You may believe that relationships are a mirror, you may have even used others as a reflection for change and healing. But what do your relationships really say about your deeper needs? The parts of you that long to be healed, touched, awakened and transformed? From a jyotish perspective, the 7th house of your chart represents relationships. It is the “other” what you are looking at, seeing outside of yourself. You may like what you see, or you may despise it. Depending on the planets and their relationship with your 7th house, you may experience more or less challenges with “the other”. There may be cycles that kick up extra turmoil or pain as a result of the mirrors you are looking at. These external mirrors are reflecting to you what is inside. Whether it feels good, or whether it hurts, what you are experiencing is a piece of your inner landscape. Love or hate, it’s all within you. The 7th house of the jyotish chart is an expression of yoga. Of merging, integrating, uniting- all the parts of ourselves that we feel separate from, that feel outside of ourselves. The house of relationships reminds you how to conjoin and connect, to harmonize and balance your inside world with your outer world. The problem is that most people don’t use relationships as a resource for deep inner healing. Most people are using relationships as another resource for avoidance, resistance or addiction. Relationships become a passive resource for connection, rather than one of deep transformation. Yoga is union. Yoga is life. Relationships are yet another resource for yoga. Yoga is not just a merging of the self with the divine. Yoga in fact is union on all levels of your being. Union of the human self and the spiritual self. Only when these two bodies begin to dance together with more integration, can you find harmony or unity. Your humanness must learn how to co-create, to be in relationship with, to integrate with, your spirit- then yoga is achieved. This dance of integration is in constant fluctuation and change, yet always seeking balance on some level of existence. It's not easy to work with the hard stuff, the darkness, your human qualities, and to use the pain as a resource for transformation. Very few people are able to do the powerful inner work needed to become enlightened while staying in isolation. The mirrors coming to you from relationships are catalysts for deepening your awakening process. They arrive to help you lean in closer. To awaken new pathways within. When a relationship feels good, it can be a welcome resource to ease and support, to nourish and soothe. But what about the difficult relationships that arrive? How can you use these painful experiences to deepen and awaken yourself from unconscious slumber? When a painful or challenging mirror is shown to you, it is a reminder to look closer at yourself. It has arrived to flash a part of your being to you. A part of yourself that you need to look at very acutely. No one wants to admit they have a mean, horrid or deceitful person hidden inside of them. But if you can work with this shadow more consciously, you will be liberated from it. How willing are you to look into the mirror and use the painful parts of yourself that you despise as your biggest teachers? How willing are you to use the outside mirrors, the people that you hate as your biggest guru? The reality is that these mirrors arriving are in fact the parts of yourself that you refuse to look at. They have to intensify and show up in your face, blatantly screaming, just to get your attention. The longer you repress, suppress and avoid the shadow, the more intense and obnoxious it becomes. If you attract a sad and lonely person, this requires you heal the grief within. If a narcissist appears, you must attend to your inner narcissist. If a whiny, complainer arrives, you must attend to the dissatisfied parts of yourself. If an angry, violent person is presented to you, this enraged person must become your resource for healing your inner violence. Everything that you attract is a resource for your healing work. Every mirror is a reflection of your inner being. This includes your family system and the story of your lineage. Often these parts of ourselves can be suppressed, resisted or avoided for generations, but eventually they will emerge stronger and darker than ever. Eventually there will be a potent expression of the pain, grief, shadow and darkness that has been hidden in the family for generations. These mirrors are resources for healing not only yourself, but the darkness and grief that has been suppressed in your family for generations. When a challenging or painful mirror arrives, do you look closer? Do you lean in or do you push it away? Do you walk past it or do you recognize the mirror being shown to you? When a painful mirror arrives, remember that it is a resource. We have choice and freewill that can determine the outcome. Just to be very clear, using the pain as resource for your healing never requires staying in a dysfunctional or abusive relationship. How we choose to use the challenges will determine the awakening that takes place within. This includes using healthy boundaries. When the same mirror returns over and over again, it is vital that you deepen your inner work and recognize that you are resisting some shadows, parts of yourself that are still hidden. A relationship with another person, is a concentrated relationship with yourself. This is yoga in action. This integration with self and other, with human and spirit, with light and dark, is the path of yoga. The 7th house of the jyotish chart reiterates this expression of yoga, reminding us that everything that arrives on our path is a resource for awakening, transformation and healing. Use the Tapping Meditation below to move, transform and release mental and emotional blockages with relationships. If the words I use don't work for you, change them to align with your own story more closely. Tapping Meditation Use this Tapping Meditation to work through challenging relationships- when you feel stuck, afraid or resistant to change. Remember that we always start with "truth tapping" by expressing feelings and experiences that feel challenging. This is a vital part of the process and paves the way for transformation and healing. In the podcast below, I share a tapping (EFT) sequence with you that will guide you through transforming and releasing the old stories and invite in more receptivity. Remember, we start with identifying the challenges, then moving into possibility and desires in order to transform our shadow into light. Use this podcast as you tap through these points: Karate chop point (side of the hand). Crown of the head. Eyebrow point (above the eye). Side of the eye. Under the eye. Under the nose. Chin point (crease of the chin). Throat point (collar bone/throat chakra). Heart point (center of chest). Stomach point (above the navel). Side body (nipple line at side of chest). Tap six to ten times on each point and just keep cycling through the points. Repeat the phrases I use aloud. Notice any thoughts, stories, memories or emotions that emerge as you tap. These are important pieces to return to, do more tapping on, as a way to clear blockages. As always, if the words I use don't work for you, change them to support your process more fully. Do you ever catch yourself feeling like "it's not enough" on some level of your life? It might show up as not enough money, not enough time, resources, support or love. Perhaps you feel you are not enough- in your relationships, as a parent, with family or at your job. This story of lack, of scarcity, is carried by almost everyone. It shows up in many different ways- affecting your ability to receive the nourishment you need and locking you into a highly critical personal narrative that emerges to undermine your sense of safety and support. You probably feel yourself doing more as a result. Doing more work, putting in more time, feeling depleted in the process. Yet, no matter what you do, you never seem get ahead or conquer this feeling of "it's not enough". The story "it's never enough" is a powerful force- one that will keep you stuck in cycles of malnourishment, instability and co-dependency. Like every human being, your ancestral legacy is handed down to you and your story of scarcity is no different. The patterns, behaviors and experiences that were shared with you epigenetically (or energetically), imprinted your being. Your familial stories hardwired you for making certain choices, having certain behaviors and activated likes and dislikes. My story of scarcity began before I was born. I entered a life where my needs could not be met fully. There was not a feeling of safety and support often nor immense happiness and joy surrounding my birth. I arrived to a mother who was already depleted- taking care of another small child and a partner who was struggling on a variety of levels. My mother's own story of lack had multiplied and taking care of yet another person with needs, I imagine, felt overwhelming to her. When my father died suddenly just after my first birthday, the lack intensified within me. The immense shock, grief and trauma surrounding his death, undermined my ability to feel worthy or supported. In fact, this woundology that I've carried about not being "enough" for my father to stay on the planet, has impacted me greatly. Three years ago my mother passed suddenly and left me with heart wrenching grief. I spent my entire life trying to be "enough" for her and yet again I was not "enough" on some level to keep her here on the planet. Of course on the conscious level, I know this story doesn't make sense, but my unconscious terrain has perpetuated a very shadowed story of "not being enough" as I am. This "not enough" story has been a powerful force that has undermined my ability to feel safe, supported and loved. As I continue to explore the territory of my personal mythology and allow my grief to be a healing force in my inner awakening, life has dramatically shifted. Understanding the nuances of my early childhood experiences and how they have sabotaged and undermined my ability to feel safe, supported, grounded or even willing to stay rooted in my body, has been vital for my recovery process. My story of lack has directly impacted my finances. This ability to feel safe and supported, or to make choices that support further stability, has been directly connected to money. In fact, your relationship with money is always going to mirror to you what your biggest needs are. Where you are stuck in lack, scarcity or "not being enough". Pause here and notice. What is your story with money? Do you always struggle to make ends meet? Are you able to make money, but just can't seem to keep it or save it? Is there plenty of money, but still a sense of depletion and malnourishment anyway? Is your financial stability intimately connected to someone else taking care of you? Notice how your story with money is connected to not feeling like you're "enough" on some level of your life. How does your money story connect with your story of lack in other areas of your life? The fact is they are intimately connected. Wherever you are not feeling "enough" within yourself, this will be mirrored to you within your finances. These old stories and wounds can be re-patterned, changed, healed and transformed. In fact, for the last five years, I've dedicated my efforts to deepening my experience of support and stability- both inner and outer. The massive instability I've experienced, has forced this need to intensify and has activated deeper desires for a sense of grounding. Fortunately my embodiment resources and tools have been a powerful way for me to deepen my relationship with stability and support, changing my story in positive ways. I am happy to share that how I work with my instability is very different these days! My choices are radically different- which means I no longer create the immense instability I used to, nor am I attracting it to myself. I'm also very conscious of the instability when and if it arrives- so I can use it as a resource for deepening my inner change. Metaphorically, the legs and feet are your grounding and stabilizing resources within the body. Legs and feet are connected to the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th houses of the jyotish chart- or Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces as well. The planets connected to these houses and signs can be important resources which may offer you a road map to re-patterning your relationship with stability and support. Use your jyotish chart as a resource for understanding your scarcity, lack and instability story. The process of sustainable and lasting change begins within. It begins with the body, with sensation, with slow steps that move you closer to the feeling of being steady and grounded. When the feelings of instability have been where your focus and attention has been for so many years, it requires diligence and "retraining" in order to strengthen and clarify the feeling of stability instead. The wisdom of somatics and embodiment training are gentle, yet powerful resources for creating lasting inner change. Join me June 26th for an embodied approach to creating abundance. Whatever you're calling into your life- wanting, desiring, creating- there are guaranteed obstacles in your way. This may sound pessimistic, but the simple truth is, if there weren't obstacles keeping you from having what you want, what you desire, you'd already have your goal accomplished.
These obstacles and challenges that are keeping you away from your desired goal or outcome are necessary change agents- if you know how to work with them directly. I often speak about being grateful for challenges and obstacles for this very reason. If you didn't have these challenges, you wouldn't grow very much in this lifetime. That said, too often people do not know how to work with their challenges effectively. They don't continue to gather new resources, they don't reach out for guidance and support, and they don't keep up the consistent work it takes for sustainable results. Getting a new resource here and there, some guidance and support periodically, but not taking consistent, daily measures to create inner change, will not get you the outcome you desire. And certainly not quickly. There are many reasons people don't take consistent, effective action steps for creating life change. Reasons why people don't change, why life never gets better, smoother, more harmonious and nourishing. The most common factors are resistance, avoidance, self sabotage, chaos addiction, high pain tolerance (usually connected to pain addiction). The reality is that life could be radically different tomorrow, just by making different choices today. We all have this option. I find it curious why so often we don't. Why so many people keep choosing ill health, bad relationships, being poor, malnourishment, disempowered, etc. over and over and over again. Why stay in the lack? When these stories can change? I am fascinated by the process of creating life change, and what the factors are that necessitate the change process. Truthfully, every human being on the planet is a powerful creator. Each of us is here to create the most powerful life we can imagine. And yet the grande majority of humans do not. They choose not to live their full potential- or even a small percentage of it. I've never been satisfied with this story, when I know that every human is capable of so much more! Herein lies the biggest part of the change process: potential. It's here. Like a seed. It just needs the right conditions in order for the growth process to take place. That's where you come in. That's where your seed tending requires willingness and diligence. Each one of us gets to decide what types of seeds we choose to grow- more weeds or something more brilliant, more fruitful. As the theory of epigenetics states- conditions, choices, environment and behavior have more to do with a person's life experiences, than genetics. Quite simply, it's your choices that determine what genes are turned on and which ones are turned off. What you choose to turn on and off is solely determined by your choices. This is the free will expressed in your jyotish chart. The reason why a chart expresses the karmas you've arrived with (that which can't be changed), yet the rest is an expression of tendencies, not precise outcomes. Thankfully, you can change much of your chart, your karmas, and create very different results for yourself. I am passionate about helping my clients see the possibilities they have karmically and supporting their change process. After all, being alive in a human body means there is potential for growth, evolution, change, awareness and expansion of consciousness. Why be here on the planet if you have no ability to change your life circumstances? I continue to study the change process, which in my eyes is the healing process. Healing is not a linear process, neither is change. The resources I use for creating change, support the Four Pathways of Healing, in order for well-rounded, fully integrated healing to take place. But all healing starts with identification. Which is why I love jyotish so much. It is the ideal resource for identifying blockages, challenges, obstacles. Remember these factors are the change agents that support your healing process. This is truly step number one. Every challenge, obstacle or struggle in your way to changing, is a result of inner conflict- polarities that are not in harmony with each other. The outcome you desire would easily arrive, if it weren't for this inner battle. The reality is that part of you wants to change, while another part of you does not. It's vital to identify these two parts of yourself in order to heal and transform. Ready to create more inner harmony and deepen your healing work- personally and with your clients?! Please join me for my Jyotish Astrology Mastermind. Sign UP Now So what's the fast path to healing, transforming and creating change? Here are my six steps for creating lasting change and diffusing inner conflict: 1) Acknowledge and Identify What's Not Working. What challenge, obstacle or struggle are you facing? What level of your being is this obstacle manifesting on? Physical, Mental, Emotional, or Spiritual? Perhaps one or more levels of your being is being effected. Take note of where and how this challenge is emerging within you. This is the first step to creating change. Using your jyotish chart to clarify how these challenges are effecting you will support swift and lasting change. For example if you are struggling with finances and lack of money, this will be apparent in your jyotish chart- possibly through Venus or the Second House. It may be an imbalance (ie: conflict between opposing forces) that is rooted in the mental body, but effecting your physical body. 2) Identify Polarities. Once you identify what is not working, what the challenge or obstacle is, you can identify what the conflict truly is. Remember that whatever the desire, whatever you say you want to create in your life, always has another side that isn't in agreement. The conflict will always sounds something like "I want this but". Listen to the "but" because this is other side, the duality that is keeping you from creating your desire and manifesting it. Part of you wants the change. Part of you does not. You must start here in order to get somewhere else. 3) Find the Need. Now that you have identified the challenge and the opposing forces within you, it's time to acknowledge the needs that each of these parts has. Part of you wants the change, part of you does not. Listen closely to the part of you that does not want the change. This part of you is a vital messenger- the part of you that will disclose the reason for your resistance, avoidance, self sabotage, etc. Ask this part of you what it needs. "I hear you do not want this change. What do you need from me? What are you trying to tell me?" Imagine yourself asking a small child, a loved one, or perhaps a client. Let this part of you speak and share with you. 4) Honor Your Polarities. So you have these two parts. One says I want this change, the other part of you says it does not. You've asked, you've listened to this part of you that says "no" and you've heard it whisper a message to you. You're leaning in. You're listening. You're honoring. Just by listening and acknowledging, you are honoring. When you honor, you are present, holding, giving space to parts of yourself that may have never been witnessed before. Honoring means offering loving kindness, compassion and on some level, acceptance, for these parts within that may not be speaking to each other, that may have never learned how to speak to you, let alone to each other. 5) Opening to Harmony and Integration. Something begins to dissolve, loosen its grip, when it gets heard, acknowledged and spoken. When the darkness and challenges that are so often suppressed and locked away, hidden within, emerge on the surface of our being and they are honored, change can take place. As you honor your inner conflicts and their needs, a new possibility can emerge. You may even say to yourself "I am open to the possibility of finding a new way of being with these two parts of myself." As you open to new possibilities, you open the door of harmony and integration automatically. Notice how this possibility feels within you. Do you feel some softening arrive, just saying yes to possibility alone? 6) Stay Open to Possibility. As you continue to say yes to the possibility of finding a new way of being with your inner conflict, these opposing forces within you, keep allowing the possibility to arrive. Keep saying yes to the possibility of finding a new way of being with your opposing forces- the yes and the no. Acknowledge that you don't know what this looks like, what it feels like, what this means for you and your life. But simultaneously, keep saying yes to the possibility that there is a way. There is a way to find harmony and integration with your inner conflicts, with the part that says yes to change and no to change. This is a vital step in the change and transformation process. The mental body far too often "needs to know" an outcome, which can stop you from staying open and receptive to possibility and new pathways. Try to stay out of the "how" and stay in the "I'm open and receptive to a new way". 7) Finding Unity. Unifying polarities has a distinct feeling. It brings ease, release, softness and a certain gentleness with it. Often it is marked with a swelling of gratitude, love, joy and peace. The conflict dissolves and more fluidity takes its place. There is no force- just surrender to the flow of energy. Unifying polarities can take moments, or it can take days, weeks or months- depending on how effectively you are working with the layers of resistance. Continuing to arrive into the "possibility" of harmonizing your opposing forces, opens the door to creating more dialogue between these different parts of yourself. Continue to hold the different parts of your being and allow them to be witnessed, acknowledge and listened to. This is a process of learning how to love and accept all parts of yourself, which is essentially how inner unity takes place. These seven steps are greatly supported with resources, tools and modalities that create energetic shifts on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual body levels. You can also use these steps directly with your tapping (EFT) process, as well as embodiment and art therapy processes. The path from challenge and conflict, to inner harmony and unity, is supported with deep listening, acceptance, allowing needs to emerge, while staying open to possibility, but staying out of the "how". Balance is achieved through a process of integrating and harmonizing inner polarities- on all four levels of your being. The true meaning of balance is unifying the opposing forces within the bodies- mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. This is the path of yoga, union, and includes the integration of masculine and feminine polarities. As you keep dipping into the unity and finding the harmony within, the energy being used to stay in battle with yourself, dissolves, releases and transforms. Suddenly this inner power unleashes your creative intelligence and you are moving swiftly towards your goals and desires- with clarity, purpose and deep inner knowing. You are a powerful force! Dissolve the inner battles and reclaim your power. Throughout the Vedic texts, there are countless tales of good forces battling evil forces, the light always overtaking the darkness. One of the most potent example of dissolving inner conflict between opposing forces, is depicted in the Bhagavad Gita. Arjuna contemplates whether to fight his family members in order to restore dharma. It is a timeless battle between polarities, duality- one that is expressed both internally and externally for Arjuna. This battle mirrors the story each one of us faces daily- as we choose to take on inner conflict, or choose to avoid it. Avoiding does not make it go away. Lord Krishna was clear to Arjuna that he must go into battle, he must address this conflict head on. This is my philosophy for healing and transformation. By using our warrior spirit, we can make great strides quickly, and restore balance, harmony and dharma- inner and outer. The Bhagavad Gita speaks of the path to yoga, to moksha or liberation using jnana (knowledge, especially through experience), bhakti (devotion on the heart level), karma (action), Raja Yoga (transcendence or samadhi), samkhya (philosophy). These are resources for awakening pathways of change and transformation. They also uphold and support change on the four levels of being- Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual. The steps I've outlined above are an expression of this inner change process, the process of resolution or inner harmony. Balance, peace and integration do not come from force or brutality, but from acceptance, acknowledgment, compassion and honoring. When all parts of our being feel safe, feel held and supported, then, and only then, can inner unity take place. In the Expressive Art Therapy realm, we call this "the Third". Some know it as the Transcendent, or simply the emergent. The sign Gemini in fact symbolizes this creative process, as it expresses "the Third" quite literally. Not only is Gemini a number three, but in the Vedic tradition, the symbol is two lovers who co-create, bringing forth a third energy. I have been particularly interested in polarities myself because my personal jyotish chart is full of them! This began to fascinate me (or challenge me rather) many years ago when I began studying my chart. I knew there were extremes presented, and I experienced them within me, yet I didn't know how to reconcile this. Starting with a Scorpio ascendant- which truly symbolizes the transformational energy of polarities combining. I also have a powerful combination of fire and water in my chart. And we all know what happens when fire and water meet! This theme of fire and water began to emerge over and over again in my paintings and movement practice. The polarities wouldn't leave me alone! I have danced with the question of integration for years, and recently I had a break through! If you're interested in your inner harmony, read on! And join me for my new, revolutionary weekly Jyotish Astrology Group Coaching Classes just for women. Jyotish speaks to the mystery of polarities very intimately. Each sign in fact shares some level of this dance between polarities. Other parts of jyotish express polarities in different ways- whether it is through the masculine and feminine, the elements, the deities, Natural Laws, cycles, rhythms, life and death, Sun and Moon, inner realms and outer realms, etc. Because Vedic Astrology is a science based on the cosmos, it is deeply connected to cycles, rhythms and movement. When we track the cosmos, we are tracking our own inner cosmic nature. Thus, Jyotish can tell us a lot about our own dance with polarities. Even the lunar nodes, or shadow points, in your chart are polar opposites of each other, and always look directly at each other seven houses away. Not surprisingly they can tell you a lot about your inner dance with polarities and what inner conflicts you are here to harmonize and integrate in this life time. I'm convinced that this is in fact the secret to inner peace, unity, enlightenment. The non-dual, the non conflict within. What is yoga? Union! How is this achieved? Through harmonizing polarities within the body- the masculine and feminine energies, essentially. When we boil polarities down to their essence, it will always connect you back to the masculine and feminine. This is the most vital ingredient for your inner harmony. But how do you integrate these extremes? There are many methods for uniting the polarities within and the Vedic tradition is arguably the most ancient resource for this process. As with all branches of the Ved, they support the process of union, or enlightenment. My favorite resource is Vedic Astrology because it is truly a road map for one's life quest- inner and outer. Jyotish is a light source for identifying the blockages within you- Physically, Mentally, Emotionally and Spiritually. These blockages are keeping you from fully integrating your polarities. The wisdom of jyotish is an immense and powerful resource for healing and transformation. Here's what to look for in your jyotish chart: For starters, identify your rising sign, Sun and Moon signs. Notice their symbol. What does their symbol say about who you are and what you need in this life? Your rising sign will tell you how you see the world. It is the main influence of your chart because it organizes all other factors. For example, a polarity can exist if you have a water sign with your Sun sitting in it. This would be a very exact conflict between masculine and feminine energies. Individual planets may express themselves through conflict as well. Let's say your natal Moon is in a nakshatra ruled by the Sun. Or if the soft, gentle and friendly Moon is in a harsh or fierce nakshatra, this will naturally stir conflict within- especially within the emotional body. Any planet in opposition with another planet will also cause a "war" or constant battle within. Mars and Saturn for example, if conjunct, will battle over action and non action. The jyotish chart can show you quite directly where the polarities are within you. More importantly, where the conflicts are. These conflicts within are occurring on different levels of your being- Physically, Mentally, Emotionally or Spiritually. Think about when you are in an argument with someone. What happens to you- on the four levels of your being? You may feel tense, contracted, heated, stressed or all of the above. Think about your mental body being in this state constantly on some inner level of your being? Your emotional body? Physical or Spiritual bodies? Your jyotish chart can tell you where these conflicts are rooted in your being. This identification can be used as a resource to unravel the inner conflict, to harmonize or integrate the extremes within you. When any part of your body is in conflict with another part, there will be a an inability to be fully nourished, or unified. I encourage and advocate a well rounded healing process so that there is full support and awakening for the entire being- not just one part of it. I've written extensively recently about the signs of inner conflict. In fact, challenges and obstacles in life are nothing more than mirrors being held up to show you where you are not fully harmonized or integrated. Other signs are self sabotage, chaos, stress, overwhelm, etc. Challenges don't just happen! These are parts of your being asking for your attention. When the challenge manifests on the conscious or visible level, you know this is an inner conflict asking for your attention. Read my article and use my Tapping Meditation Podcast to identify inner challenges. Since the ultimate polarity always comes back to masculine and feminine, I think it's important to understand this dynamic very intimately. Working with these Laws of Nature are vital for working with these parts of yourself and others, so that you are not always pushing against the natural tendencies they offer. First, it must be noted that both masculine and feminine have their own polarities as well. There are shadow sides to both the masculine and feminine, which can often misconstrue the way we see them. Share your experiences below! What emerged for you in this process? Excited to hear from you! Awaken Your True Self I've shared over the past few weeks, the many challenges of the Eclipse Portal. How it intensified challenges and obstacles, the shadow, in order for deeper healing to take place within. Though the Eclipse Portal has closed, working with the shadow continues. I, like many, used the eclipse portal to meet my challenges head on. Deep, oozy grief emerged within me. Rather than pushing it away and forcing myself to "keep it together", I allowed myself to get messy. If my grief has taught me anything, it's that I need to allow the mess within me to have a voice, to speak. Through daily tapping, creative rituals, movement, rest, staying in my pajamas and laying in bed for days on end, I eventually emerged on the other side of this mess, with a new understanding of my shadow, and a deep, powerful release as well. Attending to my shadow very consciously, allowed me to clear, move and release my shadow. I was able to transform it and in the process, create space for something more powerful to flow through me- my creativity! As I let go of the layers of suppressed anger and sadness, I began to grieve a very old part of myself. Much to my surprise, this was my inner teenager! Her wild ways and strong ferocity had not been honored in many years. In fact, I had to dismiss her, negate her wisdom and intelligence for survival many years ago. I took vows to keep her locked away and hidden. Suppressing her wild, creative wisdom has cost me dearly. Her Durga-like energy is in fact my True Self, so not being fully aligned with her is a loss I can't afford. As I used my resources to transform the anger and sadness, suddenly more space was created within me. Space that allowed my creative energy to flow more dynamically. This space was created by integrating inner conflict, finding harmony between my polarities and honoring the wisdom of my wild feminine wisdom. With my inner Durga awakening, her untamed wisdom no longer in my shadow, a new burst of energy has emerged in me. One that has allowed me to align with my dharmic work more fully, more authentically. In fact, the clarity that emerged from this process, has allowed me to create an even more powerful course to support your healing and transformation process. Deepen and awaken your inner feminine wisdom with jyotish, embodiment and creativity! I'm so ecstatic to share this offering with you! Get the Details Here. I'll be sharing more resources in the coming days- during the nine day Vedic Celebration of Navaratri- to support your own transformational process and help you align with your feminine wisdom. I've also posted a new tapping meditation podcast below to support you with leaning into your feminine wisdom. As you deepen your relationship with your wild, feminine wisdom, trust your steps. The journey is not necessarily easy, or comfortable, but the results are well worth navigating the rocky terrain of your inner landscape. Pulling up old roots, in order to plant new seeds, will provide you with a rich and potent harvest. Five steps to remember as you deepen your relationship with Her: - Any obstacle or blockage can be overcome by increasing your creative intelligence. Where is your resistance to this life force energy? To the nourishment? - Aligning authentically with your True Self requires the removal of any vows you have taken (consciously or unconsciously). These vows block your creative life force energy and keep you resistant to change. Many are tribal, familial, cultural or ancestral. - Your emotions and your emotional body wisdom will show you the way. Emotional body literacy helps you identify needs and will help you find new resources for your growth. Your feelings will tell you everything! - Receptivity, being able to receive fully, is vital for increased creative flow and nourishment. Where are you resisting the flow? - Self care practices increase your receptivity, the ability to receive nourishment. Make sure you're attending to self care on all four levels of your being- Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual. Notice where there are holes in your Self Care practices. Increasing Your Receptivity Your Creative Intelligence is your wild feminine wisdom. Increase your ability to receive Shakti, life force energy, and you will increase your Creativity Intelligence naturally. What's keeping you from fully embracing all the nourishment that surrounds you? What is keeping you from receiving the abundance of Nature and Her gifts? What type of relationship do you have with your Divine Feminine wisdom? Simply put, you have blockages in the way, keeping certain channels clogged, restricted, overburdened with toxins. When your channels of receiving are restricted, the flow can't move through you fully. These blockages may be on the physical, emotional, mental or spiritual body levels- or all four pathways. Removing the blockages from all four levels of your being, is essential for maximum life force energy to be received. Navigating your inner terrain very consciously is essential for identifying these obstacles and blockages. As you identify these blockages, you can then strategically use this information to make deep, inner change. Removing blockages that hinder your life force energy is essential for more life force energy and more flow. Increased creative flow, more life force energy, will increase your ability to receive money, health, vitality, love, relationships, comforts, ideas, artistry and inner harmony. Both Moon and Venus symbolize these factors in your jyotish chart. Their placements in your natal chart will show you where there is restriction. The effects the other planets have on your Venus and Moon will either support or hinder this flow. The other planets in your chart will also show you what channels are open and which ones are blocked. This is why jyotish is such a powerful resource for healing and transformation. The trick to changing and transforming the blockages is working with your full range of being, your entire inner landscape- not just the parts that you like, or feel good. Leaning into what is not working, the obstacles and challenges, can be the most effective way to clear your pathways for increased flow. Challenges and blockages are the mirror you need to identify what needs to change. Integration is Essential for More Flow This divine Shakti flow is essential in order to deepen your relationship with creativity. Creativity brings more ideas, more imagination, more money, more health and vitality, more passion, more pleasure. More of the good stuff! If you want more of the good stuff, you have to clear the blockages keeping you from receiving more. It may seem obvious, but if you can't receive this creative nourishment, you won't be able to increase this in your life. The Divine Feminine wisdom within is your receptive energy. She is your ability to be in receiving and feel the juicy, goodness of your life. This requires that you are in harmony with your feminine energy (expansion, opening, fluidity) and your masculine energy (containment, restriction, the known). Most people (men and women) have never learned how to use masculine and feminine energy in a way that promotes balance, inner harmony and vitality- rather than depletion and chaos. When the masculine and feminine polarities are at odds with each other, this conflict will increase fear, resistance, deep inner challenge, turmoil, overwhelm, self-sabotage behaviors and intensified shadow to emerge. This inner conflict is at the root of all major dis-ease. These inner conflicts will often manifest externally as a way to help you identify the imbalances. What relationships are you in conflict with? So many of these imbalances within the masculine and feminine energies are expressed by the conflicts in the world. How do you know if your masculine and feminine energies are in conflict? Notice the parts of your self that are saying yes, when the rest of you is saying no. Some parts may be saying no, while other parts are saying yes. Remember that outer conflicts are just bright, flashing mirrors that are being held up for you to look more closely so you can identify your own inner conflicts. Who and what are you in conflict with? This battle is at play within you as well. Can you tell? Integrating polarities, healing the conflicts and finding harmony between your opposing forces is the fast track to deeper receptivity and receiving more nourishment in life. When inner polarities align, all the energy that was being used to stay in battle, is suddenly freed up. This energy can then be used in life supporting ways. Your energy will naturally start moving in a direction that supports greater nourishment and harmony. Learning how to integrate polarities and deepen your receptivity is a powerful resource for awakening your full potential. Your feminine wisdom is vital for increasing more nourishment in your life. She will show you the way and help you navigate the uncharted territory of your inner terrain. I'm so passionate about supporting women in this process of inner integration!
