This Week's Intention: Part of you is ready to awaken, the other part of you is resisting. Part of you is moving forward, while the rest of you is moving in reverse. Where are you in conflict with opening and closing? Seek to unite these opposing forces within. The week begins with a debilitated Moon sandwiched in between retrograde Saturn and Mars. This puts pressure on the emotional body and stirs conflicting feelings. Transformation is afoot. Can you feel it? By the end of the week there will be four of the nine planets in retrograde motion (six, counting the always retrograde nodes, Rahu and Ketu). Returns are inevitable. Wherever transiting Jupiter, Saturn, Mars and Mercury are moving through your personal jyotish chart, you can expect returns in these areas of your life. Themes surface of inner transformation, personal power and sense of self worth. Where are you saying yes within? Where are you saying no? Look for these conflict zones within your mental, emotional, physical and spiritual bodies. Monday, April 25th Moon in 4th tithi Chaturthi Moon continues through Anuradha nakshatra until midmorning when it shifts into Jyeshtha nakshatra. Moon is neatly sandwiched in between two challenging planets- Mars and Saturn- both retrograde. There is pressure, heat and conflict being provoked. Saturn and Mars represent opposing forces, while Scorpio increases the symbol of polarities and seeking transformation. The mental body will be your most potent resource for change today. How are the inner conflicts keeping you locked in old programming, stories and limiting beliefs? How do they zap you of your power, focus, clarity and ease? Seek harmony with these extremes, the yes and the no. What do they really need for deep surrender? As Moon shifts to the other side of Saturn early evening and out of the intense conjunction of being in-between both Mars and Saturn, some relief will be felt. Notice your feelings change late evening and invite in a new wave of possibility. Tuesday, April 26th Moon in 5th tithi Panchami Today may feel like a chaos day as Moon shifts into Sagittarius and Mula nakshatra mid morning. Retrograde Jupiter and Rahu give their gaze. Chaos gives you direct access to your polarities, the energies that are stirred when opposing forces collide. Ruling deity Nirrti purposely works with chaos as a means of keepoing you from your dharmic path. Her darkness breeds adharma, or lack of dharma, which is why she's considered a Rakshasi, a female demon. Your lack of clarity is Nirrti, as well as your invitation to chaos and overwhelm, stress and the shadow. The solution is dissolving the conflicts within, finding unity, harmony, yoga. Take extra time today for sacred pause, deep listening, meditation, honoring your needs and finding creative solutions. Don't feed the darkness, honor it and set yourself free. Integrate dark and light forces within. Wednesday, April 27th Moon in 6th tithi Sashti Late morning, Moon shifts to Purvashada nakshatra and the strength of Apas arrives with clearing, purification and cleansing. Her watery wisdom is not always gentle, but insures change and transformation by default. Ruled by Venus, this nakshatra will invite issues with power, sense of self, and a certain stubborn tenacity with it. Where are you being too rigid? Where do you need to surrender to the flow more? These polarities are at play and magnifying the need for integration. Can you find the middle of yes and no? Find the places within your mind that are showing mirroring your own rigidity and resistance. Allow the softening, the loosening of what is gripping you. Email Me For Details: [email protected] Thursday, April 28th Moon in 7th tithi Saptami As Moon shifts to the latter half of the Ashada constellation, Uttarashada, late morning, the Sun's energy takes over. Whereas yesterday a Venus quality was offered, today has a different tone. Sun is currently exalted and conjunct its enemy, Venus, as well as Mercury, who is at the edge of Aries. The expression of the Sun is hot and will bring heat to feelings, relationships, money and the mental body, while provoking its clear agenda. The masculine nature of the Sun is in direct conflict with the watery, feminine expression of Venus, while Mercury (the mind) follows the orders of its king directly. The Vishvadevas preside over this nakshatra, requesting right action, integrity and alignment with the Laws of Nature on multiple levels of life. Today may have strong flavors of right and wrong arriving. Your job is to seek the middle ground. Notice where you tend to stay in black and white. Find the gray and linger. Late afternoon, Moon moves to earthy Capricorn, receiving gaze from Saturn directly. The emotional body is extra sensitive and will request stability and support. Get physical and move the emotions before they get stuck in a lingering mood. Friday, April 29th Moon in 8th tithi Ashtami Moon moves through Capricorn with Saturn's gaze. The coming days will require structure, support, timeliness and consistent action steps in order to accomplish or achieve. Working with the needs of the physical body and balancing rest and activity will be essential. The emotional body may be depressed, agitated or extra porous, so honor the needs of your watery wisdom with attentiveness. Early morning, Moon moves through the sacred portal and 28th nakshatra, Abhijit. This is considered a special junction point with specific spiritual connections. Use your morning for spiritual practices, deep listening, and spiritual body presence. As Moon shifts into Vishnu's domain, Sravana nakshatra, just before noon, a certain connection to expansion arrives. Vishnu and akasha (space) exist everywhere, bringing dharma, truth (sattya) and powerful wisdom with him. Attend to you sacred steps today. Honor your path with devotion, commitment and attend to your inner wisdom. Align with spirit today and ask for extra support and clarity. Saturday, April 30th Moon in 9th tithi Navami Late morning, Moon shifts to Dhanishta nakshatra, the domain of the Vasu Devas, or the light bearers. They bring light, awareness, truth and clarity, while supporting manifestation on the material plane. The Vasu Devas originated from jyoti, light, and therefor are the originators of Jyotish. There is a strong desire to achieve and create with this nakshatra and as the ruling planet Mars expresses, this is not an idle star. Use your time wisely today. Notice where you are stuck, restricted, frozen and resistant to creating change in your powerful life. Look for the conflicts within you between yes and no. What does the "no" need? Lean in and listen, let the tension and pressure dissolve and release. Late evening, Moon shifts to Aquarius, joining Ketu here. Retrograde Jupiter and Rahu give their direct gaze, as does Mars. The emotional body may feel extra heat and pressure in order to expand in the coming days. Soften your steps and lean in closer, rather than pushing or forcing outcomes. Sunday, May 1st Moon in 10th tithi Dashami Moon continues in Dhanishta until late morning, shifting to Satabisha around 10:30. Varuna's nakshatra brings a stern and punishing gaze to all. He has a certain agenda, one that forces order, restriction, "right" and "wrong". Disobeying his laws will bring afflictions to health and well-being. He sees everything and nothing gets past him. Today it is necessary to follow his orders, align with Natural Laws and cycles. Eat on time, rest on time, eat nourishing foods and balance rest and activity. Moon's conjunction with Ketu will insist that you simplify and cut out anything that brings disconnection or disassociation to your being. Keep it simple, get embodied, go for nourishment. Release and transform. Monday, May 2nd Moon in 11th tithi Ekadashi The week begins with Moon in close conjunction with Ketu, moving through Aquarius and Purvabhadra Nakshatra. Duality is strong today, yet there is great possibility for awakening the inner conflicts very consciously as a result. Aquarius exemplifies two paths, opposing forces- opens and closes. Ruling deity Ajaikapada strengthens the polarity dance with his "foot in two worlds" expression. He begins the release and transformation process that the latter half of this constellation, finishes off. Open the door of your awakening process. Notice where you are stepping forward and where you seem to be stepping backwards. Where is the tension between opening and closing? * All timing is in Mountain Daylight Time- one hour ahead of Pacific Time, one hour behind Central Time and two hours behind Eastern Time.
