The October full Moon on the 15th stirs a remarkable vulnerability with Moon in a very delicate gap point between Pisces and Aries. At 22:23 MDT, the fullness of the Moon arrives at the edge of Pisces, just past 29 degrees. The portal between endings and beginnings is activated, awake, alive. Pure vulnerability is provoked at this time, while simultaneously ushering in mystical and spiritual power. The Pisces/Aries gandanta (gap) is particularly challenging as Moon shifts from water into fire, release and liberation into hope and possibility. There can be confusion and uncertainty about moving forward as well grief through loss. Trust that this is a cycle of renewal. Pisces is also connected to the ancestors and endings, while Aries brings a young, new energy with it. This full Moon provokes the energy of closure and awakening to the new. What are you opening to? What are you closing to? Moon will be transiting Revati nakshatra at the time of the Full Moon, the final lunar constellation of the zodiac. Pushan rules this portion of the sky, bringing fruitful journeys and resources for your travels. Revati nakshatra is a Mrdu constellation- soft, mild and tender. It can be used for auspicious beginnings and ceremonies. As an Aditya (one who brings support) Pushan is known to provide nourishment and he does so through resources. He protects your path and will provide support for your journey- whether earthly or astral. At the time of the full Moon, Ardra nakshatra is on the eastern horizon, this intensifies the power awakened in the cycle to come. Strength through emotion activates, as Rudra, the storm god, rules this constellation. As Moon transits Pisces during the full Moon, Mars gives his gaze, as does Jupiter, Sun and Mercury. Emotions are enlivened through power and wisdom. The waning cycle will bring depth to the heart and awakening through the mental and emotional body levels. It's a time of clearing and cleaning, purging and release. As you create more space in your heart, more light will come. Use the wisdom arriving to support your heart awakening process. Allow yourself to receive guidance and support for this process. Ask your ancestors to help you release and remove the old, toxic debris in your heart- all that is keeping you from receiving the nourishment you seek. Let your grief move through in conscious ways, clearing and cleaning your heart space, awakening your needs and allowing more receptivity to arrive. This is a time of healing relationships. Healing yourself in relationship to others and healing yourself in relationship to self. There will be deep seated, old and stagnant grief moving through you in the cycle to come- especially connected to relationship. Allow it to be a balm of awakening, softening and letting go. As you clear and clean the pain from your bodies, move towards gratitude, loving kindness and compassion. Say yes to nourishment and emotions that honor your tenderness, Lean into your vulnerability and awaken your deeper power. This will help you find the root of your true empowerment. Creative Ritual + Tapping Meditation Use this two part process to clear, release and transform old, stagnant mental and emotional body energies into space, opening and possibility. Start with the Tapping Meditation to clear big emotions and then move into the Creative Ritual in order to deepen your creation process and manifest more love, gratitude and nourishment into your life. Share your comments, questions and experiences below! Step 1 Use this podcast as you tap through these points: Karate chop point (side of the hand). Crown of the head. Eyebrow point (above the eye). Side of the eye. Under the eye. Under the nose. Chin point (crease of the chin). Throat point (collar bone/throat chakra). Heart point (center of chest). Stomach point (above the navel). Side body (nipple line at side of chest). Tap six to ten times on each point and just keep cycling through the points. Repeat the phrases I use aloud. Notice any thoughts, stories, memories or emotions that emerge as you tap. These are important pieces to return to, do more tapping on, as a way to clear blockages. As always, if the words I use don't work for you, change them to support your process more fully. Part 2 1) Using craypas, paints or pencils, create an image of the space you've created through this tapping meditation. What does this "space" within you feel like? Create an image that expresses this feeling using colors, textures and shapes. Allow 10- 20 minutes at minimum for image. Title your image. 2) Use your image to inspire a movement exploration. Let your body move in response to your "space" image with an intention of creating more inner awareness. What sensations emerge for you during your dance? What messages? Allow 5 to 10 minutes for this movement exploration. I encourage you to extend this time frame as you recycle this process. 3) Harvesting. In your journal answer these questions: I am, I want, I need, I sense, I feel, I imagine. What deeply nourishes me? What no longer nourishes me? Where do I feel support in my life? Where do I need more support? What am I opening to? What am I closing to? Did you miss my *free* Class? Use this resource to navigate Grief, Loss and Big Emotions. Listen Now
