This December Full Moon arrives on the 11th at 22:12 MT, while Moon travels through Taurus and Mrigashirsha Nakshatra. Moon's favorite sign is Taurus and truly loves this constellation of Soma where he is considered in his mulitrikona degrees, or his "office". Full Moon in Taurus supports earth magic in the cycle ahead so be clear on what you are manifesting and bringing into form. This is an important time to create something new. At the time of the full Moon, Mars, Mercury and Sun give their drishti to the Moon, creating sharp, clear and focused perception. Four planets are still navigating Sagittarius, including Jupiter, Venus, Saturn and Ketu. Dharma and your spiritual path should be a strong focus right now. Move into right relationship with your dharmic path and purpose. Mrigashirsha nakshatra falls in Taurus and is ruled by the personification of Moon, the god Soma. From a Vedic perspective, the Moon is Soma itself, the divine nectar of life. From an Ayurvedic perspective, staring at a full Moon will allow you to soak up Soma directly and the Moon glow can even heal your eyes. A drink of Moon's Soma supports longevity, vitality and life force. The qualities of this constellation directly support increased Soma- on all levels of life. Soma is lord of the plants, giving them healing and nourishing qualities which are most potent in the waxing cycle. Symbolically, the constellation of Mrigashirsha correlates to the deer and its antlers. Traditionally, deer antlers were ground into a fine powder and used as an aphrodisiac. The quality of the deer and its antlers is constant movement and growth, branching out, extending, finding new green grass, new food sources, more abundance. Mrigashirsha is a soft, gentle constellation with fickle and changeable inclinations just like the Moon and the deer. This full Moon and the waning cycle ahead supports new growth, branching out, extending beyond your comfort zone and moving towards the new. Stagnation is a certain death for anyone born with this constellation placed prominently in their chart. A reminder to move in a new direction in the cycle ahead with conscious intention. Use this cycle to focus and align with your path, purpose and the direction you want to move in. Take action steps and be clear with your intention. Move in a life supportive direction. One that honors your growth, health, vitality and deepest desires. Look for and seek out opportunities that increase your nourishment. Open up new channels and pathways that support life. Expand and branch out. Are you moving in a direction that supports your nourishment? Where are you moving closer to your joy? Where are you moving further away from it? Where do you need to change direction or find a new path? Solstice arrives in the waning cycle ahead on December 21st at 21:19 MT. Considered a time when life seems to stop, or stand still, use this time for pause, meditation and silence. "The term Solstice comes from the Latin word solstitium, meaning 'the Sun stands still'. This is because on this day, the Sun reaches its southern-most position as seen from the Earth. The Sun seems to stand still at the Tropic of Capricorn and then reverses its direction. It's also common to call it the day the Sun turns around." - Via Time and Date As the still point arrives and the reversal of the light takes place, it is a powerful time for introspection and release. This is a time to attend to shadows, grief and undigested emotions. Clearing, purging and releasing lingering emotions from the past cycle will create space for the new, opening you to more life force in the months ahead. What needs to be cleared and released? What is undigested from the previous year, decade? What are you making space for in your life? In 2020, my complete Moon Wisdom offerings will only be shared in my Moon Wisdom Calendar. The June full Moon occurs on Monday the 17th at 2:30am MT while Moon is transiting Sagittarius and Mula nakshatra, a lunar constellation ruled by the dark goddess, Nirrti. Moon joins the sensitive and complicated planets in exact conjunction here as well- Ketu and Saturn. We also have four planets conjunct in Gemini looking directly at Sagittarius, causing an intense emotional dynamic that will make this full Moon feel like a release of immense emotional build up. Mercury, Mars, Rahu and Sun are asking for intensified clarity, courage and creativity right now. Don't drop the ball. This is a powerful full Moon and waning cycle for your dharmic path. Don't miss the messages arriving to support you, nor the opportunity to clear your path. If used properly, this cycle can be of great benefit to your dharma, your life path and purpose. For others, immense calamity and confusion may arrive. Try to stay on path and don't let the goddess of adharma pull you from your inner wisdom. When any planet transits this portion of the sky, they go through a powerful uprooting process. Mula nakshatra is considered one of three gandantas- junction points in the sky that cause immense psycho-emotional body uprooting. This powerful transformation process can clear away blockages and obstacles so the path is clear, or it can create such confusion, calamity and misfortune that the dharmic path becomes unclear, misdirected and completely disconnected. It takes great strength, courage and intention to stay on path with Mula nakshatra. Those born under this star often go through painful life challenges that keep them from fully utilizing their innate gifts. They may struggle with such self doubt as a result of misfortune that they can't clearly see their purpose or offering in this world. The ruling deity of Mula nakshatra is Nirrti. Married to adharma (that which goes against dharma), the dark goddess of calamity, chaos and misfortune, presents unusual challenges on the dharmic path that can lead souls astray. It is therefor vital that when Mula is influencing us we take stock of our actions, choices and behaviors with honesty and truthfulness. Because this constellation is notorious for creating a sense of overwhelm, simplicity and editing our choices is important. Less is more with this constellation. Through simplicity and consistency, a deeper spiritual awareness is possible. Nirrti can clear the path of rubble and debris so that we can focus our attention and intention on what truly matters. However the diligence required takes great skillfulness and strength. Use the waning cycle ahead to clarify your path, purpose and offering. Where are you getting stuck in overwhelm, overdoing and fear? How is this impacting your results and behaviors? It's time to get truly honest about your focus, direction and desires. Are you making progress or spinning your wheels? Are you truly aligning with your highest potential, or settling for less than you deserve? Have you truly done all that you can to make sure your dharma is awakened, or is your self doubt keeping you stuck in painful choices and behaviors? The June full Moon is powerful opportunity to awaken your dharmic path and clarify your life purpose- however it will take your diligence and focused action steps. If you feel yourself getting off path or you realize that you are not aligned with your true purpose, it's time to make some adjustments. Make the necessary changes that puts your dharma first and allow your big dreams to be your top priority. Ask for the help you need and expand your vision. Step up and align with what truly matters to you. Your soul is asking for more. Are you ready to finally listen? Be very conscious in this cycle of what is moving your closer to dharmic alignment and what is moving you further away from it. Sun has now shifted to Gemini, joining Mars, Mercury and Rahu here as well. He transits the air sign of communication and creativity until mid July. This transit illuminates communication- physically and mentally- supporting a deeper understanding of your body and its self expression. Challenges may occur with self expression and creativity as well. Blockages are resistance in disguise so be willing to address your shadows and illusions. Watch for self doubt and uncertainty as Sun collides with Rahu. Break through the old stories, patterns and behaviors that are keeping you stuck, playing small and stuck. It's time to expand your creativity and self expression. Use a multi-modal approach through dance, writing, painting and music. Summer Solstice (Northern Hemisphere) occurs on Friday, June 21st at 09:54 am MDT. In the Northern Hemisphere, this is the longest day of the year in terms of daylight. In the Southern Hemisphere, on the other hand, it is the shortest day of the year and is known as the Winter Solstice. Solstice comes from the Latin words sol, meaning Sun and sistere, meaning to come to a stop or stand still. On the day of the June Solstice, the Sun reaches its northernmost position, as seen from the Earth. At that moment, its zenith does not move north or south as during most other days of the year, but it stands still at the Tropic of Cancer. It then reverses its direction and starts moving south again. The opposite happens during the December Solstice. Then, the Sun reaches its southernmost position in the sky - Tropic of Capricorn - stands still, and then reverses its direction towards the north. This is a potent time to take stock of your life, your actions and choices. Think of it like a tipping point. What direction are you moving in? Are you actively moving towards your desires and life purpose? What shifts and changes need to take place in order to align with your inner light, your souls offering in this life time? Creative RitualClarifying Your Dharma. Turning Dreams into Reality. Use this Creative Ritual, to deepen and cultivate more presence with your dharma. Allow your dharmic vision to come alive! 1) Creating Your Dharmic Vision. Get out your drawing pad and craypas. Create an image of your dharma, fully realized and activated. Maybe this feels impossible, but try anyway. If you feel stuck, pick a color and just start running it across your paper. Notice carefully what begins to emerge within you. What colors, images, textures and shapes express your dharma? Let that gentle sensation that arrived from reading your passion list carry you through this activity. Keep returning to the list, adding to it if you need to, and creating an image that expresses the feelings you receive from looking at your passion list. Get into this and let yourself play, fully arriving into the reality of joy and passion. Let this image serve as your reminder, your dharmic map. Hang it up on your wall and let it inspire your action steps. Be sure to title your image. Once your image is complete, let it answer this question: If your image could speak to you, what would it say? Take 20-30 minutes for this unless you feel like extra time would serve you. 2) Activating Your Dharma. The next step requires the physical integration of this joy and passion. Moving it from the imaginal realms, and letting it become a recognized, physical sensation in the body. Set a timer for 20 minutes. Look at your image and let a certain part of your drawing attract your attention. Let a color, shape, or image draw you in. This is your starting point. Begin to move this part of your drawing with your body. Let your body move in response to the image. Develop your dance using the intention of increasing awareness, activation of your desires, and the sensation of joy and passion. This is both an activation of your desires, as well as an exploration of your body's messages and sensations. Invite in the information. Remember, you are activating your dharmic map! Let this be your intention. As your timer rings, hold the shape of your body, as though you are a statue. Let a word or phrase come to you that describes your statue. Declare this! Take at least 20 minutes for your dance. 3) Harvesting and Planting Seeds. Once you have completed your image and your movement exploration, it's time for some harvesting and further activation. Answer these baseline statements in your journal separately: I am, I want, I need, I sense, I feel, I imagine. Circle one of these baseline statements that speaks to you most loudly. Create an action step for yourself that will help you honor and activate this sensation. How does this aligns with your passion list? If your statement is "I feel joy", then affirm that you will take an action step that creates more joy for yourself, perhaps doing something on your passion list for example. Clearly identify an action step and then make a doable goal with it. Such as "I will work in my garden once a week which makes me feel joyful." Write your goal down on a piece of paper. Now, look at your image, recall your dance exploration, and read your baseline statements once again. How does your action step and goal align with the dharmic vision you have created? Remember you can recycle this process again and again, finding different options for yourself (which I encourage you to do). Keep exploring and taking these action steps. Let your passions be your focus and set an intention for at minimum, once a week (daily is best), working directly with these sensations you've uncovered in this process. Let them motivate you. Remember, these sensations are like seeds. Tend to them gently, honor and nourish them. You are well on your way to creating your dharma. Step by step! Share your harvest with us in the Embodied Dharma Tribe! Clarify Your Dharmic Path

Winter Solstice (in the Northern Hemisphere) occurs on December 21st at 15:23 MT, a time when life seems to stop, or stand still. As the darkness strengthens right now, lean closer. Lean into your fears, challenges, pain and grief. Let it speak to you. Honor its wisdom and validity Remember that ignoring your darkness only makes it stronger. Your capacity to feel the joy of life is determined by how much grief you have in your body. The natural cycles of darkness support the healing and release of grief within your body- if you honor and acknowledge it. Pay attention to your darkness and listen carefully. The Sun (light) has just left Scorpio, the darkest of the twelve signs. He's now in the gap between Scorpio and Sagittarius in a notorious gandanta- Mula. You may be feeling this instability and uncertainty surface in your life right now. Notice it and don't turn away. What changes are needed in order to find more ground? With all the layers of darkness present right now, it's an important time for honesty- with ourselves and others. As we arrive at the still point of the year, deep presence is possible. What are you noticing? What do you see? What are you acknowledging- even though it's hard to look at? Be courageous in your presence. Honor the dark wisdom arriving. Show up for yourself and your shadow. Be with your darkness so you can find the other side, the light. The December Full Moon occurs hours after the transition of the Sun, occurring on the 22nd at 10:48 am MT. This is a particularly powerful full Moon as it takes place in the portion of the sky ruled by the storm god, Rudra. He is notorious for big emotional expression- the release of grief through anger, tears and violence. He brings big waves within the emotional body and activates release, purging and destruction. Rudra rules the portion of the sky called Ardra nakshatra which falls within the sign of Gemini. This constellation is considered Tikshna, which means sharp and dreadful. It cuts, severs and attacks. It is particularly useful when harsh, destructive or painful actions must be taken. Though Ardra nakshatra can offer immense pain and suffering, the relationship with grief must be acknowledged here. Suffering intensifies when we resist the darkness, the struggles, the pain and losses we experience. The intensity of Ardra nakshatra (and Rudra) occurs when the powerful emotional body within is ignored, suppressed, avoided or disconnected. The violent inner storms increase when the waves are not attended to regularly, when they are not honored or acknowledged as normal, valid and valuable parts of the human experience. Ardra nakshatra invites (or forces) us to look at our challenging emotions, our grief, so that it can be released and cleared. On the other side of this grief is space to feel something else- equally as powerful. The waning cycle ahead is a request to lean closer to your own darkness and shadow. Your grief, losses and struggles. It's a call for help, a beckoning from your emotional body wisdom. Do you lean closer or do you keep resisting the pain? What needs are surfacing? What does your emotional body tell you it needs? What shifts, changes or adjustments need to be made in order to get your needs met? Need clarity for the year ahead? Wondering what direction to take? It reminds you that a boundary has been crossed, that something feels unfair, that you have been wronged in some way. When you experience anger, there is an opportunity to find clarity about your needs and step into your power with more purpose. Far too often though, anger becomes an unconscious reactive emotion that never gets to truly serve its purpose- to wake you up! Right now, the planet and particularly the United States, is being called into action. So many are feeling very old, deeply embedded anger and rage rise to the surface. You may be feeling anger as a result of your own personal mythology, as well as a result of the collective consciousness. Allowing your anger to move through you is potent medicine. But even more important than it's movement, is actually harvesting from this emotion. Understanding the deeper layers of your anger can help you awaken to needs, more nourishment and empowerment. What you don't want to do is suppress your anger, or use it in ways that harm yourself and others. Systemically suppressed anger can become depression- which is ultimately a result of resisting your power. Anger is in fact a resource for tapping into your power, purpose and dharma! Here Are Four Ways to Release Anger Right Now: #1: Anger is often a first response emotion. It can become an addiction to feel anger- especially if this is the way you learned how to feel and express. Anger happens to be the most socially acceptable emotion, so most people default to anger quite easily. Step number one is to get into the habit of checking in with the four levels of your being and do a self audit. This process can help you identify the experiences happening within your inner landscape so you don't disconnect from your body and emotions. Do A Self Audit #2: What are you angry about? Who are you angry at? Consider this your challenge. Now use my Challenge Creative Ritual to identify, move and transform your anger into potent awareness. #3: Move your anger safely. Release anger and rage by screaming, yelling, punching pillows, throwing things (without harming yourself or anyone/anything else) and stomping. Get the sound of your anger out in a safe, contained space. Let the emotion move out and through your body. #4: Tap and Rant. EFT is a powerful resource for moving emotions- especially anger. Tap on the heart point in the center of the chest or tap through the points as you speak your anger aloud. Don't hold back. Tapping through the points as you express your anger, will support its movement and release, without it getting stuck in your body. Need some extra support? Use my Tapping Meditation Podcast for Big Emotions. Hi Sensitive Souls!

New Moon arrives on June 23rd at 20:31 Mountain time, inviting in powerful changes and uprooting for the waxing cycle to come. Four planets transit Ardra nakshatra at the time of the new Moon- Mars, Sun, Mercury and Moon. The unpredictable Ketu gives his gaze, promising change and release. Mula is on the Eastern horizon. Both constellations are notorious for challenges and change. Expect shifts with support, stability and grounding. Stay rooted and grounded as much as possible. Let your pelvis be a resource for this awareness. Your lessons will come in big waves, through powerful change and release. Storms can bring great learning so pay attention to the way your storms show up and what they are here to teach you. Something important is breaking free. Let it go. The constellation of Ardra is Rudra's domain. As the storm god, he brings power and force, potency and strength. He offers momentum, and transformational energy through the emotional body. Rudra brings big emotions- especially through grande emotional body waves, tears, anger and sadness. This energy is your power and if channeled properly, can support forceful changes- for better or worse- as well as destruction and successful attacks. The symbol of this constellation is a tear drop. Transformation, release and instability are a powerful part of this coming cycle. Find your grounding cord and hold on. Relationships become a challenging part of this change process, but will provide much growth, wisdom and teaching. Pay close attention to the messages arriving, the mirrors you are looking at, and how the wisdom arrives. With this big release taking place, there is potential for an all new support system to replace it. As you let go of relationships and change your inner dynamic, clarify what you need in order to feel safe, grounded and supported. This is not a time to take risks or be careless. Be careful, cautious and intentional with choices and actions. Go slow and steady. Destructive and aggressive forces are at play in the weeks ahead. Be mindful of your part in this process. Release challenging emotions in healthy, conscious ways and try not to take your challenges out on others. Take responsibility and accountability for your own feelings. Create healthy boundaries and honor your needs for safety, security, trust and stability. Find ways to get your needs met with skill and conscious awareness. Send me a message to see if I have any openings: swatijrjyotish@gmail.com This Week's Intention: "The inspiration you seek is already within you. Be silent and listen." ~Rumi Moon is waning and the week begins with Moon in the 7th tithi, Saptami, half way through the dark half cycle. This phase of the Moon is Indra's domain, the god of the gods. His weapon of choice is a thunderbolt as he rules the rain, opening the clouds and controlling the nourishment of the earth. Consequently he is connected to powerful dharmic works. This is a Tikshna nakshatra- sharp and dreadful. In the USA, the Electoral College votes on Monday, the 19th. The Moon is under strong illusion today, while a theme of harsh action, confusion and Mental reversals arrive. Interesting timing for the vote to take place. Winter Solstice (for the Northern Hemisphere) occurs this week, which is a turning point in our orientation to the light- both inner and outer. For the Southern Hemisphere, there will be an increase of darkness, inward awareness. For the Northern Hemisphere, an increase of light begins, which begins to shift our attention externally. Themes of integration and balance continue this week as the Kala Sarpa Yoga effects awaken once again for a two week period of heightened extremes and deeper shadow work. . Join me for a free Winter Solstice Web Class ::: Please RSVP to join the list and receive access to the recording: swatijrjyotish@gmail.com Monday, December 19th Moon in 7th tithi Saptami The week begins with Moon shifting into Purvaphalguni nakshatra, moving to the inside of Rahu, once again starting a two week cycle of Kala Sarpa yoga effects. Moon continues through Leo, receiving gaze from Ketu, Mars, and Saturn, while in conjunction with Rahu. There is a lack of clarity and certainty about action steps today. Don't force outcomes, but take thoughtful action steps regardless. Moon is waning and half way through the emptying cycle now. Mars will break the Kala Sarpa yoga on the 28th of December, but won't officially leave Aquarius until January 20th. There is still extreme ups and downs, polarities and binary energy at play. Integration and harmonizing opposites and extremes is vital right now. As Moon transits Purvaphalguni, Bhaga, the god of resources and material enjoyment is enlivened. There's a tendency to overspend and over indulge right now. Watch how your shadows are impacting excess and extremes. This includes finances, eating habits, food, drugs and alcohol, as well as your relationships and behaviors. Seek simplicity, gentleness with yourself and others, as well as clarity with boundaries, and needs. Find more stability- inner and outer- rather than overwhelm through pushing or forcing outcomes and agendas. Mercury goes Retrograde in Sagittarius early this morning. This lengthy transit of Mercury in Sagittarius will last until February 3rd, an unusually long dance of forward and backwards for this swift moving planet. Mercury will retrograde on December 19th for roughly three weeks, until January 8th. This prolongs his stay in the fiery sign of Sagittarius, who is fortunately a friend. Retrograde planets increase the strength of the planet and its indications, expressing themselves more as the nodes do- with excess, confusion and intensity. This transit of Mercury impacts the mental body, the mind, stirring a change process that impacts relationships, money, the feminine and creative powers. The cycle ahead supports change towards nourishment, fluidity and ease. An ability to arrive in the love and stay oriented towards the heart is possible- with courage and commitment. Get clear on what works for you and what doesn't. Communicate your needs authentically and purposefully, but through loving kindness. Work towards clarity with your inner authority and notice when you go against your needs out of fear or a misuse of your power. Read more about Mercury in Sagittarius Tuesday, December 20th Moon in 8th tithi Ashtami Just as Tuesday arrives, Moon shifts into Uttaraphalguni, Aryaman's domain. Late morning, Moon moves to Virgo, joining Jupiter here and receiving gaze from Mars. Try not to force action steps, but be diligent with your choices and momentum. As an Aditya, Aryaman, provides resources- specifically to support the health and well being of the body. This connection to the physical body is a way to honor the ancestors and carry forward one's lineage. Aryaman also supports marriage and that which allows a relationship to be sustained, such as commitment, children and the inner work required to heal and grow together. This nakshatra shows a connection to repaying the ancestors. Honor, respect, connect and give gratitude to your ancestors today. Bring offerings to your altar and attend to your physical body as the maha altar of sustaining the legacy you are alive to bring forth. Notice omens, symbols and messages arriving from your ancestors. Mars moves to Satabisha nakshatra, moving closer to Ketu, who is still transiting this domain of the sky. There is deep healing possible, but only by cracking open and looking at the depth of your darkness. Do so with diligence, yet with gentleness and loving kindness, or there will be resistance to fully arriving in your truth, light and wisdom. The coming weeks provoke sparks of awakening, albeit through possibly painful and challenging encounters. Stay connected to body, breath and your inner truth. Seek integration, harmony, and above all, love. Wednesday, December 21st Moon in 9th tithi Navami Moon moves through Virgo and into Hasta nakshatra early morning. Savitr rules this constellation, bringing the dawning, the light, through greater wisdom and awareness. There is a new dawn arriving today. Look for the moments of awareness, move towards your truth, connect with your body and breath, find your grounding cord. Ask for guidance and support to help you unfold your truth. The first day of winter for the Northern Hemisphere (first day of Summer for the Southern Hemisphere) arrives on December 21st at 03:44 am MST. For those of us beginning the silence of winter, Solstice marks a powerful turning point. It is the darkest day of the year with the least amount of sunlight, creating the longest night. It is a still point in the season, inviting deep silence, pause and reflection on the past seasons. This is a powerful time to attend to release, letting go and purging of emotions and grief that have been undigested. Use this time to let go of your past cycles, that which has been stored in the bodies- in order to cultivate more space for the coming cycles. More light is to come! The days will continue to increase in length and strength, inviting in more brightness in the days and months to come. For the Southern Hemisphere, there will be an increase of darkness, inward awareness. For the Northern Hemisphere, an increase of light begins, which begins to shift our attention externally. Themes of integration and balance continue as the Kala Sarpa Yoga effects heighten extremes and deeper shadow work. . Vishvakarma rules this portion of the sky, bringing his creative powers to life. He is a powerful creator who supports the construction and creative process intimately. He likes action steps and grande plans, and he will support bringing your goals to life with diligent action steps. Chitra is ruled by Mars, the soldier, which expresses the power and focus possible here. Service and karma yoga are particularly aligned with this star's intention. Make your steps count today. Are they aligned with your highest truth, your dharmic purpose? Let everything else go. Allow dharma to be your highest calling, your highest truth. Organize around this. Late evening, Moon shifts to Libra. Integrate, harmonize, align. Friday, December 23rd Moon in 11th tithi Ekadashi The need for integrating polarities and extremes is enlivened today as Moon moves through the sign of balance, Libra. Late morning, Moon arrives in Swati nakshatra and great movement and momentum is stirred. Vayu, the wind god, rules this domain, offering change, illumination, dharma and a lack of grounding. Swati nakshatra has an easily changing nature and often a lack of grounding, landing and support. Vayu is a powerful force that, when on your side, can carry you great distances, like the wind in your sails. Can you ground even as you move? Can you land in your breath, even with such momentum? Can you pause and check, even when the winds are carrying you quickly? Don't get lost in the big gusts of wind, harness it and use it as your strength. Saturday, December 24th Moon in 11th to 12th tithi Ekadashi to Dvadashi The first half of the day is devoted to Swati's movement and momentum. Stay grounded as much as possible. Mid day Moon moves to Vishaka nakshatra and the dual god Indragni brings greater need for integration, harmony and balance between opposing forces. What needs to activate in order for more co-creation within your self and with others? Indra and Agni remind us that when multiple forces combine, the power is stronger, more sustainable. This process of integration and harmonizing is supported through an alchemical transformation process, as opposing forces come together. Notice your resistance to syncing with your inner power. Who are you when you say yes to your power, fully? Where are you saying no to your highest truth, light and power? How can you step towards your empowerment with more clarity and ease? Sunday, December 25th Moon in 12th tithi Dvadashi Late morning, Moon arrives in Scorpio, its debilitation sign and into conjunction with Saturn, planet of grief. The next few days require slowness, stillness and introspection, especially as the new Moon approaches. Continue to find integration, alignment and harmony between opposing forces, as Vishaka rules the day. Late afternoon, Moon shifts into Anuradha nakshatra, Mitra's domain. As an Aditya, Mitra brings resources and support- usually through friendship and alliances. Who and what are you aligning with? Anuradha can get overly focused on details at times, so try to stay with the big picture. For many, it is Christmas Day. Seek harmony and connection today, while honoring your grief and emotions intentionally. Spend time in silence, with body and breath. Set intentions for being in relationship with self and others at this time. What do you need to feel supported and honored? Monday, December 26th Moon in 13th tithi Trayodasi Moon continues through its debilitation sign, Scorpio, and through Anuradha nakshatra. Mitra brings deeper connections through friendships, alliances and support. As an Aditya, he is a form of the Sun, bringing resources in the form of relationships. With Moon conjuncting Saturn right now, there is a need to look at grief, personal and ancestral, that may be hindering your ability to connect on deeper levels. There is an uprooting taking place that will allow you to release and let go of parts of yourself that are no longer serving you. This includes relationships and connections that are not aligned with your hightest needs. Allow the release to take place. Why might you be resisting the letting go? Who are you when you no longer have painful relationships in your life? What does your life look like when you are aligned with those who fully love and honor you? Early evening Moon arrives in Jyeshtha nakshatra and Indra brings his strength, tenacity and clarity. Pause and check in with your inner needs. Tuesday, December 27th Moon in 14th tithi Chaturdasi Moon moves into exact conjunction with Saturn today, provoking grief, hardship and pain to rise to the surface. Both planets are navigating Jyeshtha nakshatra right now, Indra's domain. Let grief release, find channels to let the emotional body move and stay close to the physical body. Saturn is also the container, the body, of the cosmic self. As the Moon magnifies the grief of Saturn today and the dynamics of the mental body in Jyeshtha nakshatra, it's important to not get lost in the confusion and overwhelm. Stay close to your body and breath, in order to harvest your needs. Find stability within the body, but surf the emotional body waves diligently. Get clear on what is mind stuff (chitta vritti) and what is emotions. These bodies are very different and have very different needs, but so often get intertwined, sparking confusion, intensified pain and suffering. What does your emotional body need right now? What does your mental body need? What does your physical body need? What does your spiritual body need? * All timing is Mountain Standard Time.

Winter Solstice is a powerful time of emptying and letting go, creating space for more nourishment in the coming cycles. What do you wish to create in the months ahead? What seeds are you planting in this time of darkness? On the darkest day of the year, there is a great opportunity for releasing and letting go of the past seasons. This is your still point. The pause. The sacred in-between. Linger here for a moment and create a deeper intention for your path in the coming months. ::: Join me for a free Winter Solstice Web Class ::: December 21st @ 6pm MST Please RSVP to join the list: swatijrjyotish@gmail.com This Week's Intention: Your emotional body may be charged and the waves extra choppy. How do you use this potent inner strength mindfully? Do you channel it consciously and move towards your goals with purpose, or do you let this strength burn you up? Be attentive and notice how you use your power. A tempestuous full Moon jump starts the week. Be very attentive to your steps. Go slow, pause and listen deep within. Chaotic energies will be high on and around the full Moon, so take this into consideration when making plans, traveling and moving your body. Partly it is because you are less grounded and less attentive- and partly it is due to what is influencing you cosmically. This is an opportunity to go slow and listen to your inner needs very carefully. Whatever is coming to the surface, give it your presence. You are being cracked open right now in new ways, powerful ways- in order for you to bring the light to the parts of you that have been hidden and neglected. It's time to awaken and burst forth! Find your grounding chord and hold on! Monday, June 20th Moon in 15th to 1st tithi Purnima to Pratipad The June full Moon is on Monday the 20th at 05:02 am Mountain Daylight time. Moon will be transiting Sagittarius and Mula nakshatra at the time of the full Moon. Rahu gives his shadowy gaze to the Moon, as well as the tempestuous pair, Sun and Venus, currently combust in Gemini. The heat and uncertainty will be palpable in the cycle to come, increasing overwhelm and confusion. The necessity for uprooting, creating change and moving into right-relationship with the chaos principle, will be imperative. Movement, change and momentum will increase through branching out, reaching and extending. Imagine it, then create it. Explore new possibilities, try new resources, ask for support in new ways. Communicate your needs and reach towards that which will increase your nourishment. Many will feel stuck in the chaos and unable to see past the turmoil, undermining your ability to create and manifest. This cycle is an opportunity to work with the chaos, to use it as a resource for deep transformation and change. It is also Summer Solstice for the Northern Hemisphere today. The light, inner and outer, is at its peak. Read More about the full Moon and Solstice in my June Full Moon Wisdom As evening arrives, Moon shifts into the second constellation of Sagittarius, PurvaAshada. Let the water flow. Allow the wisdom of Apas, the water goddess, to support the movement and flow of your inner ocean. What is your relationship with "it's never enough"? Join me for a special June Abundance class! From Scarcity to Abundance. An embodied and creative approach to increasing your wealth. Early Bird pricing ends June 20th. Get the Details Tuesday, June 21st Moon in 1st and 2nd tithi Pratipad to Dvitiya The majority of the day, Moon moves through the watery, second constellation of Sagittarius, PurvaAshada. Ruling planet Venus will request attention to your life force energy, while the deity Apas will support the flow. Venus, however, is currently in a heated battle with the Sun, combust and burning. Life force energy, Shakti, is fragile. Pushing, forcing or over-doing it, will not serve you. Notice where you are depleting your self, your inner awareness, and going against your divine feminine wisdom. The antidote to the heat is slow, steady and attentive steps that bring you into sacred pause. Listen carefully to your needs and cool down. Listen to all four bodies equally. Late evening the Sun energy takes over as Moon shifts into UttaraAshada. Sun has just shifted into Ardra nakshatra, moving through Gemini. The forces within are intensifying. The heat is on. Stay out of the fire. Wednesday, June 22nd Moon in 3rd tithi Tritiya Just after Wednesday begins, Moon moves to Capricorn. Saturn and Mars both give their drishti. As rulers of Capricorn they request an integration between action and inaction, while the emotional body will likely feel the heat and the pressure of this. The Vishva Devas bring their principles of righteousness and inner intelligence with them today. They rule the domain of UttaraAshada nakshatra, enforcing the Laws of Nature and that which aligns with dharma. Going against ones dharma has dire effects on success and one's evolution. Sun rules this constellation as a planetary energetic guide. Currently in battle with creative planet Venus, he is scorching the life force energy within. Purification is high and the heat is turned up! Late afternoon, Moon shifts into the sacred portal between constellations, known as Abhijit. Also called the 28th nakshatra, this star is a place of sanctuary, a place to land within. Use this time to set intentions, quiet the mind, pause and check the four bodies. Meditate, get embodied, spend time with the Divine Mother in nature. Listen and awaken your receptivity. What do you hear? This gap is open until midnight so plan your action steps accordingly. Thursday, June 23rd Moon in 4th tithi Chaturthi Moon continues to move through Capricorn and enters Sravana as the day begins. Sun and Venus are now in the extreme and often brutal nakshatra, Ardra. The challenges with their battle may intensify in the coming days, heating the emotional body especially. Sravana is ruled by the Moon, so expect your emotion body to need extra attention today. The drishti of Saturn and Mars increase the pressure and fire. Forcing or pushing actions and desires will result in disappointment, frustration and rage. Where can you surrender, pause and make adjustments that create more space between you and your story? How is your personal mythology impacting your choices and agenda right now? Do you have the support you need to weather this storm? Gather resources and guidance. Late Thursday evening, Moon moves to the Mars ruled nakshatra, Dhanishata. The Vasu Devas collide with your inner light and support your illumination. You may try to force this process, but it won't work. Your ripening is unique and extraordinary. Let go of your time frame and surrender. Friday, June 24th Moon in 5th tithi Panchami Moon transits Capricorn and Dhanishta nakshatra, receiving gaze from Mars and Saturn. Pressure and heat effect the emotional body. Strategies, set goals and clarify your intentions- but know when to surrender and find ease. Just before noon, Moon moves to Aquarius, joining the spiritual planet Ketu. Notorious for disconnecting, the emotional body will be extra fragile and sensitive in the coming days. Jupiter and Rahu give their gaze- currently in exact degrees. The dance between human and spiritual needs intensifies. Notice where the lack of clarity is keeping you from making empowered choices. As Moon continues through Dhanishta, the light within intensifies. The Vasu Devas support shining and being seen. Frustrations may arrive for those who are not feeling seen, heard or acknowledged. What do you need? Who and what do you need for greater support? Late night, Moon moves to Satabisha nakshatra, provoking healing and insight. Attend to self care tonight and avoid choices that take you off your path. Mind your health. The exact conjunction of Rahu and Jupiter instigates a fierce battle between polarities. Rahu is the demon self, or human self, while Jupiter represents the spiritual self. Who will win? This collision of Jupiter and Rahu in Leo will provoke an interesting dance between the god-self and human-self. Saturn gives his stern, forceful gaze to these two planets from his perch in Scorpio. This focused energy will add an extra layer of intensity to the already powerful force of Jupiter and Rahu. When the energy of Rahu and Saturn conjoin, a Rudra effect is stirred. This can bring power, potency and intense movement as well as quick changes. This combination increases the theme of working with power authentically and carefully which will intensify after Jupiter moves to Virgo in August. Rahu and Jupiter invite an integration of opposing forces. This is a time for your inner god to meet your inner demon, your light to meet your darkness. These forces are at play within each one of us. What is your relationship with your darkness? With your light? This will be an opportunity to get more intimate with your modes of operation. Wherever you've been neglecting your darkness, spiritually by-passing, or avoiding it unconsciously, it will show up to test you and your power at this time. Normally, Jupiter is a comfort and a support, yet the relationship between Jupiter and Rahu is contradictory. Your demon and god qualities will be forced to face each other in the first six months of this cycle. How can both get their needs met, in order for greater harmony within? Where have you been avoiding this integration of your human and god qualities? This is a great time to be aware of where you may be refusing to look at your human parts with authenticity. Simultaneously, spirit is a great ally and a wonderful resource for extra support. However, even spirit wants you to evolve as a human being. It's time to be a fully integrated human. Gather the resources you need for this process. Read More About Rahu and Jupiter and Their Transit Through Leo Saturday, June 25th Moon in 6th tithi Shashti Moon moves through Satabisha today- Varuna's constellation. He sees all and is notorious for a highly critical response to his "all seeing" vision. His ability to notice everything and see with his thousands of eyes, means that nothing gets past his gaze. Taking care of your health and healing practices during Satabisha transits is especially vital, as he will punish those who go against Natural Laws. Cut, clear and sever that which does not serve your health and wellness- physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Clean up your life and notice where you are complicating things with lack of attention and intention. Late evening, Moon moves into Purvabhadrapada nakshatra and the need for balance- inner and outer- increases. How can you honor the needs of your human self and spiritual self? Sunday, June 26th Moon in 7th tithi Saptami Balance and integration are powerful themes today as Moon continues through Aquarius the sign of integration of opposing forces. Ketu's conjunction with the Moon insures there will be a release process- either forced or obliged. The drishti of Rahu and Jupiter on the Moon will invite in an extra necessity for balance and harmony between opposites. As Moon moves through Purvabhadra, Ajaikapada forces the issue of inner and outer balance. He dances between worlds- insisting you step into a more harmonious dance with all your different parts. What polarities are in conflict within you? Part of you wants something new and different, yet another part of you resists the change. Be honest about these needs and stabilize within your body for more integration. The physical is the only things that's real- right now. Stay connected. Moon shifts into Pisces late afternoon, stirring endings and final release. Late Sunday evening, the Moon arrives into Uttarabhadrapada nakshatra and your depths are stirred. As June closes, Mercury makes another transition, moving into Gemini- joining the combust pair Sun and Venus. Late evening on June 26th, Mercury shifts into Gemini, its own sign, marking a month long transit of mental body clean up. The mental body likes this thought provoking, creative sign, but will meet some heat and conflict with the tumult of Sun and Venus during this transit. This trio will continue to track each other closely through the end of July, so be mindful of the heat and keep your mind cool. The burning heat of the Sun provokes a purification process, this time influencing the mental body. However it may not be comfortable or even effective during the transit. Read more about Mercury in Gemini Monday, June 27th Moon in 8th tithi Ashtami Monday begins with Moon transiting the final sign of the zodiac as the emotional body continues to wane. Endings increase. Let go and release. Where are you clinging or holding on, unable to surrender? As Moon continues through Uttarabhadrapada, connect with your depths and inner wisdom. Dive deep within and find your inner knowing. There is potent transformation available to those who are committed to the exploration of their unconscious territory. Your willingness will take you far. Let your body wisdom be the catalyst for deeper exploration. Where do you feel the challenges you face- within your body? What does this part of your body have to share with you? Listen carefully for the messages and the needs arriving. Your presence alone can be a healing resource. * Timing given is Mountain Daylight time. What is your relationship with "it's never enough"?

Communicate your needs and reach towards that which will increase your nourishment. Many will feel stuck in the chaos and unable to see past the turmoil, undermining your ability to create and manifest. This cycle is an opportunity to work with the chaos, to use it as a resource for deep transformation and change. How will you lean in to the turmoil, rather than away from it? What is the underlying root cause of the chaos that is stirring? What you are seeking is most certainly more grounding, support and stability. The chaos undermines your ability to feel the stability that you are seeking. Be honest with yourself. Are you addicted to the instability? The old patterns of chaos and calamity? The self doubt and uncertainty? As well as the overwhelm? You are perpetuating these patterns and beliefs through your relationship with your mental and emotional bodies. Intercept the stories as they emerge. Track your patterns and behaviors diligently. Seek resources and support to help you re-frame, recreate and restructure your old stories and conditioning. Mula nakshatra is notorious for pulling you off your dharmic path. Nirrti, the goddess of adharma (against dharma) is the ruling deity here. Her shadow and illusion come in the form of chaos and calamity, keeping you in a perpetual storm- in fight and flight. The adrenals get taxed in this constant state of movement for no reason. Be mindful of your actions, choices and steps. Understand that she will be purposely working against you, undermining your sense of knowing and clarity. You may not be making wise choices in this cycle- unless you are truly grounded, embodied and connected to your tap root! The antidote to Nirrti's chaotic ways and lack of dharmic support, is through your body wisdom. Let the body be how you resource and connect to your truth, clarity and purpose. When you are struggling to make decisions and align with your direction and dharmic path, it will be your body that guides you home. Do not make decisions or take action steps in a frazzled, disembodied place. Be conscious of the food choices you make as well. There will be a tendency at this time to over consume caffeine and stimulants as well as excess sugar. You may stay up too late and get off your good routine, forget to take care of your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual body needs. Stay as close to your inner resourcing as you can at this time. Allow spirit to be a resource as you uproot, change and transform from your depths. Stay out of the self-induced chaos as much as possible. Summer Solstice is also Monday, June 20th at 4:34 PM MDT. This is the first day of summer for the northern hemisphere as well as the longest day of light. The Sun will be rising earlier and setting later, creating extra illumination. This natural phenomenon is metaphoric for the increasing light within you, as well as the ripening taking place. With the Sun/Venus combustion currently, it's also a reminder to watch for excess heat and burning up too much of your life force energy. Stay cool, go slow, take sacred pauses and deep breaths. Stay in water and near water as much as you can. Don't get burned! Creative RitualUse this self tracking process as a resource to weather the storm and the challenges of the cycle ahead. What is your relationship with "it's never enough"?
Join me for a special June Abundance class! From Scarcity to Abundance! An embodied and creative approach to increasing your wealth. Early Bird pricing ends June 20th. Get the Details This Week's Intention: Changes are happening within you and around you. Use your creative powers within to strengthen your steps and purpose. Allow vulnerability to create possibility- rather than defeat and fear. Integrate and unify opposing forces and let harmony be your guide. The week begins with a waxing Moon and Venus just arriving in Gemini, a friendly sign. The heated war between Sun and Venus pauses as Venus shifts to Gemini on June 12th. The previous weeks have purified, clarified and helped you simplify life, relationships and needs. This trend continues once Sun hops into Gemini on the 14th. Once again, watery Venus will be closely conjunct fiery Sun, causing a heated combustion to take place. This war story continues for the coming months- on again and off again. Pay close attention to themes with relationships, money matters, self worth and power issues as they will be flaring up as a result of this dynamic. Remember this is an opportunity for you to clarify your needs and do the necessary clean up both inner and outer. Mars retrogrades back into Libra late week. Some space is created between Mars and Saturn and the conflict between these opposing forces downgrades to an exchange of signs. In this way, they can give each other more support, rather than excess conflict. Enjoy a bit more increased momentum in the coming weeks. Monday, June 13th Moon in 9th tithi Navami The mental body is activated today as Moon moves through Mercury's sign, Virgo. Just as Monday begins, Moon shifts to Hasta nakshatra- insight and awakening arrive. Savitr rules this constellation, ensuring that light, wisdom and truth will be present within you. What are you not seeing? What have you been refusing to acknowledge or accept? Today, the vision will be bright, your sight will be illuminated. Pay attention and move towards the light. Clarify and activate your inner truth. Your inner knowing will be strong so listen carefully. Tuesday, June 14th Moon in 10th tithi Dashami Mid morning, Moon shifts to Chitra nakshatra and Vishvakarma brings his focused action steps and momentum. Mars rules this star and he is now in the gap between Scorpio and Libra. The door is open between these signs, causing energy to circulate between vulnerability and balance. Use the unknown to cultivate new possibility. Chitra translates as "the brilliant" and is symbolized by a shining jewel. It's a highly creative constellation, bringing the creative process to life. As Moon moves through the 10th Moon phase today, dharma is enlivened. Put your dharmic work into action. Carve out your path. Create through your inner brilliance. Let your subtle realms be the resource for awakening your steps. Late evening Moon moves into Libra, stirring creative energy and the need for balance. Go slow and use the body as a resource for finding stability. Just before noon, Sun moves to Gemini, joining Venus here, continuing their heated battle between fire and water, precision and flow, human and soul needs. This cycle is a potent refinement process that will ask you to be get clear and focused about your desires. There is ancestral support and guidance for those who lean into this spiritual resource. Mars gives his gaze to Gemini (until he shifts back into Libra), which is a challenging sign for him as the warrior and mind don't get along (the ruling planet of Gemini is Mercury). However, Mars does connect well with both Sun and Venus, so he lends his support for action and momentum nonetheless. Ketu's gaze to Gemini, shifts the focus, bringing disconnection and restructuring, while at times offering disassociation as well. Read more about Sun in Gemini in my June Horoscopes Wednesday, June 15th Moon in 11th tithi Ekadashi Moon moves into Swati nakshatra late morning as Sun continues to land in Gemini. Our light source is- both inner and outer will feel vulnerability enlivened as he adjusts to his new home, rejoining close proximity to Venus simultaneously. As Moon moves through Libra, a Venus ruled sign, it mirrors the need for balance, stability and grounding today. Swati nakshatra undermines this need with its constant movement- often increasing distraction and detachment, rather than balanced forces within. The winds will be blowing in and around you so find your earth based resources and the support you need to counter the air quality. Are you stuck in excess movement, or can you stop, pause and attend to your roots more consciously? Thursday, June 16th Moon in 12th tithi Dvadasi The first half of the day is connected to Swati's movement and the winds of Vayu who continue to rule the day. Ground, stabilize, make friends with your prana. After noon, Moon shifts into Vishaka nakshatra and duality arrives. Finding the integration between opposing forces is vital. The split in your being undermines your empowerment, clarity and strength. What is the need underneath your opposition? The part of you resisting your power and purpose? Seek unity with all parts of you. You must befriend the part of yourself that is resisting and saying no. This is where your greatest resources reside. Friday, June 17th Moon in 13th tithi Dvadashi Late morning, Moon moves to its debilitation sign, Scorpio, passing over sandhi Mars who will move to Libra later today. Moon will also conjunct Saturn in the coming days as it transits through Scorpio. This impacts the emotional body with contraction, tenderness and grief. Suffering is unleashed from the emotional body. Do you surrender to the waves or resist and suppress the pain? The emotional body is requesting your attention and diligence in the coming days. Soften and lean in. Give yourself extra time and space to honor the pain emerging. Moon shifts to Anuradha nakshatra late afternoon, bringing support through transformation and regeneration, as well as through friends and loved ones. Go slow and honor the emerging emotions rising within. Some may feel a certain flatness. That's your emotional body going into freeze. Find resources to help you thaw. On June 17th, retrograde Mars returns to Libra. Mars has been in retrograde motion since April 15th, transiting Scorpio with Saturn- who is also retrograde right now. Normally, Mars would be excited to transit his own, familiar territory, however, an intruder also occupies his home. Right now this enemy (Saturn) is in his enemy’s sign and uncomfortable digging up the depths and subconscious territory of Scorpio. Read more about Sun Mars in Libra in my June Horoscopes Saturday, June 18th Moon in 14th tithi Chaturdashi Moon transits Scorpio and Anuradha nakshatra today. The Moon is in its final phases of the waxing cycle. Mitra, the ruling deity of Anuradha, brings support from friends and tradition, but requires you to dive into your depths for transformation and change. There's a certain rising from the ashes, growing from the mud and reaching for the sky. Your body wisdom will be the catalyst for this momentum- for your grounded sense of self and your steady steps. Late afternoon, Moon shifts to Jyeshtha and collides with retrograde Saturn. The mental and emotional bodies will be sensitive and needing your extra attention. Be gentle and kind to yourself. Go slow, be steady. Ground from within. Attend to your inner sensitivity, your grief and all that is stirring and transforming within. Tides are high, surf your inner ocean. Sunday, June 19th Moon in 15th tithi Purnima Moon embarks on the final stages of the waxing cycle, entering fullness and stirring the chaos of release and transformation. The Moon finishes up its time in Scorpio and debilitation, separating from conjunction with Saturn and completing its movement through Jyeshtha nakshatra today. Indra is the ruler of this constellation, bringing with him deep sensitivity as well as strength, power and passion. It's vital that you attend to your emotional body, likely stirred and provoked by the mental body, stories, old paradigms, your unconscious terrain today. This is a time to break open, break free, release and transform your old woundology. Where are you resisting? How can you lean in closer and listen with your presence? Early evening, Moon makes the leap into Sagittarius- from water into fire- landing in Mula nakshatra. Nirrti, the goddess of adharma provokes your transformation and change. Deepen your relationship with the chaos, but separate yourself from the addiction to it. Monday, June 20th Moon in 15th to 1st tithi Purnima to Pratipad The June full Moon is on Monday the 20th at 05:02 am Mountain Daylight time. Moon will be transiting Sagittarius and Mula nakshatra at the time of the full Moon.
