Moon Mind :::
2.04 Mars moves to Libra at 1:22 am CST and joins Saturn and Rahu there. See this week's horoscopes for further details on this. Moon transits Pisces and Revati nakshatra until 16:57 CST when it moves to Aries and Ashwini nakshatra. This will likely create a noticeable shift in the day. Things begin swiftly today and Pushan brings his guidance and treasures to us on the path. Give gratitude and let him show you the easiest route to the reward. Time management will be very helpful. As Moon moves into Ashwini, the day shifts towards an edge of accomplishment, goals and action steps. Healing and new awareness take center stage. Look for insights and illumination as Moon nears Ketu. Moon in Aries receives drishti from Saturn, Rahu and sandhi Mars. Take action carefully and if you feel "out of step" the effects will be from sandhi Mars. Careful driving and traveling. Use your evening for rejuvenation and relaxation. Watch emotions for the next few days as Ketu and Moon conjoin in Aries. Anger, rage, frustration and impulse reactions are likely.

Moon Mind :::
12.11 Moon is waxing and in Pisces, transiting Revati nakshatra. Moon receives drishti from Mars. Expect some frustrations with communication and commerce today and use strategy to get all the pieces in place before taking action. Likely to be a busy and fast paced day so plan accordingly. Pushan, who rules Revati offers us safe and fruitful journeys for our efforts; he nourishes and supports us through simplicity. The symbol for Revati is a drum for keeping time. Small, goal-centered steps today are therefor vital. Create an action plan and cross things off your to-do list one at a time. 12.12 Moon moves to Aries, an enemy's sign, at 3:24 am CST and into Ashwini nakshatra. Moon sitting with Ketu for the next few days and receives drishti from the Rudra energy of Saturn and Rahu (in Libra) as well as Mars. Getting overheated? Anger and agitation ruling you and your day? Sudden emotional outbursts? Take a chill pill or a time out if necessary. Use creativity and self care to tend to your emotional upheavals and avoid taking your "stuff" out on others. We're all feeling it. Moon Mind :::
11.12 Moon in Aquarius and Purvabhadrapada nakshatra for the majority of the day. Ajaikapada is the ruler of this nakshatra- a form of Lord Shiva dancing on one leg. Today provides a balancing act and handling impossible feats with a bit of grace and (seemingly) some ease. Purification is happening. Go beyond the mundane. Emotions are sensitive and in a reactive state. Tend to your own needs. Self care is essential. Moon will be receiving triple drishti from Jupiter, Rahu and Mars at this time. Storm energy is here, but learning from it is possible. Take the higher road in your encounters. Later in the evening, Moon moves into Pisces and into Uttarabhadrapada (ruled by Ahirbudhynya, a naga, or serpent deity) and outside of Jupiter, Rahu and Mars's triple drishti, yet still receives Mars's gaze while sitting in a sign ruled by Jupiter. This evening and tomorrow, get nourishment and expansion through wisdom and steadiness. The intuition is sharp. There is more being offered than meets the eye though, so look beneath the surface for answers and solutions. Venus moves to PurvaAshada nakshatra near the end of the day. Expect cleansing and purifying from the water goddess, Apas. Let energy move in and out freely over the coming weeks. Go with the flow, but make changes and adjustments as needed. Be fierce if called to action. 11.13 Later this evening, Moon moves to Revati nakshatra. The mind seeks nourishment and connection. Divine orchestration from Universal Ma is possible today. Pushan, protects, nourishes and provides fruitful journeys for us as well. Today and the next are about trusting the process and gaining the resources needed for growth and forward momentum. Things may move swiftly. Run with it. Moon Mindfulness ::: Mind Your Moon
05.07.13 Moon transiting Pisces in Revati nakshatra until 17:36 CDT when it moves into Aries and Ashwini nakshatra- joining Mercury, Ketu, Mars and Sun. Revati nakshatra is ruled over by Pushan, the deity of safe travels and nourishment. He tends the flock and finds the strays, those that are lost, and brings them back. There is a sense of family and tribe here since the flock represents our first chakra needs. Pushan protects and also can help us locate hidden treasure. Since Revati is ruled by the planet Mercury, but Tuesday is the day of Mars, we are working with these two energies today. Look to the mind and intuition today and notice your response. Mercury and Mars are in very close degrees right now and neither get along too well with each other. Mars is action, Mercury is thought and introspection. There is a tendency to over do it as a result. This dynamic can bring a tussle between heart and mind, taking effective action steps, effective communication and so on. Be a gentle spirit today and go for nourishment. Pushan will be guiding and nudging you towards the safest, surest path. Trust his guidance and support, which may require the utmost surrender. Let Pushan bring the mind back to center, to focus. Let him prod you gently forward. When Moon moves to Ashwini, the focus will shift. The surrender, the insight and the healing will kick in. Your job is to be receptive. Moon Mindfulness ::: Mind Your Moon
4.09.13 A powerful day as five planets align in Pisces, four of which are in Revati nakshatra, including the Moon. Mercury moves to Pisces (its sign of debilitation) today at 15:08 where it joins Moon, Mars, Sun and Venus there. All planets in Pisces are considered Sandhi (in the gap) in very "weak" degrees. Though the moon will only be Sandhi for part of its passage in and out of Pisces, the nature of the Moon is to mutate and merge with its environment, so it will be colored by the rest of the house and its inhabitants. When planets are Sandhi, they are literally in the nether-realms, neither here nor there. It can be a very spiritual placement for a planet and the weakness can become a strength if utilized properly. However, Sandhi indicates vulnerability and often confusion, as well as a lack of clarity. The planet is not in the relative world. Today is an essential day for meditation and silence. Find the time to align with your sacred Self. Revati is ruled by the deity Pushan and the importance of his qualities are particularly apropos for the times. Read the significance of this week and Pushan's role in it via my article below. He is the guardian of the Path, sets us properly on our way, gathers those who have strayed. He is the nourisher, protector, and is instrumental in fruitful journeys and transitions. We are all in transition right now and carving a new Path for our selves with the beginning of a new cycle of the zodiac moments away. Pushan's symbol is a drum for keeping time. One beat at a time, one pulse, Pushan is helping us step forward. The rhythm of the heartbeat keeps us moving forward in proper pace, bringing us back when we lose focus and helping us transcend space and time concurrently. Find your rhythm. Find your life-step. Find your dance. |
