The December New Moon arrives on Wednesday, the 28th at 23:54 MST, just after Venus shifts to Aquarius. Mars has barely moved to the other side of Ketu at this time, narrowly breaking the many months of upheaval caused by the Kala Sarpa yoga effects. Sun has also just moved out of the chaotic and challenging lunar constellation, Mula, and into the watery PurvaAshada nakshatra. Hasta nakshatra is on the Eastern horizon at the exact time of the new Moon, encouraging a dawning through all of these transformations and changes. Indeed, there may be a feeling of fresh starts and a renewed hope and optimism. Endings, release and purging the past are part of this new Moon. Channel these feelings into supportive actions and new beginnings. Moon is in Purvashada nakshatra and Sagittarius at the time of the new Moon. This constellation is ruled by Apas, the water goddess, and is considered fierce- supporting harsh actions, choices and decisions. Venus rules this portion of the sky, which aligns with relationships, creativity, the feminine and life force energy. Since Apas is the ruling deity, the inner waters, health and vitality are a powerful part of this star's expression. Movement arrives, through flowing, fluidity and waves. This can be gentle or severe. What is your relationship with your inner waters? With the water ways of life? Symbolized by the tusk of an elephant, there is a connection with overcoming obstacles within this constellation, while finding triumph- as with the support of Lord Ganesha, the remover of great difficulties on the path to enlightenemnt. Use the coming weeks to transform challenges into resources, pain into healing, darkness into light. Allow yourself to be washed clean. Purify, awaken, seek transformation and renewal through the emotional body. Spend ample time in water, near water, surrended by water. Detox gently, supporting release and letting go, while using your inner waters as a resource for this process. Allow your inner waters to wash your heart clean- which will be supported through tears and purging emotions. Clear and organize your home space, the outer temple. Bring more sattva (purity) to your environment. Allow Spirit to be a resource for gathering clarity, wisdom and support while setting intentions for your health, life and soul's purpose for the coming months and year. Some may feel overly optimistic and miss the mark- becoming lackadaisical. Though there will be more support for your efforts, don't get lazy or over confident. Diligence, consistency and clear intention are required to move forward and find success at this time. With the close of the Kala Sarpa Yoga impacts arriving, expect a sudden shift, change or transformation with the themes of the past four plus months. A closure and release is possible, albeit through sudden and unexpected occurances. Be cautious, steady and patient. Use your emotions as a resource for healing, not causing more pain to yourself and others. Allowing their release is necessary, even vital, so don't suppress feelings, your inner waters. Go slow, be gentle with yourselves and others. Relationships are a powerful source of healing in the cycle ahead- especially the relationship with yourself. Love yourself enough to tenderly care for your inner and outer needs through respect, clarity and intention. Learn through being. Treat yourself with tender loving care and let this be your new baseline from which you act. Align with your highest ideals and move towards your desires. There is a call to action at this time. Stay true to course! Be silent and listen." ~Rumi Moon is waning and the week begins with Moon in the 7th tithi, Saptami, half way through the dark half cycle. This phase of the Moon is Indra's domain, the god of the gods. His weapon of choice is a thunderbolt as he rules the rain, opening the clouds and controlling the nourishment of the earth. Consequently he is connected to powerful dharmic works. This is a Tikshna nakshatra- sharp and dreadful. In the USA, the Electoral College votes on Monday, the 19th. The Moon is under strong illusion today, while a theme of harsh action, confusion and Mental reversals arrive. Interesting timing for the vote to take place. Winter Solstice (for the Northern Hemisphere) occurs this week, which is a turning point in our orientation to the light- both inner and outer. For the Southern Hemisphere, there will be an increase of darkness, inward awareness. For the Northern Hemisphere, an increase of light begins, which begins to shift our attention externally. Themes of integration and balance continue this week as the Kala Sarpa Yoga effects awaken once again for a two week period of heightened extremes and deeper shadow work. . Moon continues through Leo, receiving gaze from Ketu, Mars, and Saturn, while in conjunction with Rahu. There is a lack of clarity and certainty about action steps today. Don't force outcomes, but take thoughtful action steps regardless. Moon is waning and half way through the emptying cycle now. Mars will break the Kala Sarpa yoga on the 28th of December, but won't officially leave Aquarius until January 20th. There is still extreme ups and downs, polarities and binary energy at play. Integration and harmonizing opposites and extremes is vital right now. As Moon transits Purvaphalguni, Bhaga, the god of resources and material enjoyment is enlivened. There's a tendency to overspend and over indulge right now. Watch how your shadows are impacting excess and extremes. This includes finances, eating habits, food, drugs and alcohol, as well as your relationships and behaviors. Seek simplicity, gentleness with yourself and others, as well as clarity with boundaries, and needs. Find more stability- inner and outer- rather than overwhelm through pushing or forcing outcomes and agendas. Mercury goes Retrograde in Sagittarius early this morning. This lengthy transit of Mercury in Sagittarius will last until February 3rd, an unusually long dance of forward and backwards for this swift moving planet. Mercury will retrograde on December 19th for roughly three weeks, until January 8th. This prolongs his stay in the fiery sign of Sagittarius, who is fortunately a friend. Retrograde planets increase the strength of the planet and its indications, expressing themselves more as the nodes do- with excess, confusion and intensity. This transit of Mercury impacts the mental body, the mind, stirring a change process that impacts relationships, money, the feminine and creative powers. The cycle ahead supports change towards nourishment, fluidity and ease. An ability to arrive in the love and stay oriented towards the heart is possible- with courage and commitment. Get clear on what works for you and what doesn't. Communicate your needs authentically and purposefully, but through loving kindness. Work towards clarity with your inner authority and notice when you go against your needs out of fear or a misuse of your power. Read more about Mercury in Sagittarius Tuesday, December 20th Moon in 8th tithi Ashtami Just as Tuesday arrives, Moon shifts into Uttaraphalguni, Aryaman's domain. Late morning, Moon moves to Virgo, joining Jupiter here and receiving gaze from Mars. Try not to force action steps, but be diligent with your choices and momentum. As an Aditya, Aryaman, provides resources- specifically to support the health and well being of the body. This connection to the physical body is a way to honor the ancestors and carry forward one's lineage. Aryaman also supports marriage and that which allows a relationship to be sustained, such as commitment, children and the inner work required to heal and grow together. This nakshatra shows a connection to repaying the ancestors. Honor, respect, connect and give gratitude to your ancestors today. Bring offerings to your altar and attend to your physical body as the maha altar of sustaining the legacy you are alive to bring forth. Notice omens, symbols and messages arriving from your ancestors. Mars moves to Satabisha nakshatra, moving closer to Ketu, who is still transiting this domain of the sky. There is deep healing possible, but only by cracking open and looking at the depth of your darkness. Do so with diligence, yet with gentleness and loving kindness, or there will be resistance to fully arriving in your truth, light and wisdom. The coming weeks provoke sparks of awakening, albeit through possibly painful and challenging encounters. Stay connected to body, breath and your inner truth. Seek integration, harmony, and above all, love. Wednesday, December 21st Moon in 9th tithi Navami Moon moves through Virgo and into Hasta nakshatra early morning. Savitr rules this constellation, bringing the dawning, the light, through greater wisdom and awareness. There is a new dawn arriving today. Look for the moments of awareness, move towards your truth, connect with your body and breath, find your grounding cord. Ask for guidance and support to help you unfold your truth. The first day of winter for the Northern Hemisphere (first day of Summer for the Southern Hemisphere) arrives on December 21st at 03:44 am MST. For those of us beginning the silence of winter, Solstice marks a powerful turning point. It is the darkest day of the year with the least amount of sunlight, creating the longest night. It is a still point in the season, inviting deep silence, pause and reflection on the past seasons. This is a powerful time to attend to release, letting go and purging of emotions and grief that have been undigested. Use this time to let go of your past cycles, that which has been stored in the bodies- in order to cultivate more space for the coming cycles. More light is to come! The days will continue to increase in length and strength, inviting in more brightness in the days and months to come. For the Southern Hemisphere, there will be an increase of darkness, inward awareness. For the Northern Hemisphere, an increase of light begins, which begins to shift our attention externally. Themes of integration and balance continue as the Kala Sarpa Yoga effects heighten extremes and deeper shadow work. . Vishvakarma rules this portion of the sky, bringing his creative powers to life. He is a powerful creator who supports the construction and creative process intimately. He likes action steps and grande plans, and he will support bringing your goals to life with diligent action steps. Chitra is ruled by Mars, the soldier, which expresses the power and focus possible here. Service and karma yoga are particularly aligned with this star's intention. Make your steps count today. Are they aligned with your highest truth, your dharmic purpose? Let everything else go. Allow dharma to be your highest calling, your highest truth. Organize around this. Late evening, Moon shifts to Libra. Integrate, harmonize, align. Friday, December 23rd Moon in 11th tithi Ekadashi The need for integrating polarities and extremes is enlivened today as Moon moves through the sign of balance, Libra. Late morning, Moon arrives in Swati nakshatra and great movement and momentum is stirred. Vayu, the wind god, rules this domain, offering change, illumination, dharma and a lack of grounding. Swati nakshatra has an easily changing nature and often a lack of grounding, landing and support. Vayu is a powerful force that, when on your side, can carry you great distances, like the wind in your sails. Can you ground even as you move? Can you land in your breath, even with such momentum? Can you pause and check, even when the winds are carrying you quickly? Don't get lost in the big gusts of wind, harness it and use it as your strength. Saturday, December 24th Moon in 11th to 12th tithi Ekadashi to Dvadashi The first half of the day is devoted to Swati's movement and momentum. Stay grounded as much as possible. Mid day Moon moves to Vishaka nakshatra and the dual god Indragni brings greater need for integration, harmony and balance between opposing forces. What needs to activate in order for more co-creation within your self and with others? Indra and Agni remind us that when multiple forces combine, the power is stronger, more sustainable. This process of integration and harmonizing is supported through an alchemical transformation process, as opposing forces come together. Notice your resistance to syncing with your inner power. Who are you when you say yes to your power, fully? Where are you saying no to your highest truth, light and power? How can you step towards your empowerment with more clarity and ease? Sunday, December 25th Moon in 12th tithi Dvadashi Late morning, Moon arrives in Scorpio, its debilitation sign and into conjunction with Saturn, planet of grief. The next few days require slowness, stillness and introspection, especially as the new Moon approaches. Continue to find integration, alignment and harmony between opposing forces, as Vishaka rules the day. Late afternoon, Moon shifts into Anuradha nakshatra, Mitra's domain. As an Aditya, Mitra brings resources and support- usually through friendship and alliances. Who and what are you aligning with? Anuradha can get overly focused on details at times, so try to stay with the big picture. For many, it is Christmas Day. Seek harmony and connection today, while honoring your grief and emotions intentionally. Spend time in silence, with body and breath. Set intentions for being in relationship with self and others at this time. What do you need to feel supported and honored? Monday, December 26th Moon in 13th tithi Trayodasi Moon continues through its debilitation sign, Scorpio, and through Anuradha nakshatra. Mitra brings deeper connections through friendships, alliances and support. As an Aditya, he is a form of the Sun, bringing resources in the form of relationships. With Moon conjuncting Saturn right now, there is a need to look at grief, personal and ancestral, that may be hindering your ability to connect on deeper levels. There is an uprooting taking place that will allow you to release and let go of parts of yourself that are no longer serving you. This includes relationships and connections that are not aligned with your hightest needs. Allow the release to take place. Why might you be resisting the letting go? Who are you when you no longer have painful relationships in your life? What does your life look like when you are aligned with those who fully love and honor you? Early evening Moon arrives in Jyeshtha nakshatra and Indra brings his strength, tenacity and clarity. Pause and check in with your inner needs. Tuesday, December 27th Moon in 14th tithi Chaturdasi Moon moves into exact conjunction with Saturn today, provoking grief, hardship and pain to rise to the surface. Both planets are navigating Jyeshtha nakshatra right now, Indra's domain. Let grief release, find channels to let the emotional body move and stay close to the physical body. Saturn is also the container, the body, of the cosmic self. As the Moon magnifies the grief of Saturn today and the dynamics of the mental body in Jyeshtha nakshatra, it's important to not get lost in the confusion and overwhelm. Stay close to your body and breath, in order to harvest your needs. Find stability within the body, but surf the emotional body waves diligently. Get clear on what is mind stuff (chitta vritti) and what is emotions. These bodies are very different and have very different needs, but so often get intertwined, sparking confusion, intensified pain and suffering. What does your emotional body need right now? What does your mental body need? What does your physical body need? What does your spiritual body need? * All timing is Mountain Standard Time.

Use it to clarify, awaken and respond to your inner call. The week begins with a dose of change and new power. The full Moon in Taurus is on the rise and Mars has just shifted into Aquarius, bringing a different sense of strength. This week Sun also moves into the delicate gandanta between Scorpio and Sagittarius, landing in Mula nakshatra. How do you dance with the chaos? An exchange of energy between Saturn and Mars continues for the coming weeks, this time through the signs Scorpio and Aquarius. This is a time to radically release shadows and misconceptions- all that is holding you back from self realization and empowerment. Be fearless in your extension and reach. Notice where you resist, hold back and play small. Look at the behaviors and choices that keep you playing small- including foods, drugs/alcohol, schedule, over-giving and under-giving, lack of clarity about your needs etc. As we move towards the darkest point of the year (Northern Hemisphere) it's a time of radical inner excavation and awareness. Dive deep. Mars moves to Aquarius on December 11th at 05:54 am MST, joining Ketu here. Both receive direct gaze from Rahu which will instigate a certain closing of the Kala Sarpa Yoga effects. No doubt there will be an intensification of the rocky past few months as Mars nears exact conjunction with Ketu on December 27th. There will be some final release and forced letting go as a result of these two fiery planets conjoining in the sign of duality. There may be confusion about how to integrate porlarities and extremes until Mars shifts to Pisces on January 20th. Mars is the warrior planet- not a thinker, but an action taker. He does not lead with his mind or his heart, but with his action-oriented approach to life. "Doing" is his claim to fame. Ketu brings cutting, sudden shifts and changes, awakening through release, as well as trauma through sudden loss. He is the tail of the serpent energy that Rahu instigates. As the Kala Sarpa Yoga comes to a close with this Mars cycle, expect themes with polarities to present themselves more aggressively. This is a time of radical integration and alignment with your True Self. Read more about Mars in Aquarius Monday, December 12th Moon in 14th tithi Chaturdasi Moon is nearing Purnima (fullness) and emotional waves increase to high tide. Moon transits Krittika nakshatra, Agni's domain, sparking the fire of life, the powerful force of alchemy and transformation. Moon is exalted for the first hour of the day, promising a potent week ahead. As the morning takes hold, Moon moves into its mulitrikona degrees- still strong, but the intensity dwindles. Just after noon, Moon moves to Rohini nakshatra, the highly creative star notorious for manifestation and material wealth. What are you manifesting in the cycle to come? Get clear on your goals, action steps and intentions. {Plant Your Seeds of Light and Wisdom} *FREE* Winter Solstice Web Class. Join me for a free Winter Solstice Web Class ::: Please RSVP to join the list: [email protected] Tuesday, December 13th Moon in 15th tithi Purnima Moon continues to move through Taurus, its mulitrikona sign and Rohini nakshatra. Sun, Saturn, Mars and Jupiter give their gaze, offering confusion with expansion and empowerment. Mulitrikona planets can exert their energy at 75% strength, which means that this full Moon and emotional body expression is strong and may feel overpowering. Channel this energy and deep feelings into conscious manifestation. What are you calling in, creating and aligning with at this time? Late morning Moon shifts to Mrigashirsha nakshatra, inviting in reach, extension and nourishment. Say yes. Sun is at the very edge of Scorpio right now. The delicate gandanta (gap) between water and fire signs is opening radical changes with the masculine. Stay close to your grounding cord. Early evening, Moon shifts to Gemini. Find your creativity and access this inner wisdom for new possibilities. The December Full Moon is on the 13th at 17:05 MST. Moon is in its mulitrikona sign, a great place for emotional expression and connection. Full Moon in Taurus and Mrigashirsha nakshatra brings reaching and extending into new territory and resources in the coming cycle. Branch out and seek new nectar for your soul. Attract more of what you need. Go out on a limb and try something new. Be bold in your action steps. Watch for fickle and flighty responses. Try to follow through and stick to your word. You may find yourself in challenges where you were not clear about your needs and intentions. Focus. Read more about the full Moon. Wednesday, December 14th Moon in 1st tithi Pratipad Moon transits Gemini and receives gaze from Mercury, ruling planet of this air sign, as well as Ketu, the planet of cutting and forced release. Notice where you are stuck in old mental/emotional body patterns. Intercept the thoughts and replace them with attention to the sensations in the body. Restructure and reframe. The Moon is waning now, but still quite full and energized. As the lunar energy shifts into Ardra nakshatra mid morning, Rudra brings his immense strength and power to the day. This is a Rahu ruled constellation and is known for intense emotional waves and expressions. The symbol for this portion of the sky is a tear and the body part associate is the eyes. Allow the emotional body waves to move through you today in healthy, safe and constructive ways. Wash your self clean. The capacity to which you allow the release, is the capacity to which you are able to hold the arrival of the new. Attend to your grief consciously. This may emerge as sadness or anger. Sun is at the edge of Scorpio, leaving his tight conjunction with the grief planet, Saturn. Attend to your inner light, the masculine, physical and spiritual bodies, and the ways in which your grief may be surfacing through these channels. Thursday, December 15th Moon in 2nd tithi and 3rd tithi Dvitiya to Tritiya Just after Thursday begins, Moon shifts to the softer and gentler constellation of Punarvasu. Aditi and the planet Jupiter rule this part of the sky. Aditi is the abundant mother of all goodness, resources, generous material gifts and support from the universe. Since it is the day of Jupiter (Thursday) as well, the expansive and nourishing support of Jupiter is offered two-fold. Expand towards what you need for deeper nourishment. Where are you resisting the abundance of yourself and your life? Where are you malnourished and playing too small, neglecting your inner source, your inner power? Receiving the abundance of life requires that you rise to the occassion and can say yes to being bigger, bolder and more powerful. Brighten your life light. Late evening Moon moves to its own sign, Cancer, finding deeper nourishment, ease and sensitivity. The emotional body becomes central in the coming days. Sun shifts out of Saturns energy, away from conjunction with this heavy, planet of grief, on December 15th, arriving in Sagittarius at 08:02 am MST. As our light source lands in this fire sign, he enters the challenging gandanta of Mula. There are only three of these junction points in the zodiac, but this is a particularly important one- notorious for uprooting and chaos. This is an important two week period for the masculine, ego and sense of empowerment. Expect deep transformation, uprooting and release on the levels of your masculine self- as well as with the male relationships in your life. This is a restructuring phase and will impact how your relate, as well as who you relate to. For months there have been an intesification of masculine themes and confrontation with male based ego, the weak masculine and excess aggression. This is an opportunity to align with masculine parts of yourself that are more about right-relationship, conscious relating and deep intention for integration and balance. Use this time to uproot that which is not serving you, that which is overtly aggressive- towards yourself and others. He is another expression of Jupiter and his benevolence through wisdom, brings sattva (purity) and expansion towards the positive in life. Moon continues through its own sign, Cancer, which increases the emotional body receptivity and sensitivity available. The direct gaze of Venus provides increased focus on relationships, the feminine and creativity. Pushya nakshatra, the star of nourishment, supports more availability for getting needs met, being held and supported. Are you allowing the resources to show up for you? Are you accepting the support presenting itself? What are your deeper needs and where might you be resisting the nourishment? Increasing your emotional body intelligence will support your ability to identify your needs more directly. Lean in and listen to your feeling level, your inner wisdom. What is it telling you about your need for more holding, support, comfort and safety? Saturday, December 17th Moon in 5th tithi Panchami Saturday arrives as Moon shifts to Ashlesha nakshatra, Sarpa's domain. This is the domain of the serpent, the shadowy, mysterious and deceptive energy of the snake. There is often confusion, misdeeds and misuse of power with this constellation. The positive, more life supporting energy of the Sarpa power is found through the Nagas- serpents of the deep, subconscious terrain. Sarpa energy can be transformed into Naga energy, but through restraint, commitment to purity and transformational practices. Sarpa energy is particularly poignant right now because of the Kala Sarpa yoga effects. Notice where you are misaligned with your needs and intentions. Notice where your relationship with power and the masculine needs adjustments. Notice where you are not in right-relationship with your inner wisdom and inner truth. Lean closer to your shadow self, not further away. Read more about the Kala Sarpa Yoga effects Sunday, December 18th Moon in 6th tithi Sashthi Sunday, day of Sun, opens with Moon moving to Leo (sign of the Sun) and Magha nakshatra. There are several layers of the masculine, Sun energy being offered today, coupled with Moon moving through the constellation of the ancestors, particulary the father's lineage. Magha is considered a junction point, a gap, known as a gandanta. It is a place of uprooting, unraveling and deep change. As Sun arrives in Leo, it conjoins Rahu, head of the serpent, once again. Mars and Ketu give their gaze as does Saturn. There is an intensity and fire provoked today that will need to be navigated consciously. Use this time consciously for releasing disempowering thoughts and behaviors. Notice where you are not aligned with your inner power, your masculine energy. What would right-relationship with the masculine feel like for you- within and within your relationships? How can you channel your power in authentic, life supporting ways, that nourish yourself and others? Monday, Decmeber 19th Moon in 7th tithi Saptami The week begins with Moon shifting into Purvaphalguni nakshatra and into exact conjunction with Rahu, once again starting a two week cycle of Kala Sarpa yoga effects. Moonis waning and half way through the empting cycle now. Mars will break the Kala Sarpa yoga on the 28th of December, but won't officially leave Aquarius until January 20th. There is still extreme ups and downs, polarities and binary energy at play. Integration and harmonizing opposites and extremes is vital right now. As Moon transists Purvaphalguni, Bhaga, the god of resources and material enjoyment is enlivened. Focus. Mrigashirsha nakshatra is ruled by Soma, another name for Chandra, the Moon. As ruler of the emotional body and the feelings within, Moon supports the experience of life through this uniquely human attribute. The Moon rules all the nakshatras, lunar constellations, the divine expressions of the subtle emotional body realms on a cosmic level. Moon is the fastest moving planet of the nine recognized Vedic planets, transitioning through each sign every 2.5 days. This expresses the fickle, ever changing nature of the Moon, emotions and the feminine. Soma is lord of the plants, and he gives the potency and nourishment that plants offer. In ancient times there was a Soma plant that had 15 leaves- each one correlating to the 15 tithis (Moon phases). Ideally, harvesting of medicinal plants is done on the full Moon, when the Soma is the strongest within the plant. Soma is pulled from the roots and into the leaves during a full Moon. Use this full Moon and coming cycle to strengthen your extending branches and allow your Soma to touch others, connecting and creating from your intentions. Trust your roots and reach your leaves and branches wide. Connect, co-create, reach out. The Moon is social and friendly, allow the nature of the Moon to support your interactions. This waning cycle marks the near closing of a lengthy process of a Kala Sarpa yoga. Mrigashirsha nakshatra is ruled by Mars, transiting Aquarius now, and will collide with the cutting nature of Ketu, before he ends the Kala Sarpa Yoga in the coming weeks. Watch for excess anger, aggression and passion- within and from others. There is a radical force taking place right now that can be delusional, violent and severe. Watch your emotional body carefully. Express and release emotions in a conscious and intentional ways. Be clear about your needs and expectations. Most importantly, let your anger be your teacher, your guru. Anger is a powerful change agent and often expresses parts of yourself that feel unfairly treated. Look closely at your personal mythology and notice what your ego is clinging to with tenacity. Can you find a softer, gentler place within to focus your attention, your inner gaze? Notice where boundaries need to be restructured- where you've been saying yes when you need to firmly say no. Emotional body flares are notoriously connected to leaky boundaries and lack of inner clarity. Attend to relationships with tact, clarity and the intention of loving-kindness. Be clear and firm with your needs. Use this cycle to honor a sense of liberation and letting go of parts of yourself and your life that are not feeding you. If it doesn't noursh you, radically remove it. This is a time of empowering, deep nourishment. What do you need to do for deeper sustainable abundance, comfort and support? Creative Ritual * Create a list of self care activities that nourish and support your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies. * Use the four level check in regularly as well as EFT for identifying and moving emotions. 1) Using craypas, paints or pencils, create an image of your nourishment. What does nourishment feel like for you? Create an image that expresses this feeling using colors, textures and shapes. Allow 20 minutes at minimum for this nourishment image. Title your image. 2) Use your image to inspire a movement exploration. Let your body move in response to your nourishment image with an intention of "moving with your feelings of nourishment". What sensations emerge for you during your dance? What awareness? Allow 5 to 10 minutes for this movement exploration. I encourage you to extend this time frame as you recycle this process. 3) Harvesting. In your journal answer these questions: I am, I want, I need, I sense, I feel, I imagine. What deeply nourishes me? What no longer nourishes me? Where do I feel support in my life? Where do I need more support? What am I opening to? What am I closing to? {Plant Your Seeds of Light and Wisdom} *FREE* Winter Solstice Web Class. In the face of this we love. In the face of this we forgive. Because the vast majority of water protectors know this is the greatest battle of all: to keep our hearts intact.” ~ Lyla June Johnston, a young Native leader. Moon continues to wax this week, gathering strength and emotional body impact. Mercury and Rahu move to new nakshatras this week, creating potent adjustments to the effects of the transits. Read more about the impact of these changes. Sun collides with Saturn this week, making for some challenges and discomfort- especially with the masculine, ego and physical body. Grief is moving through the body, supporting release with masculine pain body, identity and empowerment. Ease this process by leaning into your grief and pain. Notice where you're resisting it. Resist and it will persist. As shared previously, Mars has shifted to Dhanishta nakshatra and Jupiter moved to Chitra nakshatra early this morning. The Vasu Devas and Vishvakarma supported the light and the rebuilding of contracts taking place at Standing Rock right now. More light has arrived, more alignment with right action. Monday, December 5th Moon in 7th tithi Saptami Moon shifts to Dhanishta nakshatra just before Monday begins, joining Mars in this constellation as well. The eight Vasu Devas rule this portion of the sky, bringing to light desires, dreams and ambitions. Wealth is a gift of the Vasus, one of the many resources supported by the manifestation powers of these Devas. As ideas awaken into action, resources and wealth arrive as well. The Vasu Devas bring the light (jyoti) so look for flickers of insight, wisdom and ideas through sudden flashes of awareness today. Sun moves into closer conjunction with Saturn this week, deepening the release of grief around masculinity, ego, spirit and physical body. Attend to your shadow with rigor and intention right now. As we near the still point of the year, Winter Solstice, there is a deep emptying taking place on all levels of your being. Support this process of gentleness and ease through intentionally moving closer to your inner realms. Tuesday, December 6th Moon in 8th tithi Ashtami Satabisha rules the day as Moon moves through Varuna's nakshatra. His all seeing abilities bring scrutiny, enliven the critic, and complicate health. When Varuna is against you, nothing can remove his pain and challenges. When Moon travels through this constellation, it's a reminder to make prevention a priority. Move into right relationship with actions and choices that support your well being. Eat well, on time, and do activities to support your health. Don't get off track. Rahu rules this constellation which can increase poor food choices and bad habits. Stay true to course and align with nourishment. Despite the challenges of this nakshatra, it can also bring immense healing support and wisdom as well. Clarify and release the challenges today. Gather support and resources for ease. Moon is in exact conjunction with Ketu midday, causing sudden shifts changes and unexpected emotions and experiences. As Moon moves to the other side of Ketu later today, the Kala Sarpa Yoga breaks. We enter a two week period of release and integration. Read more about the impacts of this challenging Sarpa effect. Wednesday, December 7th Moon in 9th tithi Navami Just as Wednesday arrives, Moon shifts to Purvabhadrapada nakshatra and more balance becomes vital. Today requires integration between opposing forces. This may feel challenging and impossible, yet with your intention, great strides can be made. Moon shifts to the outside of Ketu and into Pisces late evening. Polarities are asking for you to integrate and harmonize their opposition. This will support more ease, balance and focus in the coming two weeks. Jupiter gives his gaze to the Moon in Pisces, offering nourishment, wisdom and extra support. As the Moon moves into another cycle of completion, what are you letting go of? It's time to intentionally find release and arrive at your true essence. Keep it simple. Stay grounded. Get close to the body. {Plant Your Seeds of Light and Wisdom} *FREE* Winter Solstice Web Class. Uttarabhadrapada is ruled by the Naga, Ahirbudhnya. Sarpas are snakes that bring deception and illusion, while Nagas are serpents that support wisdom, deeper knowledge and insights. You must dive deep into the subconscious terrain in order to grasp the pearls of wisdom that the Nagas offer. You won't find them on the surface. How deep are you willing to go? Late evening, Moon shifts to the final nakshatra of the zodiac, Revati. There is still some lingering uprooting taking place in the mind. Attend to the release, the cutting and the letting go. Mercury moves out of Mula nakshatra today and into Purvashada, the domain of Apas, the water goddess. This is a Venus ruled nakshatra and supports the creative and communication essence of Mercury. Communication, creativity and relationships get a boost of support, especially with the current exchange of energy between Mercury and Jupiter (Jupiter is transiting Virgo, ruled by Mercury and Mercury is currently transiting Sagittarius, a Jupiter ruled sign). Expect a lift with your thoughts, ideas and connections in the coming days. You've been pulling up weeds and tilling your garden. It's time to start intentionally planting some new seeds through conscious thoughts, words and actions. Think abundantly! Read more about Mercury in Sagittarius Friday, December 9th Moon in 11th tithi Ekadashi Moon transits the final nakshatra of the zodiac, Revati, enlivening Pushan, the deity of safe passages, journeys and travels. He removes obstacles on the path and provides resources to support the journey. Jupiter gives his gaze to the Moon, softening the mind and expanding hope, possibility and options. Think big, then think even bigger. Late evening, Moon crosses one of three tricky gandanta points in the zodiac, shifting from Pisces into Aries. As the Moon leaves water and enters fire, it lands in a Ketu ruled nakshatra, Ashwini. This is a vulnerable gap that instigates change, forced release and sudden, unexpected changes. Mars and Rahu give their gaze, instigating confusion, aggression and strong feelings. Shift from challenge into resource. Re-frame your difficulties and look for the silver lining. For some, big gains may arrive. Ask for a boon. On December 9th, Rahu shifts into a Ketu ruled nakshatra, Magha. This nakshatra is considered one of the three gandantas- junction points between water and fire signs. These portals are particularly notorious for creating immense transformation and change. Ketu is currently transiting a Rahu ruled nakshatra, Satabisha. This exchange between Rahu and Ketu will bring to light much of the darkness and deception that seems so illusive right now. Nothing is what it seems. The Sarpa (serpent) energy being activated right now is increasing the extreme highs and lows taking place inner and outer. Things go well and support comes, but then this is taken or it vanishes somehow. All is illusive and in constant change. The shift of Rahu into Magha will activate the ancestors and increase the forced cutting and release process taking place currently. Magha brings magnanimous action and a royal spirit with profound accomplishment and visibility. It's shadow side is excess ego, misuse of masculine power and extreme or aggressive force. As the necessity for being in right-relationship with the masculine energy comes to the surface right now, notice where you are pushing too hard and forcing outcomes. Read more about Rahu in Magha Saturday, December 10th Moon in 12th tithi Dvadashi Moon transits Ashwini nakshatra, a gap that supports rejuvenation, revitalization and renewal. Support the body mind with healing and stability. Hit re-set and land more fully within. What are you releasing right now? Prepare consciously for the cycle ahead by allowing the release to take place fully. Early evening, Moon moves to Bharani nakshatra and more restraint is required. Yama brings certain control and commitment to containment. He owns simplicity and clarity about outcomes as he determines what the nature of your karma is. All karmic judgment goes through Yama! Clarify your needs, commitment levels and relationships. What needs to be restructured so you can get your needs met more directly? Sunday, December 11th Moon in 13th tithi Trayodasi Moon continues to transit through Bharani nakshatra the majority of the day, stirring Yamas restraint and judgment. This constellation is symbolized by a yoni, which expresses great strengh, as well as the powerful portal of death and life. All birthing requires a death and all deaths by default create a birthing. Ruling deity, Yama, is connected to both territories- as he judges ones karma at the gateway of both life and death. Stay true to the transformations taking place within you today. What is dying and what is being reborn? Allow the release to take place and make your intentions known. Early evening, Moon shifts to Krittika nakshatra and Agni's transformational energy supports your transformations even further. Lean in. Late evening, Moon jumps into its sign of exaltation, Taurus, bringing the emotional body to full capacity. Move with the tides, not against them. * All timing is Mountain Standard Time. Prepare for the year ahead with clarity, direction and right action.

Some of this will be forced, uncomfortable and challenging. Many will be triggered by a range of emotions, mental body stories and old personal mythology rising to the surface. Read more about the challenging transits to come. How do you know if you are disempowered, disconnected from your inner source? When your breath is short, body is tight and mind is running the show, you are likely disconnected from your inner wisdom and power. This may present itself through emotional body reactions, mental stories that seem to be on repeat in your head, and physical body responses that constrict you, leaving you closed off to possibility, options, new choices.. Old patterns and behaviors that keep you locked in disempowerment or self sabotage are ways that you may be repeatedly disconnecting from your power. This can in fact be an addiction. Allowing yourself to repeatedly get sucked into old behaviors and patterns are likely the root of much of your disconnection and disempowerment. Can you catch yourself in the act? Deeper inner listening and self tracking are both essential for bringing your unconscious actions and choices to the surface, to your conscious awareness. This is where your power is. In the present moment. When you can intercept an old thought, behavior or spiral of thoughts and emotions, then you can make a different choice. Your power is firmly rooted in making choices. Choices that nourish and align with your highest intentions, rather than old, outworn and negative patterns and behaviors that lead to behaviors that don't really honor or serve you. Recently I had a very conscious interception of old thought patterns, and finally put my foot down. After days of self loathing and feeling like I had made some very poor choices- choices that resulted in deep heart break and sadness (again)- I realized this was a very old addiction for me. The addiction of beating myself up mentally for making a "bad" choice and then further spiraling down into "See, I've done it again" and even "I deserve this pain because of this bad choice." The addiction to these old stories has cost me much happiness and self love over the years. But this week, I took my power back. I stepped towards the story rather than letting it control me. I tapped it out. I danced it out. I painted it out and got it moving, rather than stuck inside of me. And then I said "NO". After closer investigation, I realized that this old pattern of spiraling down and down and down in self deprecation could actually be stopped- if I chose to stop it. So I did. I realized I could take my power back from these old thoughts, these old stories, and the behaviors that come with them. I took my power back. The reality is that I learned a lot from my recent painful choices and the grief that emerged through the heartbreak. They have made me wiser, more careful, and even expanded my compassion towards myself and others. That part feels good and should be celebrated. But staying stuck in the self inflicted pain is a choice. And because I became aware of my thoughts and emotions, I could also say "No more". I chose to reconnect, realign and re-establish my connection to my truth, my source, my inner knowing- my power. What does it feel like to be connected, empowered and aligned with your inner source? You've no doubt had these moments- often fleeting- yet memorable. Compelling enough that they inspire you to find ways to re-connect again and again. The body is the point of reconnection, the point of aligning with the NOW. Your body holds infinite wisdom and connects you to your source, Spirit and your inner knowing. When you are connected and aligned with your inner wisdom, your power, it often feels light, simple, easy and nourishing. Some feel joy, happiness and heart expansion swelling and opening the body, breath and feeling level. The dance of disconnection and reconnection is the epic journey of coming home- over and over again. It is the story of embodiment and establishing greater grounding, roots and resiliency- in order to ride the undulating waves and tumultuous storms of life. Reconnecting within body, mind, emotions and spirit are all essential for greater power, purpose and clarity with your being and your life! What do you do in the face of disconnection from your inner power? How do you find your way back to inner trust and certainty? What resources are your go-to tools for reconnection? Here are five ways to establish deeper, sustainable connection with your Self and your inner power. 5 Ways to Step Into Your Power Right now: 1) The point of power is in the now, this moment right now. You won't truly know the power of this moment without establishing a deeper sense of Self awareness. What is arriving right now within your inner landscape? What do you need right now in order to deepen your sense of reconnection? Do a Self audit. Self track every day. 2) Loosen the grip of triggers and painful stories. Move the mind and emotions and don't let them get stuck in your unconscious mind. Use my Tapping Meditation below to take back your power, get embodied and hear the wisdom of your inner knowing. 3) Track the planets and know what's impacting you right now. A deeper Self awareness comes from understanding the influences upon you. Then you can properly resource yourself. Knowing how the planets are impacting your mind, body and emotions, is a powerful step in bringing light (jyoti) to your conscious awareness. Jyotish prevents unnecessary suffering and helps you align with right action and choices. Track the planets daily, weekly, and monthly. 4) Study the layers of your inner wisdom. Know thyself. Your jyotish chart is the most potent resource of identification and self exploration you will ever receive. It is the map of your soul, shows you your life purpose, your reason for being alive. The short cut to understanding who you are and why you are alive, can be found through studying your jyotish chart. All the wisdom you need for greater, clarity and ease is written within your cosmic map. Deepen your jyotish studies and awaken your inner knowing with this. 5) Commit to your self growth and say yes to new resources and guidance. Consistent guidance and support makes the difference between success and failure in this life. You can't get new results when you continue to do the same thing and make the same choices. Lasting sustainable change comes when you start changing old patterns and stop repeating old behaviors. Big life changes occur when you get ongoing guidance and support, new resources and tools for success. Words I've been sharing with myself and clients recently: Take Your Power Back! 🐅✨ I love myself way too much to let your words hurt me. I love myself way too much to allow your own ignorance to touch me. I love myself way too much to allow your inability to self refer to impact me. I love myself too much and honor my inner wisdom so much, I can't allow your fear, your hate and your inner violence to penetrate my sacred center. It's unacceptable to me- to allow your ignorance to shame me, rip me down, make me feel insignificant and subordinate. No more. I take my power back. I take my power back because I can. I take my power back because my wisdom and inner knowing are valuable. I have my own genius, as everyone does. I honor my uniqueness and I honor my gifts. So I take my power back. I take my power back because this world needs women who can trust themselves, women who can affirm themselves, and women who can honor themselves- even when others try to rip them down. I take my power back so that I can help empower others. This world needs more of that. So you can take your shame, your blame, your dominance based ego elsewhere. I can see through all of that and it's not welcome here. I love myself and so I take my power back. (BONUS: Use the tapping points below and tap through these words of empowerment!) Tapping Meditation ~ Take Your Power Back! Tapping Meditation for More Power Use this Tapping Meditation when you feel stuck, afraid or resistant to change. When you get triggered by someone else or find yourself frozen in old patterns and behaviors. Remember that we always start with "truth tapping" by expressing feelings and experiences that feel challenging. This is a vital part of the process and paves the way for transformation and healing. In the podcast below, I share a tapping (EFT) sequence with you that will guide you through transforming and releasing the old stories and invite in more receptivity. Remember, we start with identifying the challenges, then moving into possibility and desires in order to transform our shadow into light. Use this podcast as you tap through these points: Karate chop point (side of the hand). Crown of the head. Eyebrow point (above the eye). Side of the eye. Under the eye. Under the nose. Chin point (crease of the chin). Throat point (collar bone/throat chakra). Heart point (center of chest). Stomach point (above the navel). Side body (nipple line at side of chest). Tap six to ten times on each point and just keep cycling through the points. Repeat the phrases I use aloud. Notice any thoughts, stories, memories or emotions that emerge as you tap. These are important pieces to return to, do more tapping on, as a way to clear blockages. As always, if the words I use don't work for you, change them to support your process more fully. Share your experiences below! What emerged for you in this process? Excited to hear from you! I am on a mission to help sensitive souls connect with their inner truth and inner wisdom. To connect with purpose and dharma. We need you now more than ever! Every week I offer two *free* dharma coaching sessions to action takers who are ready for deep life change. Is this you?!
