The September New Moon occurs with five planets colliding in Virgo- Sun, Moon, Mars, Venus and Mercury. On the 28th at 12:27 PM MT, the Moon empties completely in the constellation of Hasta. Mercury is exalted in Virgo, while Venus is debilitated. Sun and Mars heat up this combination of planets, scorching the mental, emotional and physical bodies. This is an important time to honor the sensitivity and delicate life force within. Pause, slow down and listen to the wisdom arriving within you and around you. This new Moon offers stillness and sacred pause as Nature transforms and awakens. The Divine Feminine is strengthening, ushering in the sacred nine day celebration of Navaratri- which begins just after the new Moon occurs. The emptiness of this new Moon will be palpable, opening a sacred gap that will support deep inner transformation. Read More About the Sacred Nine Days of Navaratri. Hasta nakshatra is ruled by Savitr, the god of dawn. The sacred slice of light that emerges everyday, signaling the return of the light, is his domain. This is a sandhi time, or gap, that is particularly potent for awakening. Transformation, transition, and inner awareness are supported with this constellation. Hasta and Savitr support the returning of the light, a powerful reminder of light overtaking darkness. This is a natural part of nature, her cycles and rhythms. Every day she reminds us that the light returns, the Sun rises, our life force enlivens. This is a profound Law of Nature. This new Moon signals the dawn, yet there is a fragility and vulnerability that comes with it. Powerful light is present, while sensitivity is also at an all time high. Use this sacred, natural gap to pause and listen to your body and its wisdom. Honor the immense silence occurring in Nature and align with the strengthening potency of the Divine Feminine. Meditate, use ritual, body care, easy to digest foods, and the Gayatri Mantra to honor your pause. As the Moon shifts into the first tithi of the waxing Moon cycle, the sacred nine day and night celebration of Maha Navaratri begins. Nava means nine and ratri means night in Sanskrit. Each day and night of this powerful junction point, correlates to the epic battle between the goddess Sri Devi Mahatmyam and the demon Mahishasura. Maha Devi Mahatmyam is connected to both Durga and Shakti, powerful forms of divine feminine energy that awaken, clear, transform and heal. Sri Devi is understood to be the supreme creation power of the universe, the Tridevi, or triple goddess, as she expresses the creation, sustaining and destructive energies that perpetuate all forms of life. In the sacred text known as the Sri Devi Mahatmyam, composed between 400 and 600 CE, the many forms of the goddess are expressed. "She is presented, through a language of praise, as the one who dwells in all creatures, as the soul, as the power to know, the power to will and the power to act. She is consciousness of all living beings, she is intelligence, she is matter, and she is all that is form or emotion." - Via Wikipedia During the nine day and night Navaratri celebration, the battle between light and dark forces enlivens, ending on the 10th day with Victory Day, Vijaya Dashami. This battle between light and dark, good and bad, masculine and feminine, transformation and healing, is taking place within all beings at this sacred junction point. It is a time to heal and integrate polarities within. This is an incredibly potent time for awakening dharma in our lives. Use the coming days to go within, slow down, and listen. Your inner wisdom and dharmic gifts will be strengthening. Listen closely. Clarity, focus and alignment can be easily accessed during the sacred celebration of Navarati. Transformation is taking place on all levels of Nature. Be present to the release, the emptiness, the creativity, that is arriving. What needs to be released and transformed on your path? How can you create more space and silence in your life? What is your body wisdom telling you about your needs? What is the wisdom of your passion and creativity sharing with you? Join the Sacred Navaratri container for daily wisdom, rituals, dharmic resources and tools- so that you can strengthen and deepen your dharmic path, souls purpose, and inner wisdom. Our Sacred Navaratri Container Opens on Sunday, September 29th! Doors Are Closing!! This is your last chance to join us live for this sacred 10 day celebration. JOIN THE 2019 DHARMA SUMMIT NOW Creative Ritual "Everything comes to us that belongs to us, if we create the capacity to receive it." ~ Rabindranath Tagore This Creative Ritual will also help you work directly with your challenges- emotion or otherwise. Take your challenge into your creative process and see what develops! Step #1 Movement Exploration. What emotion are you feeling? Is it anger, depression, frustration, chaos, uncertainty? Start dancing this emotion. What does it feel like in your body? Do the "dance of anger" for example. What emerges as you do your anger dance?! Remember to let sounds out! Move and develop your dance for at least minutes. When you feel a sense of closure, ask yourself these questions: I sense, I feel, I imagine. Step #2 Create an image of your emotion. What does it feel like? Put it on paper using colors, textures and shapes. Create an image that expresses your experience with this emotion and whatever emerged in your dance. Spend at least 5 to 20 minutes creating this image. I suggest using paints or craypas and a large piece of paper. Title your image. In your journal or on the back of the drawing answer this question: If your image could speak what would it say? Step #3 Harvesting. Answer these baseline statements and questions in your journal once you have completed the previous steps. I am___ I want___ I need___ What am I opening to? What am I closing to? Recycle this process whenever strong emotions emerge. Remember they arrive to give you important messages. Listen carefully and honor them with deeper listening. What is the emotions telling you? What do you need for deeper nourishment in your life? 2019 Soul Awakening Dharma Summit

As Friday September 13th comes to a close, the Full Moon arrives in Sidereal Aquarius and Purva Bhadrapada nakshatra at 22:32 MT. This is a constellation that requires balance between opposing forces and duality. There may be a need to straddle two realms in the coming cycle, an invitation to transition between spiritual and material worlds. The timing is interesting for this Aquarius full Moon as we move closer to the sacred gap, or sandhi time, that occurs in the Vedic Calendar with Maha Navaratri. Read More About Navaratri This is a transition point where Nature and the Divine Feminine are particularly potent and alive. Purva Bhadrapada requires holding extremes, opposites, opposing forces. This constellation is ruled by Ajai Ekapada, who is another name for dancing Lord Shiva, Lord of the Dance. He moves with one foot firmly rooted into the earth, while lifting the other leg- poised and ready, open to possibility. In this way, this constellation supports the dynamics of duality, yet wholeness. Aquarius also has dual rulers- Saturn and Rahu. This is a dynamic sign that is complex and intriguing. Worldly, yet inward and reclusive. Grand and expansive, yet simple and grounded. Old and wise, yet innovative and new age. It's hard to pin point an Aquarius. Use the innovation and entrepreneurialism of this full Moon to create and innovate. Think outside the box and step boldly into the unknown. You don't have to have all the answers yet. All you need is the courage and effort required to forge a new path for your self. If you aren't willing to try something new, you will not get the fruits of growth and expansion. Remember, without your consistent effort and action steps, you won't get very far. Your dreams require that you show up for them- everyday. What are you creating and imagining for yourself and your life? What steps are moving you closer to your dreams and desires? What steps are moving you further away? Get focused, clear and intentional with your actions and energy. As Rahu continues to transit Gemini, he moves to the powerful Nakshatra of Ardra as of September 11th. Rahu in Ardra: September 11th, 2019 to May 20th, 2020 When Rahu moves to Ardra nakshatra, storm god, Rudra, takes center stage. His powerful energy increases exponentially with the magnification of Rahu. Big waves are likely- physically, materially and within Nature. Sudden, unpredictable surges of power will occur. Be very mindful how you use this big energy or the storms will swallow you up. This is a time period to be very diligent with staying grounded. Stay on top of the mind and don't let the imaginal realms pull you off path. Strengthen your roots so the storms don't destabilize you. Emotions will be strong, overpowering and challenging at times. Are you in right relationship with your emotional body waves, or are you getting lost in the depths of the ocean? Be careful with yourself and others. Challenging people may surface just to test your strength. Diligence with your shadow work is non-negotiable right now. Take responsibility for your own triggers and feelings. Gather even more resources and support to help you navigate the choppy waters. Read More About Rahu in Gemini Creative RitualCreating Your Dharma. Get out your drawing pad and craypas. Create an image of your dharma, fully realized and activated. Maybe this feels impossible, but try anyway. If you feel stuck, pick a color and just start running it across your paper. Notice carefully what begins to emerge within you. What colors, images, textures and shapes express your dharma? Let that gentle sensation that arrived from reading your passion list carry you through this activity. Keep returning to the list, adding to it if you need to, and creating an image that expresses the feelings you receive from looking at your passion list. Get into this and let yourself play, fully arriving into the reality of joy and passion. Let this image serve as your reminder, your dharmic map. Hang it up on your wall and let it inspire your action steps. Be sure to title your image. Once your image is complete, let it answer this question: If your image could speak to you, what would it say? Take 20-30 minutes for this unless you feel like extra time would serve you. Take it to the next Level. Here's Step Two. 2019 Soul Awakening Dharma Summit
It's Time to Transform and Awaken Your Souls Purpose. Maha Navaratri occurs from September 29th to October 8th this year. Daily Wisdom Sessions with powerful Dharmic Leaders. Empowering resources and rituals for the Divine Feminine. Support and guidance for your dharmic path. Tools to activate your souls purpose. GET THE DETAILS There was no way I could have predicted exactly how the last seven years of my Ketu Maha Dasha would impact me. During this seven year cycle, I've also been navigating my second Sade Sati. When I look back over this period of time now, I don't even feel like the same person. It feels like a life time ago. Ketu Maha dasha and Sade Sati have been nothing short of a transition point for me, a major, life-altering pivot. One that I endured kicking and screaming for the most part. I don't share my story to scare anyone, but being honest about our life experiences is vital for making the most out of any cycle we move through. This is also the brilliance of Jyotish- a map of sorts to help us see- even if we don't want to see it. I've spent my entire life so far in very challenging dasha cycles. Born into nineteen years of grief thanks to Saturn Maha Dasha. During that time my birth father died tragically- which set me up for a life time of unpacking grief I couldn't possibly understand at one year of age. Then onto 17 years of Mercury- which essentially became a spiritual cycle, but only after intense darkness, addiction, turmoil and self hatred that almost killed me. The darkness that emerged through this process was the catalyst for deeper self healing and it helped me gather more tools for my growth process. Days into my seven year Ketu Maha dasha, my mother called me to share that she had been diagnosed with a brain tumor. The shocking ways of Ketu were already well under way. He takes no prisoners and forces change in dramatic, life altering ways. You can not prepare for Ketu. To say that "timing is everything" would be an understatement. Ketu would take my mother from me three weeks later- only days after Maha Navaratri 2012, during a powerful full Moon. My life would never be the same. To this day, I am still sifting and sorting through the rubble, fumbling my way through the grief process that came from this heart rupture. I learned very quickly how Ketu operates. His agenda is to take our attachments- with or without willingness. The stronger the attachment, the greater the pain, trauma, loss. What I didn't realize at the time is just how much grief I would be moving through. Undigested, overwhelming, endless grief. Grief from the first half of my life. Grief from my previous life times. Grief from my mother. Grief from my father. Grief from my family members still alive. Grief from society, the land, the ancestors. So many layers of grief. Ketu brought the movement, the clearing, the space. He has brought my grief to the surface, helped it move and release, while supporting something new to emerge. Not what I wanted exactly, nor what I had envisioned, but space is what he's gifted me with. Plenty of space. In the days, months and years after my mom's passing, I had no ground. I lost my grounding cord, my root chakra (what I had thought was my root anyway). While my connection to Spirit strengthened, my connection to body was completely dismantled and destroyed. I had nothing material to support me. I realized that Mercury Maha Dasha had left me with some spiritual resources but nothing much material. I had no job, no friends, no purpose, very little family, no hope for the future, no partner or children. I only had my two dogs, was living in Texas, in an environment that didn't support me, with no community. So I started building. Out of desperation, out of lack, out of emptiness. Brick by brick. Need by need. This is what Ketu supports. A rebuilding, a starting over. From bed, in my pajamas, in between sobbing and sleep, I started to build my business online. I wrote blog posts, I did jyotish sessions, I shared my thoughts on grief. Not as an expert or someone with all the answers. I shared what was real for me, what I was personally experiencing. (This is now what I call your authentic Dharmic offering). I noticed the clients who were coming to me all had challenges with grief, loss, pain of some sort. It was manifesting in their body and I could see the reason for this in their jyotish chart. I started to feel a sense of purpose. Something that helped me move beyond my own grief. When I helped someone else with insights for their healing path, suddenly life didn't seem quite so dire. One foot in front of the other, one day at a time, I strengthened my dharmic path, grew my dharmic business, created an offering for this world that filled my heart with joy, passion, nourishment. Despite the swiftness of Ketu in certain areas of my life, the building and growth of my dharmic path has been slow and incremental. For nearly a decade now, I have shared my wisdom authentically. There have been no shortages of insights thanks to Ketu. No shortage of clarity and painful realizations. The nature of Ketu can peel back layers of illusion instantaneously- which is normally not very comfortable. I've used these insights courageously and thankfully Ketu has gifted me as a result. This week is another major life pivot for me. My 20 year Venus Maha Dasha begins. Part of me is excited and ready to leave Ketu. The rest of me is a bit apprehensive to make the shift based on Ketu's traumatic start. We feel these dasha shifts months in advance and some of the insights I've already experienced are directly related to Venus. After all of the clearing, all of the space, all of the letting go, I have room to invite in the blessings and nourishment of Venus. This is the growth phase of my life that has not yet been supported by my previous dashas. Through these tumultuous seven years of Ketu, life has gone through many forms, shapes and cycles. There's been immense loss and letting go. Now at the end of this life changing dasha cycle, I have created a life that truly nourishes me. I didn't think I'd end up in the mountains of Colorado surrounded by nature and animals. I couldn't have imagined that I would have two dogs, a cat and a horse, nor the cottage of my dreams with an aspen grove in the backyard. I couldn't have imagined the amazing clients I work with daily- helping sensitive gifted women awaken their own dharmic dreams and create success in their own lives. I couldn't have imagined the grounding in my body, the strengthening roots and branches that have grown as a result of planting in the mountains. After all the clearing, Ketu has gifted me with the nourishment I've been seeking all my life. It takes loss, in order to make space for the new. With Venus Maha Dasha arriving, there is a desire for more expansion, growth, connection these days. Part of this is due to Venus Maha Dasha, and part of it is because I used the last seven years to clear and release the grief that has been keeping me stuck. It feels timely to create an offering for my mother, for the Divine Mothers, for celebrating the path of Dharma. As a way to mark this powerful transition point in my own life, I've created a Navaratri Dharma Summit. My work is dharmic, for dharma, for spiritual evolution. Navaratri has been a meaningful celebration all my life. My mother's passing on Maha Navaratri created an even stronger connection to Navaratri for me. The Divine Feminine is in powerful transformation at this time of year, supporting our deep inner change. If we use this time with intention, Nature supports immense transformation, change and growth within us. I am honored to create a powerful Navaratri offering that will support so many women on their dharmic paths. In the memory and legacy of my mother, The Dharma Summit is a powerful offering that has the potential to be a catalyst for women around the world. Mark this immense life changing moment in time with the wisdom of Navaratri. I invite you to celebrate with me- as I shift into the next phase of my dharmic work. After seven years of Ketu, I'm ready to welcome the power of Venus. It's time for me to celebrate! We are starting soon! Some amazing dharmic leaders will be joining me! Looking forward to ushering in the fullness and wisdom of the Divine Feminine with you! JOIN THE 2019 DHARMA SUMMIT My deep gratitude to those of you who are walking with me. Some of you have been walking with me since the beginning- when I was just starting my dharmic business. To you I say a special thank you for continuing to grow with me! And of course, I will continue to share the gifts and wisdom of Venus with you in the coming years. Grateful to be walking with you and looking forward to sharing Maha Navaratri with you this year. As a result, I often hear clients confused, frustrated, uncertain and fearful that their path is not unfolding properly. They doubt that they have found their dharmic path, which can often derail them from ever moving forward. Do you ever have doubts? Do you doubt your gifts and wisdom? Do you doubt if you are on path, or off path? Do you doubt if the challenges you are facing are keeping you stuck and disconnected? Do you doubt if you're making progress? It's important to realize that your dharmic path has many phases, steps and transformational experiences along the way. This is a life long process. You only have one soul purpose. Each phase of the journey is supporting the path as a whole. Each part of the journey is unique. If you know how to use each phase of the growth process, it can keep you connected to your path for the long term- and trust your steps. Without the ability to trust your path, your gifts and wisdom, you can get lost in adharma- that which goes against dharma. Consciously choosing to connect with your path and purpose is key. This takes commitment and a willingness to show up- even when its hard. What phase of your dharmic path are you in right now? What phases of this journey have you already completed? The Durga Phase of the Dharmic Path: 1) Challenge. This phase of the journey is often wrought with crisis, turmoil, grief, or hardship of some sort. When you are in a challenge portion of the process, it can be a powerful catalyst for major life change and growth. It can also keep you stuck for days, weeks, years, or lifetimes. Are you addicted to the turmoil and chaos? Or do you know how to use challenge as a life-changing catalyst? Every challenge has a gift. You must learn how to use challenge as a change agent- so that it becomes a resource for powerful growth. 2) Release. There is no possibility for gain without letting go of something. Release, loss, death are all necessary and vital parts of the transformation and healing process. When we let go of something, we are creating space. Space for something new. If you are not willing to let go and experience loss, you will never have the space to receive what you truly need and desire. One of the most powerful parts of the dharmic path is learning how to grieve and be in right relationship with your emotional body. 3) Resistance. Most people are afraid of powerful life change- even if it means life will be better than they can imagine. Fear keeps you resistant to moving forward, creating something new, manifesting your needs, allowing the nourishment to flow. Fear and resistance are one and the same. When you are not in right relationship with your fear, it will create resistance to moving forward, resistance to clarity, resistance to awakening your gifts and wisdom. One of the biggest forms of resistance I encounter with clients is a fear of success, a resistance to actually creating what they truly want in their lives. Resistance and fear can keep you stuck your entire life- unless you are willing to face it directly and awaken its gifts. Lakshmi Phase of the Dharmic Path: 4) Growth. Sometimes you allow the growth to take place, sometimes the growth is forced upon you. Either way, growth is asking you to move in a different direction, to expand. I often tell clients to move in the direction of their nourishment. Whatever nourishes you will be life supporting. True dharma creates deep nourishment on all levels of life. Are you moving towards your nourishment or away from it? Growth and change go hand in hand. Don't resist your own growth. 5) Desire. All growth comes from some desire- conscious or unconscious. Your desires are powerful- and the key to manifestation. Desire is what brought you into human form and desire is what supports your evolution. Without desire there is no growth, change, transformation- or even healing. Let your desires be the spark that supports the life changing results you truly want. Make sure your action steps align with your desires. Desire is a good thing! 6) Abundance. When you are able to receive the nourishment that life has to offer, you will feel abundant. Receiving is key to feeling the abundance of Nature whether it's more vitality, money, love, nourishment, creativity or any of the other blessings of Lakshmi. Are you in right relationship with receiving? Does your body feel safe to receive the nourishment of life? Receiving can not be forced. Life sustaining nourishment comes when the body feels safe to receive. Always work on creating safety within- so that the body can naturally begin to receive the nourishment it truly needs. What helps you feel safe? Saraswati Phase of the Dharmic Path: 7) Creativity. Ideas, imagination, and creativity are powerful forces of transformation and change. This entire existence was, and is, a result of creative life force energy. What are you creating in your life? Consciously direct your creative powers. Your immense human imagination is capable of creating whatever you desire. How are you using your creative powers? In order for your life path to unfold, you must be willing to honor your creativity, imagination and ideas with consistent action steps. Manifestation skills are directly connected to creativity and innovation. 8) Learning. The dharmic path requires a willingness to expand, learn, and grow. You must be willing to gather new insights, wisdom, tools and support along the way. Are you seeking out guidance for your path? Or are you trying to do it all alone? Acquiring wisdom and guidance for the journey is nonnegotiable, but you also must know when and how to trust yourself and your own inner wisdom. This requires balance with inner and outer seeking. What have you learned on your journey so far? Do you trust your inner wisdom, or are you still seeking all your answers outside of yourself? Dharma requires deep self trust and the ability to listen to your inner wisdom. 9) Connection. Dharma is not a lonely journey, meant to be done in isolation and no contact with others. You are a householder- meaning that your dharmic path includes others in some capacity. True dharma is reciprocal. When you share your gifts and wisdom with others, they benefit as well as you. Connection, co-creation, expansion, and relationship are vital for the path of dharma to fully blossom and unfold. When you are willing to share your light with others, the whole world becomes enlightened. You must be willing to touch lives in meaningful ways or your dharmic path will not unfold and grow- and neither will you! Connection supports your ability to awaken through learning and wisdom. All parts of the dharmic path are important. You will move in and out of these phases in a non-linear way. You will circle back and through these steps over and over again along your life path. You may touch parts of this phase continuously throughout your journey, and revisit each phase more than once. The important thing is that you must keep moving on not get stuck. Honor where you find yourself on the path right now, but continue to grow, change and transform. This requires seeking out guidance and support from those that understand the dharmic path- while also deepening your self trust and your own ability to hear your inner wisdom. Dharma requires skill in action, strengthening your gifts and wisdom- and sharing it with others so the whole world benefits. Where do you find yourself in this process? What needs are surfacing? What is feeling nourishing and supportive? Where are you stuck or stagnant? Don't forget to ask for help and be willing to try something new.
