On the morning of Tuesday, November 26th, the Scorpio new Moon arrives while transiting Anuradha nakshatra. Sun and Moon collide in the sign of depth and transformation while the empty, dark Moon inspires possibility and potential. This is a particularly helpful cycle for turning your darkness into light. Prepare to activate something new and change old patterns and behaviors. What needs to be enlivened and awakened within you? Anuradha nakshatra is ruled by Mitra who supports friendships and connections that support and uplift life. This constellation is also a powerful reminder of transformation and celebration. Symbolized by a triumphal gateway, this portion of the sky ushers in the arrival of improvement, upliftment and achievement. A powerful reminder that our darkness can be shifted and transformed into something life serving and empowering. Through your dharma, release and change your tragedy, pain and struggles into light, awareness and a powerful offering to the world. In the waxing cycle ahead, spend time with quality people, dear friends and trusted allies. Ask for support from those you love and cherish. Work towards co-creation and connection. Acknowledge the challenges you face and commit to transformation and healing. Lighten your load and turn the heaviness and sorrow into ease and gentleness. The medicine for your journey is self love and acceptance. What needs to be reframed? How can you rewrite your story? How do you want to feel and what direction do you want to go? What steps are you committed to taking so you can finally feel successful? As of November 16th, Sun has just moved to Scorpio and out of debilitation, joining Venus here. This will feel like a nice lift after the past month of low energy and deep, inner focus. However Sun will be shining his light now on the depths of Scorpio which supports powerful inner transformation and darkness coming to light. Bring awareness to what needs to shift and where you can support this awakening. Tension comes with the conjunction of Mars and retrograde Mercury in Libra as these two energies want different things. Thinking vs doing may be struggling right now, particularly with matters of relationships and co-creation. Mercury goes direct on November 20th and begins to separate from Mars, until he moves into Scorpio on December 5th. Jupiter is still in Mula nakshatra, having newly entered Sagittarius. Although he is stronger in degrees now, he is still transiting a constellation notorious for uprooting, untangling, clearing and transforming. There is a powerful spiritual process of shape shifting taking place for everyone on the planet right now. Put on your seat belt because we have four more major planets who will be transiting through the powerful gandanta (gap) between Scorpio and Sagittarius taking place between now and January. As Venus, Mercury, Sun, and the Mars, pass through Mula nakshatra in the coming months, we will all be experiencing major life change. This will cause a powerful uprooting, Awakening, and transformation process to take place on all levels of body, mind, spirit and emotions. None of us will be the same by the end of this. Each one of us is making space for something entirely new. Pay attention to what needs to be released and tossed out once and for all so you have the space for an entirely new way of existing. Mars is the last planet to go through the gandanta February 8th, ushering in a completion and focused release which will support entirely new type of action. Pay attention to what steps need to shift and change so you can create very different results for your life and path. Remember that Sagittarius correlates to the 9th house of dharma in the zodiac. As Jupiter, Saturn, Ketu, Venus, Mercury, Sun, Mars and Moon move through this incredibly spiritual placement, your path, purpose and dharma are going through a deep and life changing transformation and refinement. Mediocrity won't be tolerated. What needs to shift so you can be in right relationship with your path and purpose? The May full Moon occurs on the 18th at 15:11 MT while Moon is transiting Scorpio and Anuradha nakshatra. This is also considered Buddha Purnima, celebrated as the birth date of Lord Buddha, or Siddhartha, prior to becoming the revered spiritual teacher and enlightened master. Moon is considered debilitated in Scorpio, which internalizes the emotional energy of this full Moon. You may notice this full Moon has a complex dynamic of fullness, but on a very inner level. You may notice that your emotional body feels full, intense and brooding, yet stuck. There is a need to release undigested emotions that have not been attended to or released during the previous cycles. Notice if you're holding in your emotions and not fully acknowledging what is under the surface. Anuradha nakshatra is ruled by Mitra, who supports alliances, friendships and connecting. He is detail oriented, wants you to succeed, and encourages friendship and supportive relationships that will help you grow. This constellation is also ruled by Saturn, indicating that struggles and challenges must be overcome in order to gain success and achievement. Often Anuradha indicates grief, suffering and hardship that must be transformed. A willingness to change challenge into resource, difficulties into triumphs, insures the success and strength of this constellation. Sun shifts to Taurus on the 15th of May, receiving direct gaze from retrograde Jupiter in Scorpio. Without any negative influences, Sun can be proactive this month and support you with more connections, success and creative gains. Taurus is a sign of material, earth based, tangible results. Sun will be focused on helping you progress on the material level so use this time to put desires and ideas into manifested reality. Try not to be lazy or neglectful of your path, purpose and desires. Stay focused, even when things are going well. In the cycle ahead, focus on your connections, relationships and growing your reach. Attend to friendships, create alliances, step forward towards goals and achievements. Stop trying to do everything alone and start asking for the help you need in order to succeed. Get clear on your goals, focus and intentions. Start making your vision a reality! Where are you resisting asking for help? What guidance, resources and wisdom are missing right now on your path? What new support or resources do you need in order to create more success on a material level? What action steps must be taken in order to create your vision and make it a reality? Creative Ritual 1) Spend some time journaling about where you are going on your path and what direction you want to move in. What goals do you have? What is the time frame for these goals? What is your vision for your life, for your dharmic gifts, your dharmic business? 2) Create an image of this vision you have for your life and your dharmic offering. What colors, textures, images share the feeling of this vision? Use craypas, collage, paint or any medium that inspires you. Spend 20 minutes on this image or create until it feels complete. 3) Harvest from your image. Give it a title and let it speak. If this image could speak to you, what would it say? Book A Free Dharma Coaching Session The May Full Moon arrives on the 29th at 08:19am MT while Moon is transiting Scorpio and Anuradha nakshatra. Rahu gives his gaze, providing more intensity, overwhelm and uncertainty. Move closer to the shadow and turn it into light! Sun and Mercury look at the Moon from seven houses away, offering precision, focus and determination. However, the debilitated Moon in Scorpio begs for gentleness, softness and ease. Can you find more balance with all possibilities? Are you able to chip away at the illusions and see the reality with more insight and wisdom? Your spiritual body begs you to lean in and examine it more closely. What have you been unwilling to see or look at? What shadows are keeping you in the dark? You will be asked to dig deeper, lean in and go beyond the surface in this cycle. Relationships, life force energy, vitality, money and creativity are main concerns- which will provoke new needs to be acknowledged. Let Spirit be an ally for your discoveries. Greater stability, alignment and flow is possible in the coming cycle so find the proper channels of support that are needed for this new structure to take hold. Focus on your stable foundation so the life force energy can be received more fluidly. Deepen your relationship with nourishment, food, money and wealth. What does your malnourishment tell you it needs? Where are you resisting receiving what you need? Anuradha nakshatra is ruled by Mitra, the friend, ally and resource provider. He supports connections, alliances and friendships. Saturn rules this constellation however, requesting stability, support, structure and safety. This portion of the sky demands emotional body attention and intention. Whether you want to or not, your emotional body will request focus. Undigested grief needs to be cleared in order to make space for more of what you do want and need. Where are you resisting your emotional body wisdom? Your capacity to acknowledge and honor your grief, determines your capacity to hold the joy and nourishment of this life as well. Balance shadow and light. Harmonize opposing forces. Heal duality and conflict within. Mitra will support a friendly alliance with your whole body, but first you must be willing to wade in the mud and acknowledge the depths of your suffering. No mud, no lotus. In the coming waning cycle, find a new balance point. Redefine what depth means for you. Use the storms to clear and purge. Plant your seeds and find your ground. Unify and strengthen your inner strength. Let Spirit be a guiding force for your higher purpose. Clear away the rubble and clarify your path and purpose. Creative Ritual Resisting your grief leaves a lasting impact on your health and well being. Avoiding your "Grief Work" is often the missing link in your healing process. I see this again and again with my clients! Not sure if you're avoiding your grief, losses, pain and undigested emotions? Here Are 8 Signs that indicate you're likely Resisting or Avoiding Your Grief Work and Emotions. 1) Scan the body and notice what you feel. Imagine you could find where your grief is living in your body. Where does it land? How does it feel? What do you notice? 2) Using craypas, paints or pencils, create an image of your grief. What does your grief feel like for you? Create an image that expresses this feeling using colors, textures and shapes. Allow about 20 minutes for this grief image. Title your image. If your image could speak to you, what would it say? 3) Use your image to inspire a movement exploration. Let your body move in response to your grief image with an intention of "moving with your feelings of grief". What sensations emerge for you during your dance? What awareness? Allow 5 to 10 minutes for this movement exploration. I encourage you to extend this time frame as you recycle this process. 3) Harvesting. In your journal answer these questions: I am, I want, I need, I sense, I feel, I imagine. What does your grief tell you it needs? How can you honor this need? On Tuesday, November 29th at 05:18 Mountain Standard Time, the new Moon arrives in Scorpio and Anuradha nakshatra. Moon is debilitated and sits with Sun and Saturn in the sign of depth, transformation and the occult, hidden realms. Debilitated Moon turns your attention inward, softens the expression of the Moon and the flavor of Scorpio, while requesting your deep contemplation. This coming waxing cycle brings changes in creativity and courage, while the passion of the heart strengthens and awakens convictions and empowerment. Just as the month comes to a close, the Moon empties. The emotional waves will be strong, so bring your attention to the emotional body very intentionally right now. Once the new Moon arrives in Anuradha nakshatra, conjoining the Sun, it will also awaken the conjunction of Saturn as well. Mercury has just landed in Sagittarius and Mula nakshatra. Saturn plays a strong role in the upcoming cycle. Attend to grief very diligently. The mind is going through a deep uprooting and release process just as the emotional body empties out the previous cycle. The mind and emotions are extremely fragile at this time and vulnerable to outside influences. Protect yourself and use healthy, conscious boundaries to help you stay rooted and grounded instead of unstable and over-stimulated. Support this process of release and letting go that is taking place within you. There is an emptiness occurring with body, mind and emotions right now. Seek resources to support the release, while grounding and stabilizing your self for maximum integration to take place. Anuradha is Mitra's nakshatra. He is an Aditya- which means he offers resources. His gifts come through friendship and alliances. Through companionship and allies, Mitra supports expansion and increases through your connections. Often Anuradha will bring the experience of being in the right place at the right time and resources from well connected friendships. Reach out and align with your friends for maximum gain in the coming cycle. Notice where you are staying small, dis-empowered and resistant to connection. Relationships become a strong theme for the coming cycle; Libra is on the horizon at the time of the new Moon. Watch your speech and communication in the coming weeks. You may be less tactful, cold or seemingly uncaring. Align with loving kindness and compassion when dealing with difficult people and situations. Get clear on what you need and release that which doesn't serve you. Find creative ways to connect with others through unique co-creative processes and relationships. Be brave and reach out, connect and seek new resources. Self express and be courageous with new endeavors. Who do you want to align with- in order for more nourishment and support? What relationships and alliances are no longer feeling helpful, kind and empowering? Uproot and release that which no longer nourishes you. Move towards a deeper sense of vitality and support. Call in what you really need. Creative Ritual This is a poignant cycle to work with relationships very consciously. What are you calling in? What are you releasing? In order to align with more of what you want and need for deeper, more nourishing relationships, it's important to first clear away the rubble- mentally and emotionally. 1) Start by reading my article Relationships Are Your Guru. Then use my special Tapping Meditation to help release challenging feelings of being stuck, resistant, and unfulfilled in relationships. Tap Now 2) Make a list. What resources do you use for returning home- to stability, self-trust, safety and security? How do you get back home- to your sacred center? Notice what is alive and providing support for you, what is feeling nourishing and supportive, and what are the resources you have been relying on for greater nourishment. The intention of this creative ritual is to spark something within. To solidify your resources and ground you in the sensation of greater self trust. Part I. Coming Home Embodiment Dance. 1. Start your "Coming Home" embodiment dance from standing or lying down. Begin by bringing presence to a body part within you that feels like a resource. Is there a part of your body that provides you with a sense of stability, comfort and nourishment? Can you sense this feeling in your body somewhere? Let this be your primary body part resource for your dance. Then begin to move from this body part. Let it activate and inspire your Coming Home dance. 2. As you continue to move with your primary body part, note how the rest of your body responds. How does it connect to the rest of your body? How does it respond and move with the rest of your body? How does the rest of your body respond to it? Let your dance develop as the rest of your body moves with your primary body part resource. Return to the body part in the close of your dance and note the sensations present by doing a 3 level check in. Take at minimum 10 minutes for this portion of the Creative Ritual. Clarity, resources, guidance and support are life changing! Book A Session Just after Sun shifts into Virgo on September 16th, the full Moon in Pisces occurs with a penumbral lunar eclipse. This eclipse ends the unusually long eclipse portal that began on August 18th with an “almost” lunar eclipse. At the time of the full Moon (Purnima), the Moon has barely entered Pisces and will be under a degree- literally propping open the door between Aquarius and Pisces. This sandhi Moon is in very fragile and vulnerable territory, yet extremely spiritual as well. The penumbral lunar eclipse on the 16th will be visible in much of Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, Western South America, Pacific, Atlantic, Indian Ocean, Arctic and Antarctica. It will not touch North America. The eclipse will begin at 10:54 am MDT, ending at 14:53 MDT. The maximum eclipse will occur at 12:54 pm MDT. From a Vedic perspective, it is not advised to be outside during the eclipse. Stay covered if you have to be out and about- especially your head and eyes. As the eclipse portal comes to a close, a release process is taking place. This may take several more days or weeks to integrate fully. Moon in Pisces and Purvabhadrapada nakshatra during the time of the full Moon amplifies themes of release and letting go during the coming waning cycle. Pisces correlates to the 12th house of the zodiac, the final bhava (house) of the jyotish chart, connected to endings, release, transformation and retreats. It is the house of marriage (a transformational process) and finality. The 12th house is also connected to the ancestors because it is a house of death, endings and release. The next step is the spirit world. Purvabhadra is a constellation of integration, balance and harmonizing polarities. The ruling deity is Ajaikapada, a form of Shiva, Lord of the Dance. There is skillfulness with making money and doing challenging work. It is said that this constellation can cure the impossible. The symbol of this lunar constellation is a funeral cot, which speaks to themes of transformation, death and purification- all that is beyond the material plane of existence. Bhadra means auspicious in Sanskrit, while pada is foot. There is an ability to walk in two worlds- material and spiritual- through this constellation. These themes activate in the coming waning cycle. As the Moon turns your focus inward, spirit will support your inner awareness more fully. This cycle will also support healing and transformation through the emotional body landscape- for those who are willing to lean in closer to their grief, sadness and loss. The heart is being cracked open. Let the light and spirit enter your heart. The full Moon chart indicates a mixture of passion and sadness, which can create aggression or depression. How do you channel your powerful emotions? It’s vital that you use your emotional body intelligence to create, share, connect and communicate in authentic ways. Use your emotion as a resource, as a change agent. Scorpio and Anuradha nakshatra are on the horizon at the time of the full Moon, indicating that Mitra’s support will bring resources and connection in the days and weeks to come. He rules the “friendly star” which is symbolized by a decorated archway. There is triumph here and celebration. Friends, connection and community arrive. As an Aditya, Mitra’s role is to bring resources and support. He does it through connection, collaboration and relationship. Saturn rules this nakshatra, which indicates consistent, steady work is necessary for the resources to arrive. It also indicates that your steady steps will finally pay off- depending on your relationship with Saturn. As the planet of grief and sorrow, Saturn requires that you attend to your emotional body landscape diligently. With your attention to grief, he grants you more space in your heart for the joys of life. This is a cycle to pay close attention to your emotions and gather resources, support, guidance and community to weather the inner storms. In the coming days, it may feel like you have a foot in two world at times, but this is an essential part of your integration process. Connect with your different needs and honor your two halves. Work closely with balancing masculine and feminine energies as well as inner and outer realms. Use the coming weeks to move closer to your polarities, not away from them. As you lean in closer, you can begin to heal and integrate opposing energies within. This is an important part of closing the healing wisdom of the eclipse portal. Did you miss my special Heart Clearing Workshop? Part One is available for free, but only for a few more days. Listen Now Creative RitualAs you move through this eclipse portal cycle, integrating and digesting the powerful themes of this shadowed time, there will be strong emotional body waves activated. This is a cleansing cycle, a time to move out grief and harvest rich inner wisdom that has long been covered up by your shadow. Use this Tapping Meditation as a resource for uncovering your emotional body pain, so you can find the needs underneath the big feelings. Then follow up with the Creative Ritual below. Attend to the space you've created with consciousness and presence. Step One: Grief Tapping Meditation Step Two: Awakening Inner Space ~ Creative Ritual We worked a lot in this Space Clearing the Heart Workshop with noticing the internal landscape, what is arriving. As we continued to cultivate inner presence during the class, I asked you to notice the space within your body. Where do you feel more space in the body? Where does this space arrive within you? How does it feel? This space within is ripe with potential and possibility. It is fragile and vulnerable, but also very powerful. This creative ritual will help you continue to cultivate a relationship with this inner space. 1) Using craypas, paints or pencils, create an image of the space you are cultivating a relationship with. What does this space feel like within you? Create an image that expresses this feeling using colors, textures and shapes. Allow 10 to 20 minutes at minimum for this image. Title your image. 2) Use your image to inspire a movement exploration. Let your body move in response to your space image. Use the intention of "moving with this feeling of space in the body". What sensations emerge for you during your dance? What awareness? Allow 5 to 10 minutes for this movement exploration. I encourage you to extend this time frame as you recycle this process. * If you are in an acute grief phase, you may wish to simply hold a shape in the body, to mirror your space image, rather than move the image. 3) Harvesting. In your journal answer these questions: I am, I want, I need, I sense, I feel, I imagine. How do you want to attend to this space within? What is your intention? What am I opening to? What am I closing to? Did you miss my special Heart Clearing Workshop? Part One is available for free, but only for a few more days. Listen Now
This Week's Intention: Opposing forces within you are forcing you to address your inner pain, challenges and torments directly. Your only job is to find a way to honor all your parts, pieces, stories and conflicts. Resistance will only intensify these battles. Instead, try leaning in closer, listening, honoring the needs of both sides. What does it mean to show up for yourself fully? Moon continues to wax this week, expanding and growing into fullness later this week. Venus moves to its own sign, Taurus, just before the full Moon this weekend. As Venus lands in Taurus, it joins Sun here. These enemy planets will be combust for nearly a month, causing tension, turmoil and challenges with relationships, comforts, nourishment and money. Moon will be in its debilitation sign during the full Moon, causing an unusually inward experience for the externally charged full Moon energy. Use this week to be gentle with yourself and your needs. Tend to your emotional body with care and patience, honesty and tenderness. Grief will be stirring- before, during and after the full Moon, whether you're conscious of it or not. Let it move. Simultaneously, Jupiter and Rahu move into tighter conjunction, causing uncertainty and confusion with wisdom, support, teachers and spiritual matters. Over all, this is a delicate week for inner and outer needs. Polarities are intensifying, which will increase the need to address parts of yourself that need more harmony. Don't resist, lean in and listen closely. Monday, May 16th Moon in 11th tithi Ekadashi Moon continue through Virgo today, outside of the gaze of the other planets. Aryaman still brings his physical and ancestral support, which strengthens today as a result of the Sun moving into stronger degrees. What is your relationship with your inner Sun? This will determine the results you feel- either nourishment or challenge. Late evening, Moon shifts into Hasta nakshatra, Savitr's star. He brings a different sense of light. His energy is awakening, enlivening and invites greater awareness and knowledge as a result. Let your hands be a tool for this awakening process. Find ways to invite in more creativity, wisdom and knowledge. Align with your inner knowing and let Savitr bring you the light you need to shine more brightly. Reciting Gayatri Mantra will help with this. Tuesday, May 17th Moon in 12th tithi Dvadasi Moon continues through Hasta the majority of the day. Savitr brings his light, wisdom and awakening through flashes of insight and brilliance. Pause to notice these moments or you'll miss them. You may find yourself re-visiting old stories, patterns and mental body cycles as Moon moves through Virgo- Mercury's sign, currently retrograde in Aries. These old stories may provoke emotional responses. Honor the mind by staying in the body. Move your physical body in order to transform the mental body. Get embodied using subtle and gentle movements- not forced, harsh or extreme. Allow the hands to create and get creative! Hasta invites extra magic and creative power through the hands, so let them be a healing resource for you today. Just before midnight, Moon moves to Chitra nakshatra. This Mars ruled nakshatra may bring frustration, agitation or anger. Try to get some rest and get to be early- before the mind takes over and increases tension between thinking and doing. *free* Full Moon Creative Ritual Class this Sunday, May 22nd at 11am MDT. Join live for personal support and guidance. Join the Class List Wednesday, May 18th Moon in 13th tithi Trayodasi Moon moves through Chitra today, Vishva Karma's domain. He is action oriented, yet as Moon moves through Mercury's sign, Virgo, there is tension between thinking and doing. Ideas are strong, grande and passionate, but the next step is the action needed for movement, momentum and the creation process to take place. What action steps are you resisting? Where are you staying in thinking, rather than doing? Where are you stuck? Moon moves to Libra after noon, receiving gaze from both retrograde Mercury and Venus. Increased creativity arrives. Ketu's drishti on the Moon gives sudden insight, spiritual connection and unexpected changes. Expect ideas and visions to arrive, yet confusion about how to put them into action. Part of you wants to move forward and say yes, the other part of you is saying no and resisting. How can you honor both sides? What do both sides need from you? Thursday, May 19th Moon in 13th to 14th tithi Trayodasi to Chaturdasi Just as Thursday arrives, Moon shifts to Swati nakshatra, bringing powerful winds of change. Vayu, the wind god brings his Rudra energy to this constellation. There is movement here- both gentle and strong. Changes are inevitable, but which direction will the winds take you? Get in touch with your inner Prana today and channel this energy with consciousness, rather than using it frivolously. Ruling planet, Rahu, brings a certain level of uncertainty and unpredictability with this nakshatra. How will you use the power of change? Will you direct the currents or resist them? Resistance intensifies, while surrender can neutralize. Just before the full Moon, Venus moves to its own sign, Taurus, joining enemy, Sun, here. Venus arrives in Taurus on May 19th at 07:56 am Mountain Time. This transit increases the themes that are present with Sun transiting the same sign. Venus is the karaka (indicator) of relationships, wealth, nourishment, vitality and creativity, as well as the feminine. Sun is shining its light on the sign of comfort and support, Taurus, challenging the needs you have for safety, support and stability. As Venus shifts to this sign as well, the comfort as well as the tension will increase simultaneously as Venus and Sun oppose each other energetically. Polarities will increase as a result, manifesting in challenges, conflicts, arguments, expenses or relationship tension. Part of you is not being authentic, clear and direct with your own needs. Where are you neglecting, subjugating and resisting your emotional body wisdom? This is where you'll find direct access to your needs. Challenges are mirrors of what is not working, so use them as a resource for making necessary change. Read more about Venus in Taurus in my Waxing Moon Horoscopes Friday, May 20th Moon in 14th to 15th tithi Chaturdasi to Purnima Moon moves to Vishaka nakshatra mid morning, inviting in Indra and Agni's support for the day. These are dual gods, opposing forces, yet they find harmony within co-creation. Indra is the king, while Agni is the priest. One entity represents the material world, while the other represents the spiritual world. How can these two energies find a way to integrate and harmonize when they have different needs? Each one is reliant on the other and they know this. Just like all polarities within your own being. The yes needs the no, the no needs the yes. The dark needs the light, the light needs the dark. Your only job is to honor both, rather than resist one or the other. Today, find ways to honor all your many parts, pieces and differences. Embrace your totality. The ruling planet of this nakshatra is Jupiter, who is currently in tight conjunction with shadow, demon planet Rahu. The spiritual parts of yourself are being confronted by the demon parts, intensifying a battle between good and evil. Resisting your inner darkness will only intensify it. Instead, try another way. Try compassion, honesty and deep listening. *free* Full Moon Creative Ritual Class this Sunday, May 22nd at 11am MDT. Join live for personal support and guidance. Join the Class List Saturday, May 21st Moon in 15th to 1st tithi Purnima to Pratipad Just as Saturday morning begins, Moon moves into its debilitation sign, Scorpio, already in the 15th and final tithi (phase) of the waxing phase. Emotions will be deep and inward. Moon moves out of Vishaka nakshatra and into Anuradha late morning, moving into fullness and conjunction with Mars. Full Moon is May 21st at 15:14 Mountain Time, with Virgo on the ascendant at the time of the fullest portion of the Moon. Three planets sit in Scorpio at this time- Moon and retrograde Mars and Saturn. Moon is in exact conjunction with Mars, which instigates charged emotions and a fiery inner landscape. Aggressive, warrior Mars, ripples the soft and gentle waters of the Moon, causing anger, frustrations, emotional outbursts and violence. The pressure from Saturn simultaneously increases the intensity, while inviting in grief, sadness and pain connected to loss. Repressed emotions will be surfacing, emerging from your depths- which is the nature and essence of Scorpio. Anger is often connected to repressed power, while frustration is the repeated cycle of repressed anger and lack of momentum, action steps and movement. Expect emotions that have been very hidden, to surface at this time as well as in the cycle to come. Uncomfortable, yet extremely vital to increase life force energy and the circulation of more space within your bodies. Find safe, healthy ways to release the emotional pressure. The May full Moon brings a debilitated Moon with Anuradha nakshatra- stirring precision, focus and regeneration for the cycle to come. This is a mild, tender and soft constellation, which will deepen the introspection and inward focus of the full Moon energy. Expect a waning Moon cycle that takes you deeper than you thought possible. Have a life preserver ready if you aren't schooled in the ways of Scorpio and the 8th house! The full Moon also falls on Buddha Jayanti, the celebrated birthday of Lord Buddha. It's an excellent time to stay inward, in contemplation, meditation or spend time in nature. Read more about the full Moon and the Waning Cycle to come Sunday, May 22nd Moon in 1st tithi Pratipad Moon moves to Jyestha nakshatra late morning, just before noon. This is Indra's nakshatra, as well as Mercury's domain. There is a profound sensitivity with the sense here- which can be a great strength or a great challenge. Attend diligently to your sensitivity today. Limit the input it receives, while spending time in nature to re-charge your receptors. Mercury goes direct at 07:18 MDT, with a debilitated Moon conjunct two opposing forces- Mars and Saturn, both retrograde. Warring factions, Sun and Venus move through Taurus, while Jupiter and Rahu battle for the power in the King's sign, Leo. As the mental body begins to move forward, it will be facing challenges in the weeks to come, especially as it continues to move through it's enemies sign, Aries. Mercury has been transiting this fiery and aggressive sign since April 2nd. This mental body cycle has provoked the mind to feel fragile and agitated at times. A release process is being instigated. Notice where necessary clean-up and final release must take place. Honor this process of endings and beginnings. As Mercury begins forward movement, the mind plunges into acute awareness, confronting and identifying with diligence. Do you notice or do you push past the messages? The mind requires your witnessing in this cycle- in order to work more consciously with mental body. Fiercely sift through the stories in the conscious mind. Bravely use this information to navigate and pull up old stories from the subconscious and unconscious parts of your being. This takes vigilance and dedication, yet is the only way to re-write old patterns and behaviors. Monday, May 23rd Moon in 2nd tithi Dvitiya Moon continues through Jyestha until noon. Let your morning be simple and clarify what you need for mental stamina this week. Write to-do lists, clarify and organize. Let meditation and nature be your morning resources in order to set the tone for the week to come. As Moon leaps to Mula midday, Nirrti arrives with her chaos and confusion. She is adharma, against dharma, meaning she can provoke challenges that will derail your best efforts for success. Often there is a silver lining and a spiritual purpose for this challenge and calamity, but it can also instigate the addiction to chaos that comes with systemic overwhelm, over stimulation and over attachment to the pain body. Mula nakshatra is a sharp and dreadful nakshatra (Tikshna) which means that strong actions will be supported, while gentle and soft actions will not. Whenever Mula arrives, it is a powerful opportunity to identify how you work with chaos in your life. Do you resist it? Get sucked in? Or do you find the center, where your stability and support is? Today, get embodied. Find your grounding cord. Align with your center. * All timing is in Mountain Daylight Time- one hour ahead of Pacific Time, one hour behind Central Time and two hours behind Eastern Time.
