Just after Venus shifts into Gemini, the Sun arrives in Taurus for the coming month. The May new Moon arrives on the 15th at 05:48 am MT with Sun and Moon newly entering sidereal Taurus. Both Sun and Moon are positioned at less than a degree during the new Moon. Considered sandhi, in the netherworlds between signs, masculine and feminine are extra sensitive in the coming days. There is vulnerability at the time of the New Moon and throughout the waxing cycle, however there is also great spiritual insight available as well. A sense of beginning and possibility arrives. Open to something new and linger in the liminal. What are you calling in? Who and what are you inviting into your life? Imagine, manifest and create! Krittika nakshatra is on the horizon at the time of the new Moon and both Sun and Moon transit Krittika nakshatra as well. This constellation cuts, severs and sharply removes excess. Ketu gives his drishti to the Sun and Moon, promoting sudden release, loss and restructuring. Moon will be exalted in Taurus, at its most expansive degrees and in his favorite sign, at the time of the empty Moon. Emotions may feel bigger than normal, though there is also great potential to clear and release stagnant emotions, feelings and grief. Support the release process now and in the coming waxing cycle. Krittika nakshatra is ruled by the fire god, Agni. He burns, transforms and supports the alchemy of change. Healing is created through the transformation process and the space that is created through release. What space are you creating in your life? What new nourishment do you need? How are you attending to the space that is being created right now? In order to create the new, you will be asked to clear, cut and sever ties with the past. Lower vibrations and energies need to be lifted. Cut, clear and delete old programming and mental body stories. Let go of relationships and energies holding you back. Give yourself an upgrade and ask for more. Sudden insights and awakening will be possible during the new Moon and in the coming cycle. Creating time and space for listening to your inner wisdom is essential in order to gather the insights coming forth. What is holding you back from saying yes to more of what you need? What is changing and transforming within you and your life? This is a precious time to intentionally create space for more nourishment, ease and grace in your life. Be clear with what you need and ask for gentleness. Acknowledge what must be released and cut in order to get what you truly need and deserve. Don't be afraid to be radical in your desires and your cord cutting. Creative Ritual 1) Using craypas, paints or pencils, create an image of your nourishment. What does nourishment feel like for you? Create an image that expresses this feeling using colors, textures and shapes. Allow 20 minutes at minimum for this nourishment image. Title your image. 2) Use your image to inspire a movement exploration. Let your body move in response to your nourishment image with an intention of "moving with your feelings of nourishment". What sensations emerge for you during your dance? What awareness? Allow 5 to 10 minutes for this movement exploration. I encourage you to extend this time frame as you recycle this process. 3) Harvesting. In your journal answer these questions: I am, I want, I need, I sense, I feel, I imagine. What deeply nourishes me? What no longer nourishes me? Where do I feel support in my life? Where do I need more support? What am I opening to? What am I closing to? I am on a mission to help sensitive souls connect with their inner truth and inner wisdom. To connect with purpose and dharma. We need you now more than ever! Every week I offer two *free* dharma coaching sessions to action takers who are ready for deep life change. Is this you?! Email me to see if I have any openings [email protected]
