and Rahu there) and Mercury moves to its sign of exaltation, Virgo, as well. Both are in deep sandhi (in the gap between signs) at the time of the New Moon and are thus vulnerable. This week in general is a time of caution- especially from 9.4 to 9.7 when both Venus and Mercury are weak. Unlike some of the other prevalent predictions circulating, I don't see the coming weeks with rose-colored glasses. Yes, Mercury and Venus moving to new houses improves things on several levels. For one, Mercury and Sun will no longer be hemmed in by debilitated Mars and Venus. Secondly, both Mercury and Venus move to houses that will be vast improvements from the last. So yes, there is a trend of improvement. Some will even experience worldly advancements with the heightened influences of Rahu happening, but for the most part, vulnerability still abounds- especially in regard to all things Venus. Debilitated Mars will still be aspecting Rahu and Saturn, but will impact Venus now directly. There will be drishti from the benefic Jupiter on these three planets in Libra (and thankfully Jupiter has moved into Punarvasu nakshatra now, ruled by Jupiter and the deity Aditi, the "Mother of all Goodness"), but for the most part, Rahu is giving us a taste of his insatiable appetite for the worldly. Due to the nakshatras, Rahu, Venus and Mars are highly activated. Temper the cravings, heat and storms, as well as issues with "other" and relationships, through meditation, creative pursuits, seva and deep introspection. Don't fall off the wagon too hard. *The above photo was shared by K.H in response to last week's Creative Engagement Exercise offered in my horoscope post. She wrote: "...As I eased my way into it, I felt my body become light and move solely from heart center, as if every movement that came forth contained a string attached back to the heart. Strings. So many strings. Reaching out, reaching back in. Expansion. Contraction. Always finding a dynamic balance. If my drawing could speak, it would tell me...Let your Heart Beat with the Universe." Thank you for sharing your experience K.H.! If you would like to share your CE work, please email me. Creative Engagement Activity for the week of 9.2 ::: As we bring in the New Moon this week, our energy is restarting anew as well. During the dark half, our energy and focus wanes, and as the Moon begins to brighten, so does our energy and outer focus. This week we will work with the Pelvis, the creative energy center, and in body metaphor practices, the place where we connect with fertility, reproduction, our creative potential, and activation of life. The pelvic bones connect us to our spine and upper and lower body and they house the reproductive organs. Venus is also associated to the pelvis. Start with a gentle pulse. Stand feet hip width a part, bend the knees and find a bounce. Do this until you can drop everything else and you find the release and relaxation. Take this into a pelvis dance. Swing your tail, undulate your hips, lift our legs, rock back and forth. Find movements that feel supportive, soft, grounding, opposites. Notice how the pelvis connects the lower and the upper halves of the body and is a crucial link for movement of each. Take at least 30 minutes for this dance. Come to your drawing pad and draw a large circle. Inside your circle create a New Moon Mandala. When you are finished, complete this sentence: "For this new moon cycle, I am creating". Aries: Continue to look for resources and be solution-oriented. You are your own worst enemy, so seek alliances and teams that bring support and nurturing and be alert to what is doing the opposite- not serving you. Focus on children, education, wealth building activities, relationships, creativity and courage. Watch the anger button and start to catch the heat before you boil. Taurus: It takes great courage to heal and be healed. Use this time for growth on the inner level. Home space is a metaphor for the temple, as body is the temple to the soul. Make home and heart a sanctuary in order to thrive. Create a healing oasis physically and metaphorically. Use this time to be nurtured and to nurture. Find the Seva here. Gemini: Creative and passionate exaltation is rising in you like a golden sun. This week begins a good round for you, but I challenge you to find balance amidst all the creative storms. Diving deep within is your golden ticket to sanity and will bring the ultimate rewards. The inner will help you find the outer offerings. Be alert. I wonder if you'll be able to sit still long enough to meditate or if you'll be too busy hob-nobbing at the cocktail party? Make time for both. Cancer: It is a time of working on the balance of inner and outer, quiet manifestation and clear, focused action, the outer experience of life vs. the inner, quieter realms. Courage to speak these hidden gems and share them with others is mounting. Perhaps sharing more of your spirit, your soul, with the outer world, can help you create more balance on the inner? Are you willing to take the risks necessary to find out? Leo: Unlike the other signs, you are in a dynamic place and can't help your self for making strides. Remember though that outer depends on inner, so external actions need to be in harmony with the inner guidance system. Creativity comes into focus and financial comforts take an upswing these coming weeks. These will likely be connected to friends and acquaintances, so make hay while the sun shines and get off the metaphoric couch. Virgo: Some mental ease is settling in, but minding your gut is essential. Especially watch for constipation. It will take courage for you to shine in the coming weeks- part of you is feeling very alone and isolated. Don't push too hard. Your soul is in a rest cycle, but you can still shine internally. Comfort may feel fleeting and volatile. Use positive affirmations to will away the negative self-talk. Affirm the good and find resources. Libra: Friends and gains bring more support over the next few weeks. Listen to good advice from others and gain from acquiring new skills and resources. You become a whirlwind of creativity and connections over the next few weeks, so "make it work" as Tim Gunn would say. Just remember that team work requires someone to step up and "be the bigger one" sometimes. Scorpio: Right now is a time of drawing back the arrow. It may feel as though your efforts are going into a bottomless pit and will never resurface. Continue to methodically build the empire. It's not quite time to let your arrows go, but keep holding the target in your mind. This week, slow and steady will help you win the race. Sagittarius: All you want is time for your self, but instead you are being forced to deal with others. Here it is, an opportunity disguised as another annoyance, a distraction, a worldly projection. There are gains to be had right now on the outer level so don't neglect conscious action. Learn from everything. Use everything as a metaphor, a mirror to the Self. Capricorn: Your response to relationships, the "other", continue to bring emotional disturbances and discomfort despite your efforts. Don't worry, it's about to all make a lot more sense in the coming weeks. Use this time to spread your wings and catch a breeze. Use what you've been learning to take some emotional risks. Your soul is going through deep transformation. The rest of you will catch up shortly. Aquarius: With four planets aspecting your first house, you may be feeling like the universe is giving you mixed messages. Others are seeing you as a shining light, a beacon, which is very attractive. Find "best practice" in your teaching and advisory roles, your relationships and with knowledge and wisdom from gurus and teachers. The coming weeks will be an excellent time for deep thoughts, make time for them with presence. Pisces: Some things will begin to make more sense now. Relationship transformations heighten in the coming weeks as your awareness heightens. Expect a lot of talking to happen- make it "high level" conversation. Your wisdom is coming from your gut, so don't neglect digestion, and gut reactions. Teach and advise, heal and be healed. Seva is key. Monday 8.26 Moon has crossed over Ketu, as both are in Aries. Moon is receiving drishti from both Saturn and Rahu. Moon is transiting Bharani nakshatra today, ruled by Venus and Lord Yama. Yama has to do with self-restraint, restrictions, death and transformations as well as that which is dharmic. Death is dharmic and Yama enforces the judgments at the end of one's life. There's no escaping his decisions nor the transformations of the death and dying process. Today, we may feel relationships and excesses are dying out, or causing us duress on some level. Vehicles, passion, creativity, the feminine, finances etc. can bring us issues as well as emotions. Note that this is likely due to some imbalance with these areas of our life. As Moon moves to the 7th tithi today at 14:05 CDT, there will be a greater influence of Saturn on the day. This will maximize any pressure, anxiety or stress we may be feeling. Watch for anger and aggression. Take a walk, have a cup of tea in silence, meditate, create art. Make your lists and dream today, even if it feels impossible or too far out of reach. *Horoscopes for the week of 8.26 will be out later today. Sign up for my weekly newsletter here. |
