The March Full Moon occurs on the 20th at 19:42 MDT while Moon transits Uttaraphalguni and sidereal Virgo. This Full Moon coincides with the Vedic fertility festival of Holi, enlivening vitality, life force energy and creativity. Uttaraphalguni is a constellation that correlates to the ancestors. It gives powerful, creative life force energy and resources that support and sustain lineage. Aryaman rules this portion of the sky, offering resources like love, marriage, family, children, and that which perpetuates the ancestral line. Life force energy is enlivened here, which brings to life ones desires and helps them arrive into manifest form. What seeds are you planting right now? Rahu and Ketu have now changed signs for the next 1.5 years, causing massive shifts in our karma. The Vedic celebration of Holi, often roughly coincides with the vernal equinox and the arrival of spring (for the Northern Hemisphere and fall for the Southern Hemisphere). The Equinox arrives on March 20th this year with Holi the next day. Holi is a Vedic fertility celebration which sparks immense creative life force energy. Potential, possibility and creative power are enlivening. Step into your Divine Feminine power! Ask your ancestors to guide you with the process of creating and manifesting your desires. "On the equinox, night and day are nearly the same length – 12 hours – all over the world. This is the reason it's called an “equinox”, derived from Latin, meaning “equal night.” However, in reality, equinoxes don't have exactly 12 hours of daylight. Earth's axis is tilted at an angle of about 23.4° in relation to the ecliptic plane, the imaginary plane created by the Earth's path around the Sun. On any other day of the year, either the Southern Hemisphere or the Northern Hemisphere tilts a little towards the Sun. But on the two equinoxes, the tilt of the Earth's axis is perpendicular to the Sun's rays." - Time and Date No matter the hemisphere you are in, both spring and fall are considered "sandhi" times of year- or in between seasons. These are sacred times, when the veil is thin and sensitivity is heightened. From an Ayurvedic perspective, we attend to necessary physical rituals that help the body cleanse and purify. Holi comes at this sacred junction and is a time to "plant seeds" so to speak. It is a celebration of fertility, abundance and the awakening of Shakti within Nature. The full enlivening of the Divine Feminine, is celebrated during Vasant Navaratri- the nine days of Mother Divine- which begins on April 4th this year. Consider Holi the "kick off" celebration. Use this time to plant your seeds of desire. Honor the sense of spring and possibility, hope and awakening. Deep transformation and turmoil are taking place with this full Moon and in the cycle to come. This waning cycle offers more focus and precision. A new clarity is emerging, but you must create it. Pull up the weeds crowding your vision and uproot the parts of yourself that are holding you back from greater empowerment. You may have confusion about your power and purpose, but use this time to create a clear path and remove the rubble. Let go of the parts of yourself that hinder you from stepping into your power more fully. Dream big! Allow yourself to expand what you think is possible for yourself. Where are you limiting yourself? What stories have you been telling yourself that keep you stuck and playing small? What is holding you back from full manifestation of your goals, dreams and desires? The mental body stories stuck on repeat in your unconscious mind, must be brought to the light, released and transformed- in order for you to step into a more powerful future. Cut, clear and delete the stories that are keeping you from powerful action steps. Gains come when you radically release the addiction to scarcity consciousness and lack. You deserve more nourishment. Clear away the parts of yourself that don't yet feel deserving or capable of greater power. How long has this painful story been on repeat? How long will you keep playing it? Use the cycle ahead to get radical, clear, focused and determined. Confront your goals head on. What is in your way of accomplishment and greater power? Uproot the old weeds in your mind and plant new seeds of life and nourishment. Get creative! Expand the possibilities you see for yourself- but keep it simple. There is something within you that needs to be healed and released so you are free to move forward. Pay attention to your heart wisdom for insights. Creative Ritual My Creative Rituals are intended to support your transformation and healing process in the cycle to come. Each ritual is in alignment with the cosmic tides- in order to help you adjust, shift and move more fluidly in balance with Nature's rhythms. Recycle this ritual more than once for added benefits. Similar to exalted planets in that they are "full" and can't be "added to", a Full Moon (or Purnima) means that it is full to capacity, there is no more room for it to expand and grow; it is complete. In this way, we can interpret the Full Moon as a "New Moon" in that it marks the beginning of a new cycle of emptying itself and refilling itself (mirroring our internal process). Beginning a lunar month at the Purnima is called Suklanta and differs from starting the count from the New Moon (Amavasya) which is the point when the Moon is empty and is waiting to be filled by the Sun. Purnima is in the middle of the Lakshmi phase of the Moon cycle whereas Amavasya is the moment during the cycle where Kali and Durga meet. Clearly, the energy is quite different; mirrored in our internal experience as well. These different methods of starting the lunar calendar remind me of the saying "is your glass half empty or half full?!" When do we start our "New Moon" calendar and begin our new lunar month? When we are full and satisfied or when we are empty and needing to be nourished? It is with this question in mind that I came up with this week's Creative Engagement Activity. Read more about the importance of the Moon. Often for a New Moon or a Full Moon, I like to work with the image of a mandala. Mandalas help us to create and express fullness, to fill empty space, to work with what is. Mandalas are a container, filled, with our visions, creativity and desire- much like a metaphor for life. 1) With this idea of "creating within a container" as well as half the image of full/empty, I invite you to draw two large circle shapes on a piece of paper. Cover up one of the circles with a sheet of paper while you create within the other. 2) The theme for this first circle is "being filled". Fill in the first circle with what you desire for the cycle to come. What do you want to be filled with? 3) When you feel complete with the first circle, look at both circles on your paper. One is "full" and one is "empty". What thoughts come to you? What feelings? Then answer these statements under your first circle: I am, I want, I need 4) Next, begin working on the second circle. The theme for this circle is "being emptied". What are you releasing and letting go of as you move into the cycle to come? 5) When you feel complete, write a few notes down. What do you notice as you look at the entire piece? What thoughts come to you? What feelings? Then answer these statements under your first circle: I am, I want, I need 6) Finally, harvest your thoughts on this process. Circle ten words that leap out at you from the writing you've done. Form these words into a three to five line poem. (Adding extra words is ok). Share your poem below! * Extra credit for dancing (embodying) your images and poem at some point this week. Ask for the help you need- in order to truly transform your life!

On the 19th of February at 08:53 am MT, a full Moon in Leo and Magha nakshatra arrives, offering big waves and ancestral support. Wisdom and spiritual insights for your path are present. Use this time to create a connection with Spirit and avoid the material concerns of the ego. This is an important time to strengthen your relationship with your ancestors and realign with your dharmic path. Remember that the ancestors want your dharmic success. They are here to support you in achieving the healing and transformation possible for you and your lineage. Clarify your purpose and recommit to your steps. Magha nakshatra is ruled by Pitr, which means ancestors (particularly the father's lineage) and falls within the first portion of the sign Leo. It is considered a gandanta, of which there are three of in the zodiac. Each gandanta creates uprooting on the psycho-emotional body level- so we know that these junction points bring change and transformation with them. Magha gives results with our relationship to power, purpose and the ego identity. This constellation correlates to inner and outer authority, as well as both individual and ancestral karma. Those born with this constellation in their natal charts usually have a great deal of ancestral karma to unpack in this lifetime- particularly with the father. Magha reminds us to align with dharma, purpose, power, and clear our ancestral karma. This full Moon signifies an immense change with our inner power. There is a break in past karma taking place. Are you paying attention to the release of your shadow, or are you consumed with the challenges and overwhelm? Use this time to consciously clear and release negativity, burdens, toxicity and anything that is disempowering you. Focus on the direction you want to go and clarify the results you want to achieve. Make goals and be vigilant with your actions and choices. Do they support your focus and direction, or distract you and derail you? Remember that you have enormous power and potential. You have a purpose and many gifts that are needed in this world. Your wisdom, insights and light are a vital resource for reminding others to shine brightly. Stay close to your light and commit to shining even brighter. Temper the ego, but stay close to your truth and wholeness- shadow and light. Look for sudden flashes of insight and awareness around the time of the full Moon. Clarify your vision and release the shadows obstructing your view. From Aquarius, Sun and Mercury look at the Moon during this full Moon, creating mental clarity and focus. Use this to write down your goals and intentions for the coming cycle. In Sagittarius, Venus and Saturn are in tight conjunction until February 24th when Venus moves to Capricorn. Venus and Saturn are asking us to simplify our relationships, money and life force energy. Saturn will not support anything but simplicity, slow and steady steps, as well as methodical and consistent effort. When Saturn and Venus collide, a structure is given to the flow of watery Venus. Your job is to clarify the pathway and clear the rubble in the way of the flow. Where are you making things more difficult than they need to be? Relationships, money and health need more simplicity and structure. Sun has moved to Aquarius for the coming month- as of February 13th. Sun joins Mercury here until the 25th so expect a sharp mind in the coming weeks. Saturn gives his gaze, asking for slow, methodical behavior. Expect innovation and entrepreneurial insights in this transit. Think outside the box and focus your light on seeing all sides. Duality and differences emerge. How do you honor all the needs arriving? Aquarius requests structure and tradition, as well as different and unusual choices. This sign reminds us there are two sides to every coin. Can we find the wholeness? How do we attend to the integration and unification of opposing forces? Spend time this month integrating the duality within you and your personal mythology. Shine the light on binary patterns and behaviors. What parts of you need more harmony and unity? Wherever there are two opposing forces, we find conflict. Now is an ideal time to create peace within. Attend to shadow parts and lean closer to your darkness. Let the light show you the way. Hold both equally and honor your full body intelligence. Notice where Aquarius is in your Jyotish chart. What themes will be illuminated as Sun enters this part of your chart?! Don't Forget that we have a major transit on the horizon! Rahu and Ketu are getting ready to change signs on March 7th. Rahu will move to Gemini and Ketu will move to Sagittarius. Both will be exalted for the next 1.5 years- meaning the karmic nodes will be expressing themselves at maximum capacity. Ketu will also be conjunct Saturn for the coming year, breaking up stagnant grief and forcing restructuring in our lives in some very dramatic ways. To assess the impact of this transit, look at your jyotish chart. Where is Sagittarius in your chart? This is where Ketu will be cutting the ties that bind you and forcing release. What themes are present here? Look at Gemini in your chart. This is where Rahu will be transiting and forcing you to look more closely. He will be asking you to attend to the shadows and illusions in this realm of your life. Likely you are already feeling these shifts taking place. In advance of a major transit like this, the effects are often felt weeks and months ahead of time. What themes are surfacing already? Pay attention to the karmic shifts taking place in your life and body. This is a good time to get yagyas done for extra support. I'll be sharing more in an upcoming article about this powerful transition ahead. Not sure how this major transit will impact you? What would it look like to be the leader of your life? What needs to change? What feels in alignment already? Where do you want to be six months from now?! Step 1: Write down your vision. Journal it into your full awareness. Step 2: Create your vision. Draw, paint or collage your vision into form. Give it a title. Step 3: Harvest your vision. If your image could speak to you, what would it say?! Step 4: Make your vision a reality. What steps need to take place for your vision to become a reality six months from now?! What action step can you take today?! Ready for More?! 5 Ways to Step Into Your Power Right now: 1) The point of power is in the now, this moment right now. You won't truly know the power of this moment without establishing a deeper sense of Self awareness. What is arriving right now within your inner landscape? What do you need right now in order to deepen your sense of reconnection? Do a Self audit. Self track every day. 2) Loosen the grip of triggers and painful stories. Move the mind and emotions and don't let them get stuck in your unconscious mind. Use my Tapping Meditation to take back your power, get embodied and hear the wisdom of your inner knowing. 3) Track the planets and know what's impacting you right now. A deeper Self awareness comes from understanding the influences upon you. Then you can properly resource yourself. Knowing how the planets are impacting your mind, body and emotions, is a powerful step in bringing light (jyoti) to your conscious awareness. Jyotish prevents unnecessary suffering and helps you align with right action and choices. Track the planets daily, weekly, and monthly. 4) Study the layers of your inner wisdom. Know thyself. Your jyotish chart is the most potent resource of identification and self exploration you will ever receive. It is the map of your soul, shows you your life purpose, your reason for being alive. The short cut to understanding who you are and why you are alive, can be found through studying your jyotish chart. All the wisdom you need for greater, clarity and ease is written within your cosmic map. Deepen your jyotish studies and awaken your inner knowing with this. 5) Commit to your self growth and say yes to new resources and guidance. Consistent guidance and support makes the difference between success and failure in this life. You can't get new results when you continue to do the same thing and make the same choices. Lasting sustainable change comes when you start changing old patterns and stop repeating old behaviors. Big life changes occur when you get ongoing guidance and support, new resources and tools for success. Email me to sign up: swatijrjyotish@gmail.com The two week eclipse portal closes with a powerful Cancer full Moon and total solar eclipse. Emotions are bigger than normal, inner waves more extreme, and lunar intelligence at peak levels. This waxing cycle has brought challenges to the surface for re-evaluation. Your shadows have been intensifying parts of yourself that need greater awareness. It's time for an upgrade and a change in direction. Are you ready to pivot? The challenges surfacing are likely not new issues emerging, but rather old parts of yourself that have been ignored. Without intensification they likely won't get the attention that is required for transformation and healing. Now that your pain and discomfort has your focused attention, what needs to shift? Have you been paying attention to your shadow parts? What do you need to shift or change in your approach? What does your pain tell you about your deeper needs? On Sunday the 20th, the full Moon arrives at 22:16 MT while Moon is transiting its own sign, Cancer, and Pushya nakshatra. The lunar eclipse will already be under way. This total lunar eclipse begins at 19:36 PM and will complete at 00:48 MT on the 21st. The maximum eclipse occurs at 22:12 MT. This particular eclipse will be visible from Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Pacific, Atlantic, Indian Ocean and the Arctic. From a Vedic perspective, it is not advised to be outside during an eclipse or to look directly at the eclipse. Wear a head covering if you have to be outside so you don't absorb the shadow. Ideally, this is a time for spiritual practices such as meditation, chanting and fasting. Set intentions and honor the sensitivity of this time. It is also widely recognized that during and between eclipses, starting new endeavors will not bring positive results. No new projects, relationships or activities should start in the eclipse portal. Notice what needs are arriving, then take action after the eclipse portal closes. Best to lay low, attend to spiritual pursuits, get extra rest and work with your inner shadow very consciously during this cycle. At the time of the full Moon, multiple planets give their gaze to the Moon. North shadow node, Rahu, conjuncts Moon- causing intensification of the emotional body as well as confusion, uncertainty and shadowed intelligence. Making big decisions leading up to the eclipse (and even days afterward) is not ideal. Jupiter, Mercury, Ketu and Sun give their drishti to the Moon at the time of the full Moon and eclipse. Moon energy is expansive yet distracted. Take time to ground, go slow and simplify your steps. This is not a time to push, force or take risks. In the days following the eclipse, you will likely notice a release, purging and clearing taking place. Expect some break through or new awareness to emerge. The clouds will part, the veil will lift, and the shadow will lessen. This is an important time to pay attention to needs that are surfacing and refocus. It's time for a life upgrade! Where are you playing small, or allowing victim behavior to disempower you? Release the lack, uncertainty and resistance to change. What steps can you take to move closer to your dreams, goals and desires? Pushya nakshatra is notorious for bringing the nourishment. The coming cycle can support you with gains- if you make space for them. Your willingness to clear and purge your shadows and wounds, will allow you to hold the new and invite in more of what you need. Wisdom, guidance, universal support and abundance comes with Pushya nakshatra. It is a benevolent star that allows for needs to be met. However, effort and alignment are required. Remember that needs can not be met if you do not know what they are. It's time to expand and ask for your big desires! Clarify needs, ask for your needs to be met, and be prepared to receive them. Your willingness to get clear will determine your capacity to attract, align and be more fully nourished. In the coming cycle, gains and growth present themselves. Say yes to expansion, increase and resources that support and strengthen your deep sense of nourishment. It's ok to ask for more of what you need. You are enough and you deserve the nourishment of life! Wondering what to focus on in 2019? Read my Sidereal Horoscopes. Winter Solstice (in the Northern Hemisphere) occurs on December 21st at 15:23 MT, a time when life seems to stop, or stand still. "The term Solstice comes from the Latin word solstitium, meaning 'the Sun stands still'. This is because on this day, the Sun reaches its southern-most position as seen from the Earth. The Sun seems to stand still at the Tropic of Capricorn and then reverses its direction. It's also common to call it the day the Sun turns around." - Via Time and Date As the still point arrives and the reversal of the light takes place, it is a powerful time for introspection and release. This is a time to attend to shadows, grief and undigested emotions. Clearing, purging and releasing lingering emotions from the past cycle will create space for the new, opening you to more life force in the months ahead. As the darkness strengthens right now, lean closer. Lean into your fears, challenges, pain and grief. Let it speak to you. Honor its wisdom and validity Remember that ignoring your darkness only makes it stronger. Your capacity to feel the joy of life is determined by how much grief you have in your body. The natural cycles of darkness support the healing and release of grief within your body- if you honor and acknowledge it. Pay attention to your darkness and listen carefully. The Sun (light) has just left Scorpio, the darkest of the twelve signs. He's now in the gap between Scorpio and Sagittarius in a notorious gandanta- Mula. You may be feeling this instability and uncertainty surface in your life right now. Notice it and don't turn away. What changes are needed in order to find more ground? With all the layers of darkness present right now, it's an important time for honesty- with ourselves and others. As we arrive at the still point of the year, deep presence is possible. What are you noticing? What do you see? What are you acknowledging- even though it's hard to look at? Be courageous in your presence. Honor the dark wisdom arriving. Show up for yourself and your shadow. Be with your darkness so you can find the other side, the light. The December Full Moon occurs hours after the transition of the Sun, occurring on the 22nd at 10:48 am MT. This is a particularly powerful full Moon as it takes place in the portion of the sky ruled by the storm god, Rudra. He is notorious for big emotional expression- the release of grief through anger, tears and violence. He brings big waves within the emotional body and activates release, purging and destruction. Rudra rules the portion of the sky called Ardra nakshatra which falls within the sign of Gemini. This constellation is considered Tikshna, which means sharp and dreadful. It cuts, severs and attacks. It is particularly useful when harsh, destructive or painful actions must be taken. Though Ardra nakshatra can offer immense pain and suffering, the relationship with grief must be acknowledged here. Suffering intensifies when we resist the darkness, the struggles, the pain and losses we experience. The intensity of Ardra nakshatra (and Rudra) occurs when the powerful emotional body within is ignored, suppressed, avoided or disconnected. The violent inner storms increase when the waves are not attended to regularly, when they are not honored or acknowledged as normal, valid and valuable parts of the human experience. Ardra nakshatra invites (or forces) us to look at our challenging emotions, our grief, so that it can be released and cleared. On the other side of this grief is space to feel something else- equally as powerful. The waning cycle ahead is a request to lean closer to your own darkness and shadow. Your grief, losses and struggles. It's a call for help, a beckoning from your emotional body wisdom. Do you lean closer or do you keep resisting the pain? What needs are surfacing? What does your emotional body tell you it needs? What shifts, changes or adjustments need to be made in order to get your needs met? Need clarity for the year ahead? Wondering what direction to take? It reminds you that a boundary has been crossed, that something feels unfair, that you have been wronged in some way. When you experience anger, there is an opportunity to find clarity about your needs and step into your power with more purpose. Far too often though, anger becomes an unconscious reactive emotion that never gets to truly serve its purpose- to wake you up! Right now, the planet and particularly the United States, is being called into action. So many are feeling very old, deeply embedded anger and rage rise to the surface. You may be feeling anger as a result of your own personal mythology, as well as a result of the collective consciousness. Allowing your anger to move through you is potent medicine. But even more important than it's movement, is actually harvesting from this emotion. Understanding the deeper layers of your anger can help you awaken to needs, more nourishment and empowerment. What you don't want to do is suppress your anger, or use it in ways that harm yourself and others. Systemically suppressed anger can become depression- which is ultimately a result of resisting your power. Anger is in fact a resource for tapping into your power, purpose and dharma! Here Are Four Ways to Release Anger Right Now: #1: Anger is often a first response emotion. It can become an addiction to feel anger- especially if this is the way you learned how to feel and express. Anger happens to be the most socially acceptable emotion, so most people default to anger quite easily. Step number one is to get into the habit of checking in with the four levels of your being and do a self audit. This process can help you identify the experiences happening within your inner landscape so you don't disconnect from your body and emotions. Do A Self Audit #2: What are you angry about? Who are you angry at? Consider this your challenge. Now use my Challenge Creative Ritual to identify, move and transform your anger into potent awareness. #3: Move your anger safely. Release anger and rage by screaming, yelling, punching pillows, throwing things (without harming yourself or anyone/anything else) and stomping. Get the sound of your anger out in a safe, contained space. Let the emotion move out and through your body. #4: Tap and Rant. EFT is a powerful resource for moving emotions- especially anger. Tap on the heart point in the center of the chest or tap through the points as you speak your anger aloud. Don't hold back. Tapping through the points as you express your anger, will support its movement and release, without it getting stuck in your body. Need some extra support? Use my Tapping Meditation Podcast for Big Emotions. Hi Sensitive Souls!

Moon is full and in powerful degrees on the 22nd at 22:39 MT, moving from exaltation to mulitrikona degrees as the Full Moon arrives. The energy of an exalted planet is overflowing and it moves the energy out of the body- supporting release, expression and emotional purging. This Full Moon is in Taurus and Krittika nakshatra, allowing for clearing, clarifying and exactness. Listen carefully to your emotions as they will be supporting this clarity and awareness of your needs. Are you listening to your inner waves? Ketu's gaze upon the Moon at the time of fullness supports the release and purging of emotion. Sun, retrograde Mercury and Jupiter all look directly at the full Moon as well. wisdom, reminders and light will increase the clarity you receive in the waning cycle to come. Gather insights, pay attention to your emotional body wisdom, listen to reminders and returns. You may notice that you're seeing more clearly right now and able to acknowledge deeper layers than you've been willing to see in the past. Don't bypass this information, embrace it and use it to make decisions that are more aligned with your needs. Krittika nakshatra is ruled by the fire god Agni. This constellation supports purification through fire and it has a razer sharp exactness that allows for precision, clarity and focus. Fire is one of the most powerful resources available to humans. From a healing perspective, fire supports the transformation process, allowing new form, shape and possibilities to arrive. Instrumental in the alchemy of change and awakening. Agni is the spark that lights the fire. He lives in your body and supports the digestion process- physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Without Agni there is no life possible. Agni is a potent reminder of the importance of fire in all parts of life and vitality. Use the coming cycle to clear away excess and get focused on the essentials for your life path and purpose. What needs to be trimmed away and released? What clarity is arriving about your needs? Where are you still unclear? What resistance is keeping you from finding clarity about your needs and actions? Move towards the nourishment and that which sustains you. Get rid of anything that doesn't support this alignment. This is the ultimate simplicity of life- the Middle Way. Agni will help you clarify what you need. Be willing to release and let go of what doesn't nourish or serve you. Are you showing up and facing your emotional body with clarity? Are you using this to inform your needs, communication and self expression? Receive gains in the cycle ahead by making space for them. Your willingness to purge and release will create the space for the new, more nourishing resources to arrive. Creative RitualWhat is nourishing you in your life right now? What feels nourishing in your relationships? Where do you notice this nourishment in your body? 1) Using craypas, paints or pencils, create an image of your nourishment. What does nourishment feel like for you? Create an image that expresses this feeling using colors, textures and shapes. Allow 20 minutes at minimum for this nourishment image. Title your image. 2) Use your image to inspire a movement exploration. Let your body move in response to your nourishment image with an intention of "moving with your feelings of nourishment". What sensations emerge for you during your dance? What awareness? Allow 5 to 10 minutes for this movement exploration. I encourage you to extend this time frame as you recycle this process. 3) Harvesting. In your journal answer these questions: I am, I want, I need, I sense, I feel, I imagine. What deeply nourishes me? What no longer nourishes me? Where do I feel support in my life? Where do I need more support? What am I opening to? What am I releasing? I call myself the Dharma Midwife. I am on a mission to help sensitive souls birth their powerful gifts and passions into this world! I support sensitive souls like you with finding your purpose and dharma. Send me a message to see if I have any openings: swatijrjyotish@gmail.com The October full Moon arrives Wednesday, October 24th at 10:44 am MT while Moon transits Aries and Ashwini nakshatra. Beginnings and rejuvenation arrive. This is a powerful cycle for healing and transformation. Release, make space, and open to the new. Moon feels energized and enlivened at the time of the full Moon. Direct this energy towards self care, healing resources and creativity. As Moon awakens Ashwini nakshatra during this full Moon, the constellation of healing supports greater inner wisdom to arrive. Clear space for this wisdom by releasing and letting go of stagnation, undigested emotions and mental clutter. This is an ideal cycle to attend to the physical body and wellness practices. Start your fall or spring cleanse at the time of the full Moon and jump start your healing process in the weeks ahead. The Ashwini Kumara twins rule the first constellation of the zodiac, Ashwini. This dynamic duo are brothers- both Ayurvedic doctors who can support powerful healing within the body. They awaken creativity, spark new life and enliven rejuvenation so new life can arrive. They rule over all the healing arts- resources that support increased life force energy. The more life force within, the more vitality and strength experienced within the physiology. Allow the support of the Ashwini Kumaras to help you restore balance, integration and wellness in the cycle ahead. The symbol of Ashwini is a horse head. Horses represent power, strength, endurance and vitality. Working with horses and riding horses requires clarity, focus and a strong will, as well as willingness to be touched by horse medicine. Ashwini expresses the ability to strengthen ourselves and heal like the mighty horse. Horses are known to create an anti-venom which literally and metaphorically expresses the ability to ward off evil, poison and snakes. The coming cycle can support greater strength and vitality- in body, mind, emotions and spirit. Spend time with horses and watch them carefully for healing insights. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, while Ashwini is the first constellation of all twenty seven nakshatras. The arrival of this full Moon brings beginnings with it. As with all openings, there is also closing, release and letting go. Are you attending to losses and release? Are you allowing for the letting go? What grief needs to be purged and has yet to be honored? Where are you skipping over your closing ritual? There has been so much trauma confronted over the past many weeks as a result of Mars and Ketu in tight conjunction and the recent transition of Jupiter shifting into Scorpio has intensified shadow work and grief. So many have felt old trauma and grief aggressively forced to the surface. It's been a painful process for many and has created destabilization and lack of safety in body and life. It's time to come back to ground and deepen your self trust. Use resources to support more nourishment, rest and gentleness, Re-center yourself and use your body as the tuning fork. What does your body say it needs? Ask your body to give you messages and listen carefully. Keep showing up. Sun has shifted to its debilitation sign, Libra, for the coming month. This is a low point in the year for the Sun. Until November 16th, Sun will be in hiding, asking for rest and silence. All debilitated planets turn their energy inwards. The Sun's light and energy will turn inward in the coming weeks, asking you to look within. The light within will strengthen which means that we may see ourselves and our shadows more clearly. This may feel helpful or painful for some. Honor this inward shift with extra self care. This is not a time to push or force or be visible. This is a powerful time for introspection, retreat and more silence. Do less and honor this still point in the season. When the Sun's light dims, it can be challenging for the physical body, however it can often be helpful for the spiritual body. Take extra care of the body, get more rest, eat in harmony with the seasons and use an Ayurvedic diet. Abhyanga (warm oil massage) is a great grounding resource. Spend time in nature and stay close to the body. It may feel easier to lose connection with the body in the coming days and disconnect. Use somatic resources to reconnect. Where are you bypassing the needs of your body? Where are you disconnected with your physical body? Are you spiritual bypassing and avoiding your grief? What relationship challenges are keeping you disconnected from your body, pelvis and sexuality, feminine wisdom? Notice where Libra lives in your chart. This house placement will give further insights into themes emerging for this coming cycle. If you are a Scorpio rising, Sun will be marana in your 12th house. This is the least happy place for Sun and will require extra care and attention. More spiritual focus and less material focus is vital. Attend to losses and grief that needs your attention. For Aries ascendant, Sun dips into your 8th house which is a hidden place for Sun. It is a low point for your year and extra care and caution must be taken. Vigilance with body is needed. Don't take risks and mind your vulnerability. Creative Ritual Create a list of self care activities that nourish and support your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies. What am I closing to? I call myself the Dharma Midwife. Send me a message to see if I have any openings: swatijrjyotish@gmail.com Days after the equinox, the September full Moon arrives on Monday the 24th at 20:52 MT. Moon is in sidereal Pisces and the constellation of Uttarabhadrapada at the time of fullness. There is movement, increased fluidity, and a desire for balance arriving with this Moon tide. Equinox expresses the equilibrium taking place in the environment- when days and nights become nearly equal in length. The darkness and the light within us and around us find some harmony, integration and balance. With Venus currently transiting Libra until January 1st, this theme is alive and well. Pisces also seeks balance, however it is through movement and release. Stagnation causes certain death. The turning of the cycles and the rotation of the wheel of life, is provoked at these seasonal junction points, or Equinox. Whether you are in the Northern or Southern Hemisphere, the shift is arriving- causing the release and sparking an opening of the new. Pisces correlates to the 12th house of the zodiac- which expresses themes around loss, endings, release and letting go. The wisdom of the 12th house is expressed through the ancestors, reclusive tendencies and all matters of the spiritual realms. It is a junction point between endings and beginnings, openings and closings, spirit and material worlds. There is nothing mundane about this portion of the sky. Jupiter, the guru, rules Pisces and reminds us of the knowledge possible through this sign. As a water sign, it requests movement, fluidity, purification and attention to the emotional body. The September full Moon in Pisces and Uttarabhadrapada takes us into a deep dive- below the surface understanding of life and into the depths of our inner realms. Ruling deity of this constellation is Ahirbudhnya who rules unseen, hidden parts of our awareness. With the help of Ahirbudhnya, the unconscious parts of ourselves will rise to the surface, becoming conscious. The serpent of the depths seeks spiritual awakening, transformation and healing, and does so by asking us to look at our shadows. As a Naga, Ahirbudhnya has spiritual serpent energy that moves darkness to the light, stirring and awakening the unseen, making it dissolve into conscious awareness. In many ways this is a reflection of the endless cycle of transcendence and transformation. Darkness to light, pulling from our depths, and awakening insights and awareness; the new awareness provoking change and beginnings. Though we touch the surface, the intention of this constellation is to go back into the depths again and again. Coming up for air doesn't last long. It is the desire for expansion and growth that drives the movement and the return to the depths of our inner ocean. Ahirbudhnya supports this journey. This waning cycle comes with a request to journey into your inner terrain and pull up pearls of wisdom. This requires your willingness to look deep within and uncover the hidden, dark parts of yourself. An invitation to intensify your healing process and gather new guidance is arriving. There may be confusion and shadow keeping you from seeing clearly, but strive for clarity and insight anyway. Balance, integration and harmony are bursting forth, but not without required release and endings. Are you consciously allowing the letting go to take place? What veils of illusion are clouding your vision? What needs to be stripped away in order for you to see more clearly? Relationships and the feminine are particularly potent resources for this waning cycle. Are you listening to your inner Divine Feminine? Are you allowing her wisdom to support your balance? She is a requirement for your wholeness and inner balance. Let Her speak to you. As we move beyond the equinox, the Vedic celebration of Maha Navaratri arrives with the new Moon on October 9th. This is a powerful turning point in the Vedic Calendar when the Divine Feminine transforms and awakens. It is through her powerful dance that the seasonal shifts take place. We are embarking on the magical shift between seen and unseen, straddling the material and spiritual realms. This is a gap, a portal, that invites in depth, wisdom and powerful inner wisdom. Don't go back to sleep. The Navaratri celebration is an expression of what is taking place within Nature, through the Laws that govern Nature, marking an important transition within us and around us. Align with Nature and Her powerful energy of change and transformation during Navaratri. Ritualize your connections with Nature- in order to land more closely to your own inner wisdom, to Her wisdom. Strengthen your connection to self and Spirit. Navaratri is a poignant time in the Vedic Calendar. This ancient calendar is one that is dedicated to Nature and her cycles and rhythms, the planets, and most importantly the Moon. In the Vedic Calendar, time is connected to what Nature and the cosmos are doing, and these elements are intimately related. Navaratri occurs twice a year- in the "gap" seasons of spring and fall. These times are considered sandhi times; delicate times that feel like you are neither here, nor there. We might call it the netherworld. This time, though delicate, is considered sacred so use this time wisely. Read More About Navaratri the power of Navaratri. Creative Ritual Use this simple process to help you harvest a message from your grief and support its movement and release. 1) Take a few deep breaths and lean closer to your body sensations. Take your time and go slowly. 2) Notice the emotional body. What are you releasing right now? What losses have you faced in this past cycle? What grief is stirring within you? If you could find this grief living in your body, where would it be? Where do you feel this grief in your body? 3) Lean closer to this grief in your body. How does it feel? What colors, textures or images do you notice? Ask it to share with you. If your grief could talk, what would it say? If your grief could share a need with you, what would it say? 4) Create an image of your grief. How does this grief feel in your body? Create an image using paint, craypas, collage or any medium that inspires you. Spend at least 20 minutes with your grief image. When it feels complete, give it a title. 5) Harvest from your grief image. If it could speak to you, what would it say? Use my short podcast to support your inner resourcing and discover the message of your grief. Read More I am on a mission to help sensitive souls connect with their inner truth and inner wisdom. Send me a message to see if I have any openings: swatijrjyotish@gmail.com Early on August 26th, the full Moon in Aquarius and Satabisha nakshatra arrives. At 05:55 am MT, the Moon will be at it its fullest and most luminous. This is a particularly potent full Moon, supporting healing, opening and divine clarity for your path. On the other side of three eclipses and a Kala Sarpa yoga, the coming cycle supports new possibility for healing and awakening. Sun in its own sign of Leo sits on the Eastern horizon at the time of the full Moon, ushering in light, empowerment and strength for the cycle ahead. Ask the ancestors to support you in the coming days, as they will be the ones granting you blessings and ushering you forward. The Moon receives gaze from Jupiter at this time of the full Moon as well, gifting us with a sense of expansion and a readiness to open up to new nourishment. Saturn also gazes at the Moon offering restriction and steadiness. Together, these dynamics of expansion and contraction, provide balance and evenness. Honor these needs in the coming weeks. Seek steady steps, be consistent and allow yourself to receive the flow of resources arriving. The full Moon in Aquarius is a reminder to seek integration and balance with opening and closing. A dual ruled air sign, both Saturn and Rahu provide a sense of duality and contradiction here. Aquarius correlates to the 11th house of gains, however, gains come when we allow for losses. In other words, without letting go and supporting the release process, there isn't space to acquire or receive the gains arriving. Pluses and minuses must be honored in the cycle ahead. There will be losses and inevitable letting go. Just remember you are making space for the new. What do you need for deeper nourishment? Are you making space for what you need? What losses do you need to attend to and grieve? What gains do you need to celebrate and honor? Satabisha nakshatra is a powerful constellation of healing. This full Moon brings an important junction point to our journey of change and transformation. Varuna is the ruling deity of this portion of the sky. He rules Natural Law and sustains it through seeing everything- dishing out consequences for that which goes against the highest Laws of the Universe. Said to have "thousands of eyes", Varuna sees all actions, choices and behaviors. This gives him great wisdom, and allows him to be a great healer as well- as he can eradicate the root cause of disease. Sometimes Varuna is considered the king of kings for this reason as he rules over Natural Law, Universal Law, or Rta. Lakshmi and Soma are Varuna's children. Both offer the blessings, healing gifts and miracles that are required to transform the disdain and displeasure of Varuna's watchful gaze. This full Moon is an excellent beginning and fresh start- especially for healing purposes. Disease that begins under Satabisha is extremely difficult to heal, so being extra diligent with routine, diet and life style choices are nonnegotiable in the cycle ahead. This is an excellent time to start your fall cleanse, follow Ayurvedic guidelines more closely, get more rest, exercise and meditate regularly. Use self care in the days ahead and hit reset. If you've been falling far away from a healthy routine and choices, now is the time to reel it back in and realign with more structure for building immunity and inner strength. The cure for the critical gaze of this constellation is increasing nourishment, resources, support and vitality. This comes from simplicity, ease and gentleness- not force or punishment. Let this be a reminder for your healing actions and choices as you realign with your inner truth and inner knowing. The symbol of Satabisha is a drum or a circle, which reminds us of the healing power of this constellation, as well as containment and boundaries. There is inner and outer, self and other, inside and out. The sacred drum keeps time, supports our alignment with the universal rhythm and helps call us home to our own heart beat. Use the coming cycle to recommit to yourself, your own drum beat. Keep life simple, steady and slow. Find your pulse, find your rhythm. Let nature and her wisdom support your realignment. Where do you need to simplify and reconnect with your own inner knowing? Where are you getting lost, erratic and creating difficulty? What challenges are asking you to look more closely and reevaluate your choices and actions? How is your inner critic keeping you from the nourishment you seek? Use the coming cycle to come home to yourself and set the intention of healing your body, mind, emotions and spirit. Ask for guidance and seek out new resources where you see holes in your support team. Honoring your inner wisdom and truth is dharma. There is no other path. Creative Ritual Most people think of Jyotish Astrology as a means of charting the planets, the stars, the movements of the heavens. For those of us who subscribe to this very ancient body of Vedic knowledge though, we understand that there is a correlation between the cosmos and our own inner nature, our experience of life. There is a connection between the macrocosm and the microcosm, the two are not separate, but dance, mingle and co-create. This divine interplay is what makes studying Jyotish so valuable. Self Tracking, Learning from the Wisdom of the Body 1) Sit, stand or lay down. Close your eyes and fall into the rhythm of your breath. Notice the rise and fall of your chest, the waves of breath moving in and out of your body. Take some time to relax into this rhythm. 2) As the body moves to greater stillness and relaxation through breath awareness, locate a sensation in the body. This sensation might show up as a tingling, a pulsing, or a sense of vibration. There might even be a color, a shape, a sound or a word that arrives in connection to the body part. Listen and honor whatever arrives for you. Don't filter the messages, judge or critique them. Your only job is to listen right now. Be curious, be interested, and be present to the body's messages. What body part emerges? What sensations are arriving? What messages are shared? Take note of this wisdom coming to you from your body. 3) Create an image of this physical body sensation that arrived through your self tracking. Use craypas or paint and put your experience on paper- so as to transfer the felt senses into a tangible, visual expression. This is a powerful part of the process and one that can shift us into deeper awareness of our body wisdom. 4) Once your image is complete, give it a title. Now, let it speak. What does your image have to share with you? If your image could speak, what would it say? 5) Pull out your Jyotish chart. What body part emerged in your self tracking exploration? What house of the chart is connected to this body part? Study this house within your chart. What do you notice? Use this to help you identify the houses. We can analyze the experience of the house by noting: What planets are sitting there, if any? What sign is located in this house? Do any planets give their drishti (gaze)? Finally, note the current transits and what planets might be effecting this house currently. Your body is sharing with you a very specific message. This message is directly connected to your needs, your desires, your deep longing for nourishment, comfort, safety and support on some core level. When we can access the wisdom of the body directly, we get very clear, unfiltered messages and insights. The cosmic intelligence of the jyotish chart can then help us further identify what is impacting us both macrocosmically and microcosmically. This is the vital information we need for deepening our healing and transformation process. Send me a message to see if I have any openings: swatijrjyotish@gmail.com The July Full Moon comes with a trifecta of cosmic events occurring simultaneously. In addition to this Capricorn full Moon, a total Lunar Eclipse takes place, the longest of the century. In the Vedic Calendar, this July full Moon is also considered the most sacred full Moon of the year, called Guru Purnima. Eclipses are considered a powerful spiritual occurance in the Vedic tradition and Guru Purnima is the most auspicious day to honor one's gurus, teachers and guides. The magnitude of this spiritual event should not be overlooked. This is an incredible opportunity to spend time attending to the inner realms and one's spiritual growth. Spend time on this day honoring your ancestors and teachers, your spiritual lineage and the wisdom that is guiding you in this lifetime. This Capricorn Full Moon takes place on the 27th at 14:20 MT while the lunar eclipse is already under way. Sravana nakshatra rules this expansive full Moon and the cycle ahead, offering spiritual insight, dharmic support and resources to sustain ones path. Lord Vishnu rules over this portion of the sky, gifting the constellation of Sravana with momentum for one's purpose. He sustains and upholds that which supports the dharmic path. If it is life supporting and honors Natural Law, Vishnu will bless it and help it thrive. If it does not bring life and sattva (purity), it won't get his support. Sravana nakshatra reminds us to align with our inner wisdom and to strengthen the capacity to listen for truth. What is your truth? What is your deepest intention and soul's purpose? What is the driving force and inner intelligence that gives you strength? Put emphasis here and pay close attention in the coming cycle for reminders. Gather resources, support and guidance to assist your clarity, purpose and inner guidance. If it's not nourishing you, let it drop away- or it will likely fall away on its own. Mars, Moon and Ketu are in exact alignment during the full Moon and lunar eclipse. Moon will be sandwiched in between these fiery, heated planets- causing emotional heat, aggressive expressions and release of anger. The coming cycle will support the release of heat in the emotional body. Are you paying attention to the intelligence of your anger? What does this heated emotion tell you about your needs and passions? Find ways to support this release in healthy and life supporting ways. Avoid taking your aggression out on others and be mindful that everyone will be feeling the extra heat at this time. At the time of the full Moon, Mars will be its brightest in the sky. Take a peek at the fiery planet in the night sky. It will be the closest its been to the Earth since 2003. Eclipse Portal Wisdom Three eclipses take place over the span of a month, occurring back to back. The July New Moon in Gemini arrives with a Partial Solar Eclipse, marking the opening of this shadowed portal. The Full Moon in Capricorn on July 27th takes place with a full Lunar Eclipse. Usually, eclipses come in pairs, however this eclipse cycle brings a third eclipse with the new Moon in Cancer on August 11th. A partial Solar Eclipse closes the portal and will support a rich harvest with depth and insights. There is an interesting theme with this eclipse portal. The Gemini new Moon in Punarvasu Nakshatra creates an opening for deeper nourishment to be confronted. What is missing in your support team? Where are you feeling depleted or malnourished? This new Moon will provoke challenges with disconnection to rise to the surface. The desire to be whole, more balanced and unified within self and life increases. Mid eclipse cycle, the full Moon in Capricorn and Sravana nakshatra will ask you to refine and take steps towards dharma- that which sustains and supports you and your inner awareness. The deconstruction of old patterns and belief systems that are standing in your way must be allowed to crumble and release. You will feel the fullness of what does not serve you. What do you want to replace this old, outmoded way of being? What resources and behaviors can support more harmony, ease and gentleness in your life? Closing this eclipse portal will be a partial solar eclipse and a new Moon in Cancer and Ashlesha Nakshatra. If you've been hiding behind false pretenses, this will be a time of unmasking and clarifying the changes that must take place. This particular closure will force you to identify your trust issues- inner and outer. Where are you hiding behind ego and avoiding your deeper knowing? In what ways are you pretending to feel safe, without actually acknowledging your fears? You may remember that the first solar eclipse of the year on January 31st was also in Ashlesha nakshatra. What did you learn and confront in the previous eclipse cycle? This is an opportunity for you to retrace your steps and revisit any unfinished business with Sarpa, the serpent of transformation. This eclipse cycle is an opportunity to spiral up and awaken from your slumber! Step into your power by identifying and confronting your shadows, illusions and stories. There is great potential in the coming month to release the past, the undigested thoughts and stories clogging your body wisdom. As you clear and let go of these shadowed parts, there is space for moving forward in more empowered, courageous ways. First, you must be willing to awaken from your negligence, laziness and illusion. The more courage you step into, the more you will succeed! Remember that solar eclipses awaken masculine parts of ourselves and help us confront ego based iterations of self, ideologies and belief systems. There will be deconstruction and forced awareness rising to the surface. The purpose of lunar eclipses is to support the confrontation of the shadowed feminine, identifying emotional body blockages and disconnections within receptivity. Solar and lunar eclipses always come in pairs, thus supporting confrontation and release of both masculine and feminine, the ultimate polarities of existence. The result of confronting the shadow is to create more conscious awareness of our unconscious self. With more consciousness, the grip of these illusions lessens, allowing us to create new possibilities- and ultimately make vastly different choices. As we enter this eclipse portal, notice the themes and challenges you have been confronting recently. What is intensifying? What is forcing you to look? What stories, experiences and relationships are encouraging you to look more closely? Continue to dig in and lean closer. Ask for support, resources and guidance so you aren't walking alone. The total lunar eclipse of July 27th begins at 11:14 am MT and will end at 17:28 MT. The maximum eclipse will occur at 14:21 MT. This eclipse will not be visible from North America, however it is still impactful. Creative Ritual Your dharma is not something outside of yourself. The biggest mistake you are likely making with your dharma, is thinking it is a destination beyond you. The truth is, your dharma is not something outside of yourself. It is likely hidden in the day to day tasks you perform. Your dharma is hiding! It is waiting patiently for you to discover it, awaken and activate it with awareness and action steps. It is likely hidden in the day to day tasks you perform. Your passions are hidden within the function and formality of your actions. No doubt some adjustments need to be made in order for increasing your fulfillment, but don't discount the fact that you are likely already aligned with your dharma and purpose in some capacity. Don't believe me? Follow these action steps below to see what I mean. In my next step, I will be sharing a podcast to help you identify what is holding you back from moving forward with your wild and passionate life! But first, I want to help you make some connections. Where Purpose, Passion and Function Meet. 1) Start by making a list of your passions. What are your greatest joys and what activities bring you deep happiness? What do you wish you could do every day? What inspires you? What are you most passionate about in life? List these vital resources for your life. Don't hold back. 2) Next, make a list of your everyday activities. Everything from cooking to cleaning. Start with morning duties all the way to bedtime. Make sure chores are on the list and also the ways you are giving to others. 3) Look for connections and nuances in your lists. How do your passions and daily activities align with these categories: Creativity & Creating Nurturing & Nourishing Healing & Vitality Guiding & Counseling, Spirit & Wisdom Some of your activities may not seem to align with any of these categories! It may feel like a stretch, but even a chore like cleaning can be an act of "creating" and "spirit". It's an activity that is creating a clean space and making your home more sacred- depending on your intention. Attending to others and their needs can fall into any of these categories, so really listen to what themes are most alive for you in each of your roles. These are important resources to be aware of. We will use your discoveries for further exploration in my coming Dharmic Steps, so keep harvesting your list and making connections. 4) Circle themes and connections you see in your list of passions and your list of daily chores. What category appears to have the most circles? Where do you seem to align your actions most of the time? What other connections and conclusions can you come to? 5) Harvesting Questions. Answer these questions in your journal: How do your passions and everyday activities align? Where is there crossover? Where do you wish there was more? What categories are the most prevalent on both of your lists? Your final step of this process is to ask three people who are close to you what they see as your top three strengths and assets. This will likely give you an idea of how others see you from the outside. Things that you may be missing about yourself! How do these qualities relate to the above categories? You'll need this list and your discoveries for Dharmic Step #3 and I'll be sharing a special podcast with you to deepen your process. Keep going and use these resources to deepen your dharmic understanding. Jyotish Astrology Basics ~ for Transformation and Healing Are you seeking clarity, insights and wisdom for your healing path? Send me a message to see if I have any openings: swatijrjyotish@gmail.com Deep uprooting takes place in the coming cycle as the Sagittarius full Moon arrives in Mula nakshatra. On June 27th at 22:52 MT, the Moon will be at its fullest. Where are you feeling full in your life? What needs to be pulled up by the root and released? The next two weeks support a deep release, transformation and change. In this process, healing and new possibilities arrive. Are you actively making room for something new to arrive? Mula nakshatra is the first constellation in Sagittarius, notorious for creating chaos, upheaval and sudden changes. Symbolized by a bundle of roots, this nakshatra brings the kind of release that comes from the root. It's not surface or mundane. Major life changes- inside and out- occur with this lunar constellation. There are three gandantas in the zodiac and Mula is one of them. These gaps between water and fire signs are notorious for creating deep psycho-emotional body shifts. Whatever is released will make room for new awareness, more clarity and life supporting choices. However, don't get lost in the chaos of the change process. What is clearing? What new insights and awareness have emerged? Don't be too hasty to fill the space being created. Linger in the opening and be intentional. Nirrti, the Dark Goddess, rules over this portion of the sky. She is married to adharma, that which goes against dharma. The chaos and calamity that can be produced with this constellation, can pull you away from right action and a clear path. Often people under the influence of this constellation will endure deep hardship, only to eventually find the spiritual awareness out of all the immense compost. Notice where you are making life too hard. Does it really need to be such a struggle? The way you use your challenges is the key to your awakening. Find the Middle Way- the path of least force. Re-align and re-commit to your dharmic path. Are you on path or making choices that keep you disconnected and further from your purpose? How to tell if the Dark Goddess is destroying your path. As the Moon arrives in Sagittarius, it collides with Saturn currently transiting Mula. Saturn brings a certain compression to the Moon, restricting it. This grief Moon will force the emotional body to release past hurts, pain and emotions that have not been fully digested. Expect discomfort in the coming cycle as emotions are churned out, released and transformed. Keep life as simple as possible in the coming cycle. Less is more. Find your ground and come back to your body. A simple routine and lifestyle will be best at this time. Read more about Saturn in Sagittarius. Use this time to focus on relationships- with self and others. Who and what needs to be released in order for more stability, safety and support in your life? What emotions are your relationships bringing to the forefront? What needs to be digested and acknowledged more fully? The grief of past loss may be re-emerging. Can you honor the wisdom of your pain? What needs does your grief share with you? Creative Ritual 1) Identify your grief. If you could find your grief living somewhere in your body, where would it be? Lean in closer. Notice the sensations you feel with this grief in your body. 2) As you lean into the grief living in your body, notice if it has a color, shape, or texture. If this grief had a sound, what would it be? Let this sound out of the body until you feel complete. 3) If this grief in your body could share a message with you, what would it say? What does it need? 4) Create an image of your grief, using craypas, paints, collage, or any other medium that inspires you. Spend at least 20 minutes on this image- until it feels complete. Give it a title. 5) Spend some time with your grief image and let it speak to you. If your image could share a message with you, what would it say?
