As August comes to a close, a fiery new Moon in sidereal Leo occurs on the 30th at 04:38 am MT. Conjoining with four other planets in Leo, Moon conjuncts Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars. Sun, Moon and Mercury are all transiting through the powerful constellation of Magha at the time of the new Moon, which puts them in a gandanta- or change point. Magha nakshatra is considered a gandanta point- one of three in the zodiac. Gandantas are notorious for uprooting the psycho-emotional bodies, ushering in deep physiological change. This particular new Moon supports change on the Mental, Emotional and Physical body levels- so be prepared for a whole body overhaul in the days and weeks ahead. A whole body transformation is taking place and this will impact all areas of your life. The constellation of Magha is ruled by Pitr, which is deeply connected to the ancestors. This new Moon, and the cycle ahead, brings support, insight and wisdom from the ancestors- so pay attention to the messages arriving and ask for their guidance. Magha is extremely powerful and bold. It asks you to step up, speak out, shine brighter and share your power. This is not a constellation that plays small. In the cycle ahead, make some clear choices about how you are using your power. Are you frittering it away on distractions and excuses? Are you focusing on right action and your dharmic path? Is your souls purpose your main intention? Are you action steps aligned with your desires? Get your priorities straight and don't waste time. The ancestors want you to align with dharma and they will be helping you get the support you need. The potential for a life upgrade is taking place right now. All you have to do is be willing to change and take more empowered, focused steps towards your dreams and inner wisdom. Mercury moves to Leo August 26th joining Venus, Sun and Mars- all in a very tight conjunction. When a planet is within the 10 degree range of the Sun it becomes combust, or burnt. The current dynamic creates mental and physical body burns. Stay cool and use water as a resource for finding balance. This month we need to watch for burn out- physically and mentally. The fire will be intensifying power, passion, force, masculine energy and motivation. Use your power mindfully and don't push or force- even though the temptation will be there. This can also be a very potent time for taking big, impactful action steps towards your passion and purpose. There is immense power available to all of us right now. How do you want to use this power?! Sun is our power source and he's transiting his favorite sign until mid September. This is your reminder to literally "make hay while the Sun shines." What projects have you been putting off? What steps have you been avoiding on your dharmic path? Where have you been hiding or diminishing your power?! Now is the time to step up! Step into your big energy, your inner power. Ask for more! Take a big leap towards your dreams! Up-level you life! Expand your vision! Stop playing small! Your gifts and wisdom matter. Step up and share your dharmic path in bigger and bolder ways. Creative RitualWhat does empowerment feel like? How do you feel this energy in your body? Use my Tapping Meditation below to support an increase in your power. Then use this awareness to create an image and identify your needs. Take this surge of energy and channel it into powerful action steps! Once you create your image of power, share it with us in the Embodied Moon FB group! Step #1 How do you know if you are disempowered, disconnected from your inner source? When your breath is short, body is tight and mind is running the show, you are likely disconnected from your inner wisdom and power. This may present itself through emotional body reactions, mental stories that seem to be on repeat in your head, and physical body responses that constrict you, leaving you closed off to possibility, options, new choices. Read More and Listen to my Tapping Meditation for Empowerment Step #2 Create an image of what it feels like to be empowered, connected and feeling your inner strength. What colors, textures and images arrive? Using craypas, paints or pencils, create an image of your power. Create an image that expresses this feeling using colors, textures and shapes. Allow 20 minutes at minimum for this nourishment image. Title your image. Step #3 Use your image to inspire a movement exploration. Let your body move in response to your image with the intention of "moving with your feelings". What feelings emerge for you during your dance? What awareness? Allow 5 to 10 minutes for this movement exploration. I encourage you to extend this time frame as you recycle this process. Step #4 Harvesting. In your journal answer these questions: I am, I want, I need, I sense, I feel, I imagine, I express Where do I feel support in my life? Where do I need more support? JOIN US!

The second New Moon of July occurs on the 31st at 21:13 MT just hours before August begins. Moon lands in its own sign, Cancer, transiting Pushya nakshatra at the time of emptiness. Cancer is full right now with Sun, Venus, and debilitated Mars- navigating this emotional, watery sign. Mercury has momentarily dipped back into Gemini, but will return to Cancer within days. Jupiter gives his gaze to Cancer, his sign of exaltation, gifting this intense combination of planets with some much needed sattva and wisdom. Pushya nakshatra is ruled by Brihaspati, another name for Jupiter, giver of nourishment and powerful support through wisdom. This star supports balance through expansion and contraction, opening and closing. It is an important time to acknowledge grief, undigested emotions and struggles, while also gathering the necessary support, wisdom and clarity necessary for more nourishment in your life. Open your hear and clarify your emotional body wisdom. Cancer is the sign of all things emotional body, as well as mother, heart, land and home. Watery insights and deep feelings emerge with this sign. Use the cycle ahead to be honest with your emotions. Clear and release undigested or stagnant grief. Gather support, guidance and wisdom for healing and transformation. Acknowledge boundary work and what needs are surfacing. What needs to be restructured in your relationships so you can receive more nourishment? Where are you saying YES where you should be saying NO? What important wisdom is your emotional body trying to tell you? Be proactive and make sure your action steps align with your deepest needs. Creative RitualThis Creative Ritual will also help you work directly with your challenges- emotion or otherwise. Take your challenge into your creative process and see what develops! Step #1 Movement Exploration. What emotion are you feeling? Is it anger, depression, frustration, chaos, uncertainty? Start dancing this emotion. What does it feel like in your body? Do the "dance of anger" for example. What emerges as you do your anger dance?! Remember to let sounds out! Move and develop your dance for at least minutes. When you feel a sense of closure, ask yourself these questions: I sense, I feel, I imagine. Step #2 Create an image of your emotion. What does it feel like? Put it on paper using colors, textures and shapes. Create an image that expresses your experience with this emotion and whatever emerged in your dance. Spend at least 5 to 20 minutes creating this image. I suggest using paints or craypas and a large piece of paper. Title your image. In your journal or on the back of the drawing answer this question: If your image could speak what would it say? Step #3 Harvesting. Answer these baseline statements and questions in your journal once you have completed the previous steps. I am___ I want___ I need___ What am I opening to? What am I closing to? Recycle this process whenever strong emotions emerge. Remember they arrive to give you important messages. Listen carefully and honor them with deeper listening. What is the emotions telling you? This is a cycle of rebirthing, releasing and powerful transformation. There may be laboring in the process of this birthing, but trust that something new is emerging. It will be worth your effort. Something is dying within you. Let it go and create space for the new. This May new Moon in Aries signals a fresh start, a new beginning and a process of opening to a brand new cycle. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac. Exalted Sun is here until mid month, while Mercury has just entered a new annual cycle as well. As the Moon empties, releases and darkens, it is signaling the shift towards a new phase of life- physically, mentally and emotionally. Bharani nakshatra is ruled by Yama, lord of death and king of dharma. He determines your karmas at the time of death and encourages self control, restraint and right action. Through alignment with dharma, Yama supports your afterlife and rebirth process. Those who go against Yama will receive the wrath of Natural Law. He judges, rules and enforces the Laws of Nature with unwavering fierceness. Only dharma can win over Yama. His judgement is based on your actions and service in this life. In the waxing cycle to come, you will be asked to let something die. Yama will ask you to rebirth, transform and start anew. You will not be able to do this without letting something go. This process of release will be more painful if you resist or refuse the release taking place. Accept the transformation and allow the changes to arrive. This is a powerful time to declare your powerful intentions for your dharmic path and purpose. Upgrade your actions, choices and behaviors in order to get new, more life supporting results. Clear old, mental programing and thought patterns keeping you stuck in lack and fear. The current transits are supporting an ego-identity shift and the release of very old, ancient structures. Your ability to achieve a positive shift will be determined by your willingness to show up and do the necessary work. Yama's offerings take effort, clarity, focus and a fierce focus on one's service to humanity. Mercury moves out of debilitation and through the tricky gandanta of Ashwini nakshatra just before the New Moon on May 4th. Mercury has been debilitated in Pisces on and off since the end of February. This has caused immense challenges with finances, creativity, imagination, communication and the mental body. If you are under the influence of Mercury, this cycle has likely been particularly challenging. Mercury moves to Aries on May 3rd, completing a year long transit around the zodiac. As this cycle closes, he crosses the threshold between Pisces (water) and Aries (fire), going through intense purification in the process. A cycle has closed. Endings and release are taking place. Make this finale conscious. There is a new beginning taking place with all things Mercury so make it intentional. What needs to be released, closed, grieved? What parts of the mind need your attention in order to start anew? Clean up the mental body and repattern old stories. Your mind and it's outdated programming need an upgrade. And so does your money. As Mercury enters Aries, he joins exalted Sun here for two weeks until Sun moves to Taurus. This combination can bring immense clarity, focus and determination. Set goals and achieve them. Clarify your direction, take action steps that align you with your passions and purpose. Don't miss this energy, but avoid burnout as well. The most auspicious day of the year is May 7th, Akshaya Tritiya. Both Sun and Moon will be exalted. It is said that only positive outcomes can emerge on this day, that there can be no harm. All actions will be fruitful and yield positive results. Luck, success and powerful results occur when you align with the strength of this day. Plan accordingly. This is a powerful day to take action steps towards your biggest desires. Nature will be ready to support you! Stay aligned with the transits and your dharmic path. Join my Embodied Dharma FB Group! Creative Ritual My Creative Rituals are intended to support your transformation and growth for the cycle to come. This is a time of deep silence and strong potential. It is the marriage celebration of Shiva and Shakti, a symbolic union of wholeness- when the absolute unmanifest, conjoins with the pulse of life force energy. Masculine and feminine merge and create life- and the ability to manifest becomes amplified. From this place of union, we can ignite the power of being, the power of life. Transformations abound right now- inner and outer. Are you paying attention to polarities in your life? What dualities are you aware of and what is needed for their integration? This is a powerful time for meditation and reciting the Mrityunjaya Mantra: oṁ tryambakaṁ yajāmahe sugandhiṁ puṣṭi-vardhanam ǀurvārukam-iva bandhanān mṛtyormukṣīya māmṛtāt ǁ Shivaratri supports planting seeds of potential through the depth of silence. Shiva as destroyer, is at one with this awakened state of creativity. His role is to support your collapse into concentrated, focused alignment with the harmony of existence- that which is pure consciousness, deep, unaltered silence and awakening. This is where your creativity resides, your ability to manifest, create and transform- over and over again. Through the transcendence, you can easily touch this silence in its pure form. Shiva reminds us to use this silence to release, simplify and transform. From a silent and awakened state, you can plant the seeds of life more intentionally and powerfully. Use your deep inner silence for stirring your creative desires. Next, the fertility festival of Holi, will activate your silent seeds, helping them become more fully awakened with the creative wisdom of Nature. What are you creating for your powerful life? What is your vision? Let your imagination move you into being. Create life! The March new Moon takes place at 09:04 am MT while transiting Aquarius and Purvabhadra nakshatra. This is the realm of the sky ruled by Ajaikapada, a form of Shiva standing on one foot. There is a strong need for balance and integration of opposing forces in this domain. Two realms are represented- both material and spiritual. The power of Rudra and the creative strength of Vishvakarma express themselves in this nakshatra. Restraint and tapas are necessary, while simultaneously great material wealth is possible. This constellations offers a foot in both worlds and those born with this constellation often have success with both the spiritual and material realms. Balancing the impossible is in fact possible under this constellation, though great strength is required. The symbol of this nakshatra is a burning funeral cot. Endings and release are taking place. Purification and death support deeper understandings of life and bring greater awareness to the wholeness of existence. In this waxing cycle, your strength will be required in order to balance opposing forces, integrate polarities, and harmonize inner conflicts. Dark and light require your equal attention. Are you holding both- shadow and light- equally? Material progress is possible in the days ahead, but attend to spiritual matters for deeper purpose. Burn away the excess and simplify all areas of your life. It's time to purify and release what has been feeling heavy and burdensome. It takes much less energy to be in right relationship with all parts of ourselves- rather than resist and avoid. Hold both your darkness and your light, honor all of your being. This is why your shadow is so important. As we enter this new lunar cycle, multiple changes are taking place in the cosmos. Mercury is debilitated in Pisces and goes retrograde on the 5th. Rahu and Ketu change signs for the next 1.5 years on March 7th, causing upheaval, change and new levels of resistance. The relationship with our karma is shifting and will bring vastly different results in the months ahead. Jupiter is at the edge of Scorpio right now, preparing for his unusual dance into Sagittarius before he retrogrades until this fall. Listen to my FB Live Class for more about the life changing transit of Rahu and Ketu. We are straddling the edge of major change and life may feel uncertain, vulnerable and tumultuous in the days ahead. Keep life as simple as possible and prune away any excess. Clean your life up and stop over-doing, over-giving, and over-being. Challenges will surface where we are being unconscious. Less is more. Creative Ritual Use this Creative Ritual for supporting integrating and harmonizing your polarities: 1) Identify the polarities at play within you and your life. Make two distinct lists. What are the challenges that you face right now? What is not working right now in your life? What are the resources in your life right now? What is working well for you right now? Name each category and see if you can identify the theme of each polarity that is arriving. 2) Create two images. One image is your challenge image. The other image is your resource image. Spend 10-20 minutes creating each image. Use craypas, paints, pens, collage or any medium that speaks to you. Title each image separately. Then ask each image to give you their message. If this image could speak, what would it say to you? 3) Harvest from each image. Answer these questions for each image separately. I am, I want, I need I sense, I feel, I Imagine, I express What have you harvested from this process? What does each part of you say? What does each part of you need? Deepen this process by using my Tapping Meditation for integrating polarities I help sensitive women become the leaders of their lives.
I am on a mission to help sensitive souls (like you) clarify your inner truth and inner wisdom. To connect with your powerful purpose and innate leadership skills. We need you now more than ever! Email me to see if I have any openings: [email protected] The January new Moon comes with a partial solar eclipse, opening a two week eclipse portal that will end on January 20th with a full lunar eclipse. This Sagittarius new Moon mirrors and magnifies the challenges taking place in this spiritual fire sign right now. Currently Sun and Mercury are in tight conjunction with the restrictive and oppressive Saturn energy- all transiting Sagittarius. Physical, spiritual and mental bodies are feeling the pressure and stress- causing fear, anxiety and forcing simplicity and pruning away of excess. As Moon transits Sagittarius and marks the emptying of the past cycle, she amplifies the intensity happening in the fiery, focused sign of Sagittarius which is often connected with dharmic pursuits. Are you on your dharmic path or off? Where are you feeling the pressure in your life? A reminder that wherever Saturn is putting pressure on you, he is asking for simplicity and alignment with natural cycles and rhythms. Where do you need to make some adjustments? There is no denying that this new year begins with layers of challenging planetary dynamics and the eclipse portal adds to the intensity. Eclipses always come in pairs. In between eclipses is a two week period of shadow work and challenges with our natal karma. This is a time period to be alert and aware of what challenges are surfacing and attend to release, transformation and liberation. Eclipses, and the cycle between eclipses, is not a time to start new projects or be reckless in actions and choices. These are spiritual time periods meant to support moksha and awakening- however often through intensity, upheaval and change. Individual themes for the eclipse cycle ahead can be seen from Sagittarius in your natal chart. Notice the house and themes that are offered from this part of your chart. These themes will be magnified and intensify as we move through the shadow work of this eclipse cycle. This new Moon occurs on the 5th at 18:27 MT with a partial solar eclipse beginning at 16:34 MT. The eclipse will end at 20:48 MT, while the maximum eclipse will be at 18:41 MT. This eclipse will not be visible for North America, only for northeast Asia. From a Vedic perspective, it is not advised to be outside during an eclipse or to look directly at the eclipse. Wear a head covering if you have to be outside so you don't absorb the shadow. Ideally, this is a time for spiritual practices such as meditation, chanting and fasting. Set intentions and honor the sensitivity of this time. It is also widely recognized that during and between eclipses, starting new endeavors will not bring positive results. No new projects, relationships or activities should start in the eclipse portal. Notice what needs are arriving, then take action after the eclipse portal closes. Best to lay low, attend to spiritual pursuits, get extra rest and work with your inner shadow very consciously during this cycle. In the waxing cycle ahead, focus on your path and purpose. Sagittarius loves a one-pointed focus that has value, insight, spiritual purpose and powerful intentions for the greater good. Are you in alignment with your higher purpose or playing small and feeling insignificant? It's time to step up and play bigger- especially on the level of spirit. Align, awaken and co-create with nature, the ancestors and the spiritual realms. Allow spiritual wisdom and insights to influence you. Material pursuits and ego driven actions won't be supported right now. If you're having challenges and progress feels slow, it's time to make some adjustments. Spiritual and dharmic endeavors will be supported at this time but materialistic desires won't be. New Moon in PurvaAshada nakshatra welcomes transformation in the body and allows the inner waters to purify, release and clarify. Movement, yoga, dance, creativity and pleasurable activities will allow the emotional body to move from stagnation to fluidity. Are you supporting your emotional body intelligence or bypassing it? Emotions are connected to your inner waters. This is also your connection to creativity, nourishment, life force energy and wealth on all levels of life. Apas is the ruling deity of the constellation PurvaAshada. As the goddess of water, she supports purification on every level of life- either through gentleness or force. Water can be soft, misty rain, or forceful waves and stormy hurricanes. She can be immense flooding or a trickling stream. Without water, however, there is no life. Consider what needs purification and cleansing in your life. Where are you feeling the stagnation of your inner waters? How can you support the water of life to flow more freely in your body and life? Wondering what to expect in 2019? Read my new year horoscopes! This Leo new Moon occurs at 12:02 am MT while Moon is in Purvaphalguni nakshatra. As the Moon waxes and expands in the cycle ahead, comforts, nourishment and relationships come to the forefront. Sun and Moon both transit Purvaphalguni nakshatra in Sidereal Leo at the time of the new Moon, receiving gaze from Mars. Mercury is also transiting Leo and currently in Magha nakshatra. The gaze from Mars empowers Sun, Moon and Mercury, while clarifying and strengthening desires and action steps. Leo is ruled by the Sun and notorious for bold expression. With Sun in its own sign right now, we may be feeling a surge in power, determination and strength. Put your focus into action, awaken goals and ask for what you need. The New Moon in Leo and Purvaphalguni invites increased creativity and sensuality to the cycle ahead. There is strong desire, empowerment and attention to relationships surfacing. Clear away emotional debris and make space for gains and advancements in your feeling center, the heart. As you clarify goals and intentions, make sure you are also being diligent with the action steps necessary to accomplish them. Watch for overdoing, pushing and forcing as well as imbalance with action and rest. Allow for leisure, increased pleasure, nourishment and ease but be mindful of overindulgence. Cravings are rooted in the shadow. What darkness is not being attended to with honesty and courage? Where can you let go and find more surrender? Where are you pushing and forcing, creating imbalance and incongruence? Purvaphalguni nakshatra is ruled by Bhaga, the god of pleasure, comforts and commodities. He gives excess, abundance and juiciness. Sensuality and sexuality come naturally as a result of his gifts and influence. Manifestation is enlivened with his life force energy. This constellation is like the nectar that bees flock to, expressing a spring-like quality with plenty of blossoming and fruiting. The sap is flowing, the bees are buzzing and the flowers are blooming! Can you feel it? Beauty comes alive within this portion of the sky and potential is dawning. Relationships are energized and strengthened with the influences of this constellation. Plant your seeds of desire, expand your dreams and focus on the bigger picture. Maybe it's time to ask for what you really want and need? Where are you receiving less than what you deserve? What is keeping you from rising and growing? Where are you resisting your power and greater purpose? This cycle reminds us: Don't settle for less than the best. Ask Nature to support your clarity and vision. Think bigger and be clear about your desires. Get focused and expand your reach. Use creative resources to awaken your life force energy. Make art! Dance and sing! Celebrate yourself! Meet new people, start new relationships, enliven the ones you already have. Allow more sensuality and sexuality into your life and let your life force energy flow more fully. Spend time receiving and remember your gratitude. Where do you feel abundant already? Where do you need more? Remember that getting the support you need and being able to receive, will strengthen your results. We don't succeed alone- ever! Gather who and what you need for growth. Creative Ritual Create A Life of Thriving With These Five Steps: Step #1 Write a list of all the things you are grateful for. List the people, experiences and parts of your life that truly make you feel glad to be alive. Are you grateful for your health? Your children? Your garden? Your amazing clients? Put it on the list! Step #2 As you look at your gratitude list, pause and be still. Where do you feel the sensation of gratitude in your body? Can you feel it rising up from your belly or spreading across your chest? Try to locate the sensation and clearly identify it. Use this physical body feeling as a tuning fork. Keep coming back to this sensation as a way to touch in with the feeling of thriving and nourishment. More of that please! This is what you want to create more of in your life! Step #3 Create an image of this feeling of gratitude and the sensation of nourishment it brings into your body. Use craypas, paints, collage, pen and ink or any other medium that inspires you. Use colors, textures and shapes to create your image. Take 20+ minutes to create your image then give it a title. Step #4 Move your image. Use your image to inspire a movement exploration. Let your body move in response to your nourishment image with an intention of "moving with your feelings of nourishment". What sensations emerge for you during your dance? What awareness? Allow 5 to 10 minutes for this movement exploration. Step #5 Harvest in your journal some of your key findings from this process. Answer these statements: I sense___ I feel____ I imagine____ Bonus Step: Pick a few people to share your gratitude with. The best way to amplify this feeling is to share it with others! Use post it notes for a quick thank you or get more elaborate and write out a love note to someone special. Write a sweet message of gratitude to your child or give your neighbor a friendly mailbox surprise. I call myself the Dharma Midwife. I am on a mission to help sensitive souls connect with their inner truth and inner wisdom. To connect with purpose and dharma. We need you now more than ever! Every week I offer two *free* dharma coaching sessions to action takers who are ready for deep life change. Is this you?! Send me a message to see if I have any openings: [email protected] The July New Moon arrives late on Thursday evening the 12th at 20:49 MT, while Moon is transiting sidereal Gemini and Punarvasu nakshatra. This new Moon is unique in that it opens the gates of eclipse season- which will conclude on August 11th with the New Moon in Cancer and a partial Solar Eclipse. Eclipse Portal Wisdom Three eclipses take place over the span of a month, occurring back to back. The July New Moon in Gemini arrives with a Partial Solar Eclipse, marking the opening of this shadowed portal. The Full Moon in Capricorn on July 27th takes place with a full Lunar Eclipse. Usually, eclipses come in pairs, however this eclipse cycle brings a third eclipse with the new Moon in Cancer on August 11th. A partial Solar Eclipse closes the portal and will support a rich harvest with depth and insights. There is an interesting theme with this eclipse portal. The Gemini new Moon in Punarvasu Nakshatra creates an opening for deeper nourishment to be confronted. What is missing in your support team? Where are you feeling depleted or malnourished? This new Moon will provoke challenges with disconnection to rise to the surface. The desire to be whole, more balanced and unified within self and life increases. Mid eclipse cycle, the full Moon in Capricorn and Sravana nakshatra will ask you to refine and take steps towards dharma- that which sustains and supports you and your inner awareness. The deconstruction of old patterns and belief systems that are standing in your way must be allowed to crumble and release. You will feel the fullness of what does not serve you. What do you want to replace this old, outmoded way of being? What resources and behaviors can support more harmony, ease and gentleness in your life? Closing this eclipse portal will be a partial solar eclipse and a new Moon in Cancer and Ashlesha Nakshatra. If you've been hiding behind false pretenses, this will be a time of unmasking and clarifying the changes that must take place. This particular closure will force you to identify your trust issues- inner and outer. Where are you hiding behind ego and avoiding your deeper knowing? In what ways are you pretending to feel safe, without actually acknowledging your fears? You may remember that the first solar eclipse of the year on January 31st was also in Ashlesha nakshatra. What did you learn and confront in the previous eclipse cycle? This is an opportunity for you to retrace your steps and revisit any unfinished business with Sarpa, the serpent of transformation. This eclipse cycle is an opportunity to spiral up and awaken from your slumber! Step into your power by identifying and confronting your shadows, illusions and stories. There is great potential in the coming month to release the past, the undigested thoughts and stories clogging your body wisdom. As you clear and let go of these shadowed parts, there is space for moving forward in more empowered, courageous ways. First, you must be willing to awaken from your negligence, laziness and illusion. The more courage you step into, the more you will succeed! Remember that solar eclipses awaken masculine parts of ourselves and help us confront ego based iterations of self, ideologies and belief systems. There will be deconstruction and forced awareness rising to the surface. The purpose of lunar eclipses is to support the confrontation of the shadowed feminine, identifying emotional body blockages and disconnections within receptivity. Solar and lunar eclipses always come in pairs, thus supporting confrontation and release of both masculine and feminine, the ultimate polarities of existence. The result of confronting the shadow is to create more conscious awareness of our unconscious self. With more consciousness, the grip of these illusions lessens, allowing us to create new possibilities- and ultimately make vastly different choices. As we enter this eclipse portal, notice the themes and challenges you have been confronting recently. What is intensifying? What is forcing you to look? What stories, experiences and relationships are encouraging you to look more closely? Continue to dig in and lean closer. Ask for support, resources and guidance so you aren't walking alone. The July Partial Solar Eclipse occurs with the new Moon on July 12th. The eclipse starts on at 19:48 MT and will end July 12th at 22:13 MT, with the maximum portion of the eclipse occurring at 21:01 MT. July New Moon Wisdom The July new Moon in Gemini and Punarvasu nakshatra awakens the desire for universality, new resources and support. Ruling deity, Aditi, is often referred to as the "mother of all goodness". She birthed 33 Devas. Of these children, 12 were Adityas- powerful allies for resources, material support, wisdom and guidance. She is the expression of expanded awareness, the mother in all things, the foundation of the universe and nonduality. She awakens and supports the awareness of oneness, non-difference, sama or the equinamity of the mind. Aditi gave birth to Vishnu himself, the ultimate sustaining force that upholds dharma. The bounty and blessings of Aditi will awaken and expand possibilities and potential for you. She is limitless, formless, unbounded, non-dual abundance that is the foundation for all nourishment in this life. Where are you in right relationship with the nourishment in your life? What is feeling supportive, nourishing and bountiful? Where are you disconnected or resisting nourishment, abundance and support? What resources and guidance are missing on your path? Use this new Moon to crack open the parts of you in lack and malnourishment. Attend to your grief and emotional body. Honor and acknowledge the needs that are not being met in your life and your relationships. Dig deeper into your struggle and hardship. Does it really have to be so hard? Where are you making it harder than it needs to be? Only when you are truly willing to face your shadow and honor its gifts, will you be able to make space for and allow new possibilities to arrive. Ask for what you need and gather the resources and support that will make it possible. You Are Invited!! When was the last time you honored the losses in your life? The losses in your lineage? It's a powerful time to confront the challenges and struggles you are facing- with honesty and authenticity. As you move closer to what isn't working, you can then get clear on what you really want and need, and what action steps must be taken. 1) In your journal, identify and confront your challenges: What challenges are you facing? What is keeping you from fully aligning with your path, purpose and dharma? Next, create an image of the challenges you face- using craypas, paints, pencils, collage, or any medium that you feel aligned with. Spend 10- 20 minutes creating this challenge image. How do your challenges feel? Frustrating, isolating, enraged, sad, etc? Bring these feelings into your image using color, texture and shapes. Give your image a title. If your image could speak, what would it say? 2) After you write down your challenges, get clear on where you want to go. Next, write down your goals and vision for your fully empowered life. Get clear on your desires. Where would you like to be six months from now? Now create an image of your fully empowered, activated path and purpose- using craypas, paints, pencils, collage or any other medium you feel aligned to work with. How does it feel to fully activate your soul's purpose? What are you doing? How are you showing up in your life, for others, for your self? Bring these feelings into your image using color, texture and shapes. Give your image a title. If your image could speak, what would it say? 3) Finally, use my tapping meditation for empowerment. Clear away the blockages holding you back so you can activate and align with a deeper sense of power and purpose. Take Action Now I call myself the Dharma Midwife. New moon is June 13th at 13:44 MT. Sun and Moon in Taurus receive gaze from the restructuring planet, Ketu. The emotional body will be feeling changes and release during and after the new Moon. Make good use of your emotional body wisdom in the coming weeks and honor the need for change. What needs to be released in order to make space for your deepest nourishment? Use the coming waxing cycle to pull up the weeds in your heart and clear the rubble from your emotional body. There is some very old grief that needs to be healed and released so you will have room for more of what you need and want. Clear, release, purge and let go. Align with your highest truth and deepest intentions. Make sure your actions support and honor your inner wisdom. Seek dharma, right action and align with your life path and purpose. There will be more resources and support in this cycle to help you clarify your dharmic path. Are you paying attention? Stay receptive to possible opportunities and guidance to help you get your needs met in new ways. The coming waxing cycle is influenced by the qualities of Mrigarshirsha, the constellation of Soma, a personification of the Moon, Chandra. This nakshatra is symbolized by the antlers of a deer, always growing, branching and out changing. Deer antlers have traditionally be used medicinally as well as for an aphrodisiac. Its nourishing qualities relate to Soma, the divine immortal nectar of the gods. Thus Mrigashirsha brings the possibility for deep nourishment, but only as a result of change, branching out and seeking new resources. Reach for more. Ask for what you really need. Become what you want to be. Allow yourself to change and grow. Move towards the nourishment. Where are you playing small and cutting yourself short? What needs to change so you can actually get what you need? What nourishment is missing from your life? Gather resources and support to help you clarify your path. Start deserving and receiving! There is a tight conjunction of Exalted Mars and Ketu occurring in Capricorn right now and into the next few weeks. Mars and Ketu will be in exact degrees on June 13th. There is a lot of heat and power in earthy Capricorn right now. Volcanoes are likely. Mars is the warrior planet and Ketu brings restructuring. Expect sudden changes and unexpected events. Explosive actions, emotions and choices can happen. Stay grounded, be methodical and avoid rash decisions and choices. Notice if you are pushing or forcing outcomes. Slow and steady wins the race- and prevents burns. Channel this powerful energy into positive, life supportive change. Align your action steps with your dharmic path and that which sustains and supports. Venus moves to Cancer on June 8th, joining Rahu here. The fiery combination of exalted Mars and Ketu give their direct gaze. Relationships feel the heat, pressure and restructuring. Feelings intensify and the emotional body may feel confused and challenged by uncertainty. Rahu brings questions to the surface as well as vagary. Seek emotional body clarity and keep your inner waters moving and purified. Release hurt, pain and grief safely. You will be asked to deepen your self inquiry. What do you need in order to be nourished- in relationships, Home and heart. Are you moving towards the nourishment? Or away from it?! Watch for overly rajasic tendencies in the coming days and weeks. The heat is on and the changes may be swift. With Saturn now back in Mula nakshatra, restructuring, release and pulling up weeds is occurring on a core structural level. You may feel the ground moving beneath you. Seek stability, support and grounding. Keep life as simple as possible and don't over complicate things. Use this time to move closer to your goals and gain momentum for your path and purpose. Clarify and focus your direction. Ask yourself: how bad does it have to get before I make life supportive changes? Creative Ritual1) Identify the strongest emotion you are feeling right now. If you could find this emotion living somewhere in your body, where would it be? Lean in closer. Notice the sensations you feel with this emotion in the body. 2) As you lean into this emotion living in the body, notice if it has a color, shape, or texture. If this emotion had a sound, what would it be? Let this sound out of the body until you feel complete. 3) If this emotion in the body could share a message with you, what would it say? What does it need? 4) Create an image of this emotion in your body, using craypas, paints, collage, or any other medium that inspires you. Spend at least 20 minutes on this image- until it feels complete. Give it a title. 5) Spend some time with your image and let it speak to you. If your image could share a message with you, what would it say? Let is respond to these statements: I am, I want, I need What have you harvested from the wisdom of your emotional body? I am on a mission to help sensitive souls connect with their inner truth and inner wisdom. To connect with purpose and dharma. We need you now more than ever!

Email me to see if I have any openings [email protected] Just after Venus shifts into Gemini, the Sun arrives in Taurus for the coming month. The May new Moon arrives on the 15th at 05:48 am MT with Sun and Moon newly entering sidereal Taurus. Both Sun and Moon are positioned at less than a degree during the new Moon. Considered sandhi, in the netherworlds between signs, masculine and feminine are extra sensitive in the coming days. There is vulnerability at the time of the New Moon and throughout the waxing cycle, however there is also great spiritual insight available as well. A sense of beginning and possibility arrives. Open to something new and linger in the liminal. What are you calling in? Who and what are you inviting into your life? Imagine, manifest and create! Krittika nakshatra is on the horizon at the time of the new Moon and both Sun and Moon transit Krittika nakshatra as well. This constellation cuts, severs and sharply removes excess. Ketu gives his drishti to the Sun and Moon, promoting sudden release, loss and restructuring. Moon will be exalted in Taurus, at its most expansive degrees and in his favorite sign, at the time of the empty Moon. Emotions may feel bigger than normal, though there is also great potential to clear and release stagnant emotions, feelings and grief. Support the release process now and in the coming waxing cycle. Krittika nakshatra is ruled by the fire god, Agni. He burns, transforms and supports the alchemy of change. Healing is created through the transformation process and the space that is created through release. What space are you creating in your life? What new nourishment do you need? How are you attending to the space that is being created right now? In order to create the new, you will be asked to clear, cut and sever ties with the past. Lower vibrations and energies need to be lifted. Cut, clear and delete old programming and mental body stories. Let go of relationships and energies holding you back. Give yourself an upgrade and ask for more. Sudden insights and awakening will be possible during the new Moon and in the coming cycle. Creating time and space for listening to your inner wisdom is essential in order to gather the insights coming forth. What is holding you back from saying yes to more of what you need? What is changing and transforming within you and your life? This is a precious time to intentionally create space for more nourishment, ease and grace in your life. Be clear with what you need and ask for gentleness. Acknowledge what must be released and cut in order to get what you truly need and deserve. Don't be afraid to be radical in your desires and your cord cutting. Creative Ritual 1) Using craypas, paints or pencils, create an image of your nourishment. What does nourishment feel like for you? Create an image that expresses this feeling using colors, textures and shapes. Allow 20 minutes at minimum for this nourishment image. Title your image. 2) Use your image to inspire a movement exploration. Let your body move in response to your nourishment image with an intention of "moving with your feelings of nourishment". What sensations emerge for you during your dance? What awareness? Allow 5 to 10 minutes for this movement exploration. I encourage you to extend this time frame as you recycle this process. 3) Harvesting. In your journal answer these questions: I am, I want, I need, I sense, I feel, I imagine. What deeply nourishes me? What no longer nourishes me? Where do I feel support in my life? Where do I need more support? What am I opening to? What am I closing to? I am on a mission to help sensitive souls connect with their inner truth and inner wisdom. To connect with purpose and dharma. We need you now more than ever! Every week I offer two *free* dharma coaching sessions to action takers who are ready for deep life change. Is this you?! The Vedic New Year begins on Friday April 13th at 20:19 MT as Sun arrives in Aries- though officially the start of the New Year comes with the New Moon on Sunday. As Sun and Moon begin anew, a fresh start arrives for the masculine and feminine within. Sun completes a year long transit through the zodiac and steps into Aries on Friday, jump starting the beginning of a new cycle. Expect more energy, strength and precision in the coming weeks. Use your power and clarity wisely and take life supporting action steps. Purify and clean up diet, behaviors and choices that are keeping you disempowered. Watch for anger and rage. What boundaries need to be clarified in order to honor your power more fully? Sidereal New Moon in Aries on Sunday April 15th jump starts the Vedic New Year, followed by the most auspicious day of the year Akshaya Tritiya on the 18th. On this day, Sun and Moon are both exalted, bringing energy, power and strength to all actions. This planetary alignment happens once per year. Get new results and make more empowered choices! Awaken the light within. The new Moon is in Ashwini nakshatra, the domain of the Ashwini-Kumara twins. Ayurvedic experts, the Kumara twins support healing, transformation and awakening through the creative and healing arts. The symbol of this constellation is a horse's head, which expresses the strength and power possible within this portion of the sky. The influence of this nakshatra awakens the immense vitality and wisdom of the horse. Horses create an antivenom that heals snake bites, symbolizing their power to fight poison- especially physically. What poisons need to be healed and released within? What purification and clarity does your body need? What poisons are you ready to eradicate from your life? Clear the body of the past and make space for the new. Keep the gut clear and support the digestion of the mental body. In the cycle ahead, relationships, support and stability are the primary focus. Seek new balance and integration between self and other. Clean up relationship messes within and attend to the relationship with self. Where are you burning yourself out? Who and what are you allowing to burn up your life force energy? What behaviors, choices and actions are keeping you less than vital? Where do you need to reconnect within your body in order for more strength, support and stability within? The process of integration, alignment and gathering support will require that you retrace your steps and cover old ground. Relationships will ask you to revisit and recalibrate in order for you to gather the insights and wisdom you seek. Build a solid support system by getting clear on what you need and reaching out for the resources, guidance and team members you need. There are new answers arriving. Create space for the clarity and be specific about your desires. You will be asked to restructure your heart and find a new way of relating. Learn to love with boundaries and honor your sacred inner temple above all. Creative Ritual What does empowerment feel like?
