“Don’t surrender you loneliness so quickly. Let it cut more deep. Let it ferment and season you as few human or even divine ingredients can.” - Hafiz As the year comes to a close, one final full Moon occurs on December 29th at 20:27 MT while Moon is transiting Gemini and Ardra nakshatra. This is a powerful close to an incredible year. Out like a lion, in like a lamb?! Out with ferocity, in with space for something new. This full Moon asks you to clear, purge and release stagnant emotions and lingering grief from the previous cycles. Expect big waves and inner storms. Big gains may be likely, but make sure you are grounded or you will get destabilized. Ardra is Rudra’s domain. There is nothing small, silent or still when it involves Rudra. He comes with big energy and powerful, often forceful, change. The domain of Ardra is particularly connected to big emotional body waves. The symbol of this constellation is a tear drop. Wherever there has been a build up of undigested emotion, Ardra will force the release. This is a potent time to do your grief work, attend to your inner waters, and support the release of stagnant emotions. Spend some time with your emotional body and be diligent with your inner waves. What are you still processing from this year? What needs to be closed and released so you can move forward? What is the wisdom of your emotional body sharing with you? What needs to be digested and integrated from this year? What feels too big or overwhelming still? What are you moving away from? What are you moving towards? What is your relationship with the emotional body helping you discover and awaken? Creative Ritual Identifying Your Inner Landscape I consider the four level check in to be the most basic self care resource. It is an identification process, a tool that can help you honor what is happening in the now. You can then create the nourishment you need through proper resources. The four levels of awareness are: the mental body, emotional body, physical body, and spiritual body. I encourage you to self track daily, hourly, or even moment to moment. Your identification process can then be taken into drawing, movement explorations, journaling or music, in order for you to deepen, directly work with, and transform what is arriving in your inner landscape. The four level check in is a simple, yet vital resource for self tracking. Document your four level check-ins. Use a Self Care Journal as a way to track your ongoing, ever changing inner landscape. This journal can be a helpful resource for identifying themes emerging in your healing and transforming process. Steps for A Four Level Check In 1) Whatever you are doing right now, hit the pause button and bring your attention inward. It may help to close your eyes, but this isn't necessary. You may be sitting, standing or walking, but bring your attention to the now regardless of what is happening around you. Notice your breath and use this as a resource for coming back to the present. 2) Notice the physical body. What sensations are arriving in your body? What is the physical body sharing with you? Be present to images, colors, words, expressions and shapes that arise. 3) Notice the emotional body. What is arriving on the level of feelings and emotions within you? What is the emotional body sharing with you? Be present to images, colors, words, expressions and shapes that arise. 4) Notice the mental body. What thoughts, words, stories, ideas, or perceptions are arriving? What is the mental body sharing with you? Be present to images, colors, words, expressions and shapes that arise. 5) Notice the spiritual body. This is a very subtle, nuanced place within and around you. Notice how it feels and how it arrives. Be present to images, colors, words, expressions and shapes arriving from the spiritual body. 6) Come to your drawing pad and draw four circles. Each one of these circles represents one of your four bodies. Start with the physical body and fill in your sensation circle with colors, images, or shapes that mirror or express your physical body check in. Do this for each body. 7) Label each circle with the body that it represents. Title each circle and let it speak. If your physical body circle could speak, what would it say? Let it respond to these statements: I am I want I need Complete this harvesting process for each level of your body. This is an important time for self reflection, digestion, and integration of the previous cycles. Spend some time in the coming days and weeks harvesting from your past year and creating a sense of closure. Look back over your 2020 Creative Rituals. What have you created this year? What strikes you? As you create closure for this year, allow ritual to support your release process. What steps can you take to honor this closure and release? What rituals can help you close this chapter and let go? I encourage you to find ways that art, music, dance, sound, nature and the elements can support the close of your year. It’s been wonderful to walk with you this year and to support your cosmic and creative process! Keep Growing in 2021! Have you struggled to find a sidereal moon calendar to plan your year?! July begins with a powerful new Moon in Ardra nakshatra and a total solar eclipse. The intensity of this combination will be felt days in advance, ushering in an emotional eclipse portal that will end mid month. Ardra nakshatra is notorious for creating big storms- internally and environmentally. Bring a rain jacket and prepare for larger than normal inner waves this eclipse cycle. On July 2nd, the new Moon occurs at 13:17 MT while Sun and Moon collide in Gemini within the constellation of Ardra. Four planets, Sun, Moon, Rahu and venus, conjunct in Gemini, the sign of all things communication and self expression. Rahu's shadow intensifies this combination, causing confusion, uncertainty, darkness and doubt to emerge. The challenging exact conjunction of Saturn and Ketu is looking directly at these four planets from Sagittarius, causing the sense of breaking, restructuring, struggle and sudden change to arrive. This planetary dynamic is intense, but the added pressure of a total solar eclipse will increase the challenges present, inviting all of us to face internal shadows that have previously gone unnoticed or disregarded. This is a cycle of waking up and creating new awareness. There is a dawning taking place, new light emerging, however, this light comes with facing darkness and struggle. Relationships, communication, creativity and self expression may feel blocked, uncertain or painful. Gains will come with effort, focus and restructuring. Your inner light may feel dim, so find ways to remember your power and purpose, even when frustrated or challenged by circumstances. Eclipses intensify everything and tend to make mountains out of mole hills. We may get lost in the overwhelm and negativity during this two week cycle, so keep moving toward the light. Stay positive and look for solutions rather than focusing on the darkness, but do not bypass the necessary inner work that you are being asked to show up for. This is a powerful time to address inner shadows head on and release inner blockages that you've been overlooking. Ardra nakshatra is ruled by the storm god, Rudra. He rules over strong storms energy, big emotions, inner and outer upheaval and undigested grief that is disguised as anger and rage. Notice your emotions and be willing to lean closer. Why might you be feeling this way? What can your emotions tell you about your deeper needs? What do your challenging emotions help you identify? What are they asking for? Your willingness to honor your big emotions will support their release. Stay present and willing to be with your challenging parts. There is something trying to push through and come to the surface. Are you listening? What needs to change? Your emotional body waves are asking for more nourishment. Be willing to support the release so that you have space for more of what you truly want and need. This eclipse portal begins with a total solar eclipse on July 2nd and lasts for two weeks. The July 2nd solar eclipse begins at 10:55 am MT and ends at 15:50 MT, with the maximum eclipse occurring at 13:22 MT. The solar eclipse is only visible from South America. This waxing cycle completes with full a Moon, Guru Purnima and a partial lunar eclipse on July 16th. A reminder that this two week cycle is not a time to start new projects. Finish up projects and take necessary action steps prior to the new Moon in order to prepare for the weeks ahead. Emotions tend to intensify during eclipses and shadows are much stronger. You may feel less clear and focused so don't make sudden decisions. Challenges often intensify so we can see them more clearly and make the necessary changes that will support new growth. This can be a time of immense inner transformation if used properly. Even though this eclipse is not visible in the Northern Hemisphere, from a Vedic perspective, it is not advised to be outside during an eclipse or to look directly at the eclipse taking place. Wear a head covering if you have to be outside so you don't absorb the shadow. Ideally, this is a time for spiritual practices such as meditation, chanting and fasting. Set intentions and honor the sensitivity of this time. It is also widely recognized that during and between eclipses, starting new endeavors will not bring positive results. No new projects, relationships or activities should start in the eclipse portal. Notice what needs are arriving, then take action after the eclipse portal closes. Best to lay low, attend to spiritual pursuits, get extra rest and work with your inner shadow very consciously during this cycle. Use the two week Eclipse cycle for spiritual practices, rest, retreat and your dharmic path. Set intentions for the coming weeks and honor your self care. Honor you emotional body wisdom and confront your inner shadows. Make necessary changes in your actions and choices. Release negative thought patterns, behaviors and inner dialogue that is keeping you stuck in patterns and cycles of lack. Clear, release and let go so that you have even more space for your deepest nourishment. Creative RitualThis Creative Ritual will also help you work directly with your challenges- emotion or otherwise. Take your challenge into a creative process and see what develops! Step #1 Movement Exploration. What emotion are you feeling? Is it anger, depression, frustration, chaos, uncertainty? Start dancing this emotion. What does it feel like in your body? Do the "dance of anger" for example. What emerges as you do your anger dance?! Remember to let sounds out! Move and develop your dance for at least minutes. When you feel a sense of closure, ask yourself these questions: I sense, I feel, I imagine. Step #2 Create an image of your emotion. What does it feel like? Put it on paper using colors, textures and shapes. Create an image that expresses your experience with this emotion and whatever emerged in your dance. Spend at least 5 to 20 minutes creating this image. I suggest using paints or craypas and a large piece of paper. Title your image. In your journal or on the back of the drawing answer this question: If your image could speak what would it say? Step #3 Harvesting. Answer these baseline statements and questions in your journal once you have completed the previous steps. I am___ I want___ I need___ What am I opening to? What am I closing to? Recycle this process whenever strong emotions emerge. Remember they arrive to give you important messages. Listen carefully and honor them with deeper listening. What is the emotion telling you? What do you need for deeper nourishment in your life? Listen to my Podcast "How to Befriend Your Emotional Body" Clarify Your Souls Purpose

Book Your Session Now Coinciding with the still point of the year, the December Full Moon comes in with a powerful roar in Ardra nakshatra. Winter Solstice (in the Northern Hemisphere) occurs on December 21st at 15:23 MT, a time when life seems to stop, or stand still. "The term Solstice comes from the Latin word solstitium, meaning 'the Sun stands still'. This is because on this day, the Sun reaches its southern-most position as seen from the Earth. The Sun seems to stand still at the Tropic of Capricorn and then reverses its direction. It's also common to call it the day the Sun turns around." - Via Time and Date As the still point arrives and the reversal of the light takes place, it is a powerful time for introspection and release. This is a time to attend to shadows, grief and undigested emotions. Clearing, purging and releasing lingering emotions from the past cycle will create space for the new, opening you to more life force in the months ahead. As the darkness strengthens right now, lean closer. Lean into your fears, challenges, pain and grief. Let it speak to you. Honor its wisdom and validity Remember that ignoring your darkness only makes it stronger. Your capacity to feel the joy of life is determined by how much grief you have in your body. The natural cycles of darkness support the healing and release of grief within your body- if you honor and acknowledge it. Pay attention to your darkness and listen carefully. The Sun (light) has just left Scorpio, the darkest of the twelve signs. He's now in the gap between Scorpio and Sagittarius in a notorious gandanta- Mula. You may be feeling this instability and uncertainty surface in your life right now. Notice it and don't turn away. What changes are needed in order to find more ground? With all the layers of darkness present right now, it's an important time for honesty- with ourselves and others. As we arrive at the still point of the year, deep presence is possible. What are you noticing? What do you see? What are you acknowledging- even though it's hard to look at? Be courageous in your presence. Honor the dark wisdom arriving. Show up for yourself and your shadow. Be with your darkness so you can find the other side, the light. The December Full Moon occurs hours after the transition of the Sun, occurring on the 22nd at 10:48 am MT. This is a particularly powerful full Moon as it takes place in the portion of the sky ruled by the storm god, Rudra. He is notorious for big emotional expression- the release of grief through anger, tears and violence. He brings big waves within the emotional body and activates release, purging and destruction. Rudra rules the portion of the sky called Ardra nakshatra which falls within the sign of Gemini. This constellation is considered Tikshna, which means sharp and dreadful. It cuts, severs and attacks. It is particularly useful when harsh, destructive or painful actions must be taken. Though Ardra nakshatra can offer immense pain and suffering, the relationship with grief must be acknowledged here. Suffering intensifies when we resist the darkness, the struggles, the pain and losses we experience. The intensity of Ardra nakshatra (and Rudra) occurs when the powerful emotional body within is ignored, suppressed, avoided or disconnected. The violent inner storms increase when the waves are not attended to regularly, when they are not honored or acknowledged as normal, valid and valuable parts of the human experience. Ardra nakshatra invites (or forces) us to look at our challenging emotions, our grief, so that it can be released and cleared. On the other side of this grief is space to feel something else- equally as powerful. The waning cycle ahead is a request to lean closer to your own darkness and shadow. Your grief, losses and struggles. It's a call for help, a beckoning from your emotional body wisdom. Do you lean closer or do you keep resisting the pain? What needs are surfacing? What does your emotional body tell you it needs? What shifts, changes or adjustments need to be made in order to get your needs met? Need clarity for the year ahead? Wondering what direction to take? It reminds you that a boundary has been crossed, that something feels unfair, that you have been wronged in some way. When you experience anger, there is an opportunity to find clarity about your needs and step into your power with more purpose. Far too often though, anger becomes an unconscious reactive emotion that never gets to truly serve its purpose- to wake you up! Right now, the planet and particularly the United States, is being called into action. So many are feeling very old, deeply embedded anger and rage rise to the surface. You may be feeling anger as a result of your own personal mythology, as well as a result of the collective consciousness. Allowing your anger to move through you is potent medicine. But even more important than it's movement, is actually harvesting from this emotion. Understanding the deeper layers of your anger can help you awaken to needs, more nourishment and empowerment. What you don't want to do is suppress your anger, or use it in ways that harm yourself and others. Systemically suppressed anger can become depression- which is ultimately a result of resisting your power. Anger is in fact a resource for tapping into your power, purpose and dharma! Here Are Four Ways to Release Anger Right Now: #1: Anger is often a first response emotion. It can become an addiction to feel anger- especially if this is the way you learned how to feel and express. Anger happens to be the most socially acceptable emotion, so most people default to anger quite easily. Step number one is to get into the habit of checking in with the four levels of your being and do a self audit. This process can help you identify the experiences happening within your inner landscape so you don't disconnect from your body and emotions. Do A Self Audit #2: What are you angry about? Who are you angry at? Consider this your challenge. Now use my Challenge Creative Ritual to identify, move and transform your anger into potent awareness. #3: Move your anger safely. Release anger and rage by screaming, yelling, punching pillows, throwing things (without harming yourself or anyone/anything else) and stomping. Get the sound of your anger out in a safe, contained space. Let the emotion move out and through your body. #4: Tap and Rant. EFT is a powerful resource for moving emotions- especially anger. Tap on the heart point in the center of the chest or tap through the points as you speak your anger aloud. Don't hold back. Tapping through the points as you express your anger, will support its movement and release, without it getting stuck in your body. Need some extra support? The waning cycle ahead is equally intense so be mindful of your need to ground and land- even while this storm energy is moving through. It will be especially important to be diligent with the mental body in the days ahead, as it will be strong and ready for action. Can you tame the mind, rather than let it run away with you? Time in nature and in meditation will serve you well as the Moon begins to release in the days ahead. Even with the intensity and power of this cycle, retreat, alone time and silence are more essential than ever. Resist the urge to force your steps and push for outcomes. Moon is in Ardra nakshatra at the time of the Full Moon. Rudra, the storm god, rules this portion of the sky. His energy is sharp and action oriented. There is drive, force and even aggression with this constellation. Expect big bursts of emotion and energy, while tempering extremes and imbalance. How can you channel this energy with intention and insight? The symbol of this nakshatra is a tear drop, inviting grief, sadness and the wisdom of loss to burst from the emotional body. However, this portion of the sky is more prone to anger than touching the sadness that lies underneath. Expect emotional upheaval and plan for grounding, gentleness and safe containers to hold you. Can you touch the anger within? What lies underneath your anger? What needs are surfacing. Find healthy ways to release your emotions in the days ahead. What supports your emotional body movement? What resources allow you to ground, land and connect within? Use this waning cycle to cut and release ties that are unhealthy and under nourishing- especially relationships. There may be anger at others, or others may be aggressive towards you. Use clear boundaries and honor your needs. Focus on your inner needs and cultivate practices of presence and connection with self and others. The pelvis and lower body may feel unstable in the days ahead. Stay rooted in your sacral chakra and heart. It's time to heal and be healed. Release conflicts and inner battles. What is keeping you disconnected? Deepen your inner power and purpose. Land in your heart and root into the earth. Use the power available at this time to move into bold new territory in all areas of your life. Let this cycle help you deepen your inner power and purpose. Take empowered action steps. Be bold, courageous and visible. This will require that you lean into your shadow and personal mythology- especially on the mental body level. Where are you deceiving yourself? Playing small and disempowering yourself? It's time to step up and step in. The coming days will require you to look at your darkness, shadow and illusions more closely. Use this to help you transform, change, heal and grow. The immense power available in this cycle ushers in an exciting and remarkable year ahead. This is not the time to play small. Put power behind your desires and ask for more. The only thing standing in your way, is you! Horoscopes for 2018 are coming! Creative RitualCreate A Life of Thriving With These Five Steps: Step #1 Write a list of all the things you are grateful for. List the people, experiences and parts of your life that truly make you feel glad to be alive. Are you grateful for your health? Your children? Your garden? Your amazing clients? Put it on the list! Step #2 As you look at your gratitude list, pause and be still. Where do you feel the sensation of gratitude in your body? Can you feel it rising up from your belly or spreading across your chest? Try to locate the sensation and clearly identify it. Use this physical body feeling as a tuning fork. Keep coming back to this sensation as a way to touch in with the feeling of thriving and nourishment. More of that please! This is what you want to create more of in your life! Step #3 Create an image of this feeling of gratitude and the sensation of nourishment it brings into your body. Use craypas, paints, collage, pen and ink or any other medium that inspires you. Use colors, textures and shapes to create your image. Take 20+ minutes to create your image then give it a title. Step #4 Move your image. Use your image to inspire a movement exploration. Let your body move in response to your nourishment image with an intention of "moving with your feelings of nourishment". What sensations emerge for you during your dance? What awareness? Allow 5 to 10 minutes for this movement exploration. Step #5 Harvest in your journal some of your key findings from this process. Answer these statements: I sense___ I feel____ I imagine____ Bonus Step: Pick a few people to share your gratitude with. The best way to amplify this feeling is to share it with others! Use post it notes for a quick thank you or get more elaborate and write out a love note to someone special. Write a sweet message of gratitude to your child or give your neighbor a friendly mailbox surprise. JOIN ME and the Moon Tribe for 7 Days of Gratitude. Read more about what to expect with June's transits. Solstice occurs on June 20th at 22:24 Mountain Time. In the Northern Hemisphere, this is the longest day of the year in terms of daylight, also called the Summer Solstice. In the Southern Hemisphere, on the other hand, it is the shortest day of the year and is known as the Winter Solstice. Solstice comes from the Latin words sol, meaning Sun and sistere, meaning to come to a stop or stand still. On the day of the June Solstice, the Sun reaches its northernmost position, as seen from the Earth. At that moment, its zenith does not move north or south as during most other days of the year, but it stands still at the Tropic of Cancer. It then reverses its direction and starts moving south again. The opposite happens during the December Solstice. Then, the Sun reaches its southernmost position in the sky - Tropic of Capricorn - stands still, and then reverses its direction towards the north. Read More About the June Solstice. Just after the Solstice, Saturn retrogrades back into Scorpio on June 20th at 22:33 Mountain Time, returning to his enemies sign and the powerful depths of the 8th sign of the zodiac. Saturn will transit Scorpio another four months, before re-entering Sagittarius and Mula nakshatra on October 26th, for the remainder of his 2.5 year transit through this fire sign. Read more about Saturn in Scorpio. As Mars, Sun and Mercury all march through the constellation of Ardra during the month of June, the wrath of the Storm God is enlivened. These transits culminate at the end of the month with a new Moon in Ardra nakshatra on June 23rd. . Mars moved to Gemini on May 26th, but shifts into the second constellation of this air sign on June 5th. Mars is the warrior planet, synonymous with action, doing and force. Ardra brings big, powerful, forceful energy- so be aware of the power in your actions until June 25th. On June 14th, Sun moves to Gemini and will enter Ardra on the 21st. Swift moving Mercury moves to Gemini on June 18th and into Ardra on June 21st as well. This creates a tight conjunction of Mars, Sun and Mercury for the latter half of the month. The mind will be extra heated and aggressive. Expect anger and rage to surface. What is the underlying need of your anger? What is your anger really sharing with you about your deeper needs? Retrograde Saturn gives his direct gaze to this powerful and aggressive planetary combination until he shifts back into Scorpio on June 21st. Ketu gives his gaze as well, increasing frustrations, sudden explosions and release. This impact on the multi-planet Rudra effect will provoke an increase in violence, quick change, powerful expressions and forceful actions. This is a time to be extra methodical, careful and cautious. Use your power wisely. The constellation of Ardra is Rudra's domain. As the storm god, he brings power and force, potency and strength. He offers momentum, and transformational energy through the emotional body. Rudra brings big emotions- especially through grande emotional body waves, tears, anger and sadness. This energy is your power and if channeled properly, can support forceful changes- for better or worse- as well as destruction and successful attacks. The symbol of this constellation is a tear drop. This month will require working with the emotional body in very conscious and intentional ways. There is a tendency towards excess aggression and emotional pain. Big waves of undigested grief will need to be put into creative actions and channeled into communication, creativity and self expression. Give your emotion a purpose. Seek right-relationship with your emotional intelligence. Upgrade your emotional skills and don't let feelings go unnoticed. Avoiding and neglecting your emotional body will increase sudden explosive responses and increase challenges. Ask your self daily: What is my emotional body sharing with me? What is it letting me know I need right now? Gemini increases the creative activation possible as three planets move through Rudra's stormy territory of the sky. This is the sign of lovers- two opposing energies coming together and giving rise to a third energy. There is creativity and possibility in this sign. Send me a message to see if I have any openings: [email protected] The tides begin to turn as the Moon wanes, cycling towards completion. This new Moon begs for more- more of everything. It especially wants you to feel more- so that you can start making some bigger changes for yourself. This may not be a comfortable process. Watch excess on every level and notice where you're just trying to numb or mask your painful shadow parts. New Moon is on July 4th at 05:02 am. Metaphorically this is a day of independence in the US, which suits this new Moon and waxing cycle to come very well. How much freedom will you feel? That depends on your willingness to show up for yourself and break open the shadow you are clinging to. At the time of the New Moon, four connections to Ardra nakshatra occur. The new Moon is in Ardra as well as the Sun. The sign on the horizon is Gemini, placed acutely in Ardra. Gemini's ruling planet, Mercury is in this constellation as well. The ruling planet of this star pattern is Rahu, insuring that shadow will be encountered. Rudra owns this part of the sky and as the storm god, he is sure to deliver. He especially offers emotional outbursts connected to anger and rage. Big waves of tears, grief and pain can be moved as well, which is an important next step for all of us- after just finishing up a Mula Nakshatra waning cycle that certainly tilled the inner soil. Ardra nakshatra awakens the emotional body in powerful ways and stirs the inner prana. The power of Rudra is dense, compacted emotional body energy that effects the pranic winds and its fluidity of movement. This power can be used in many different ways. It can provoke powerful creative life force energy, or destroy the inner wisdom- or both. Ardra nakshatra natives are known for their bigness and lack of satisfaction with anything but all-star status. I often refer to this constellation as the "rock star" lunar mansion because it is notorious for big energy- big emotion that is. Prana is responsible for life and the absence of prana is death. The pranic winds (maruts) moving in the physical body, stir the emotions and provoke the feelings within. Prana is synonymous with Rudra. Since disrupted prana or life force energy is the root cause of all illness, Rudra can also heal these dis-eases. He is fierce and provocative, strong and forceful in his power. The effects of this new Moon and the waxing cycle to come will provoke big energy and movement of the inner winds. This can be a powerful ally of support for your healing process. Step into this process with intention and surrender to the grief that will be bursting forth. Your ability to move with the powerful emotional waves will deepen the level of healing that can take place at this time. Resisting the waves will prove futile, and only intensify the emotional body. Anger is just repressed sadness, repressed grief. Deepen your relationship with your own grief process and the many losses you've experienced. Grief gives us the opportunity to learn the art of deep surrender. Avoiding or neglecting the steps necessary for change will only delay the process and make it more painful. This is a Rahu ruled nakshatra after all and he notoriously brings intensity to whatever he touches. Your job is to lean into the pain, challenge and darkness, not resist. This process of awakening that is provoked in this cycle is particularly connected to changing the mind and old stories- as Ardra's sign, Gemini, is ruled by the mental body, Mercury. The effects may be felt on the level of relationships, creativity, writing, hands, arms and shoulders, as well as all forms of communication. Ketu's drishti on Sun, Moon, Venus and Mercury at the time of the New Moon, insures breaking open and breaking free in the cycle to come. As the emotional body cup fills and expands in the coming two weeks, pay close attention to what you are releasing. What is there no more space for, no more tolerance for? What do you need to release in order to make more space? What are you inviting in to this space being created? This must be an intentional process. Notice where you're resisting this opening and releasing process as much as you consciously can. Look for stories that say "I don't have time", or "I don't have the money," as well as "Things are fine". These are all messages that you are staying in your comfort zone and resisting getting your needs met in new ways. It takes radical awareness and dedication to move beyond the old story of scarcity, but will be worth your effort. All you have to do is keep showing up for yourself- fully, in deep presence. It also requires you say yes to new resources and support for your path. Many wait until the pain is so horrific that they seek support. You don't have to wait that long. This cycle may force you to take action because of the pain. Notice your willingness to move in closer. Notice your resistance to showing up and being with yourself in your pain. Notice how easy it is for you to avoid it and cover it up. Be especially mindful about drugs, intoxicants, caffeine and uppers like sugar in the weeks ahead. Cravings will be stronger. This is just your way of avoiding the emotional body issues that are arising. Stay true to course and be clear about your direction. Creative RitualThis cycle will be stirring the emotional body very acutely. Use this Creative Ritual (psychokinetic imagery process) as a resource for working with the emotional body and lean in closer to the messages arriving. 1) Where to do you feel the challenging emotion in your body? Name the emotion and notice where it lands within you. Be specific. Are there colors, textures or shapes that arrive with this place in the body? Are there any words or messages? Keep leaning in closer and listen carefully. 2) Create an image of your challenging emotion. What does it feel like? What colors, textures and shapes arrive? Create an image that expresses your experience and sensations within your stomach/solar plexus. Spend at least 20 minutes creating this image. I suggest using paints or craypas and a large piece of paper. Title your image. In your journal or on the back of the drawing answer this question: If your image could speak what would it say? 3) Movement Exploration. Using your image as the inspiration for your dance, begin to move your body in response to your image. Let your body move in response to your image- as though your body is having a conversation with it. Let the colors, shapes, textures etc. invoke a response and let your body express this through movement and sound. Continue to develop your dance for 5 to 10 + minutes. Then respond to these questions: I sense, I feel, I imagine. 4) Harvesting. Answer these baseline statements in your journal once you have completed the previous steps. I am I want I need I sense I feel I imagine Ready to take your relationship with Self to the next level? Join me for July Jyotish Astrology classes.
