The Nine Phases of Your Dharmic Path.

Awakening your dharmic path is not a linear process. It doesn't occur in a straight line or in a way that even seems logical. As a result, I often hear clients confused, frustrated, uncertain and fearful that their path is not unfolding properly. They doubt that they have found their dharmic path, which can often derail them from ever moving forward.

Do you ever have doubts? Do you doubt your gifts and wisdom? Do you doubt if you are on path, or off path? Do you doubt if the challenges you are facing are keeping you stuck and disconnected? Do you doubt if you're making progress?

It's important to realize that your dharmic path has many phases, steps and transformational experiences along the way. This is a life long process.  You only have one soul purpose. Each phase of the journey is supporting the path as a whole. Each part of the journey is unique. If you know how to use each phase of the growth process, it can keep you connected to your path for the long term- and trust your steps.

Without the ability to trust your path, your gifts and wisdom, you can get lost in adharma- that which goes against dharma. Consciously choosing to connect with your path and purpose is key. This takes commitment and a willingness to show up- even when its hard.

What phase of your dharmic path are you in right now?

What phases of this journey have you already completed?

The Durga Phase of the Dharmic Path:

1) Challenge. This phase of the journey is often wrought with crisis, turmoil, grief, or hardship of some sort. When you are in a challenge portion of the process, it can be a powerful catalyst for major life change and growth. It can also keep you stuck for days, weeks, years, or lifetimes. Are you addicted to the turmoil and chaos? Or do you know how to use challenge as a life-changing catalyst? Every challenge has a gift. You must learn how to use challenge as a change agent- so that it becomes a resource for powerful growth.

2) Release. There is no possibility for gain without letting go of something. Release, loss, death are all necessary and vital parts of the transformation and healing process. When we let go of something, we are creating space. Space for something new. If you are not willing to let go and experience loss, you will never have the space to receive what you truly need and desire. One of the most powerful parts of the dharmic path is learning how to grieve and be in right relationship with your emotional body.

3) Resistance. Most people are afraid of powerful life change- even if it means life will be better than they can imagine. Fear keeps you resistant to moving forward, creating something new, manifesting your needs, allowing the nourishment to flow. Fear and resistance are one and the same. When you are not in right relationship with your fear, it will create resistance to moving forward, resistance to clarity, resistance to awakening your gifts and wisdom. One of the biggest forms of resistance I encounter with clients is a fear of success, a resistance to actually creating what they truly want in their lives. Resistance and fear can keep you stuck your entire life- unless you are willing to face it directly and awaken its gifts.

Lakshmi Phase of the Dharmic Path:

4) Growth. Sometimes you allow the growth to take place, sometimes the growth is forced upon you. Either way, growth is asking you to move in a different direction, to expand. I often tell clients to move in the direction of their nourishment. Whatever nourishes you will be life supporting. True dharma creates deep nourishment on all levels of life. Are you moving towards your nourishment or away from it? Growth and change go hand in hand. Don't resist your own growth.

5) Desire. All growth comes from some desire- conscious or unconscious. Your desires are powerful- and the key to manifestation. Desire is what brought you into human form and desire is what supports your evolution. Without desire there is no growth, change, transformation- or even healing. Let your desires be the spark that supports the life changing results you truly want. Make sure your action steps align with your desires. Desire is a good thing!

6) Abundance. When you are able to receive the nourishment that life has to offer, you will feel abundant. Receiving is key to feeling the abundance of Nature whether it's more vitality, money, love, nourishment, creativity or any of the other blessings of Lakshmi. Are you in right relationship with receiving? Does your body feel safe to receive the nourishment of life? Receiving can not be forced. Life sustaining nourishment comes when the body feels safe to receive. Always work on creating safety within- so that the body can naturally begin to receive the nourishment it truly needs. What helps you feel safe?

Saraswati Phase of the Dharmic Path:

7) Creativity. Ideas, imagination, and creativity are powerful forces of transformation and change. This entire existence was, and is, a result of creative life force energy. What are you creating in your life? Consciously direct your creative powers. Your immense human imagination is capable of creating whatever you desire. How are you using your creative powers? In order for your life path to unfold, you must be willing to honor your creativity, imagination and ideas with consistent action steps. Manifestation skills are directly connected to creativity and innovation.

8) Learning. The dharmic path requires a willingness to expand, learn, and grow. You must be willing to gather new insights, wisdom, tools and support along the way. Are you seeking out guidance for your path? Or are you trying to do it all alone? Acquiring wisdom and guidance for the journey is nonnegotiable, but you also must know when and how to trust yourself and your own inner wisdom. This requires balance with inner and outer seeking. What have you learned on your journey so far? Do you trust your inner wisdom, or are you still seeking all your answers outside of yourself? Dharma requires deep self trust and the ability to listen to your inner wisdom.

9) Connection. Dharma is not a lonely journey, meant to be done in isolation and no contact with others. You are a householder- meaning that your dharmic path includes others in some capacity. True dharma is reciprocal. When you share your gifts and wisdom with others, they benefit as well as you. Connection, co-creation, expansion, and relationship are vital for the path of dharma to fully blossom and unfold. When you are willing to share your light with others, the whole world becomes enlightened. You must be willing to touch lives in meaningful ways or your dharmic path will not unfold and grow- and neither will you! Connection supports your ability to awaken through learning and wisdom.

All parts of the dharmic path are important. You will move in and out of these phases in a non-linear way. You will circle back and through these steps over and over again along your life path. You may touch parts of this phase continuously throughout your journey, and revisit each phase more than once. The important thing is that you must keep moving on not get stuck.

Honor where you find yourself on the path right now, but continue to grow, change and transform. This requires seeking out guidance and support from those that understand the dharmic path- while also deepening your self trust and your own ability to hear your inner wisdom. Dharma requires skill in action, strengthening your gifts and wisdom- and sharing it with others so the whole world benefits.

Where do you find yourself in this process? What needs are surfacing? What is feeling nourishing and supportive? Where are you stuck or stagnant?

Don't forget to ask for help and be willing to try something new.

Emotional Body Authenticity + Loving Kindness

Emotional body literacy is rare.

Very few people learn the art of emotional body intelligence, let alone put it into action through relationship with self, relationship with others, and heart centered communication.

The ability to attend your emotional body inner wisdom consistently and authentically takes courage, commitment, presence and ongoing practice. But the results are profound.

It is vulnerable territory. To show up radically for yourself- to navigate the often choppy and violent inner waters.

The emotional body is as wild and untamed as the Divine Feminine.

She is your ever expanding Self. She often forces you to look at Her even though you'd rather not. Most people are resisting Her- which means they are also missing her wisdom, intelligence and gifts as well.

As you courageously move closer to your emotional body, you gain access to a fuller range of experience. As a human being.

Deepening emotional body intelligence increases your capacity to feel, to receive, to get needs met, and therefore be nourished more as well.

I've come to the conclusion that everyone has the same basic core need:
deeper nourishment.

Think about it.

To be "nourished" means that you feel safe, comforted, supported. It means that you have moved beyond survival. It means that you are receiving on some level- you are not in resistance or avoidance.

Nourishment is life, essentially.

When you are able to say yes to nourishment, it means you are saying yes to life as well.

How often do you feel nourished?

When does this feeling show up?

Who does it show up with?

Who does it not show up with?

What does nourishment mean to you?

Where do you feel nourishment in your body when it arrives?!

Nourishment is a powerful resource.

A tool of resiliency and inner stability. It is a baseline that can help deepen receptivity- so other needs can be met. It is also an important marker for emotional body intelligence.

Inner tracking is the first step in honoring what is arriving within.

It can open the door of loving kindness- for yourself and others. It can help you show up for yourself in a non judgemental way, a compassionate way. When you can show up for yourself in this way, you can start showing up for others in this way too.

You can start communicating from this place as well. (Ill be sharing more about heart centered communication in the coming days).
If you're ready to deepen your relationship with Nourishment, see below.

I've posted a Creative Ritual to help you honor your inner nourishment and to help you build more awareness with this powerful resource.

In the coming days I will continue to share resources that will support your emotional body relationship.

I'm honored you are following along, that this conversation is meaningful to you, that you feel a desire to lean in closure to yourself and your inner landscape.

It takes courage. But it is a vital part of the healing journey. Your willingness to listen to your inner intelligence will take you far.

Looking forward to sharing more emotional body wisdom with you in the coming days as we continue this 14 day journey together.

Nourishment Creative Ritual

1) Using craypas, paints or pencils, create an image of your nourishment. What does nourishment feel like for you? Create an image that expresses this feeling using colors, textures and shapes. Allow 20 minutes at minimum for this nourishment image. Title your image.

2) Use your image to inspire a movement exploration. Let your body move in response to yournourishment image with an intention of "moving with your feelings of nourishment". What sensations emerge for you during your dance? What awareness? Allow 5 to 10 minutes for this movement exploration. I encourage you to extend this time frame as you recycle this process.

3) Harvesting. In your journal answer these questions:

I am, I want, I need, I sense, I feel, I imagine.

What deeply nourishes me? What no longer nourishes me?
Where do I feel support in my life? Where do I need more support?
What am I opening to? What am I closing to?

Moon Mind Calendar {April 11th to 17th}

This Week's Intention: Allow the divine feminine to move you, shape you and re-create you. Open, respond, awaken and surrender. Where is your rigidity keeping you resistant to receiving? Where are you saying no- to more nourishment and abundance from life?

Moon is waxing as the Navaratri celebrations continue. The Vedic New Year continues to unfold with the wisdom of the Divine Mothers, guiding the opening of this new cycle ahead. This week, Lakshmi and goddess Saraswati offer nourishment through health and wisdom, abundance and creative power. Attend to the divine feminine wisdom within and allow yourself to deepen receptivity. Sun jump starts a new cycle this week as it moves into its sign of exaltation, Aries. Mars goes retrograde, inviting in a new way of working with your inner warrior.

Monday, April 11th
Moon in 5th tithi
Panchami

Today is the fifth day of Navaratri and the second of three dedicated to Maha Lakshmi. Themes of nourishment, health, vitality and wellness intensify. Recite Lakshmi mantras and listen to Chandi Path recitations for extra support. Let nourishment be a theme for you in the coming days. How can you allow in more nourishment and support for yourself on the four levels of your being- mental, emotional, physical and spiritual?  During the three days of Lakshmi, bring sweets and flowers to your altar, cook nourishing foods for your Self, decorate and adorn your Self. This is a time to focus on self care diligently.

The waxing Moon transits Mrigashirsha nakshatra, Soma's domain. Nourishment is here, it's flowing, it's abundant, are you feeling Her? Receiving Her? Soma is another name for the Moon (Chandra). Drink Her nectar by honoring Her divine feminine wisdom. Are you moving with Her, or against Her? Align with Her receptivity and be nourished by knowing. Your inner knowing is Her gift. Surrender to this flow. Lean in, listen, pause, wait.

Late afternoon Moon shifts to Gemini. Ketu and Mars now give their drishti (gaze) to the emotional body. Crack open, let the light in, the new life in. Anger and irritation are signs that you are misusing your power. What needs to shift in order for greater alignment with your inner power source? Keep it moving. Keep opening. Keep surrendering to the flow.

Tuesday, April 12th
Moon in 6th tithi
Sashti

Today is the sixth day of Navaratri and the final day of three dedicated to Maha Lakshmi.

Early morning, Moon moves to the sharp and often dreadful constellation, Ardra, ruled by the powerful storm god Rudra. Known for his immense strength (especially emotional power), Rudra can bring sudden changes with potent outcomes. He brings a thunderstorm effect with him- expect lighting and thunder as well as heavy rains. This process is vital for clearing, releasing and letting go. Allow your grief to move, let tears flow, soften the heart and create space for what you truly want and need for deeper nourishment. The space you create within your emotional body will open you up to receive more and more of what you really do want. Allow the spring rains to move through you and be present to the flow.

Sun is nearing the end of a year long cycle through the twelve signs of the zodiac. The Vedic New Year officially arrives once Sun jumps into its exaltation sign, Aries, marking beginnings and openings. Themes of closure, endings and release abound, leading up to this powerful jump start. Attend to the tenderness of this time and allow grief and emotions to move through you. Use the Physical and Spiritual bodies to support your release process.

Wednesday, April 13th
Moon in 7th tithi
Saptami

Today, is the seventh day of Navaratri, and the first of three days dedicated to Maha Saraswati. Her wisdom, creative power and nourishment through spiritual resources, can be a powerful guide right now. Use Saraswati mantras to connect with her gifts as well as Chandi Path recitations for support with transformation. Saraswati gives us knowledge, understanding, wisdom, creativity and artistry. She is the rasayana (or healing balm) if you will, that closes out this sacred nine day celebration. For the final days of Navaratri, dedicated to Saraswati, music, art and poetry can be a good way to focus your energy, efforts and intentions. Use creativity, artistry and embodiment resources for grounding and landing in your intentions. Use my Creative Rituals and Tapping Meditation Podcasts for support with this process.

Just as Wednesday begins, Moon moves to Aditi's star, Punarvasu. This is a changeable, moveable, constellation. Results of the day may shift as a result. Aditi brings resources, support and wisdom. Allow resources to flow towards you today. Where are you saying no to support, harmony and balance? How can you move into more receiving? Duality is keeping you in the dark. Aditi (non difference) brings the light, whereas her sister, Diti (difference) brings a lack of integration and harmony within. Strengthen your receptivity today. Harmonize polarities, find balance, align with your inner truth.

Late evening, Moon shifts to its most harmonious sign, Cancer. Moon moves out of the gaze of the other planets, while it transits its own sign. Emotional body harmony is possible. Attend to your inner waters with sacred intention in the coming days. Harvest the wisdom.

A new solar cycle begins on April 13th at 07:54 Mountain Daylight Time. Our light source, the Sun, is of utmost importance for inner and outer growth. While the Moon brings the necessary nourishment that can support the growth process. When the Moon is illuminated at night, the light of the Sun can be more easily absorbed, becoming Soma, or divine nectar within. Both planets are resources for life force energy. Balance between both are essential for receiving the gifts, resources and support abundant in life and Nature.

Jupiter and Rahu give their gaze to the Sun in Aries, intensifying the transit through immense expansion. Are you resisting this growth? In the cycle to come, working diligently with the masculine energy of structure will be vital. The masculine parts of yourself will be asked to be suppressed, negated, reconstructed, deconstructed and re-created. A liberation process is afoot. In this overtly masculine-centric society, all genders have tendencies towards excess masculine energy. This promotes excess structure, the need for outcome, lack of surrender, fear of the unknown and misalignment with force and power. Being in right-relationship with these parts of your being are essential for inner balance and harmony to occur. Where is the mind following your overly masculine-centric paradigms? How does the mind play out the patterns and behaviors of your inner Sun?

Polarities continue to be a potent resource for growth and healing in the coming cycle. Can you identify the parts of you that are in conflict with each other? The parts of you that say yes, while the other half of you say no? These inner wars will induce fear, chaos, stress, overwhelm and feelings of mal-nourishment in life.  Unless these polarities can come into right relationship with each other, inner and outer balance can not be achieved. Notice how your relationships are in fact a mirror for these inner battles within you. What parts of yourself are asking you to take a closer look? Look in the many mirrors presenting themselves to you and do the necessary inner work to clear the challenges so you can receive the nourishment on the other side.

There is nourishment to be had in the cycle ahead, and plenty of it. The only question is- are you able to receive it? What blockages are keeping you from fully receiving the divine abundance circling around you and through you? What parts of you say yes, while others say no- on the Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual body levels? Where are there obstructions, clogging or misalignment? The solar cycle ahead will be an invitation for more transformation, deeper healing, alignment with your inner fire, the agni of life. Feed your flame with diligence and consciousness. Take the necessary steps for a balanced and harmonious outcome.

As you continue to track your inner process and development, notice the global stage. The conflicts within masculine (containment) and feminine (expansion) dynamics are ripe and intensifying. The battles are raging on, yet the imbalances increase simultaneously. The global mirror is also a powerful place to look at for our own self growth. I believe firmly that change begins within, that personal development- that is whole, integrated and balanced- is as necessary for the individual as it is for our world family. Use the coming month of Sun exalted in Aries to commit to awakening, inner power, overcoming blockages that keep you from your immense value and potential. Let this intention carry you through the coming year as the new solar cycle unfolds.

Thursday, April 14th
Moon in 8th tithi
Ashtami

Today, is the eight day of Navaratri, and the second day of three dedicated to Maha Saraswati. Her wisdom, creative power, and nourishment through spiritual resources, can be a powerful guide right now. Enliven your creativity by removing mental and emotional body blockages keeping you from receiving Her divine wisdom!

Early morning, Moon shifts to the nourishing star, Pushya, symbolized by the udder of a cow. This nakshatra exemplifies the life giving nourishment that surrounds- circulating in and around you. The Divine Mothers insure that you are well taken care of, able to receive all Her goodness and bounty. Can you feel Her support? What parts of your life are you not able to receive Her gifts? These are channels that are clogged and need increased nourishment. Opening and removing blockages will help your receptivity and your ability to feel the abundance that is already here. Pushya nakshatra exemplifies the open/close dynamic of the breath, chest and lungs. As Moon moves through the Fourth House, the seat of emotions, heart, mother and earth/land, the emotional body is supporting your opening and closing process. Let the breath be a resource for the integration of these polarities. What are you opening to? What are you closing to?

Ready to take your inner growth to the next level and deepen your relationship with your inner feminine wisdom?

Integrate polarities, strengthen Creative Intelligence, clarify your strength and purpose!

Friday, April 15th
Moon in 9th to 10th tithi
Navami, Dashami

Today, is the ninth day of Navaratri, and the final day of three dedicated to Maha Saraswati. It is also Raam Navami, the birth of Lord Raam. The ninth Moon phase (tithi) is called Navami in Sanskrit. This Moon phase is ruled by the Sun and the deity Naga. The Naga's are helpful serpents who support growth and wisdom through deep, inner work. They bring resources and help you overcome obstacles. Raam Navami is considered an auspicious day to start new endeavors, to make intentions known. Take an action step today towards a powerful desire, towards dharma. Use today to awaken your inner yes!

During this final day of the sacred nine day celebration of Navaratri, allow the previous days to digest and integrate. Seek closure through ritual. Let Saraswati's wisdom, creative power, and nourishment through spiritual resources, guide you.

Moon moves through Ashlesha nakshatra today, starting mid morning. This is a Mercury ruled constellation, inviting the Mental Body to intensify today. Sarpa rules this deity, inviting in wisdom and growth through mystical knowledge. Interestingly, Sarpa is the opposite of Naga. Both are serpents, yet they offer their support in very different ways. Nagas support the light, whereas Sarpa's support the darkness. Neither is all good, nor all bad, but they offer their resources in very different ways. Both support transformation and healing through serpent energy and kundalini. What is kundalini but the unification of opposites! Unite, unify and strengthen through harmony and balance! Let this intention serve you in the coming days, weeks and months as the portal of Navaratri ushers in a bountiful season ahead!

Saturday, April 16th
Moon in 10th to 11th tithi
Dashami to Ekadashi

Midmorning, Moon leaps to the powerful sign of Leo and into Magha nakshatra, the "magnificent star". The ancestors support this nakshatra and provide power and strength for those that align with them. Lineage matters for all levels of life. Honor your roots today with gratitude and ritual. Ketu and retrograde Saturn give their gaze to the Moon, providing awakenings and sudden changes, yet the need for structure and stability. Spiritual insights may come through the Physical body today. As Moon transits Leo over the next few days, She conjuncts retrograde Jupiter and Rahu, both in Purvaphalguni nakshatra currently. This is a fertile and sensual constellation that brings increased Shakti, life force with it. As the Moon illuminates this constellation, allow the Creative Intelligence of the Divine Feminine to move through you. She has been awakened through the Navaratri celebration! She is awakening you! Let Her wisdom move through you and move you. Say yes to life! What stirs your heart and makes you come alive? Do this! Dashami, or the 10th tithi, is often considered "victory day" in the Navaratri celebration. This is the day when Durga's defeat over the demon Mahishasura is honored. Let your light overtake your darkness.

Mars prepares to retrograde Sunday morning. You may notice your action steps are stalled, slowed or challenged. This is a reminder to go slow, take sacred pause and move into the receptive.

Sunday, April 17th
Moon in 11th and 12th tithi
Ekadashi to Dvadashi

Day of Sun, amplifies the effects of exalted Sun, currently in Aries, conjunct Mercury. Moon transits Purvaphalguni nakshatra, which invites in the sense of spring and vitality. The Phalguni constellations exemplify the "bees to honey" experience. It is a potent and attractive star, inviting in feminine wisdom and abundance. Venus is the ruling planet, whereas Bhaga is the deity component of this nakshatra. Both provide resources and abundance, when the channels are open to receive the nourishment. With Venus exalted in Pisces right now (and Sun exalted as well), free from conjunctions or gaze of the other planets, Her divine support can flow more fully. She can give money, love, joy, abundance, harmony, health and vitality, all resources that bring life. Are you able to receive the abundance of this day?

Mars retrogrades at 06:16 am MDT, inviting in different action steps in the coming months. Mars has been transiting Scorpio with Saturn- who is also retrograde right now. Normally, Mars would be excited to transit his own, familiar territory, however, an intruder also occupies his home. Right now this enemy (Saturn) is in his enemy’s sign and uncomfortable digging up the depths and subconscious territory of Scorpio. Add a fiery warrior to the mix and it could make for an uncomfortable few months ahead. The opposing energies of Mars and Saturn don’t bode well for smooth sailing. Saturn is a slow, methodical, hard working old man that is set in his ways. Mars is a young “whipper snapper” that acts more than he thinks, causing mischief and havoc in his path as a result. Can your old and young energies align, integrate and find a new sense of harmony? What can your old self teach your younger self and vice versa? Seek alignment as they both need each other on some fundamental level. Can you find that need and help them find peace within you?

This transit is taking unusually long due to Mars retrograding back through Scorpio now. This will spark an interesting capacity for depth and dharma. Saturn retrogrades on March 25th, strengthening his challenges and gifts. (Retrograde planets act like the nodes Rahu and Ketu who are notorious for intensification). Mars retrogrades on April 15th for 2.5 months, provoking a powerful cycle of returns. During this transit Mercury will also be retrograde for several weeks and Jupiter will still be in retrograde motion as well. From April 28th to May 9th there will be four planets in retrograde motion, six- counting the always retrograde karmic planets, Rahu and Ketu. Many returns will take place simultaneously- physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. I’ll be sharing more details about the back to back retrograde planets as we approach this cycle.

As Mars retrogrades back through Scorpio, he ends up returning to Libra on June 17th. Once he goes direct on June 30th, he must travel back through Libra once again, which will take him until July 12th when he re-enters Scorpio. As Mars moves back to Scorpio, he rejoins Saturn here, this time until September 18th. In total, Mars will march through his own sign the majority of the year. Because he must contend with Saturn as well, there is ample opportunity in the coming months to truly integrate polarities that are causing you disconnections and disassociation.

The misalignment may activate in charged, passionate and contentious ways, however, the healing that can take place within Scorpio’s territory is like no other. The nature of this sign is depth and transformation. If you are willing to lean into the hidden parts of your being and diligently dive into your subconscious and unconscious territory, you will harvest pearls undoubtedly. However, those who resist, avoid and continue to suppress their emotional body messages, will find their discomfort and challenges amplified. The soreness and pain is nothing more than a request to lean in closer, look, notice and allow the shadow to emerge. As your dark matter rises, it can find its natural way of release. Movement is the medicine. Remember that the majority of this Mars and Saturn conjunction in Scorpio, the conjunction of Jupiter and Rahu will be active as well. Your darkness is requesting more wisdom on multiple levels as a result.

Themes for this coming Mars transit strongly include unifying polarities and extremes within your being. This may be through masculine and feminine forces, authority and subordinates, shadow and light. You may identify that your force versus surrender needs more integration. Strong themes of opening and closing will emerge in forceful and dramatic ways. Be prepared to let go. Clinging will only intensify the pain. Trust this process of release as it is moving you closer to your inner truth, the purpose of your life and path.

Dharmic awakening is possible as old doors will close swiftly. Are you willing to open new doors? Reach for the knob even if you’re in the dark. Work with your power authentically and consciously. Be true to your needs and move towards your strength, but notice when you are misaligned with your empowerment. True power is the harmony of masculine and feminine forces. Can you feel this within your body? Let the spine be an integration point and notice the sensations that strengthen and support this understanding. Expand what you think is possible for yourself. What are you willing to risk, to let go of, in order to receive more nourishment, truth and power? Move towards the nourishment of balance. Can you find the simplicity in the complexity?

Ready to take your inner growth to the next level and deepen your relationship with your inner feminine wisdom?

Monday, April 18th
Moon in 13th tithi

Moon continues through Leo, but enters Uttaraphalguni around 11 am MDT. This is the latter half of the Phalguni constellation, which is ruled by Aryaman and the Sun. The ancestors provide the nourishment and support in this constellation and they do so through integrity and sustainability. They also support those actions that align with long term vision, goals and steadfast connection and relationship. Think sustainably today. What do you need to do in order for lasting strength and connection? What is working? What isn't? What needs do you have moving forward? Your power source is strong right now- and amplified today with this Sun ruled nakshatra. Say yes to your inner power and align with its strength, wisdom and right-action. Gather resources, support and guidance to strengthen your journey.

What it Takes to Know Her Intimately ~ Your Wild, Inner Feminine Wisdom + Podcast

Awaken Your True Self

I've shared over the past few weeks, the many challenges of the Eclipse Portal. How it intensified challenges and obstacles, the shadow, in order for deeper healing to take place within. Though the Eclipse Portal has closed, working with the shadow continues.

I, like many, used the eclipse portal to meet my challenges head on. Deep, oozy grief emerged within me. Rather than pushing it away and forcing myself to "keep it together", I allowed myself to get messy. If my grief has taught me anything, it's that I need to allow the mess within me to have a voice, to speak.

Through daily tapping, creative rituals, movement, rest, staying in my pajamas and laying in bed for days on end, I eventually emerged on the other side of this mess, with a new understanding of my shadow, and a deep, powerful release as well.

Attending to my shadow very consciously, allowed me to clear, move and release my shadow. I was able to transform it and in the process, create space for something more powerful to flow through me- my creativity!

As I let go of the layers of suppressed anger and sadness, I began to grieve a very old part of myself. Much to my surprise, this was my inner teenager! Her wild ways and strong ferocity had not been honored in many years. In fact, I had to dismiss her, negate her wisdom and intelligence for survival many years ago. I took vows to keep her locked away and hidden.

Suppressing her wild, creative wisdom has cost me dearly. Her Durga-like energy is in fact my True Self, so not being fully aligned with her is a loss I can't afford.

As I used my resources to transform the anger and sadness, suddenly more space was created within me. Space that allowed my creative energy to flow more dynamically. This space was created by integrating inner conflict, finding harmony between my polarities and honoring the wisdom of my wild feminine wisdom.

With my inner Durga awakening, her untamed wisdom no longer in my shadow, a new burst of energy has emerged in me. One that has allowed me to align with my dharmic work more fully, more authentically.

In fact, the clarity that emerged from this process, has allowed me to create an even more powerful course to support your healing and transformation process. Deepen and awaken your inner feminine wisdom with jyotish, embodiment and creativity! I'm so ecstatic to share this offering with you! Get the Details Here.

I'll be sharing more resources in the coming days- during the nine day Vedic Celebration of Navaratri- to support your own transformational process and help you align with your feminine wisdom. I've also posted a new tapping meditation podcast below to support you with leaning into your feminine wisdom.

As you deepen your relationship with your wild, feminine wisdom, trust your steps. The journey is not necessarily easy, or comfortable, but the results are well worth navigating the rocky terrain of your inner landscape. Pulling up old roots, in order to plant new seeds, will provide you with a rich and potent harvest.

Five steps to remember as you deepen your relationship with Her:

- Any obstacle or blockage can be overcome by increasing your creative intelligence. Where is your resistance to this life force energy? To the nourishment?

- Aligning authentically with your True Self requires the removal of any vows you have taken (consciously or unconsciously). These vows block your creative life force energy and keep you resistant to change. Many are tribal, familial, cultural or ancestral.

- Your emotions and your emotional body wisdom will show you the way. Emotional body literacy helps you identify needs and will help you find new resources for your growth. Your feelings will tell you everything!

- Receptivity, being able to receive fully, is vital for increased creative flow and nourishment. Where are you resisting the flow?

- Self care practices increase your receptivity, the ability to receive nourishment. Make sure you're attending to self care on all four levels of your being- Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual. Notice where there are holes in your Self Care practices.

Increasing Your Receptivity

Your Creative Intelligence is your wild feminine wisdom. Increase your ability to receive Shakti, life force energy, and you will increase your Creativity Intelligence naturally. What's keeping you from fully embracing all the nourishment that surrounds you? What is keeping you from receiving the abundance of Nature and Her gifts? What type of relationship do you have with your Divine Feminine wisdom?

Simply put, you have blockages in the way, keeping certain channels clogged, restricted, overburdened with toxins. When your channels of receiving are restricted, the flow can't move through you fully. These blockages may be on the physical, emotional, mental or spiritual body levels- or all four pathways. Removing the blockages from all four levels of your being, is essential for maximum life force energy to be received.

Navigating your inner terrain very consciously is essential for identifying these obstacles and blockages. As you identify these blockages, you can then strategically use this information to make deep, inner change. Removing blockages that hinder your life force energy is essential for more life force energy and more flow.

Increased creative flow, more life force energy, will increase your ability to receive money, health, vitality, love, relationships, comforts, ideas, artistry and inner harmony. Both Moon and Venus symbolize these factors in your jyotish chart. Their placements in your natal chart will show you where there is restriction. The effects the other planets have on your Venus and Moon will either support or hinder this flow. The other planets in your chart will also show you what channels are open and which ones are blocked. This is why jyotish is such a powerful resource for healing and transformation.

The trick to changing and transforming the blockages is working with your full range of being, your entire inner landscape- not just the parts that you like, or feel good. Leaning into what is not working, the obstacles and challenges, can be the most effective way to clear your pathways for increased flow. Challenges and blockages are the mirror you need to identify what needs to change.

Integration is Essential for More Flow

This divine Shakti flow is essential in order to deepen your relationship with creativity. Creativity brings more ideas, more imagination, more money, more health and vitality, more passion, more pleasure. More of the good stuff! If you want more of the good stuff, you have to clear the blockages keeping you from receiving more.

It may seem obvious, but if you can't receive this creative nourishment, you won't be able to increase this in your life. The Divine Feminine wisdom within is your receptive energy. She is your ability to be in receiving and feel the juicy, goodness of your life. This requires that you are in harmony with your feminine energy (expansion, opening, fluidity) and your masculine energy (containment, restriction, the known). Most people (men and women) have never learned how to use masculine and feminine energy in a way that promotes balance, inner harmony and vitality- rather than depletion and chaos.

When the masculine and feminine polarities are at odds with each other, this conflict will increase fear, resistance, deep inner challenge, turmoil, overwhelm, self-sabotage behaviors and intensified shadow to emerge. This inner conflict is at the root of all major dis-ease. These inner conflicts will often manifest externally as a way to help you identify the imbalances. What relationships are you in conflict with? So many of these imbalances within the masculine and feminine energies are expressed by the conflicts in the world.

How do you know if your masculine and feminine energies are in conflict? Notice the parts of your self that are saying yes, when the rest of you is saying no. Some parts may be saying no, while other parts are saying yes. Remember that outer conflicts are just bright, flashing mirrors that are being held up for you to look more closely so you can identify your own inner conflicts. Who and what are you in conflict with? This battle is at play within you as well. Can you tell?

Integrating polarities, healing the conflicts and finding harmony between your opposing forces is the fast track to deeper receptivity and receiving more nourishment in life. When inner polarities align, all the energy that was being used to stay in battle, is suddenly freed up. This energy can then be used in life supporting ways. Your energy will naturally start moving in a direction that supports greater nourishment and harmony.

Learning how to integrate polarities and deepen your receptivity is a powerful resource for awakening your full potential. Your feminine wisdom is vital for increasing more nourishment in your life. She will show you the way and help you navigate the uncharted territory of your inner terrain.

I'm so passionate about supporting women in this process of inner integration! So many women are not using their divine inner wisdom in the most potent and powerful ways. They stay in lack, without stepping into their brilliance fully. What a shame when you've come all this way, arrived in a female human body, in order to learn how to be more receptive!

My work is here to support your growth and inner wisdom. To help you deepen your feminine gifts and inherent creative intelligence. So that you can feel more nourished and vital in your life.

Deepen Your Receptivity ~ Tapping Meditation

Use this Tapping Meditation to increase creative flow and inner harmony. Remember that we always start with "truth tapping" by expressing feelings and experiences that feel challenging. This is a vital part of the process and paves the way for transformation and healing.

In the podcast below, I share a tapping (EFT) sequence with you that will guide you through transforming and releasing the old stories and invite in more receptivity. Remember, we start with identifying the challenges, then moving into possibility and desires in order to transform our shadow into light.

Use this podcast as you tap through these points:

Karate chop point (side of the hand).
Crown of the head.
Eyebrow point (above the eye).
Side of the eye.
Under the eye.
Under the nose.
Chin point (crease of the chin).
Throat point (collar bone/throat chakra).
Heart point (center of chest).
Stomach point (above the navel).
Side body (nipple line at side of chest).

Tap six to ten times on each point and just keep cycling through the points. Repeat the phrases I use aloud. Notice any thoughts, stories, memories or emotions that emerge as you tap. These are important pieces to return to, do more tapping on, as a way to clear blockages. As always, if the words I use don't work for you, change them to support your process more fully.

Share your experiences below! What emerged for you in this process? Excited to hear from you!

Align With Your Inner Goddess During Navaratri.

Align With Durga and Her Powerful Energy of Change and Transformation During Navaratri.

Navaratri is a poignant time in the Vedic Calendar. This ancient calendar is one that is dedicated to Nature and her cycles and rhythms, the planets, and most importantly the Moon. In the Vedic Calendar, time is connected to what Nature and the cosmos are doing, and these elements are intimately related. The main Navaratri celebrations occur twice a year- in the "gap" seasons of spring and fall. These times are considered sandhi times; delicate times that feel like you are neither here, nor there. We might call it the netherworld. This time, though delicate, is considered sacred.

In the spring, Navaratri marks the "waking up" of the devis or the goddesses, of Shakti; the aspects of Natural Law that enliven growth, abundance, prosperity, learning, well being, change and transformation. In the fall, Navaratri invites in destruction, removal, change, transformation and healing. The goddesses Durga, Saraswati and Lakshmi symbolize these parts of life and Nature, while also being parts of our own innate being. The three of them together represent our wholeness, the trinity of life, alive in and around us. These three goddesses also connect to Shakti, the goddess who gives the spark of life to every being, to Nature, and to existence.

Fall Navaratri, or Maha Navaratri, is by far the most potent as it brings deep transformation and the ability to remove, destroy, release and transform, our darkness into light. The holy trinity of goddesses supports this process and allows us to let go of what needs to be released in order for greater nourishment. As we let go of our darkness, an increase of light and wisdom can take its place. This process is marked by Durga's powerful battle against the demon Mahishasura. On the 10th day, she destroyed him and was victorious. This day is called Vijaya Dashami (Dashami is the 10th lunar day of the Moon cycle, connected to dharma).

Vasant Navaratri, or spring Navaratri, begins with the new Moon this year, on Thursday April 7th at 04:24 am PDT. Sun and Moon are in Revati nakshatra, the final star of the zodiac, signifying endings and beginnings. This is the mark of the Vedic Lunar New Year and the beginning of the sacred nine day celebration of Navaratri as well. Durga is enlivened at this time! The battle between good over evil intensifies in the coming days as Durga battles the demon Mahishasura. This battle takes place within every human being.

The conflict between light and dark forces, polarities, is expressed through this sacred and timeless battle. It also mirrors the conflicts stirred between the masculine and feminine energies within. This battle is a wake up call, a clearing of old, stagnant beliefs, patterns and behaviors. Pay close attention during this sacred nine day celebration as inner and outer conflicts intensify. What does this conflict share with you about your polarities? What mirrors are being held up in order for you to make lasting change and transformation?

Nava means nine in Sanskrit while Ratri means nights. This is a nine day celebration that is divided into three parts. The first three days are dedicated to the goddess Durga. Her warrior spirit cleanses, shifts, uproots, changes and transforms. Think of her as tilling the soil, prior to planting seeds. The next three days of celebration are dedicated to Lakshmi. Her abundance, nurturing, and wealth offer nourishment and support to us on all levels of life. Health is the ultimate wealth and Lakshmi brings this support as well. Finally, we have three days dedicated to goddess Saraswati. She gives us knowledge, understanding, wisdom, creativity and artistry. She is the rasayana (or healing balm) if you will to close this sacred nine day celebration. Together, these three goddesses bring wholeness, renewal, and the life giving offerings of Shakti. This creative life-force energy is truly what inspires life, living and abundance. She is your Creative Intelligence.

It is at this time that we can connect to these three goddesses most easily- inside of us, and around us. Because of this, Navaratri is considered a very sacred and powerful time of year- one that influences our inner and outer experience of life for months to come. To connect with the goddesses more closely, make special offerings on your altar to them during the nine days. You can also dedicate your actions and intentions to them for greater communication. Use this time for self development practices and sacred pause. Slow down and notice what is stirring within you and around you.

Connecting to fire and stoking the internal flame (or agni) can be valuable for the first three days of Durga. You may wish to write intentions that focus on empowerment and action steps for the coming months as well. Using self development tools to transform negative thoughts and mental body stories, will be well supported at this time. During the three days of Lakshmi, bring sweets and flowers to your altar, cook nourishing foods for your Self, decorate and adorn your Self. This is a time to focus on self care diligently. For the final portion of Navaratri, dedicated to Saraswati, music, art and poetry can be a good way to focus your energy, efforts and intentions. Use creativity, artistry and embodiment resources for grounding and landing in your intentions. Use my Creative Rituals for support with this process.

During this sacred and potent time, treat your Self like the goddess that you are and share your abundance with others. May we each remember our abundant true nature, our immense creative life giving energy and the power of the Divine Feminine for healing and transformation!

New Moon in Revati shares the support of Pushan with those who accept and receive his soft and gentle guidance. Pushan translates as "the nourisher" and through his resources, will help you flourish, prosper and grow. He requests gentle, subtle and thoughtful steps and honors inner sensitivity. As both Sun and Moon transit Revati, a sense of endings- for both masculine and feminine energy- is stirred. The soli/lunar energies within are seeking closure and completion. As doors close, trust the opening of new doors to follow. What are you saying yes to? What are you saying no to? Be conscious of your actions and choices. These karmas determine the fruits you will receive in the new cycle.

If you've been following along with me in the past days and weeks, I've been sharing resources to support the alignment and integration of inner polarities. Through deepening the wisdom of the Divine Feminine, you can heal and transform the inner battles between opposing energies and find more harmony within. Use my tapping meditation for deepening your relationship with the Divine Feminine.

If you're ready to step into your Divine Feminine wisdom more potently while healing and integrating inner challenges, please join me for my new course just for women. This new Jyotish Astrology course for Transformation and Healing is starting soon. Get the Details and Sign Up.

Not only does the April new Moon coincides with the start of Navaratri, but the Vedic Lunar New Year as well. As Sun and Moon move through the final nakshatra of the zodiac, this sparks release and letting go, while ushering in openings and beginnings simultaneously. This will effect emotional body release, allowing creativity and fluidity to increase in life supporting ways if the channels can be cleared effectively. Use this sacred time to diligently clear, purge and release through the mental and emotional bodies. Patterns, behaviors and choices that no longer serve you must be let go of in order to create space for the new.

The cycle ahead promotes integration of opposing forces, inner conflicts and polarities. Duality is the absence of harmony, integration and union. Where are these polarities effecting your strength, courage and power? Notice how the inner conflicts are are keeping you stuck, frozen, overwhelmed and using your vital life force energy in ways that keep you in struggle, lack and fear. Identify these inner battles and use resources and support to help you integrate and align your opposing forces.

Understand that these inner conflicts will manifest externally as a way to intensify the mirror within. Any challenges with relationships, or the "other", are just a reminder to look more deeply within. Where are these outer difficulties a resource to identify your inner struggles? Polarities, including masculine and feminine dynamics, will be at strong odds in the cycle ahead. It's vital to address these places within head on.

Use my New Moon Navaratri class below for extra support and guidance with this process.

Step into your warrior spirit, your wild divine feminine wisdom, and allow her power to move through you. She is the receptive and can help you hear what you need to do- or not do- in order to find inner harmony. Where are these inner conflicts keeping you from receiving more nourishment, support, guidance and wisdom? Give your self space to pause and listen. To receive the abundance that surrounds you. Move too quickly, force or rush to achieve and gain or experience an outcome, and this will disconnect you from your potency and inner knowing, from Her divine wisdom and support. Go slow and allow the sacred to move through you and transform you.

As you attend to and unravel your inner feminine intelligence in the coming days, you are preparing for harmonizing and aligning with your masculine energies in a more balanced way. Attend to Her needs and Her wisdom first, then the structuring support of the masculine can attend to Her in a more integrated and harmonious way. The Vedic New Year officially begins on the 13th of April, as the Navaratri celebration comes to a close. Sun moving to the first sign of the zodiac, its sign of exaltation, Aries, marks the beginning of the solar renewal within. Immense power and potency is available at this time. Take the necessary steps for maximizing this strength. What does She need from you? How can you listen to Her needs and her wisdom more carefully?

If you are ready to step more powerfully into your sacred feminine wisdom, to heal conflicts between your masculine and feminine energies, as well as polarities within, please join me for my Spring/Summer 2016 Jyotish Astrology Classes ~ for Transformation and Healing.

This process is open to only 25 women who are ready to step into a deeper level of Self Mastery.

Who is She? Knowing Your Inner Goddess + Podcast

3/30/2016

Picture

Who is She?

She is wild, untamed and unpredictable.

She is your divine, feminine wisdom.

Your emotional body. Your intuitive guidance and creative intelligence.

She is your inner Moon.

She rules receptivity and She will determine your feelings of nourishment in life.

Know Her and know your divinity. Understand Her wisdom and become the magic of life!

But how do you know if you're in right-relationship with Her? With your Divine Feminine Self?

The truth is, most humans are in some state of conflict with various parts of themselves, especially their inner feminine wisdom.

Here are some signs you might be in conflict with Her:

- Confusion about choices, answers or solutions.

- In a state of chaos or overwhelm.

- Over stimulation or over activity causing heightened stress in the four bodies.

- Excess emotion, extreme emotional sensitivity.

- Living in black and white with no space for the unknown.

- Taking in too much, overly receptive- resulting in depletion of one or more of your bodies.

- Challenges and obstacles with all things Venus and Moon (Money, food, comforts, relationships, creativity, flow, emotions, health, vitality, female organs).

- Lack of ideas, creative activation, not feeling excited or passionate about life.

- Little to no intuitive awareness or wisdom.

- Problems with your mother, female figures or female relationships.

- Resistance to pleasure, joy, abundance, flow, creative intelligence.

If you answered yes to one or more of these signs, you are likely in conflict with your inner feminine wisdom- on some level of your being.

Often these vows are taken at a very young age. Later on in life, the suppression of your divine feminine wisdom will result in systemic issues on some level of your being.

This is not unusual since the Western-centric culture is predominantly rooted in the masculine energy of product instead of process, external focus rather than internal focus.

The feminine is more responsive, receptive and therefore in tune with process, flow and surrender.

In truth, we need balance between both the masculine and feminine energy within, but so often there is a conflict keeping us from experiencing this inner harmony.

When the issues with your feminine wisdom come to the surface of your awareness, when they become conscious, they can be identified and confronted. This usually arrives as some challenge, obstacle or conflict within you- or with another person.

Are you experiencing an inner conflict?

Part of you desires surrender, but the rest of you is terrified of letting go.

You tell yourself you should slow down and listen, but you keep pushing past the signals anyway. Maybe you don't hear the signals at all.

Often there's a terror about "losing control" or being in the unknown, the grey territory of life.

You are afraid of vulnerability and see the receptive, the feminine, as weak.

Resistance to change or receiving support.

This conflict with your feminine wisdom is keeping you from feeling deeper nourishment and harmony within you and your life.

The truth is, it's a very old story.

If you're ready to re-write this story, reclaim your divine feminine wisdom, follow along with me in the coming days.

I will be sharing some potent resources to help you connect with your Divine Feminine wisdom, your inner goddess.

Join me for a *free* New Moon + Navaratri class this Sunday. Deepen your relationship with your inner goddess and release the past cycle more fully.

Goddess Integration Tapping Meditation

To support your inner growth and integration process, I've created a tapping meditation for you. This particular process will support the current transits as well as the harmonizing of masculine and feminine energies within you. Use it as a resource for stepping into your healing and transformation process.

* One of my favorite things to do is hike in the woods. Often I tap and walk. This is a recording I made on one such hike. It was windy and snowy, so you'll here the elements along the way!
