Moon is waning and empties this week. New Moon is on Wednesday early morning at 01:14 am CDT signifying the beginning of the fall Navaratri celebrations. This nine day festival honors the holy goddess trinity of Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati. The festivities culminate on the 10th day (Vijayadashami) which honors Durga's defeat of the demon Mahishasura. The sacredness of this time period is explained more in my Navaratri article. You’re invited to participate in my 10 day Self Care Challenge as a way to honor this important passage into fall and winter. Join the FB Group here.
Monday, September 22nd Today’s Intention: Find nourishment in relating and co-creating. Moon transits Leo and moves into Purvaphalguni nakshatra at 01:47 am CDT. This enlivens Venus and Bhaga, the deity of love, relationship and creativity. Bhaga is an Aditya, one of the twelve gods who provide us with resources for this life experience. He dispenses wealth and happiness, luck and fortune, as well as blessings from our past incarnations. He presides over love and marriage and is associated with pleasure, sensuality and sexuality, thus relationships are his domain- mainly the spark of new and budding relationships. Today, create, connect and share. Work consciously on relating and co-creating. How can your relationships provide a sense of nourishment and support? Which ones soothe and support? Which ones feel toxic? Pay attention to your senses and what arrives through your interactions. Venus moves into the latter half of Phalguni, Uttara, at 04:58 am CDT. Shift into a role of connection and sharing over the next 10 days. Create, express, share and connect. Create and co-create and let your relationships be part of your expansion. Let your love shine! Not feeling it? What relationships need to be pruned and removed from your life in order to create more space for the more nourishing and supportive ones? What shifts and changes need to take place within your existing relationships in order for more nourishment? Take charge of your comfort and what supports and nourishes you. This is an ideal time to be conscious of your self care needs. As we move into the beginning of Navaratri on Wednesday, now is an essential time to be intentional with our needs. Be sure to join my 10 day Self Care Challenge via FB. Tuesday, September 23rd Today’s Intention: Get your shine on! From the inside out. Today is Fall Equinox for the Northern Hemisphere. It is also Mahalaya Amavasya (Pitri Paksha), the sacred celebration of honoring the ancestors who have passed and are no longer with us. Be sure to commemorate your loved ones who have passed by lighting a candle and saying a prayer in their honor, as well as through gratitude for their many gifts to you. Moon moves to Uttaraphalguni at 04:32 am CDT, joining Venus and Sun in this nakshatra as well. We get three levels of support from Aryaman today. He is also one of the twelve Adityas like Bhaga who rules the front half of Phalguni. Like Bhaga, Aryaman gives resources, but does so through sustenance- mainly health of the body and physical stamina and strength as a result. Additionally, he also nourishes through relationships, but does so in the ways that last. Not through sensuality and sexuality, but through time, perseverance and pleasing the ancestors. As Bhaga relates to the past and past karmas, Aryaman relates to the future and what is to come; as a result he is mostly concerned with long term outcomes and situations. Moon moves to Virgo at 11:10 am CDT, joining Sun and Rahu here. These planets receive drishti from Ketu seven houses away. Be precise with your actions and relations today. Step carefully, but get noticed. Share, connect and create through relationships today. Shine brightly- inside out! Feeling shadowed or extra inward? Moon is in the 15th tithe (Moon phase) today. It’s a time to be self reflective and tend to your inner needs. Plant your seeds of desire and make your intentions known. As we move into the beginning of Navaratri tomorrow, now is an essential time to be intentional. Be sure to join my 10 day Self Care Challenge via FB. Venus is sandhi, at the edge of Leo right now. Be delicate with your relationships- both your relationship with others and with your self. Wednesday, September 24th Today’s Intention: Take an intentional pause and mark it with poignancy. Moon nears conjunction of the Sun as it becomes completely new in the wee hours of the morning. New Moon is at 01:14 am CDT in Uttaraphalguni nakshatra while Moon is in Virgo. The details of yesterday are pertinent for our coming waxing Moon cycle. The coming weeks are potent- and a poignant time for working with our long term sustainability. What steps do we need to take in order to insure sustainability and more lasting support and nourishment? What fruits are we hoping to harvest in the coming weeks and months? Our intentional action steps right now make or break the richness of our harvest. Aryaman is alive and well within us and around us- encouraging health, well being, as well as inner and outer sustenance- if we align with his offerings. Connect, co-create and use relationships intentionally in the coming weeks. Do your relationships nourish and inspire you? Or do they zap you and harm you? If you want potency and power, it will take potent and powerful actions to get different results. Sow the seeds you want right now and ask the ancestors for help with the process. Aryaman is aligned with the ancestors to insure that your lineage is well nourished and protected so make sure you ask for dharmic wisdom to help you on your journey, with choices and your action steps. Think in terms of aligning with long-term sustainability, not short term gratification. Aryaman will provide for you. Trust the process and ask for support. In addition to the New Moon, this marks the beginning of the Navaratri celebrations and the first day of three that honors Ma Durga. This is an especially potent and powerful time period, where we celebrate in the Vedic calendar, the holy trinity of goddesses: Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati. The veil is thin right now between realms, and is an especially powerful time for being inward, cleansing, nourishing and meditating. If you haven’t joined my 10 day Self Care Challenge, you can do so here. Moon moves to Hasta nakshatra at 06:59 am CDT, activating Savitr and his shining light into our day. You may awaken with sparks today and find some new purpose for your actions. Allow a glimpse of awakening to inspire you through intelligence, ideas, new awareness and gratitude. Flourish through wisdom and knowledge and take time for pausing, listening and invoking your inner light with the Gayatri Mantra today. Since the Moon is passing through the middle of Sun and Rahu today, a sense of shadow can creep in as well. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, uncertain or overstimulated, be sure to use a 3 level check in for getting in touch with your felt senses. Use this inner harvesting process to get creative. Write, draw, express through your hands. Your Self Care Journal might just be the trick. Have you signed up for my 10 Day Self Care Challenge yet? Venus is sandhi, at the edge of Leo right now and hops into Virgo, its sign of debilitation at 21:14 CDT. During this 23 day transit, be delicate with your relationships- both your relationship with others and with your self. This transit re-iterates my new Moon details for the coming waxing cycle and our attention/intention to relationships of all kinds in our lives. What needs our focus in the coming weeks in regard to self care and putting our needs first? What details within your relationships needs extra TLC? How can you improve your inner nourishment and self care focus? What boundaries need to be re-established in order for your needs to get met? What re-structuring needs to take place within your relationships- personal and professional- in order for greater clarity and purpose? This is a time of getting present to your individual needs and what nourishes you. It is not a time to be using up your energy frivolously; though you may be noticing leaks more clearly at this time. Right now it’s all about the details. Let this be a resource for getting priorities and business in order. If it becomes unhelpful, then zoom out and get a bigger picture. Take a break or time out to re-center. This doesn’t have to be a time of discomfort and overwhelm; just get resource oriented. Need a reminder about self care? Be sure you follow along with my 10 day self care challenge and work intimately with your self care journal right now. Thursday, September 25th Today’s Intention: Step wisely and with purpose. Navaratri Day 2 and second day of the Durga celebrations. Have you joined my Navaratri 10 Day Self Care Challenge yet? Moon moves into Chitra nakshatra at 09:07 am CDT, joining Rahu here as well. Virgo is a full house right now with Moon, Sun, Rahu and Venus there now. Be aware that highs and lows may feel extreme- emotionally, mentally and physically. It is important to take care of health and wellness on all three levels of your being. Vishvakarma, the celestial architect, as well as Mars, play an important role in our experience today. He is a worker, the divine architect, and very product oriented. His extreme creativity, as well as action orientation (karma is a part of his name) reminds us to take potent action steps to align with our creative powers. What are you building in your life? For your life? Attend to your inner and outer needs today. As Moon passes over Rahu, don’t get lost in the mire of details and self critic. Instead, get action oriented. Take a step in the right direction today and focus on what is doable. Moon moves to Libra at 22:02 CDT, joining Mercury and exalted Saturn there. Need a reminder about self care? Be sure you follow along with my 10 day self care challenge and work intimately with your self care journal right now. Friday, September 26th Today’s Intention: Adjust your sails with intention and harness the power of the wind. Navaratri Day 3 and final day of the Durga celebrations. Have you joined my Navaratri 10 Day Self Care Challenge yet? Moon transits Libra with Mercury, and exalted Saturn, then moves into Swati nakshatra at 10:51 CDT. Both Vayu and Rahu enliven and the winds- both inner and outer- bring shifts and changes with them. The mental and emotional bodies may be in overdrive. Feeling overstimulated, excessively anxious? Not only is attention to your prana important today for calming the inner winds, but also attending to the messages of the mental and emotional bodies. Separating these two will bring greater clarity to their different messages and likely bring more awareness to what you need. Be sure to sign up for my online 3 Levels of Awareness Immersion in order to learn how to incorporate this technique into your self care practices. Saturday, September 27th Today’s Intention: Balance creates harmony. Navaratri Day 4 and the first day of the three day Lakshmi celebrations. Have you joined my Navaratri 10 Day Self Care Challenge yet? Sun jumps into Hasta nakshatra at 00:37 am CDT, offering greater insight and wisdom to us in the coming days. Tend to this flicker of light, the inner flame. Nurture it, nourish it and honor it with gentleness. Attend to this small flame with intention and recite Gayatri Mantra in the coming days as a way to cultivate your inner light and spark magic. Attend to your sensitivity with gentleness and compassion. Moon moves to Vishaka nakshatra at 12:10 CDT, enlivening Jupiter and Indragni- the dual god who attends to our sense of nourishment through alliance. Yet another opportunity to give presence to what, and who, we are aligned with in our lives. Indra and Agni remind us that two are often better than one- as long as they work in harmony and are aligned properly. Feeling pulled in too many directions? Overwhelm settling in today? Balance is key. Clear off your plate and prioritize. What are the essentials? Where are your self care needs on this list? Put your self first and then let the other pieces fall in place more naturally. Make sure physical movement is incorporated into your day. Get embodied! Sunday, September 28th Today's Intention: Zoom in and zoom out. Harmonize polarities. Navaratri Day 5 and the second day of the Lakshmi celebrations. Have you joined my Navaratri 10 Day Self Care Challenge yet? Moon has crossed over Saturn now and moves to the edge of Libra, jumping into its debilitation sign, Scorpio, at 06:51 am CDT. Moon joins Mars in Scorpio and our internal waters get charged. Expect an extra layer of sensitivity today and emotional body awareness. At 13:01 CDT, Moon moves into Anuradha nakshatra and Mitra provides increased awareness of fine detail, friendship and connection, as well as travel and adventure. New Moon is Monday morning and then Moon begins its waxing cycle this week. Saturn and Mars are still in very tight conjunction, causing frustration with our stop and start energetics, confusion and agitation. These two opposing forces begin to separate later this week, helping us gain a new sense of balance.
Last chance to sign up for my Be Your Gift Workshop! Doors close for good Tuesday at midnight. Monday, August 25th Today's Intention: Empty, let go and release. Rest and relax. Find simple ways to self care. Ask the ancestors for guidance. New Moon today at 09:12 am CDT in Leo and Magha nakshatra. Moon is conjunct Sun (also in Magha) and Mercury, also in Leo. Magha nakshatra is ruled by Ketu, the southern lunar node responsible for restructuring and cutting attachments. The deity that presides over Magha is Pitr, who is connected to the ancestors, lineage and karma. There is authority here and sometimes ego and arrogance can arise if not checked with awareness. We are effected by seven generations before us, and we effect the seven generations to come. It is an important part of Magha, to be conscious and aware of these effects, how our ancestors and lineage play into our own life experience and what the fate of our lineage will be as a result of our own actions. Magha and Pitr are reminders to create powerful and effective karmas that leave lasting, positive results for generations to come. We may ask ourselves during Magha what our legacy is and what actions we need to take in order to create a strong legacy. This new Moon gets sparks of imagination and can fuel our desires for future actions. Let intention be a strong guiding force in the coming weeks and listen intently to your solar power, your gut instincts and your inner light. Get creative, get bold, and take strong action steps towards your desires. What are the big goals you are moving towards and what actions need to happen in order to make this happen? With Sun in its own Sign right now, we can all make some hay while the Sun shines and get some lasting results because of it. Get ambitious, think big and shine your light. Your efforts will pay off- especially if they please the ancestors. Read the New Moon Wisdom and what this new Moon offers us in the coming cycle as well as a new Moon Creative Ritual for the ancestors. Moon moves to Purvabhadrapada at 19:28 CDT, joining Mercury there. Spend the evening relaxing and enjoying simple pleasures. Tuesday, August 26th Today's Intention: Plant your seeds of desire and seek comfort in simple, satisfying actions. Connect and co-create with others. Moon transits Purvabhadrapada today, enlivening Bhaga and Venus. Moon joins Mercury in this nakshatra, so look for mental body activation as well. Bhaga is connected to enjoyment, pleasure, love and affection. His domain is sexuality and sensuality and that which sparks fun and play within our relationships. The symbol here is the back half of a bed- another association of pleasure, rest, leisure and comfort. Luck, fortune and destiny are part of Bhaga's offerings. The mind may be spinning its wheels. Desires, cravings and wants may intensify and feel overwhelming. Material pleasures and gains may feel daunting, unavailable or under nourishing. Keep the faith. Make plans. Take a symbolic action step towards your goals and desires. The Moon is still empty and dark. Plant your seeds now. Seek the support of a trusted friend for guidance and support. Self care to soothe your self with creativity. Have you done my Creative Ritual for the new Moon yet? Moon moves to Uttaraphalguni at 22:19 CDT. Last chance to sign up for my Be Your Gift Workshop! Doors close for good Tuesday at midnight. Wednesday, August 27th Today's Intention: Be sharp, one pointed and direct today. Goals are attainable if you aim and take targeted action. Moon moves to Virgo at 5:00 am CDT, joining Rahu there and receiving drishti from Ketu. Moon transits Uttaraphalguni, the latter half of the Phalguni stars ruled by Aryaman and the Sun. Aryaman is also one of the Adityas (as is Bhaga) who rules over support and sustenance on the material plane of existence. Unlike Bhaga, however, Aryaman rules lasting parts of our relationships- the parts that are time tested and long term. Prosperity is gifted from the ripening of time, not immediately. The Phalguni stars are associated with fertility, fruits, progeny, creativity, flowers and colors. Today enhances sharpness and quickness as well as sudden shifts and changes. Let sparks of imagination fly but be conscious of your shadows. Mind is poised and ready to fire. What is your target? Be very intentional with your actions. Thursday, August 28th Today's Intention: Spark something! Open windows wide and let your heart sing its truth. Tensions start to ease a bit as Saturn and Mars are now over two degrees apart. Mars is moving towards its own sign of Scorpio. Look for some resolutions, clarity and release now. Moon moves to Hasta nakshatra at 00:58 CDT, activating Savitr and its ruling planet, the Moon. Hasta invites in an ability to expand, learn and grow with wisdom, the light of knowledge and intuitive insight. Let Savitr help you invoke tools of wisdom and flourishing. Recite Gayatri Mantra to awaken magic and inspire the dawning of light within you. What new insights are enlivened for you today? Oṃ bhūr bhuvaḥ svaḥtát savitúr váreṇ(i)yaṃbhárgo devásya dhīmahidhíyo yó naḥ prachodáyāt Mercury becomes sandhi and moves to the edge of Leo. Friday, August 29th Today's Intention: Take effective action and use your creative skills. Build the life of your dreams by setting your visions into goals, your goals into actions. Prosperity comes with plans and actions. Moon moves to Chitra nakshatra at 03:19 am CDT, joining Rahu in this star. Just after Moon shifts into Chitra, Mercury jumps signs and moves into Virgo, its sign of exaltation, at 04:55 am CDT. This transit will either be expansive and worldly or wrought with confusion, mental exhaustion and shadowed intelligence. Stay out of the mental body mire and be diligent with your 3 level check ins and harvesting process. Artists, use the coming 3 weeks for creative brilliance. Business minds, expand your entrepreneurial focus and think big. This is a building phase that can leave lasting results that offer big rewards. Pay attention to opportunities, or make them your self. Right now, as Mercury moves into Virgo and adjusts, it will be sandhi through the weekend. Let the liminality of the mind provide room for dreams and visions to take root. Vishvakarma and Mars enliven and offer a sense of building, planning and plotting "next steps" and "best practices" for our efforts. Vishvakarma is the divine architect, the chief artist and architect of the gods. It is through Vishvakarma that we gain skill and then gain subsistence as a result of using our skills. The action is an important part, as is indicated in the word karma and the ruler, Mars, the chief of action. As Moon moves closer to Rahu, the tendency to be overwhelmed intensifies. Work backwards and be timely with your actions. Too many irons in the fire? Scattered and feeling ineffective? Prioritize. Circle the top five most important things on your to-do list and take action accordingly. Moon moves to Libra at 16:21 CDT, joining Mars and Saturn there. Today is Ganesha Chaturti, the celebrated birthday of the elephant god who is able to remove obstacles and offer wisdom, prosperity and good fortune to his devotees. Jai Ganesha!! Saturday, August 30th Today's Intention: Where am I detaching out of habit and where am I detaching out of necessity? How can I be more conscious of my inner and outer landscape even while in constant flux and change? Moon transits Libra with exalted Saturn and Mars, moving into Swati nakshatra at 05:16 am CDT. Thankfully Mars and Saturn are separating now and Mars inches towards the edge of Libra, toward Scorpio. With Mercury exalted in Virgo, we now have three planets exalted (Jupiter, Saturn and Mercury) and Sun in its own sign of Leo. It is another powerful and poignant moment in the cosmos. Make use of it with thoughtful actions! Swati nakshatra is ruled by Vayu, the wind god, and Rahu. Movement, change, shifts, strength and power are at our disposal today. As wind is not grounded, there is a sense of lack of attachment. This can translate within us as aloofness and an inability to express emotions. Be sure to do a 3 level check in and harvesting process today. Don't cut and paste over your felt senses. Harvest and explore your inner landscape. Get clear on what you need so that you can aim your actions accordingly. Venus moves to the edge of Cancer and becomes sandhi today. Soften and open to your creative needs, relationship needs and what your heart requests. Listen carefully. Sunday, August 31st Today's Intention: Nourish yourself well. Make an offering to the gods at your altar and ask for their blessings. Feed your self well today and let this be an offering to your god Self. Digest and transform the nutrients in your life. Moon moves to Vishaka nakshatra at 06:41 am CDT, joining exalted Saturn and Mars in this nakshatra. Indra and Agni are the dual rulers of this star as well as the planet Jupiter. Indragni, remind us that often two are better than one. This dual god also reminds us that hierarchy is necessary at times, and that co-creation is imperative for life and well being. Indragni sit at the portal opening (the altar or the mouth) and help the offerings we make to the gods transform into nourishment for the gods. When the gods are nourished, they grant us nourishment in return. This is a metaphor for self-nourishment and feeding ourselves well. Through Indragni, our food is digested and transformed into life giving power and sustenance. Moon conjuncts Saturn exactly around 12:30 CDT. Attending to the physical body is essential today. Use somatic intelligence to navigate your inner landscape. Later in the evening, Moon conjuncts Mars exactly around 20:30 CDT. Work with your emotions, anger and frustrations consciously. Use my Saturn and Mars MP3's for assistance. And don't neglect your 3 level check in and harvesting process. Venus moves into Leo at 16:26 CDT, joining Sun there in its own sign and jumping into Magha nakshatra. Look for clues in the coming ten days about your relationship needs and how to be in relationship effectively. Make changes, recalibrate, let go. Listen to the ancestors for clues and messages. Connect with others through the internet. Short interactions will be more supported at this time. Be prepared to cut and clear and also restructure who and how you connect to others. Be bold. Monday, July 28th Moon moves from its own sign of Cancer and crosses into Leo at 10:33 am CDT. As it jumps into Leo, it enters Magha nakshatra as well. Ketu and Pitr are enlivened, as well as karmic ties, the father and ancestors as well as a sense of authority. The symbol is a palaquin- being carried, lifted like a royal, and with some essence of special treatment, a demand for respect. Magha nakshatra reminds us to be gracious to the ancestors- we are indebted to them after all. The old adage, seven generations back and seven generations forward, reminds us that our actions have effects and we must heed to them. Take moments throughout your day to give gratitude to your ancestors, your lineage, no matter the challenges. Ask your ancestors for guidance and protection. Light a candle and bring in the light. Mercury moves from its own sign of Gemini into Cancer this evening at 18:58 CDT. He joins exalted Jupiter and Sun there; the push to accomplish may be over processed in the coming weeks. Your mental body will be trying to the run the show. Forcing an agenda? Putting too many irons in the fire? Worry and doubt? With Saturn and Ketu giving their drishti to these three planets as well, we get more emotional and heart/chest attention than we may desire. The work must be harmonizing for both expansion and contraction energies; ultimately we are working on balance. Notice where you are opening and where you are closing in your body and in your life. Use my new Moon/Emotional body MP3 for further harvesting. Tuesday, July 29th Moon continues to pass through Magha nakshatra today until 13:34 CDT when it moves into Purvaphalguni. The Phalguni stars are highly fertile, creative and fruit bearing- our ripening in other words. Bhaga rules over the front half of this constellation- Purva- and he is one of the twelve Adityas. The Adityas rule over resources in our lives- he dispenses wealth and happiness and since he is connected to the 9th house, he is also connected to luck, fortune and blessings from our past karmas. He also presides over love and marriage, particularly sex and sensuality within a relationship- the enjoyable parts; the latter half is more about what sustains a marriage, partnerships etc; the truly necessary parts of the equation. With the palpable creativity available in this nakshatra, ruled by both Bhaga and Venus, let your creativity and wealth flow today. Find the resources in your life and give your gratitude to them. Tell your relationships what they mean to you. Let love flow in and out of your heart. Even if it feels challenging, a bit forced or you feel neglected. One drop, that's all you need. Get by giving today. Share, create, enjoy. Just before midnight, Venus moves out of Ardra nakshatra and into Punarvasu. Aditi, and the Adityas (her twelve children), truly come alive! Nourishment and resources offer more potential and possibility at this time. Perhaps we will really feel the nourishment in the heart and our relationships as well. Let it be a balm for what ails you. Wednesday, July 30th Mercury moves into Pushya nakshatra at 10:57 am CDT, joining exalted Jupiter and Sun in Pushya as well. We get triple the nourishment! Pushya is ruled by Brihaspati (Jupiter deified) and the planet Saturn (who is exalted right now). Let the harmony of inhale and exhale, open and close, support your movements, your expansion goals, your physical, emotional and mental needs in the weeks to come. Soak in the abundance that is available to you as if it is a milk bath. And also take a milk bath! Use my new Moon/Emotional body MP3 for further harvesting. The majority of the day we continue to dance with Bhaga and Venus during Purvaphalguni. Let the themes from yesterday work their magic on you. Let your creativity continue to develop, gain awareness and find a new sense of abundance. As Moon moves into the later half of the Phalguni stars, UttaraPhalguni, at 16:31 CDT, we shift our focus to sustainability, the long haul, and what nourishes us for the distance. What do we need to fully utilize our creative potential? What feels necessary within our relationships and partnerships for them to offer satisfaction and harmony? Aryaman and the Sun bring a new layer of hope, a balm for the heart. He is also one of the twelve Adityas that offer resources for life and he does so through physical well being, strength in the body, and the things that long term committed relationships offer- support, stability, children, prosperity and the things that please the ancestors. Since the symbol for the Phalguni stars is a bed (front half and latter half) the metaphor "making your bed and lying in it" is truly applicable here. What type of bed do you sleep on? What kind of sheets do you use? How many pillows do you need to support your head? What direction does your bed face? Who sleeps with you? Or do you sleep alone? Do you make your bed each day or leave it disheveled? How much time do you spend in this restorative and supportive place? Let your bed be the speaker of truths and share its secrets with you. Moon moves to Virgo at 23:13 CDT, joining Rahu there, receiving direct gaze from Ketu. Thursday, July 31st Themes continue from yesterday as the majority of the day the Moon is still transiting through Uttarphalguni. Invite in the nourishment, support and sustenance. Where can a new drop be found? Where can another layer be shown to you? Who can become a gift to your heart today with their kindness? And what do you offer the world in return? This is the gift you wish to see in the world. Share, offer, guide and gift others with your true nature- abundance and light. As Moon sits with Rahu, the doubt and the anxiety may prevent the feeling of abundance from truly showing its light to us. Our experience is shrouded or in some instances, amplified and extra charged. Be a witness. Use a three level check in to harvest your inner knowing and identify what is. Then use this identification for further creative harvesting rather then letting it control you unconsciously. At 19:14 CDT, Moon moves into Hasta nakshatra, inviting in Savitr and the Moon into our awareness. Awakening is the theme and the offering of Hasta and Savitr. Not a full on burn from the Sun, but that delicate slice of light that gently arrives on the horizon line in the early hours of morning. It is silent and brave and filled with potential. That is Hasta and his gift to us. Watch the little sliver of light share its magic with you today. Let this light turn to wisdom and insight. The best gifts are shared, so remember to offer it some tea, invite it to stay a while, and ask it how you should best give this precious gift to others. With Rahu and Moon together right now in Virgo, ask yourself how you can share with the world in a bigger, grander way. Ask and you shall receive. Friday, August 1st The entire day is ruled by Hasta, the light of Savitr, and the silent awakening; potential. Seeds are beginning to germinate. Be sure to give them a soft, gentle shower, some fresh air and bit of sunshine in order to feed them properly. Listen carefully. Roots and shoots are spreading, growing, turning into something alive and awake. You are this tiny seed and you are growing a garden right now. Potential is everything. Go for the gold. Moon nears closer and closer to Rahu and our visions get bigger and bigger. Do they gain focus and grounding or lose it? Do we get lost in smoke and mirrors or can we traverse the illusions of grandeur with impeccable awareness? Work with your shadows, don't get lost in them. Use my new Moon/Emotional body MP3 for further harvesting. As the night takes over, Moon moves into Chitra nakshatra, enlivening Vishvakarma and Mars, joining Rahu in this nakshatra. We will be working with sparkle and shine, action and in-action tomorrow. Make sure you get your beauty rest. Dream about adornments, acts of service and great artistic feats. Avoid intoxication and actions that you will later regret. Saturday, August 2nd Moon and Rahu are in exact conjunction in the first half of the morning as Moon nears the edge of Virgo. Rise and shine or sleep in? Moon moves to Libra at 10:31 CDT, joining Mars and exalted Saturn here, but still in Chitra nakshatra. Our work with stops and starts amplifies. Surrender or force? Vishvakarma helps us build, plan, take action steps that give lasting results. Take a step today in the right direction and let it have a ripple effect on you and your outlook. Today is a good day to work with boundaries. Say no when you mean no and yes only when you mean yes. You can't please everyone, and shouldn't. Can you be firm in your needs by putting yourself first? It's not about being nasty or rude, just firm. That is often the most compassionate choice for all involved. As Moon nears Mars today, watch for getting hot around the collar. Be tactful and diplomatic, but avoid rash, angry decisions. For some this will be a very productive day. A three level check-in might be in order. What is coming up right now? Name it. Aim it. Claim it. Sun moves into Ashlesha nakshatra at 21:36 CDT. The triple nourishment of exalted Jupiter, Mercury and Sun all in Pushya nakshatra shifts now. Mercury is heightened as well as Sarpa, snake energy. Will deception, illusions and over confidence bring new learning, understanding and growth to us? Or will the ego build walls up around the heart so that we miss the truths of the times? The coming weeks will prove valuable for growth. Seek wisdom and awareness, not shadowed thinking- as you will miss the valuable memos if you aren't careful. Moon moves to Swati nakshatra at 23:19 CDT. Sunday, August 3rd Remember, this week only, get 15% off all my services and products. Today is the last day to take advantage of this offer. Use code WaxingMoon15 at checkout. Moon transits Swati nakshatra and is in exact conjunction with Mars at 14:43 CDT. The heat is on and it's being fanned by the winds of Vayu! Super charged and activated or super hot and bothered? Notice where your life is feeling burdened, slowed down, where you are forcing change and feeling like you are getting no where. That's the place that needs your surrender, not more force. Perhaps relationships are requiring strong boundaries. Use them. This is a practice run and Mars and Saturn are giving you ample opportunities to try your yes and no dynamics out. How is it going so far? Remember, one step at a time... Moon nears Saturn late in the evening and our surrender button is activated (or should be). Let Saturn's structure and need for stability rule your actions. Early to bed, nourishment through self care, and only focus on what matters. If you need to empty your head, write out your to-dos and next weeks goals in order to lighten your load and keep the wind from blowing your thoughts around too much. Calming practices will help keep the Vata in check. Abhyangha and warm bath might be in order for tonight. Don't forget a three level check in. Was this post helpful? Please share it with a friend! Thank you. This is one powerful week! As the Moon is waxing and ripening into fullness on the 11th, with it comes Guru Purnima, the most auspicious full Moon in the Vedic Calendar. Just after this Rahu and Ketu change signs and Mars moves to Libra- signaled by an exact conjunction of Rahu and Mars as they cross each other. As if that's not enough, Venus moves to Gemini as all the heat is happening. Energy is hot, extreme and full of momentum this week. Be careful this week and into the next but enjoy the sudden changes coming.
Need some extra guidance and clarity? Schedule a session with me. Monday, July 7th Moon transits Libra, sandwiched in between a sandhi Rahu and a retrograde debilitated Saturn while in Swati nakshatra. Moon nears conjunction with Saturn throughout the day and moves to Vishaka nakshatra at 16:18 CDT. Moon and Saturn are in exact degrees at 21:10 CDT and then Saturn crosses and begins to separate with Saturn into the late evening. Be gentle with the emotions today. Whenever Moon and Saturn connect, grief and tears are likely. Attend to your needs around, sadness, loss and disappointments. Monday starts off with momentum, movement and change as Moon is in Swati and Vayu, the wind god and Rahu enliven the winds of change in and around us. Use this momentum as strength- to build and create what you are working towards. Feeling the shifts yet? Possibility is on the rise. As Moon moves into Vishaka later in the day, a different essence enlivens as Indragni and Jupiter take over. Focus on support, alliances, team building and gaining allies for your projects and ideas. Teamwork and laying a solid foundation with support is a great use of time and effort. Venus moves from Rohini into Mrigashirsha nakshatra at 21:02 CDT, heightening the movement at play with the planets this week. The symbol of Mrigashirsha is the deer which exemplifies the fickle nature of this lunar star. Mars is the ruling planet here, but Soma is the deity (personification of the Moon). How can change and sudden movement be nourishing for us? What changes need to be made in the coming weeks with regard to your relationships, creativity, passion and desires in order to bring more harmony, fluidity and joy into your life? Take action steps towards change but focus your attention and intention on being flexible and fluid. Go with the flow, but direct the flow simultaneously. Tuesday, July 8th Moon transits Vishaka nakshatra, enlivening Indragni and Jupiter and moves from Libra into Scorpio at 10:03 am CDT. Moon is debilitated in Scorpio which heightens sensitivity, receptivity and intuition. Always pay attention to your emotions during Scorpio Moon days. Moon receives gaze from Jupiter and Venus in this position which can add a boon to our experiences. Seek expansion through creativity, flow, wisdom, ideas and possibilities. Relate, create, share, teach, advise, but listen closely to the subtle messages arriving within you. These are potent tools of guidance. Moon moves to Anuradha nakshatra at 15:52 CDT which connects our attention to details, friendships and blossoming awareness. Be mindful of the critic as well, since overly detailed (self) analysis is often experienced here. Befriend your critic and let Mitra and this friendly star remind you of both the micro and the macro lens that you are looking through. It's a great skill to see detail and it's also important to zoom out and see the big picture as well. Give your self credit for both of these skills and where they show up for you. This is another example of the open/close dynamic of the heart lotus, or heart center. Work with this theme of opening and closing more directly with my Jupiter/Ribcase mp3. Wednesday, July 9th Rahu and Ketu near the edge of Libra and Aries, both poised for change. We've been feeling the effects of them being sandhi (in the gap) for weeks now, but the portal is opening wider now. As planets near the junction point of change into a new sign, I see this as an open door. A planet is not fully in either sign, but dancing in the gap between two worlds. In this case, Rahu has opened the door to Virgo already and Ketu has opened the door into Pisces already. Likely you've been feeling the effects of this already as new possibilities, options and actions are bursting forth. Read more about sandhi planets and how they effect us. Moon continues in Anuradha nakshatra today, inviting in Mitra and Saturn's ways. Mitra is known for building friendships and alliances, while also having extremely impeccable attention to detail. Saturn's debilitation right now can make this fine detail turn inward and create excessive scrutiny upon ourselves- ie the critic. Make sure you are working with this, not against it. How can you zoom out and catch a bigger picture today? Moon moves to Jyeshta nakshatra at 14:38 CDT and the mental body kicks into gear. This can be good for finances, creativity and communication as well as goal setting and making plans. Just don't let the intensity push the mental body into overdrive. Indra steps into our day with Jyeshta and offers us his strength and guidance through wisdom. With gaze on the Moon from Jupiter and Venus, we may experience depth and understandings and a greater capacity for flow and harmony. Are you listening to the messages? Don't push or force. It is vital that you create space for the emotional body to share its needs as well. Get informed about this vital resource and make sure you aren't cutting and pasting over them. Thursday, July 10th Mars nears the edge of Virgo as Rahu edges towards the end of Libra. The momentum pre-collision builds! First day of my full Moon + Birthday Swati Jr Jewelry Trunk Show. Are you joining me? Moon continues through Jyeshta nakshatra and finishes its transit through Scorpio until 12:43 CDT when it switches into Leo and Mula nakshatra. Mula is ruled by Nirrti and Ketu. Expect this nakshatra to usher in some changes, a switching of gears and some level of uprooting as the symbol here is a bundle of roots and Nirrti is aligned with adharma (against dharma). Great insights however can be available to us as well, so seek the digging and go beneath the surface. That said, prepare for sudden shifts today and trust that this is making room for all the newness ahead! This message is amplified as Moon receives drishti (gaze) from a debilitated Saturn, a sandhi Mars and a very sandhi Ketu. Caution is recommended today- through the rest of the week. There's still time to join me at Bayou Bliss in Houston on Saturday for my full Moon workshop. Friday, July 11th The Moon moves to the 15th tithi at 10:03 am CDT, which is the final phase of the waxing cycle. It is ripe and full of the Sun's light and ready to shine brightly in the night sky. This marks the beginning of the Guru Purnima festivities and provides us with an especially full and powerful Moon. Considered the "fullest full Moon of the year", Guru Purnima is a particularly auspicious time in the Vedic calendar when we honor our gurus, teachers and guides for all the wisdom and illumination they have brought to our paths. The fullness can be felt in heart, in spirit, in our emotions and minds, as our cup is the fullest of the year right now and expressed through the power of the Moon! I wish each of you a powerful and sacred Guru Purnima. May your paths continue to be illuminated by fulfillment, great wisdom, and by satya, truth. There's still time to join me at Bayou Bliss in Houston on Saturday for my full Moon workshop. Just after the 15th tithi begins, Moon moves into PurvaAshada nakshatra at 10:16 am CDT. Ruled by the water goddess, Apas, and the planet Venus, this nakshatra brings with it clearing and cleaning, purifying and clarity. The symbol, being a tusk of an elephant, wisdom and Lord Ganesha are associated with PurvaAshada as well. There is sensitivity here, while also offering the ability to be fierce and severe. Think about water and what it can do for both clarity and purification and the sensitization process, as well as the way it can destroy! This is Apas! Use the soft and sweet with the harsh and severe today. How can these seemingly opposing energies be a force to be reckoned with? What can you clear and purify in your body, mind, spirit, emotions as a result? What needs to be removed or revitalized in your life? Saturday, July 12th The full Moon is in Sagittarius and PurvaAshada nakshatra at 06:24 am CDT. It's a full Moon poised for change and charged with movement, flow and momentum. With Apas ruling this powerful Guru Purnima Moon, so much energy and excitement is palpable and at our disposal. Be sure to use this Moon intentionally and sacredly. What lights you up, sparks you, and inspires the passion of your spirit? What fills your vessel and illuminates your soul? This is the time to dive deep within and harvest your precious pearls; your knowing. It is a time of giving thanks and gratitude for the wisdom in your life that has smoothed you over like water does to stone; like our gurus do for our paths. Apas is purifying us and guiding us with this full Moon. She is both harsh and severe, while also be gentle and soothing. She clears, cleans and purifies and does so through the heart and emotions. Let tears flow. Whether in joy or sadness or both. Let them wash your heart lotus and clean each petal. Create moments for being present to what is, to the silence and stillness that fills our sacred spaces within and all around us. Use this as your theme for the coming waning cycle: let the water smooth your rough edges, like water does to stone. I encourage you to do a mandala creative ritual for harvesting your mind, emotions and physical experiences. Here are some ideas. Third day of my full Moon + Birthday Swati Jr Jewelry Trunk Show. Are you joining me? And just as the full Moon expands, it begins to wane, losing its light, drop by drop. Moon begins to wane now and Rahu and Ketu are poised for their shift into Virgo and Pisces for the next 18 months. Moon shifts to UttaraAshada at 07:28 am CDT and Vishvadeva and the Sun are illuminated. The Vishva Devas are often referred to as the "all gods" because they are essentially universal principles, or the Laws of Nature. They bring goodness into our lives, when we align with their expressions. Do good, be good, essentially. Moon moves to Capricorn at 12:44 CDT. Rahu and Ketu move to Virgo and Pisces at 19:11 CDT. As Ketu moves from Aries into Pisces, it's considered a very challenging gandanta position- the junction between two sign. Aries is the beginning of the zodiac (the head) and Pisces is the end (the feet). And because Rahu and Ketu always move in retrograde motion, Ketu is essentially jumping from the beginning to the end, thus starting a new cycle for each of us. It's been 18 years since Ketu was in Pisces and Rahu in Virgo. This is a new beginning in many ways. Likely we are each feeling its poignancy. However, Ketu will be fresh in Pisces without much awareness of this "new cycle" yet. Reflect on your past 18 years for guidance. What are you cutting out and restructuring in your life? What are you letting go of and finding freedom from? Go there with zeal and make plenty of room for the changes. Read my full report here. Just as Rahu shifts into Virgo, he collides with Mars who is in deep sandhi, poised to move into Libra- while Venus is sandhi and ready to move into Gemini. A collision of shadow and warrior is heightened here. Obsessions and cravings enliven with our action (not thinking) oriented self. This is a time of impulse and activation and can go many different ways. Caution and care are advised- with driving, relationships, with finances, expenses, desires, romance and comforts. The tendency is to miss the obvious when it comes to these matters and to act rashly in ways that we may regret. Best to sit this one out as much as possible and use this time to keep cool and calm where you can. Nourish your self in healthy and harmonious ways and stay out of trouble. Mars and Rahu stay in close degrees through next week. Sunday, July 13th Moon moves to Sravana nakshatra at 04:29 am CDT and Vishnu and the Moon enliven here. Vishnu is connected to akasha, space, which exists everywhere. He expands our awareness, perception, knowledge and understanding. He protects and upholds dharma. One of the symbols of Sravana is an ear because of the oral tradition and because Sravana means "to hear, to study and to learn". Listen carefully today. Messages are coming to you from everywhere. What wisdom can be gained when you let there be more silence and less action? Or can your action come from the depths of your silence instead? yogastah kurukarmani Established in yoga, perform action. -Bhagavad-Gita (chapter 2, verse 48) Venus moves into Gemini at 10:22 am CDT, joining Mercury and Sun there. Venus transits Gemini until August 7th. Mercury is friends with both Sun and Venus. Venus is friends with Mercury but not with the Sun. Sun is fine with Mercury but not with Venus. We get a mixture of results here. Heat, precision, mental acuity are strengthened. The reminder during this transit is to be flexible and flowing. Notice where you are being rigid, fixed, heated, aggressive (with your self and others) and not being compassionate. Compassion, mind you, does not mean being a doormat. True compassion can come with finely attuned boundaries and parameters. Perhaps this cycle will offer the necessary adjustments we are all seeking within our relationships, our creativity, attitudes and communications. There are certainly plenty of opportunities to work with these themes in regard to the other planets. Start now. Mercury moves to Ardra nakshatra at 17:02 CDT. If there wasn't enough movement, intensity and calamity for us right now, enter Rudra and Rahu into our mental body for the next 11 days. With Ardra comes much power. How will you use this power? For destruction (of Self or others) or will you use it for change, creation, and building momentum in your life? The mind is a powerful thing, use this tool with purpose. Mars and Rahu are in exact degrees at 18:00 CDT. The themes continue of the "intoxicated warrior". Are you conscious of your actions, or pushing through with no awareness? Avoid overdrive. Use neutral. Use your pause button. Breathe. Mars moves to Libra at 21:24 CDT, joining debilitated Saturn here. The energy of Saturn and Mars is "lurchy". You've got one foot on the gas (Mars) and one foot on the breaks (Saturn) and the flow is not happening smoothly. No farfigneugen here! Mars remains in Libra with Saturn until September 4th. So expect a lurching energy with all Libra matters. This includes themes around relationships, the "other", our mirror, the pelvic region, finding balance and harmony, business and the markets, masking and unmasking, depth and surface, creativity, stability and structure. Read more about Mars and his funky dances in and out of Libra this year. And use my Mars feet/legs MP3 for help with Mars's energy. Whew. What a week! The biggest changes have occurred, now we get to live the unfoldment of it all. Need some extra guidance and clarity? Schedule a session with me. Plan your week in tune with Nature. Never miss my Moon Mind Calendar. Sign up for my newsletter. And if you like this post, please share it! Moon is waxing this week and transits through Cancer, Leo, Virgo and into Libra. The intensity of the changing planets builds. Rahu and Ketu are sandhi as they prepare to move signs on the 12th. Mercury is sandhi and retrograde (until the 1st) and at the edge of Gemini most of the week. Saturn is retrograde in his sign of exaltation (Libra), and is thus debilitated. The cushion comes from exalted Jupiter and Venus in its own sign of Taurus. Regardless, use precaution this week. Next week will come with its own set of warnings as Rahu and Mars conjunct. For now, be mindful of the emotional impact the nodes can have on us, as well as the delicate states of Mercury (mental body) and Saturn (physical body). Mind your mental body and your physical body this week and attend to anger, rigidity and over thinking.
Monday, June 30th Moon transits its own sign of Cancer with exalted Jupiter. Both receive gaze from a compromised Saturn. Moon moves into Ashlesha nakshatra at 1:18 am CDT. Sarpa and Mercury rule this nakshatra and activate themes of deception, illusion and overconfidence as serpent energy is apt to do. Sarpa is a small snake and connected to the north node, Rahu as a result of his serpent energy indicates. There is also a connection to wisdom (of the occult variety) and mysticism through Sarpa which can bring awakenings. Snakes medicine is all about transformation and regeneration. Today can offer a spectrum of possibilities from inner transformation and awakening to worldly advancement and changes. There may be illusions or delusions working their charms on us, so be mindful of what you are feeding your serpent self; your cravings and desires. Mental body will be trying to run the show today and spinning his usual stories of mayhem on auto pilot. Use this to inform your process, but don't let it run the show and drag you through the mud. Do a three level check in to see where you are in mind, body and emotions. Then take it into a poem or song. Let your words work some magic on you. Tuesday, July 1st Moon moves to Leo and into Magha nakshatra at 4:18 am CDT. Pitr and Ketu enliven at this time and bring about a day of change and transformation. Mercury goes direct at 7:46 am CDT. We may wake up feeling ready to take forward action- at least mentally. Clean up phase is complete for this round of Mercury retrograde and the mind starts thinking in a more linear way now. This may bring greater clarity to our life process and allow us to think more clearly about progress rather than all the steps we are retracing. Sometimes this can help us see where we need to get clearer and more focused with our personal agendas. However, Mercury is at the very edge of its own sign, Gemini, right now. We get the taste of mind in a harmonious sign, yet "weak" and in the gap simultaneously. This may make the clarity we get be very subtle and intuitive instead so listen up for the gentle messages that come. If you miss them, don't worry, they will get much louder in the coming weeks. But try to catch the memos before they start shouting. Read more about sandhi planets here. Today has a quick, fast and fierce kind of feel to it. Overwhelm or calamity may set in as a result. Make sure you are taking time to breathe and attend to your physical needs as our overdrive mechanisms might be kicking up. Anger and outbursts, eruptions and tantrums, are likely inside and out so listen carefully to the underlying messages. What is the need that is not being attended to? What are the changes in you that must be made to create less friction? Action abounds right now with the planets. Let this influence you and your awareness about change and transformation. Need some guidance and clarity? Schedule a session with me. Wednesday, July 2nd Moon moves to PurvaPhalguni at 7:20 am CDT. Bhaga and Venus rule the day. Bhaga brings us resources as he's an Aditya, and can offer a sense of wealth and happiness. Changes continue today, but we start to see and feel the silver lining. Let expansion be your guide and fill the spaces in your life with possibility and purpose. Grow to your edges and let nourishment support you. Let fluidity be a reminder and soften into your edges (especially from the mental body). Dream, day dream, and think big. Use watercolors to paint your dreams into reality. Appease the mental body by making a list of your action steps in the coming weeks and how they get you to the next big goal. You don't have to have it all figured out to take some steps forward. Plan your week in tune with Nature. Never miss my Moon Mind Calendar. Sign up for my newsletter. Thursday, July 3rd Moon moves to UttaraPhalguni at 10:12 am CDT. Sun and Aryaman help us find sustenance and endurance today. Think in terms of the big picture and the long haul in order to maximize your visions for expansion. Think big, but make sure you are thinking sustainably. What are the pieces that need to be put into place in order for your visions to take root? Get practical and be wise about your success. If you want to re-create your life, today's the day to plant some seeds of desire. Water them with clear actions and doable time frames. Ask for support and help from trustworthy resources and set up a cheer leading squad for encouragement along the way. The details might get more clear after 16:52 CDT, once Moon moves into Virgo and joins Mars there. “If you look the right way, you can see that the whole world is a garden.” - Frances Hodgson Burnett Friday, July 4th Exalted Jupiter moves into Pushya nakshatra at 8:11 am CDT. Let the nourishment begin! We may feel this as a turning point in our exalted Jupiter experience. Read the details in my exalted Jupiter article, part 2. Moon transits Virgo with Mars and moves into Hasta nakshatra at 12:42 CDT. Heat, action, fire and agendas enliven. Feeling it yet? The warrior energy of Mars is not a thinker, he's a doer. Are you being led astray today by auto pilot or are you just working efficiently and effectively? Take ample breaks. Hit the pause button and breath, stretch and get some fresh air. Savitr will allow us to experience some awakening today, but we must create room for it to arrive. In your quiet moments, repeat Gayatri mantra for assistance. Oṃ bhūr bhuvaḥ svaḥ tát savitúr váreṇ(i)yaṃ bhárgo devásya dhīmahi dhíyo yó naḥ pracodáyāt Saturday, July 5th Moon stays in Hasta the majority of the day, but nears Mars in the process. Yesterday's reminders still hold true, however the silence of Saturday (Saturn) may help us get to the core of the matter for effectively and efficiently. Hit pause intentionally today and cultivate some inner awareness with your emotions and actions. Let your foot off the gas and put it in neutral. Not feeling the ease? Consciously remove pieces off your plate and lighten your load. Heat, both inner and outer, is maximized as Moon and Mars conjoin, so take this into consideration as emotions intensify. Find moments to do a three level check in and use them for your creative process. If you need extra support with your action steps, use my Mars Legs/Feet MP3 for insights and harvesting. Moon moves into Chitra nakshatra at 14:39 CDT as it nears Mars. Chitra is ruled by Vishvakarma and Mars, so activation, action, and passion are enlivened on several levels as a result. Vishvakarma is the divine architect, "author of a thousand arts", and is associated with work and production. He is an Aditya and thus connected to resources and assistance. Vishvakarma is an incarnation of Lord Brahma, so his innate creativity is clearly connected to his offerings. This might be a good day to get busy and stay out of the frying pot! Finish up loose ends, projects that have been incomplete for weeks or months and find closure through production and creation processes. Nothing feels more gratifying than completing a task! If you are feeling particularly angry or agitated, take this into your work. See if you can't "work through it" on some level. Moon and Mars in exact conjunction at 20:29 CDT. Sun moves to Punarvasu nakshatra at 23:13 CDT. Aditi (mother of Oneness and all good) may offer a smoothing of any ruffled feathers during the previous days. As Sun moves into this nakshatra, the coming days will offer a sweeter harvesting of our emotional upheavals- giving purpose, power and poignancy to the process. Stay with it. Need some guidance and clarity? Schedule a session with me. Sunday, July 6th Moon moves to Libra at 3:21 am CDT offering yet another layer of peace and nurturing. Libra is the peace maker in many senses- offering us balance and the ability to "weigh and measure" our options. At it's best, Libra offers us balance and greater awareness in the process. At its worst, it offers confusion, indecisiveness or excessive fakery and pretending. Moon crosses sandhi Rahu here while most of us will still be sleeping (around 4am CDT) which may prevent our "eclipsed" natures to derail us. (Those on the other side of the world, take note.) However, Rahu and Saturn are still in Libra for another eight days, which means stormy weather, movement and changes of the Rudra variety are still applicable. Let the winds blow around you, while being present to your inner compass. Moon moves to Swati nakshatra at 15:53 CDT and the winds intensify. Vayu and Rahu pick up the pace and increase themes of momentum, change, movement and Vata imbalances. Make sure you attend to your "inner winds", or prana today. Get outside and move the body in order to get out of the mental body turmoil, spin and overwhelm. Get embodied. The tendency is to be disconnected from emotions during Swati nakshatra. Are you cutting and pasting over them? Emotional bypassing? Be sure to create room for the emotions and invite them in to your awareness today. Stay connected with a three level check in. Then use it for your movement practice by taking this into dance and somatic navigation. My Mars Legs/Feet MP3 is a great resource for this. Plan your week in tune with Nature. Never miss my Moon Mind Calendar. Sign up for my newsletter. And if you like this post, please share it! |
