Be sure to attend to the nuisances as there are messages arriving about needs for comfort, safety and support. What do you need? Let your heart wisdom guide you. Read more about debilitated Mars in last week's post. Monday begins with a waning Moon in Aquarius, moving through the 4th tithi (phase) and Purvabhadrapada nakshatra. This is the domain of Ajaikapada, or the goat standing on one foot. This can also be interpreted as a form of Shiva standing on one leg, expressing tapas and penance, overcoming challenges and obstacles. Wisdom and knowledge can arrive here, but usually as a result of learning from difficulties. Since Ajaikapada is a Rudra, great strength can also be offered. How can you extract the growth from the challenge? Late morning Moon moves to the last sign of the zodiac, Pisces, joining Ketu here. Let sudden insights and ideas arrive, but attend to mental and emotional sensitivity. After noon, Moon moves to the latter half of the Bhadrapada constellation, Uttarabhadrapada. The serpent of the deep, Ahirbudhnya, arrives to bring deeper awareness and transformation. With Mercury at the edge of Cancer and sandhi (in the gap) the mental body is fragile. Late evening as Moon and Ketu conjunct, emotional body will require extra TLC. Listen closely. Attend to your sacredness. Moon moves away from close conjunction with Ketu Tuesday morning as Mercury leaps into Leo and Ketu's nakshatra, Magha at 05:31. Sensitivity and awakening that starts within the mental and emotional bodies, are alive and well. Spirit can be part of the messenger, but are you too frazzled to hear its wisdom? Grounding and working with feet as a way to feel extra support is essential right now. What can you do to get embodied? Mercury transits Leo until August 23rd- a whirlwind adventure for our mind through the kingly domain of the lion. As Mercury moves through this powerful sign of the Sun, it will conjunct Jupiter and retrograde Venus. Though Mercury and creative Venus are friendly to each other, Jupiter is not fond of these two. His purity and expansive ways need more stability and less worldly shenanigans. The trick in this cycle will be how to blend worlds. Integrate creative, imaginative and relational needs with desires for spiritual, knowledge and wisdom. Can we unite these seemingly opposing forces? This is in fact where maximum creative potential can be found. There are gifts and glory here if you can find the integration, the bridge, between spiritual and worldly. Find nourishment and wealth- not in force, but through languishing in soft landings, pauses and taking time for sacred moments of creativity to sink into your awareness. Pushing, rushing and forcing will be counter-productive, even violent and intrusive to the creative and creation process. Trust in letting go, slowing down and silence. Harvest the riches from stillness and moments of self care. Your mental body and imagination will thank you. Late Tuesday morning, Moon shifts to the final nakshatra of the zodiac, Revati. Endings, releases and letting go arrive today- especially on the mental and emotional body levels. What can you do to support this process and find more releasing? Endings and letting go start Mercury's day, Wednesday, as the Moon finishes up its transit through Pisces. Seek nourishment and gentleness. Find moments of support as Pushan (Revati's ruling deity) can offer assistance for our journey. Late morning Moon hops into Aries and Ashwini nakshatra, ushering in a fresh start. Can you feel the shift and an additional layer of Ketu bringing flashes of insight, awakening and change? Ashwini also brings rejuvenation, healing and transformational powers with it. What balm do you need for what ails you? Jupiter's drishti on the Moon gives some nourishment as well as expansion. Let him offer some soothing wisdom to guide you as this new cycle begins. Today requires extra self care. Make sure you attend to it. Late Thursday morning, Bharani nakshatra and Yama's restraints arrive as Moon moves into the second pada of Aries. Bharani is an interesting mixture of hard and soft, sensitivity and fierceness. It's ruling planet, Venus, is in exact conjunction with Mercury today and the two creatives can provide ample inspiration to us. Channel this powerful creative energy effectively and maximize its potency. Bottle it and sell it. You'll have a winner. Friday mid morning, Moon moves to Agni's constellation, Krittika. Cut away the excess, purify and transform. The sacred fire of life rules the day, supporting change and clarity. Much of this purification must be attended to on the emotional body level. Clear and clean, soften and lean in to what your heart wisdom has to share with you. What can you do to nourish, rather than cut yourself? Around noon, Moon jumps to its sign of exaltation, Taurus, intensifying the feelings and emotions within. Rahu gives his drishti, as does Saturn. Stay out of the shadow and misery with focus and re-direction. Notice the dark and the light providing you with choices. What waves are you riding? Late evening, Moon's intensity softens as it shift into mulitrikona degrees, though still ripe with emotional potency. Are you joining me for my 10 Day Embodiment + Creativity Challenge?! Receive daily inspiration for increasing creativity, joy, embodiment and inner light. Get On the List. Saturday morning, Moon slips into the powerful and creative star, Rohini nakshatra, mid morning. Brahma is the ruling deity here and he brings his creative activation to all who are ready to powerfully work with his creation process. Tap into your creative potential and use this time to get inspired! What creative projects have you been neglecting? Start something! Mid-morning, Sunday, Moon moves to Mrigashirsha nakshatra, Soma's domain. Feel the fluctuations and changes within and find a way to dance with your inner movement and shifting tides. Move towards comfort, nourishment and satisfaction. Honor your life, living and those who have come before you. What symbolic actions inspire ripening and release for you? Step powerfully into your life and move towards the divine nectar of fully being alive.

The week begins with a waning Moon in the sixth tithi (phase). Venus has just entered Leo and Mercury is now in its own sign, Gemini. Both are still sandhi, in weak degrees, getting situated in their new signs. Jupiter is also sandhi, in the gap, moving from his exaltation sign, Cancer, towards Leo next week. Monday, Moon transits Aquarius and into Purvabhadrapada nakshatra late morning. The Moon is nearing another complete cycle and the ruler of this nakshatra, Ajaikapada, is helping us with certain release. Themes arrive around completion and letting go, while simultaneously helping us find balance with seemingly difficult situations. Step wisely today and make your actions intentional. Moon shifts to Pisces just before midnight, joining Ketu here. Both receive gaze from Rahu and Jupiter. Seek balance with spiritual and worldly desires over the coming days. Early Tuesday morning, Moon shifts to the latter half of the Bhadra constellation, Uttarabhadrapada. The serpent of the netherworlds, Ahirbudhnya, helps us look below the surface and find the answers we are seeking. It takes excavation and willingness to dive deep. Let your inner waters help you transform and change. Avoid stagnation. In the early hours on Wednesday morning, Moon moves to the final nakshatra in the zodiac, Revati. The ruling deity, Pushan, is a powerful ally of support for our path. He brings assistance, protection, nourishment and safety for our journey. Let him provide for you. Are you receptive to his offerings? Just as Thursday begins, renewal arrives as Moon jumps through the tricky gandanta (gap) between Pisces (endings) and into Aries (beginnings). This junction is also a shift from water to fire, release into energized action. Today may feel like a fresh start and offer powerful opportunities for renewal. Take a new action step and make it intentional. With Moon outside of any other planetary gaze, there may be a sense of possibility and a feeling of awakening. Yet Aries is ruled by Mars and Sun is considered exalted in this sign- both are conjunct Mercury in Gemini currently- which offers a certain tension, heat and tenacity for our mental body. If aggravation or fear arrives, see how spirit can help you surrender and release, while being mindful of the needs underneath the feelings. Bharani nakshatra ushers in Friday, as does its deity, Lord Yama, he who restrains. He is fierce yet vulnerable, strong yet sensitive. He holds us back where we need to regain a sense of composure, contraction, or where we might benefit from some restriction. Ultimately, Yama can help us regain a sense of balance if we need some reigning in. His ways are not comfortable however, so notice where his restrictions may be met with resistance. Ultimately, refusing his ways is not possible, as he brings the final declaration of our karmas after life. Listen and learn while you're alive. As Moon shifts to Krittika nakshatra on Saturday morning, Agni takes over, bringing heat, change and transformational qualities. Moon becomes exalted late morning as it enters Taurus. Emotional swells and high inner tides arrive. Listen to your emotional body wisdom. There is a certain care and protection available today that must be attended to. Can you feel extra protection, support or guidance available? Declare your desires and let the universe hear you loud and clear! Go after what you truly want, but more importantly what you truly need. Moon moves to the highly creative nakshatra, Rohini, just after midnight and ushers in a potent Sunday. Maximize the potential available today and start creating the life you want! How can you manifest more potently? Get clear on your desires and how you want to create the life of your dreams. Shoot for the stars! There is power, strength and wisdom available right now, while extra support may be felt from spirit. Ask and yee shall receive. Jupiter moves closer to the edge of Cancer, preparing to leap into Leo and Magha nakshatra on the 14th. The year long transit of Jupiter in its sign of exaltation, Cancer, is ending. However, the changes are already occurring. Pay close attention at this time to themes that connect to Leo, the 5th house and the Sun. Simultaneously any final lessons and understandings from the Jupiter in Cancer transit will be intensifying. This is a time of crystalization, where the final offerings of the Cancer cycle are being shared with us. Read more about the effects of Jupiter in Leo. Now is an ideal time to prepare for the upcoming transit with extra jyotish astrology guidance and support, as well as having a Jupiter yagya for a smoother transition. Please share it with a friend! Thank you. This Week's Intention: The deeper the release, the deeper the opening. How open and available are you for change? Monday begins with a waning Moon in Satabisha nakshatra, Varuna's domain. His symbol is an empty circle and he is connected to restraint. Varuna brings strong resistance at times but may be helpful with creating healthy boundaries. Are you resisting or avoiding? Are you conscious of this or pushing vital nourishment away? How can you say "yes and..." today- inviting in deeper nourishment yet also letting go of what no longer serves your truest needs? Say yes and stay open to possibilities for more of what truly serves you. Dance with both, with possibilities, with hope and trust the support to hold you. Just as Tuesday arrives, Moon moves to Purvabhadrapada nakshatra. Ajaikapada, another expression of Lord of the Dance, reminds us of the delicate dance of life. He helps us balance challenge and defeat mighty odds. He reminds us that we can stay grounded and rooted, while preparing for change and transition. He is here and he is there. Where are you? How are you staying grounded, yet open for change? As evening arrives, Moon shifts to Pisces, joining Ketu in this sign, while also receiving drishti from Rahu and Jupiter. Our emotional bodies become extra sensitive in the coming days. Self care is essential. Just before Wednesday begins, Moon moves to the latter half of the bhadrapada constellation, Uttarahadrapada, and the serpent of the deep, Ahirbudhnya enters with his deep inquiry and investigative awareness. Moon and Ketu are in exact conjunction today, creating extra sensitivity and the potential for abrupt shifts and changes in our emotional body. Tend to your inner needs, rest and do self care. Take time for a four level check-in and also for meditation today. Moon shifts to Revati nakshatra around midnight and greater nourishment arrives. Revati rules the day on Thursday, with its deity, Pushan, supporting our path with blessings, safety and fruitful offerings. As Moon moves away from Ketu, the rawness of our emotional body begins to re-stabalize. Mercury goes direct at 15:30 and the mental body resumes a forward inclination. Greater support and nourishment will be available now that we exit sheer clean-up mode. Enjoy the mental space and notice the mind clutter you removed during the past few weeks! Now is the time to get extra creative, more communicative and move towards new connections and collaborations. Moon is at the end of the zodiac now, symbolizing completion and release, letting go, and the finality of a cycle. Ready for the new? The new Moon is on the rise. We are each preparing for new beginnings with extra release right now. Pay special attention to loss and grief while tending to sadness that is emerging. The emotional body has much to share with us during this cycle. Just before Friday arrives, Moon jumps into Aries and Ashwini nakshatra. New beginnings, arrivals and openings enter. What are you inviting in? What needs to be tended to and released still for greater wholeness? The Ashwini-Kumara twins, ruling deities of this constellation, help us restore and revitalize with healing remedies, the arts, creative powers and rejuvenation. Tend to your physical body today and help it release and restore. As evening approaches, Moon moves to Bharani nakshatra. The transformative powers of Bharani nakshatra and its deity Yama, provide insights into our release and letting go process on Saturday. This is a fierce yet sensitive nakshatra, one that can ride the edge of hard and soft. Use your strength to make clear, executive decisions today that nurture your highest good. Notice where you are resisting and not allowing for greater nourishment to enter. As Moon moves through Aries, we may feel the increased pressure and frustration around support and nourishment. Trust and surrender, but tend to the emotions emerging. Early evening Moon shifts to Krittika at the edge of Aries, with an invitation for more clarity. Just as Sunday begins, the Moon shifts into its exaltation sign, Taurus, joining Sun, Mercury and Mars here. All receive gaze from Rahu and Saturn which undermines and intensifies our need for comfort and nourishment right now. Sunday requests that we purify and release with the help of Krittika nakshatra, which will continue to prepare us for the new Moon on Tuesday. Ruling deity, Agni, offers the added benefit of deeper insight and clarity right now. Purify, transform and let alchemy work its magic on your change process. Support the change process by intentionally attending to your own fire of life, your digestive fire. Sun and Mars are sandhi at the edge of Taurus. Monday arrives with Moon in its mulitrikona sign as Mars and Sun jump to Gemini. The emotional body is hot and focused on expansion. Where are you feeling suppressed? What needs do you have for expansion? Move towards the nourishment. *Time zone used for calculations is in Pacific Daylight Time unless otherwise noted. Need some extra guidance and clarity? Moon is waxing and the week starts off with Moon entering the beginning of the zodiac, Aries. Fresh beginnings and new starts are here! Mercury is retrograde, as is Jupiter, which makes for a sensation of expanding in reverse. Use this time for clean up and organization. *** As of this week, I'll be shifting my posts to reflect my current time zone- Pacific Standard. Please note the changes and updated time difference in regard to your own location. *** Monday, January 26th Today's Intention: Re-new and become new by re-imagining the old. Just minutes after midnight, Moon hops into Aries and Ashwini nakshatra, inviting in the Ashvini Kumara twins. They offer us healing, rejuvenation- and increased creativity as a result. Take action steps today that offer healing and restoration to you. With Moon out of the gaze of other planets, we may feel an increased awakening, room for possibility and greater expansion. The expansion is possible through re-tracing your steps, going over old territory, inviting in the old, but restructuring it to make it new. Moon moves to Bharani nakshatra at 21:39 PST. Tuesday, January 27th Today's Intention: Plot, hunt and focus on your goals with tenacity. Moon transits Bharani nakshatra, Yama and Venus's domain. As the king of dharma, Yama determines whether our efforts are worthy of our time in this life, or whether we missed the mark. His ability to restrain us from overindulgence can keep us from misery. There is a certain one-pointedness available to us today, as well as a warrior spirit. Make sure your energy and efforts align with your long term goals and desires- the ones that have depth and purpose for your life. The auspicious ninth tithi or Moon phase, Navami, is enlivened today. It is connected to the Sun and the deity Naga, which can help us awaken some depth and awareness. Venus moves to Satabisha nakshatra at 20:51 PST, enlivening Varuna, the deity who rules over judgement and deep vision. Varuna handles Natural Law and enforces them by handing us our karmas, our actions and re-actions. It is very important to pay close attention to subtleties at this time, to deeply listen, in order to awaken to the truths of Nature. This awareness can help us re-establish a sense of order in our lives. Not out of fear or punishment, sacrifice or pain, but because we naturally align with Nature and her laws of wisdom and truth. As Venus transit through Satabisha, our inner creative waters can find more grace, fluidity and intensity simultaneously. Use this time to make an impact on your life. Take strong action and do what you know is best for yourself and others. Study the transits, learn the wisdom of jyotish, gather insights for your healing and transformation in my new class series: Jyotish Basics for Transformation and Healing. First class is this Sunday and registration ends Friday. Sign Up. Moon moves to Krittika, near the edge of Aries, at 21:36 PST. Wednesday, January 28th Today's Intention: Wield your sword with confidence. Moon transits Krittika nakshatra and jumps into Taurus at 03:41 am PST, becoming exalted for a few hours- until late morning. Agni is the ruler of this constellation and offers us a sharp transformation through purification processes. The emotional body fullness will be felt strongly so prepare for emotional diligence today. With Saturn giving direct gaze to the Moon from Scorpio, we can expect an underlying depression or fear to settle in. Mars and Rahu also give their gaze to the Moon, offering a strong edge with a dose of shadow. The mental body plays a role in the experience of the emotions today because of Mercury's conjunction with the Sun (Krittika's ruling planet); this increases our mental sharpness. We can direct this focus into meaningful tasks, or let it take us down the rabbit hole. Don't get caught up in "shoulda, coulda, woulda" today. Be diligent with your 3 level check-in so that you can easily navigate your inner dialogue. Need a reminder about the three levels? Moon shifts to Rohini at 22:06 PST. Thursday, January 29th Today's Intention: Make a greater creative impact today. Moon is considered in its mulitrikona sign as it transits through the remainder of Taurus. This is a place that the Moon can more fully express its creativity, sensuality, charisma and playfulness. Mulitrikona placement offers a planet the ability to express their energy at 75%. As Moon transits through Rohini, creative themes are exemplified. Rohini is ruled by lord Brahma, the ultimate God expression of creativity. By now, we have been feeling the refinement process of Moon receiving gaze from Saturn, Rahu and Mars. Today, we have a more porous experience, and less rigidity than yesterday. Let the wisdom seep into your pores. How is the struggle softening you, awakening you, opening you to possibility? Use this to spark your creative energy and focus your expansion efforts. Expand your creative channels and let the life pulse through you. Moon shifts into Mrigashirsha nakshatra at 23:06 PST. Friday, January 30th Today's Intention: Extend your branches into new realms. Mars moves to Purvabhadrapada today, enlivening Ajaikapada, the domain of Shiva, lord of the dance. It will be our tenacity, our warrior spirit and our action steps, that will help us accomplish seemingly impossible feats in the coming weeks. Ajaikapada stands with one foot firmly grounded, rooted in the earth, while the other foot is lifted, poised and ready to take a step. This represents continual movement, growth and change, as well as balancing the impossible. Symbolically, one foot is firmly grounded in the now, while the other is lifted into the unknown. Use very conscious action steps in the coming two weeks. Be diligent, conscious, strategic and poised for action. Moon transits through the latter half of Taurus and is in Mrigashirsha nakshatra today. The deity of this nakshatra is Soma, while the symbol is a deer head with large, reaching antlers. The ruling planet of Mrigashirsha is Mars, while the deity, Soma is connected to the Moon. The combination of elements and symbols here expresses much movement, change and growth as a result of the constant movement. Like antlers that continue to spread out and expand, then drop off, only to re-grow, we can connect with these cycles of renewal for our own life expansion. This is literally how we are fed and nourished by life. Last day to register for my new class offering, Jyotish Basics for Transformation and Healing!! Register here. Moon moves to Gemini at 11:45 am PST. Saturday, January 31st Today's Intention: Channel the power of your inner volcano and move mountains. Moon shifts into Ardra nakshatra just after midnight at 00:31 am PST, inviting in Rudra's powerful and tenacious strength and grande emotional waves. He moves things with his strength and ferocity which often stirs our anger and rage. Anger is connected to our power source within and must be treated as a flashing red light of awakening. What slumber do you need to awaken from? What is holding you back? What part of you is holding you back from experiencing your fullness? Now is the time to clear and clean up the mental body. The old stories and illusions that are keeping you from realizing your full potential. Track your mental body diligently today and see where it is causing eruptions. Sunday, February 1st Today's Intention: Expand what you think is possible. Moon moves to Punarvasu nakshatra at 02:21 am PST, and Aditi is ushered in. To smooth out the ruffles of yesterday, Aditi arrives to create expansion and awareness from the rubble within. She knits us back together with her wholeness, her unity consciousness. From this wholeness we get our needs met, we get the nourishment we need and our needs are taken care of. Jyotish Basics for Transformation and Healing begins today at 3pm PST. Did you register? Moon moves to Cancer at 21:56 PST. Monday, February 2nd Moon transits through its own sign, Cancer, with retrograde Jupiter here as well. Both receive drishti from conjunct Sun and Mercury. Nourishment deepens as we reflect on our deepest needs and desires. What serves us and what is not serving us? What can we clean up within our heart in order to clean up our life and properly expand? My Jyotish Basics Classes begin this Sunday, February 1st! Don't miss out on these transformational and healing classes. Get the details.

Please share it with a friend! Thank you. Saturn has now shifted into Anuradha nakshatra for the next year. Moon is waxing and brings us a full Moon this week while the Moon is simultaneously exalted. There will be high energy for this one! This week, we also experience Venus moving out of Scorpio and into Sagittarius, reducing some of the pressure within Scorpio. Exalted Jupiter is at the edge of Cancer now; this is our final week until the spring where we will have a forward moving Jupiter. Next week he goes retrograde on the 8th. Read more about Jupiter in Cancer.
Monday, December 1st Today's Intention: Step slowly, step eloquently, step purposefully. Your steps really add up. As of Sunday, November 30th, Saturn moved into Anuradha nakshatra at 08:54 am CST and will be in this lunar constellation for a little over a year. This is a good shift for Saturn to make and it will likely be a valuable transit for helping us put the pieces together in our lives that need to be re-assembled, re-stored and re-aligned, in order for greater wholeness. Since Saturn is in Scorpio, it's very definitely a time of deconstruction, change and transformation, yet with Saturn transiting the friendly star of Anuradha, ruled by Mitra, we have a chance to create some helpful and lasting changes for ourselves- if we are willing and able to work with the finer details of our lives. Mitra is the deity of friendship, so expect him to offer support and resources for building alliances over the course of 2015. Anuradha is ruled by Saturn, so this is a constellation that does well with Saturn's finite abilities. Gain resources through networking, connecting, sharing, being benevolent, speaking the sweet truth. It will, however, be very important to remember the big picture over the next year, as Mitra and Saturn may get us lost in the fine details of life, forgetting the bigger, overall, reality of existence. Read more about the Saturn in Scorpio transit. Moon is transiting Pisces with Ketu there, and receives drishti from Rahu and Jupiter. Moon transits UttaraBhadrapada, enlivening its deity Ahirbudhnya. He is the serpent of the nether realms, who helps us today with uncovering hidden parts of ourselves. He is a Rudra, a strong force of Nature, one that can remove calamities, misfortunes and can help us overcome obstacles. With Moon in conjunction with Ketu and receiving gaze from Rahu, it's important to remember self care guidelines, and pay special attention to your emotional body. Flashes of insight and awareness may arrive today, yet may trigger discomfort. Work with your discomfort effectively, invite it in for a cup of tea, and begin to find a new relationship with your disillusionment. Now's the time to transform your shadow parts with so much energy enlivening Scorpio. Moon shifts into Revati nakshatra at 13:43 CST, inviting in Pushan and Mercury. Pushan offers us safe travels and nourishment along the way. As Moon nears exact conjunction with Ketu late in the evening, we may feel our sensitivity and our fragility increase, and therefor gain greater access to our needs. Use this time for self care and giving yourself sacred space to feel, sense and imagine. As Cyber Monday closes, Ketu (who rules the internet) may bring some sudden and last minute purchases online. Use the Ketu/Moon conjunction to take sudden or swift action steps. Tuesday, December 2nd Today's Intention: All we need is tender loving care. Moon transits Revati nakshatra, but has crossed over Ketu, separating from him now. Nearing the edge of Pisces, Moon prepares to jump into a new cycle around the zodiac. Ketu continues to reflect his light onto Scorpio where Venus, Sun, Saturn and Mercury are currently transiting. This is the sign that is Moon's place of debilitation, thus the past few days have been a strong emotional body reflection time. Many of us have been feeling that intensity and perhaps looking at ourselves under a microscope. This is a good time to balance this extreme introspection with a wide angle lens, the macroscopic view. Seek resources and reflections from others that can remind you of this. As Moon jumps into Aries at 12:52 CST and we experience a sudden shift. This is a tricky junction point for any planet to cross. Not only is it a pivotal crossing from the end of the zodiac (12th house matters) to the beginning of the zodiac (1st house matters), but Pisces is ruled by water, whereas Aries is ruled by fire. Any planet that shifts from water into fire can feel as though it's literally jumping into the fire! Not comfortable. This coupled with the fact that the zodiac begins with Ashwini nakshatra, ruled by Ketu, so we get this lens intensifying our experience for yet another day. Take it easy today and note the delicacy of the Moon, its shift, and the extreme energy in Scorpio right now. Three level check-ins will help you come back into the now and help you name your needs, affirming what will nourish and comfort you. Sun shifts into Jyeshtha nakshatra at 17:44 CST and moves into Indra's domain. Indra rules our senses, so the coming days give us ample opportunities to work diligently with the sensory level of existence. The senses are the very human parts of our being- they bring us to life and they can also over power us, get us into trouble, and destroy us. Indra reminds us to work with them, not against them. We can't neglect them, yet we can't let them run away with us either. Balance is essential. We find balance when we are in right relationship with our senses. How do we do that? Well the first step is to start building a healthy, aware, and conscious relationship with our senses, and our pranic life force, our breath. Working with the 3 levels of awareness will help us name what is arriving in any given moment on the mental, emotional and physical levels of life. Getting embodied is the missing link. Here are some tips. Moon shifts into the 12th tithi today, signifying its fullness nearing. Wednesday, December 3rd Today's Intention: Our vulnerabilities are the source of our greatest power. Moon continues to transit Aries, a Mars ruled sign, and we may be feeling the extra heat. Mars is exalted right now in Capricorn, and four plants are still transiting Scorpio, another Mars ruled sign. We will likely feel this in the emotional body the most, but this may then overheat the mind and body. Take note, less is more right now, and be diligent with your emotional body needs. Listen to its messages! Moon finishes up in Ashwini nakshatra at 12:13 am CST, when it pops into Bharani nakshatra. Bharani nakshatra enlivens Yama and Venus. This is a fierce and transformational nakshatra, connected to death and dying, restraint and also sensitivity. Today we are reminded about our deep vulnerabilities and how to work with them in a very intentional way. Our vulnerabilities are in fact our biggest strengths, and a resource for our greatest center of power. These vulnerabilities are rooted in the second chakra, our pelvis, which is why the symbol of Bharani is not surprising- the yoni. Finding your power center requires standing firmly in the stability of your pelvis. Thursday, December 4th Today's Intention: The nature of life is to grow and progress, and ultimately to find balance. Moon transits into Krittika nakshatra at 11:51 am CST, receiving drishti still from exalted Mars and now in a Nakshatra ruled by the Sun. The emotional body is hot today! With the Moon now in the 14th tithi, our inner tides are high and we are likely feeling the waters within stronger than ever right now as four planets are transiting Moon's debilitation sign, Scorpio. With the water planet, Venus, now perched on the edge of Scorpio, our inner waters are extra sensitive, extra full, extra vulnerable to the many shifts, changes and fluctuations occurring right now. It's not a comfortable time for many! Krittika nakshatra is ruled by Agni, the fire god of transformation who brings us life, literally. Internally, we have many Agni flames that flicker within, keeping us digesting, burning, transforming and changing in order to live life. Externally, our biggest source of Agni is the Sun (hence the ruler of Krittika). Sun is our ultimate transformational resource within our solar system. If we get too close to the Sun we burn, yet without his light, we die. The Sun, Agni and Krittika, all remind us that just the right amount of purification is best practice- not too much, and not too little. Moon jumps into its exaltation sign, Taurus, at 17:48 CST exemplifying the fullness of our emotional body. Moon is also receiving direct gaze from Sun, Mercury and Saturn in Scorpio now. With the Moon exalted, this gives us three planets feeling their fullness right now (Mars and Jupiter as well). This is your gentle reminder to surf the waves. Contain what needs to be contained, purge what needs to be purged, let go of what needs to be let go of. Three level check-ins will help you with the identification process. Moon shifts into its mulitrikona degrees at 23:10 CST, yet still expresses himself at 75%. Friday, December 5th Today's Intention: If you can dream it, you can create it. Mulitrikona Moon shifts into the extremely creative star, Rohini, at 11:47 am CST, enlivening the blessings of Lord Brahma and by default, his consort Goddess Saraswati. This divine couple expresses their influence through manifestation- manifestation from creativity, creative intelligence, and our divine essence which is cosmic creative life force, or shakti. It is on this level of our sacred being that we maximize our potential, not only as a divine being, but as a human being. On this plane of existence, we are here to create our lives, to manifest our dreams into reality, to learn how to create, to literally bring the unmanifest into manifest form. We do this through our second chakra. And this is the power of being embodied. We can't think our dreams into reality, but we can feel and sense our dreams into reality. This is why I am so passionate about somatic awareness and embodiment work. Read more about manifesting through your second chakra. Moon is now in the 15th tithi as Venus jumps into Sagittarius and Mula nakshatra at 16:55 CST. Venus, the creative and passionate planet that symbolizes relationships and the feminine, is in a vulnerable position at this time. Jumping from a sensitive water sign into a fire sign, and right into the challenging nakshatra of Mula. This transit of Venus through Sagittarius takes us through the end of December and will bring a certain discomfort with it, yet a drive to acquire and get material gain. Materialism is not a bad thing- we are after all here in a human form to manifest, create and work directly with our limitless abundance. Yet the wisdom seeking Sagittarius ruled by the guru himself, Jupiter, is not friendly with the asura demon god, Venus. We may find ourselves tangled in the dance of spirit vs. materialism this month. If you are feeling guilt, shame, lack and any aspects of poverty consciousness arrive, I highly suggest working directly with your money problems right now. My favorite technique for overcoming money blockages is the Emotional Freedom Technique. This is a great month to pick of Margaret Lynch's book, Tapping Into Wealth. Saturday, December 6th Today's Intention: Keep reaching towards what nourishes you. Moon is full at 06:26 am CST while in Taurus and Rohini nakshatra. Read my Full Moon Wisdom + Creative Ritual for the Waning Moon Cycle. Moon moves into Mrigashirsha nakshatra at 12:07 pm CST, and Soma, divine nourishment, becomes our primary resource. Soma is another name for the Moon, and is connected to the immortal nectar that brings lasting and unyielding nourishment to us. The Moon's rays are said to offer us Soma, as the filtered rays of the Sun, we can assimilate the light as a healing force, rather than a heating and harming force. The gifts of Soma and the Moon have the power for us to get our needs met, to get the nourishment we need and to find the gifts we are seeking. Mrigashirsha nakshatra is a resourceful constellation and it helps us to branch out, reach out, proliferate and expand. Use this as the metaphor for your day. Expand, grow, nourish and be nourished, and let this be healing. Sunday, December 7th Today's Intention: Play big or go home. Just after midnight, the Moon jumps into Gemini. Out of Rahu's gaze now, as well as Saturn, Mercury and Sun, Moon now receives direct gaze from Venus in Sagittarius. Creativity heightens and we may experience more fluidity and flow of resources today- financial, communication, relational etc. As Moon shifts into Rahu's nakshatra, Ardra, at 12:55 pm CST, a powerful shift occurs. Rahu offers his level of intensity, while Ardra's ruler, Rudra, brings a certain ferocity and strength. End the weekend strong, by finishing tasks, projects and to-do lists, but stay out of the mire, emotional snares, and relationship traps. Mental body and emotional body sensitivity will be intensified. Moon is waning, yet still very full of energy. Mind your emotional body wisdom, tend to its needs, and take care of it by channeling intense emotions effectively. Get the emotions up and out, keep them moving, express them in healthy and cathartic ways, but don't dump on others. This intensity carries us through the greater part of Monday, so keep this in mind as you start your week off with a bang! Need some extra guidance and clarity? Schedule a session with me.
