This Week's Intention: Unfurl your wings and stretch them wide. Find ways to broaden and expand your reach. Moon continues to swell and wax as our inner waters amplify with the rising tides. Past the half way mark of the lunar cycle now, Moon moves into the tenth tithi (phase) on Monday. Mercury is now exalted in Virgo, conjunct Rahu. Are you feeling the increase in communication, connection and creativity yet? Sun and Jupiter continue to track each other closely this week. Watch for soul burn and move towards the light. Venus and Mars are also closely conjunct this week in Cancer. Feel your heart wisdom, even if it hurts. The week begins with a debilitated Moon in Scorpio, leaving conjunction with Saturn. Indra rules the day until Moon jumps into Sagittarius and Mula nakshatra Monday afternoon. The day of Moon (Monday) requires that we tend to our sensitivity as well as our senses. Are you being ruled by your wild horses or are you holding the reigns? Once Moon enters Mula nakshatra, attending to our inner wisdom is of the utmost importance. Jupiter's gaze offers extra nourishment and support but Mula's ruling deity, Nirrti, arrives with her chaos, sudden change and calamity. Her dark forces can keep us from aligning with our path and purpose as she is adharmic in nature. Are you seeking resources to align with your higher purpose? Are you a part of the chaos or able to stand in the center of the storm? Resource from the wisdom of the physical body. It's the only thing that will bring you back to the now. Tuesday, Nirrti and her sharp, cutting nature, continue to rule the first part of the day. Underneath her darkness, depth and spirituality can be accessed. Can you feel the other option, or are you caught in the challenge? Just after noon, Moon shifts to a fierce and severe nakshatra, PurvaAshada, and its ruling deity, Apas, brings another type of force with her. Today is yet another opportunity for change and transformation but this one comes with water and arrives through deep cleansing. Let water assist you with this process. Get into water, walk near it, allow the rain- in the form of tears if not from Nature herself. Jupiter and Sun are in exact conjunction. Cleanse your heart and soul! Let wisdom and truth be your power source! Ready to take your creative potential and turn it into a life of thriving?! Don't miss my online Creativity + Embodiment Immersion. Get the Details. Just before noon on Wednesday, Moon shifts to the latter half of the Ashada constellation, UttaraAshada. This star is fixed and stable, allowing nourishing sustainable activities to take hold. The Vishva Devas provide their universal goodness and help us align with the Laws of Nature in dynamic and powerful ways. Align with dharma, truth and positivity. Use gratitude to soften the heart. Shine, share and be seen for your purity and do good deeds. Early evening, Moon jumps to the hard working and tenacious, Capricorn. Saturn, Rahu, Mars and Venus give their gaze to the soft and tender Moon. Allow time to land and be with your feeling body. Work to soften your hard edges over the next few days. Early Thursday morning, Moon moves to a sacred constellation that is gently tucked in between UttaraAshada and Sravana nakshatra. This little known 28th nakshatra is called Abhijit and only covers about four degrees. This is a good time for prayer, meditation, setting intentions and being close to spirit. This time period will be from about 04:30 to 10:30, just before Moon shifts to Sravana nakshatra. Sravana nakshatra and its ruling deity, Vishnu, helps us align with the expansive forces of the universe. His purpose is to move us towards dharma and help us hear the wisdom being whispered in our ear from heaven, to the cosmos and back to earth. Listen carefully today and let your desires be known. Align your steps with life purpose and inner power. Jupiter and Sun are still tightly conjunct. Tend to your inner wisdom and let the power of the Sun burn away the impurities within you. If you're feeling the discomfort, open and awaken through gratitude and keep your body cool with Pitta pacifying foods and actions. Midmorning Friday, Moon shifts to Dhanishta nakshatra and the Vasu Devas bring us increased light or Jyoti. Sharing from your heart will prove the most valuable resource today. Be soft, focused and let the power of your heart wisdom be your spokesperson. Align and shine! Express, share and give your positive message to the world. What words of wisdom can you offer your tribe? Early evening Moon shifts to Saturn's other sign, Aquarius, where it receives the hot gaze Jupiter, Sun and Mars. Moon also moves into the 15th and final tithi (phase) at this time. Stay focused but don't get burned out or fried in the process. Are you pushing too hard? As Mercury closely conjuncts Rahu the mental body also intensifies. Shadow or strength? Illusion or awakening? The mental and emotional bodies are extra powerful right now- watch how you use them. Before sunrise on Saturday, Moon arrives into Satabisha nakshatra, Varuna's domain. Our health and wellness becomes a top priority during this high tide time. Full Moon is Saturday, August 29th at 11:34 Pacific Time. Moon is in Aquarius and Satabisha Nakshatra. Healing arrives with this full Moon, yet comes with a certain edge and harshness simultaneously. Satabisha nakshatra is ruled by Varuna, the guardian of Natural Law and right action. Nothing gets past his thousands of eyes that see everything. Satabisha can help us work with boundaries and our resistance. What is your relationship with inner and outer boundaries- physical and energetic? Let this full Moon be one of intentional healing- especially for the mental body. Get resourced, nourished and attend to self care diligently. Use this wisdom to guide you through the coming waning cycle. Attend and attune to sacred healing. Want the extended version of my New Moon Wisdom? Attend to your mental body and be diligent with its stories, messages, memories and imaginal realms. Are you feeding it or aligning with its magical support? Using its amplification for change and healing or letting it run wild with you through illusion and delusion? Self track and get on top of it. In the early hours of Sunday morning, Moon arrives in the light and graceful nakshatra, Purvabhadra. Ajaikapada is the ruling deity, who helps us balance seemingly impossible tasks with ease and steadiness. Often he is referred to as a form of Shiva, Lord of the Dance. He steps between worlds, realms and dimensions, sharing depth, strength and purpose when he arrives. Let the wisdom come too, but let it enter from the body. What can your body-mind tell you about grounding and landing in the now? Before you jump forward, into the next cycle, day or moment, stop here, be present, be in the now. Use your feet to help you land and find your anchor. Moon shifts to Pisces early evening, joining Ketu. Both receive the intense mental body gaze of Mercury and Rahu. Find your release, letting go and deepen your surrender. Mars and Venus are closely conjunct right now. Soften to your heart wisdom and allow deep release. Tears and emotional body waves are a necessary part of this process. Let them out. Just before midnight, Moon shifts to the latter half of the Bhadrapada constellation, Uttarabhadra. Ruling deity, Ahirbudhnya, serpent of the netherworlds, helps us access our hidden, inner wisdom. It's there, can you find it? It's the hidden, dark and mysterious kind. It will come in flashes- suddenly provoking insight and shifts in perception. If your third eye is closed, you'll miss it. Let Monday continue to offer its awakening support. Keep looking and you'll find what you are seeking. *Timing used is Pacific Standard Time Zone. Ready to take your creative potential and turn it into a life of thriving?! The Moon swells and expands this week, asking us to respond to her increased flow. The most powerful full Moon of the year occurs late in the week and Saturn goes direct after four and half months of retrograde motion. Let out the exhale and find your release. Monday is influenced by Mercury as the Moon moves through Jyeshtha nakshatra, Indras constellation. With Moon transiting its debilitation sign, Scorpio and in Jyeshtha, extreme sensitivity and overwhelm can occur easily. The sensorial level of our being is easily impacted as well as the mental and emotional bodies. The mental body is extra sensitive right now in general- as Mercury and Sun are combust with Ketu's gaze. Frazzled and fried? What can you do to turn down the heat and defrag the system? Hint: Less is more. Remove anything unnecessary from your plate. August Jyotish Basics classes are open for enrollment. Early Bird price + special free gift is available for 48 hours only! Get the Details. Just as Tuesday begins, Moon jumps into Sagittarius and Mula nakshatra. Nirrti, the dark goddess, arrives with her upheaval and removal tactics. Mars and Jupiter give their gaze, offering some clarity and tenacity to an otherwise delicate time. Can you get focused and clear? Aim high and meet your mark. Stay out of the chaos and overwhelm by landing and grounding as much as possible in the physical body. This will take courage but try to land on your feet. Mars moves to the edge of Gemini and is sandhi (in the gap). Soften your action steps and relax the mind. Meditation is an excellent use of your time today. PurvaAshada nakshatra starts the day on Wednesday, sharing the powerful flow of Apas and her watery ways. Her strength can be a blessing or an overwhelming inundation. If you've been feeling the pressure, it's time to open the floodgates and find the release valve. This may come with emotions and tears, but let them flow and cleanse you. Mercury begins to separate from close conjunction with the Sun and our mind begins to get some relief as well. Feeling the frustration still? Mars is at the edge of Gemini, still tickling our mental body with red and reaction. What is underneath the agitation? Find the need and see what action steps need to be taken for greater ease. Today, uproot and pull up old, inner weeds. Just before midnight, Moon shifts to UttaraAshada. Registration for August Jyotish Basics classes is closing on Friday, July 31st! Don't miss out on a month of support with your personal growth, healing and transformation. Get the Details. Day of the guru, Jupiter, arrives as Moon transits UttaraAshada. As Thursday arrives, Moon moves to Capricorn mid-morning, receiving drishti (gaze) from five planets simultaneously. Sun, Mercury, Mars, Rahu and Saturn offer a recipe for overwhelm and intensity, yet the Vishvadevas offer their support through resources and aligning with our truth. Look for flashes of insights and awareness regarding your gifts and inner wisdom. Listen carefully and align with your highest knowing. Trust your inner light to guide you. Catch yourself in the emotional extremism before you go down the rabbit hole. What do you need to do in order to ground and land in your body more fully? As the waxing Moon peaks, another planetary shift occurs. Mars moves to its debilitation sign, Cancer, joining Mercury and Sun here. On July 30th at 13:14, the warrior, fire planet moves to the watery and emotive sign of Cancer and will be here until mid September. These two forces naturally oppose each other as Mars is reactive and action oriented and Cancer is connected to feelings and the emotional body. Mars is not a thinker or a feeler, he is a doer. Conflicts between thoughts, feelings and actions occur in this cycle, however there is opportunity to bring light and greater awareness to our heart wisdom. If you feel irritation and anger, it's time to dig deeper. What are the needs underneath the outbursts? What expression needs to be released, rather than repressed? How can you tend to your emotional body wisdom with greater compassion and clarity? Ask yourself "Where am I pushing too hard?" Matters with home, heart, mother, land and property feel the extra level of fire and complexity right now. Be gentle and soften your heart wherever possible. Find ways to balance your action and non-action, as there may be confusion with how to move forward in this cycle with rest and activity. For those with prominent placements or strong influences of Mars in your chart, this is somewhat of a rest cycle for you. Pushing too hard will be counterproductive. Make your heart and home the priority. Moon is in the 15th tithi (purnima) and final phase of the waxing cycle as of the morning of July 30th. However, the fullest part of the Moon is not until Friday early in the morning. Late afternoon into late evening, Moon passes through the most sacred nakshatra of all, the little known 28th nakshatra, Abhijit. The domain of Abhijit is in between UttaraAshada and Sravana nakshatra- from 6 degrees 40 to 10 degrees 53. Use this time for meditation and sharing your intentions with the universe. As Moon shifts to Sravana late in the evening a more expansive sacredness arrives. Align with your intentions and seek clarity with your path. I'll be offering a free Creative Ritual web class for Guru Purnima. Make sure you're on the list. Friday begins with a sense of auspiciousness as Moon transits Sravana nakshatra. The fullest full Moon of the Vedic calendar, called Guru Purnima, is dedicated to gurus, teachers and honoring our spiritual lineage. The exact time of the full Moon is 03:42 am Pacific Time, while Moon is in Capricorn and Sravana nakshatra. This is the second full Moon of July and a powerful time to align with deep intention, sacredness and dharma. Attend to the wisdom within, honor your teachers and lineage, while using ritual to solidify your intentions. How can you clarify your path and commit to your purpose more fully? Sravana is Vishnu's constellation and he brings an expansiveness that can be transcendental and awakening. Vishnu's purpose is to uphold dharma, which he does through sound. Open your mind and see what you find. Root through the feet and let your body wisdom help you listen. Late evening, Moon shifts into Dhanishta nakshatra and the Vasu Devas come out to shine. Saturday is the day of Saturn, but Moon moves through a Mars ruled constellation, Dhanishta. Moon shifts to Aquarius mid morning, a sign ruled by both Saturn and Rahu and gives a nod to the 11th house of gains and friendships. Moon receives gaze from Jupiter and Venus as well as Mars. Passion, anyone? There is also a certain bright and shining light shared with this nakshatra. Natives often have a very distinct glow which is a gift from the Vasu Devas. They support our ability to be seen, noticed and wealthy- through our action steps. They bring the jyoti, the light and love us to align and activate dharma. Take an action step towards your dharma today that will make the Vasu Devas proud! Let your heart wisdom and emotional body guide you. Moon shifts to Satabisha nakshatra early evening. Just before 22:00, Saturn goes direct. I'll be doing cartwheels!! What about you?! This ends over four months of slow, intensified returns that have kicked up grief, sadness, loss and fears. Let out your breath, sigh with relief, notice where you've been holding on and seek release. Structure, focus, movement and stability begin to move in a forward direction. Find a new dance, step wisely, acknowledge your path and the road you have traveled. Find a place within where you can cultivate some new joy. Read more about Saturn in Scorpio. Sunday is ruled by Rahu and Varuna as the Moon transits through Satabisha nakshatra. Moon is waning and enters the 3rd tithi today, called tritiya, a Vishnu ruled Moon phase. Satabhisha and Varuna guard Natural Law, the laws of the universe. Nothing gets past Varuna's gaze and scrutiny. There is a certain healing and sacredness with this nakshatra, as well as harshness and an intensified critic. Can you dance with the devil but find your own drum beat? Moon shifts to the first half of Bhadrapada late afternoon. Keep dancing, even if it feels impossible. Let Ajaikapada help you balance overwhelm, uncertainty and upheaval. Stomp and kick up some dust. Count your steps and work your way through Monday with PurvaBhadrapada and Lord of the Dance. *Pacific Time Zone is used for all planetary timing. but stay grounded and embodied in the process. It's a full Moon week ahead! Tides are high and feelings are amplified. Stay grounded in the physical body and take careful steps. Monday, the week begins with a debilitated Moon in Scorpio while in the friendly star of Anuradha. Details, details, details! Don't get lost in the minute intricacies or you will lose the ability to see the big picture. Connect with friends and do something to help sustain old friendships and relationships. Don't be nit picky! As Moon shifts to Jyeshta, sensitivities increase. Stay calm and be inward. Tuesday continues our connection to Jyeshta and Indra, who offers sensorial delights or overwhelm, depending on how grounded we are. What can you do to land back in your body? As Moon leaps into Sagittarius late in the day, the dark goddess, Nirrti, brings a sudden shifts and changes connected to releasing and letting go. What are you gripping and holding too tightly? Where can you find more release and letting go? Nirrti continues to stir themes of chaos and transformation throughout Wednesday, helping us to let go of our deep attachments. Not sure if you are resisting change? Look for the chaos! She is forcing you to let go and find a deep release where you are holding on too tightly. Let it go, let it flow. As Moon shifts to PurvaAshada late in the day, the full Moon arrives and our inner tides swell, helping us find emotional body release through tears and intense feelings. Let it out. Full Moon, Wednesday, July 1st 21:18 CDT while Moon is in Sagittarius and PurvaAshada Nakshatra. Multiple planets are poised for change as Moon transits Jupiter’s sign, Sagittarius, during the full Moon. Feelings and the emotional body are strong as our inner tides swell with intensity. There is a desperate search for answers, solutions and resolution at this time, yet a profound sense of support can be felt if you are receptive enough to receive the messages. Keep moving towards the nourishment and grounding. Ask for ease and graceful steps. As you tap into your sensitivity, take stock of your need for connection, relationship and love. It’s important to be clear on how your relationships serve you and also which one’s may need to be let go. This cycle will help you clarify and release those that are harmful, while helping you attract what you do need for increased support and well being. Trust your emotional body to share its messages with you. If it doesn’t feel nourishing, there’s a reason. Listen carefully. The water goddess who rules over PurvaAshada, Apas, insures deep feelings and movement of our inner waters at the time of the full Moon and during this waning cycle. As we let the tears out, a certain cleansing and purification is found, rejuvenating the physical, mental and emotional bodies. Water is a powerful cleaning and clearing force so attend vigilantly to your inner waters and tide pools. Allow yourself to spend plenty of time in and around water during the full Moon, and in the coming cycle so that you can maximize the effects of Apas and her rejuvenating gifts. Do you want more astrological details about the Moon and the coming waxing cycle? Use my 2015 Moon Wisdom Calendar to track the powerful cosmic themes ahead. Part 2 is here!! Track the Moon Late afternoon Thursday, the Moon moves to the latter half of the Ashada constellation, UttaraAshada, the domain of the Vishva Devas and then enters Capricorn late in the evening. Multiple gazes effect the Moon as it moves through Capricorn. Saturn, Rahu, Mars, Jupiter and Venus each look at the Moon, providing a brew of intensity, power and changing emotions. Can you feel the heat, confusion and strong inner tides within? Stay grounded in the physical body and its sensations. Track, watch and allow the emotions to shift. Midday on Friday, Moon shifts to Sravana nakshatra, Vishnu’s domain and a certain expansive quality sets in. Vishnu provides movement, openings and expanded awareness. Listen intently to messages and omens that arrive, especially those that give answers for your life purpose and dharma. Venus and Jupiter are both approaching the edge of Cancer, while Mercury sits at the edge of Taurus. These planets are preparing us for dramatic changes in our mental and emotional landscape. Track the wisdom coming forth. Saturday is Independence Day in the United States. It’s the day of Saturn and Moon transits Saturn’s sign, Capricorn, where Mars is considered exalted. Moon enters a Mars nakshatra, Dhanishta, late morning, and the Vasu Devas bring their brilliance to our day. They bring the light, as well as wealth, shining and being seen. How hard are you pushing? Who’s running the show? You or your ego? Check yourself. Venus moves to Leo at 20:38 on the 4th. The planet of relationships, creativity, and artistry is also connected to all things feminine. It offers beauty, fluidity, wealth and life giving powers, most essentially, shakti. Worldly comforts and resources can increase through Venus's benevolence and help us feel more stable in material ways. As Venus moves through Leo, we can expect passions to increase for relationships and connection, while strong desires may emerge. Expect intensified strength, determination and power to materialize, while aggression and agitation increase. The transit of Venus through Leo is the instigation of an unfolding theme that is ripening within the planets right now. Working with power and authority dynamics is vital, especially the masculine energy within you. Notice where you are pushing, using excessive force and using an overactive drive to accomplish and succeed. Take time to contemplate the meaning of success from different angles. Your ego may feel challenged by this. How can you soften your action steps? Where can you let go and surrender more? How can you be a winner- on all levels of life? Just before midnight, on the heels of Venus changing signs, Mercury moves to its own sign, Gemini, at 23:34. Mercury joins Sun and Mars in the sign of communication and co-creation, leaving behind the shadowed gaze of Rahu. Mercury is the indicator of the mental body, the mind, imagination and the stories we create through thought. Though Mercury feels very comfortable and secure in Gemini, the heat of Sun and Mars can cause agitation and aggressive tendencies. As he conjuncts the two hottest planets, the mind heats up and has the potential to get scorched. Are you in warrior mode? Where can you pull back? Too many irons in the fire? It's really a time to cool off and focus only on the essentials. You can't keep running on pure adrenalin or burn out is surely on its way. Remember that the focus of a warrior is highly skilled and very useful for success with clear goals and agendas. However, warriors aren't trained to think think, they just act and carry out orders. It will take more than actions to get what you really need in this cycle. Reign in your task master and spend more time leisurely enjoying nature, being outside and having simple pleasures. Moon moves to Aquarius late evening, another sign of Saturn, and steps out of the gaze of multiple planets. Venus, however, gives his direct gaze now from Leo. Move towards connection and creation, while thinking outside the box. The Vasu devas continue to shine until late Sunday morning when Moon shifts to Satabisha nakshatra. The domain of Varuna always brings a certain containment and contraction. Where do you notice yourself closing, shutting down and feeling restricted? Look for these signs as they are messages from your shadow parts that desire your attention. This harsh edge carries us through Monday morning. Let the message of healing arrive and listen carefully. *Calculations are based on Pacific Time Zone. This Week's Intention: Move, change, flow. Channel the high tides within carefully and intentionally. Need some extra guidance and clarity? Schedule a session with me.

This Week's Intention: Move with the changing tides. Be creative with the changes. Your creativity determines how well you will thrive. Monday begins with Moon finishing up its transit through Cancer, its own sign, where it is conjunct exalted Jupiter. Both receive drishti (gaze) from Mars and Ketu, adding some emotional fire and tenacity. Early morning Moon jumps into Leo and Magha nakshatra and sparks fly! Extra pressure may be felt as Moon receives drishti from Saturn now. The ancestors arrive with information and resources. Are you paying attention? Leo's ruling planet, Sun, is exalted in Aries right now with Moon waxing. Be aware of the heat today and do all that you can to work consciously with the pressure. Cool off! Let the steam out! Mercury has just moved to Taurus, joining Venus here in its own sign. Imaginal Mercury and Creative Venus do quite well together and invite inspiration and increased ideas to appear. We don't have to act upon every idea, but pay special attention in the coming weeks to those ideas that are worth activating. Once Venus moves to Gemini on May 2nd, these transits offer an exchange of signs (Venus rules Taurus and Mercury rules Gemini). Extra creativity is available to us and our relationships will be an important part of the creative process. Collaborate, co-create and communicate effectively what you need. Once Mars moves into Taurus on May 3rd, action steps become more important. Use this time to manifest your desires and put action behind them. Get what you want by saying what you mean and meaning what you say; then take it forth. Late morning on Tuesday, Moon shifts into Bhaga's domain, Purvaphalguni. Sensuality and pleasure rule the day. Get creative and let your artistry flow. Relate, co-create and communicate. Try doing this in some unusual or foreign way for better results. Notice where you are stuck in old patterns and not getting the results you want. Early afternoon Wednesday, Moon moves to the latter half of the Phalguni stars. Aryaman rules over Uttaraphalguni and reminds us how to sustain and nurture relationships and our creativity for lasting results. What do you bring to your relationships? What is your offering, your unique power? Turn on the light. Early evening, Moon moves to Virgo, joining Rahu, who brings illusions and intensity as well as worldly successes. Are you ready to unravel the mysteries of your karmas? Please join me for my weekly Jyotish Basics Classes. May registration closes midnight on April 29th. Sign Up Now. Moon continues to conjunct Rahu on Thursday transiting Uttaraphalguni the majority of the day. What desires are intensifying? What illusions are overshadowing you? Relationships are a main theme right now and may cause pleasure, pain or both. Notice your role in the tango. What actions and choices do you need to make for change? Communicate clearly. As Moon shifts into Hasta nakshatra late afternoon, Savitr brings the possibility of new awareness, awakening and more light to shine on our darkness. Notice if any new insights emerge to help you create lasting change. Friday comes with a warning. Both Mars and Venus are sandhi, opening two portals between signs. Mars is at the edge of his own sign, Aries, moving towards Taurus. Venus is at the edge of his own sign, Taurus, heading into Gemini. Be aware of heat and aggression in your relationships and your emotional responses. As Moon separates from Rahu, the shadow effect on our emotional body is lessening. Being aware of our emotions is necessary to cultivate a deeper understanding of our needs. What is working? What isn't? As Moon shifts into Chitra early evening, the heat may flare. Are you dancing with the fire or getting burned? Who or what do you direct the flames? Venus moves to Gemini on Saturday morning at 07:43 PDT. Venus does well in the creative and communicative sign of Gemini. With no aspects coming from other planets, Venus can more freely, express itself, create and co-create- as it loves to do. Use the coming weeks to let your creativity get out of hiding. Pull out your paints, craypas and dancing feet. Creativity determines how well you will thrive in your life. The more of it, the better. Work with it consciously. Need some creative support? Schedule a session with me. As Moon moves to Libra early Saturday morning, relationship and commerce themes emerge. Both require connecting and communication as well as the fluidity of Venus. Venus is weak as it arrives into Gemini, so be mindful of the delicacy of co-creation today. Sandhi Mars and exalted Sun give their drishti seven houses away, heating up emotions and our action steps. Slow down, stop and think before speaking or acting. Moon moves to the 15th and final tithi (phase) late in the evening as it shifts into Swati nakshatra. Emotional tides are high. High winds surface on Sunday as Swati nakshatra blows in. The winds of change are moving us. Sunday brings a full Moon in Libra and Swati Nakshatra at 22:41 CDT. The powerful wind god, Vayu, ruling deity of Swati nakshatra, brings inevitable changes during this full Moon and the waning cycle to come. Whether he arrives as a light breeze or as a mighty gust, he offers us fresh air and the ability to clear the cobwebs from the corners and sweep the dust that has long settled. Sometimes a small clean out is all that is required, other times a massive house cleaning is in order. It’s important to note what is needed, and how Nature supports our housecleaning. How will you use these winds of change in the coming weeks? What are your wants and needs? What action steps must be taken in order for life changing shifts to be made? This Week's Intention: Gather the abundant resources swirling around you and within you. Invite in a new level of support and nourishment. Moon is waxing and is gaining potency this week as we near the full Moon on Saturday. We are still in the delicate two week gap between solar eclipse and lunar eclipse though. With Sun, Mercury and Ketu still transiting Pisces, themes continue to surface around endings, loss, letting go and surrender. The sacred celebration of the Divine Mothers, Navaratri, has ended but if we've been paying close attention, some new nourishment and awareness should have arrived. The full Moon arrives this week on Saturday, marked by a lunar Eclipse. Eclipses represent the shadowed self, our inner darkness that must come to the light. In the Vedic tradition, this is not a time to take risks, start new endeavors, or to over-exert. It is a time, however, of turning inward, of meditation and contemplation and a time to take extra care of the physical body with good routine etc. The solar eclipse on March 20th marked the beginning of a delicate two week period which will end with the lunar eclipse and full Moon on April 4th. Traditionally starting new endeavors during this delicate eclipse period is not advised. There are still challenges until we see Sun and Mercury move out of Pisces and into Aries mid month. Be gentle and work with power issues. Monday begins with a waxing Moon in the 11th tithi, with swelling lunar tides expanding our emotional cups. The emotional body is a potent theme because Moon transits its own sign of Cancer and conjuncts retrograde Jupiter here. Both are in Ashlesha nakshatra today, enlivening Sarpa, the serpent deity. Don't get pulled off course by illusions and overconfidence. Diligently going beyond the surface of the mental body will be vital for gaining clarity and wisdom. Tackle emotions head on and inquire what the need is underneath the emotion. Pacify the mind today. Magha nakshatra insists that Tuesday start with a jolt of energy and extra charge! The ancestors are conspiring with us today to insure that we learn something new about power and force. Ketu and Sun are in exact conjunction right now so be aware that the ego may get a few jolts of electricity- either positive or negative charges. Sudden shifts are possible today. Try not to let the mind run away with you. Use your stories to uncover hidden inner terrain that is keeping you from your full potential. Now is the time to shine. Let yourself be cracked open. Did you catch my *free* class Ultimate Self Care for Sensitive Types? You can still listen to it until April 4th. I've also just re-launched my Be Your Gift class series for those seeking deeper support for their sensitivity. Sign up to hear the replay. As Moon shifts into Purvaphalguni early Wednesday morning. The day offers us an ability to plant new seeds and cultivate a rich sensuality thanks to the deity Bhaga and PurvaPhalguni nakshatra. Whatever was re-arranged yesterday has offered us an opening into greater nourishment and creativity today. Are you allowing in the creative flow of ideas and possibilities? Don't block the life force and let in the support as it shows up. Get your needs met. Early Thursday morning, Moon moves to UttaraPhalguni nakshatra, the latter half of the Phalguni stars. This constellation gives us the opportunity to be nourished from sustainable endeavors, things that last. It's through time that we ripen. Time allows us to deepen our trust, commitments, a sense of stability and support. It's through long term relationships of all kinds that we can find deeper nourishment. Notice where this sustainable nourishment and support is arriving for you today. Even if you are still feeling fragile and raw from the previous days, I encourage you to look for the people and places that are helping you gather your strength and resiliency. Let Saturn's drishti on the Moon right now be a support for finding helpful structures. Moon is in the 14th tithi now and our inner tides are high! As Moon jumps into Virgo midday Pacific time, it conjoins Rahu. Both get the impact of debilitated Mercury, Sun and Ketu from seven houses away in Pisces. Moon and Rahu give their drishti to this energetic combination in Pisces as well. There is a strong dance of the mind right now and though it's highly fragile due to Mercury's debilitation and its conjunction with Sun and Ketu, we can also access a more intensified awareness at this time if we are diligent with it. We must "strong arm" the mind to keep it from going into fear and terror. Keep yourself out of mental torment with clarifying tools like EFT- Emotional Freedom Technique. Get embodied and stay grounded. Use somatic wisdom to get you there. Make sure to be checking in with all three levels of awareness. Are you using a three level check-in? Mid morning on Friday, Moon moves into Hasta nakshatra, nearing Rahu. This is Savitr's domain. He brings the light at the end of the tunnel and reminds us there is light to be had. With Rahu's shadow effect on the Moon we may be struggling to find the light source, or challenged in some way emotionally. Trusting in the light will guide you back to it. Affirm your sense of self, strengthen your inner core. The ego and our sense of power are both getting restructured right now and the mind is spinning its many stories to support or negate this process. Stay true to who you are and what you are. Keep moving towards what you want for your self and your life. Be nourished by wisdom and working with the hands. Full Moon, Saturday, April 4 at 07:04 CDT with Moon in Virgo and Hasta Nakshatra. A Lunar Eclipse occurs simultaneously and it is Hanuman Jayanti. Total lunar eclipse begins at 04:03 CDT and ends at 09:58 CDT. Eclipses bring a shadow effect to everything they touch. In this case, our emotional body, the Moon, receives this touch of darkness, of illusion. Moon conjoins Rahu during this full Moon, while in Hasta nakshatra, Savitr’s domain. This full Moon offers us a chance for a new beginning, new light. Savitr is responsible for bringing us light, jyoti, and is associated with the first crack of dawn that emerges on the horizon each day. It’s this dawning that awakens us, helps us rise into a new day. Savitr brings us new possibility, new potential, new hope, and he does so with awareness— seeing with fresh eyes, with awakened eyes— often through new wisdom. Recite Gayatri Mantra for extra support at this time. Want more Vedic details about the power of this full Moon and the coming waxing cycle? As the Moon moves away from Rahu on Saturday, we may feel a bit more emotional breathing room within us, however manage lingering feelings of pressure and overwhelm by getting embodied and attending to your self care. Tides are high right now, so everything will be bigger and more intense- positive and negative. Moon transits Chitra nakshatra after midday and Vishkarma brings his support for building and creating. His plans require that you take one step at a time and watch your steps add up. This is important for whatever you are building- good health, a solid relationship, a prosperous business. Take calculated and powerful steps today. Be intentional with your actions. Just after midnight on Sunday, Moon shifts into Libra, receiving direct gaze from Mars and Venus who are both in Aries. Moon changes to Swati nakshatra midday and Rahu's influence reappears. (Swati is ruled by Vayu and also the shadow node Rahu). Both qualities intensify change and movement. Vayu is the wind god and his role is to bring us the "winds of change" to help us make necessary shifts in our life- whether forced or gentle. Whatever changes occur, use them as a way to deepen your awareness and bring you a new level of inner sight. This theme carries us through Monday. *Timing and calculations are using Pacific Daylight Time. Did you catch my *free* class Ultimate Self Care for Sensitive Types?
