New Moon Wisdom
Theme for the coming waxing cycle: Be bold in your actions and let your ancestral legacy remind you of what is important for your actions and intentions. New Moon is on Monday, August 25th at 09:12 am CDT in Leo and Magha nakshatra. Moon is conjunct Sun (also in Magha) and Mercury, also in Leo. Magha nakshatra is ruled by Ketu, the southern lunar node responsible for restructuring and cutting attachments. The deity that presides over Magha is Pitr, who is connected to the ancestors, lineage and karma. There is authority here and sometimes ego and arrogance can arise if not checked with awareness. We are effected by seven generations before us, and we effect the seven generations to come. It is an important part of Magha, to be conscious and aware of these effects, how our ancestors and lineage play into our own life experience and what the fate of our lineage will be as a result of our own actions. Magha and Pitr are reminders to create powerful and effective karmas that leave lasting, positive results for generations to come. We may ask ourselves during Magha what our legacy is and what actions we need to take in order to create a strong legacy. This new Moon gets sparks of imagination and can fuel our desires for future actions. Let intention be a strong guiding force in the coming weeks and listen intently to your solar power, your gut instincts and your inner light. Get creative, get bold, and take strong action steps towards your desires. What are the big goals you are moving towards and what actions need to happen in order to make this happen? With Sun in its own Sign right now, we can all make some hay while the Sun shines and get some lasting results because of it. Get ambitious, think big and shine your light. Your efforts will pay off- especially if they please the ancestors. Use the coming weeks of the waxing Moon to take action (karma) and align more intentionally with your ancestral legacy. Ask the ancestors to help you affirm your path and offer their insights and wisdom to you. Pay attention for clues, omens and metaphors that arrive. Acknowledge the gifts they may offer you. Give gratitude and blessings for their assistance and the awareness they bring. New Moon Creative Ritual for the Waxing Moon Cycle We start with an empty cup, the Moon completely empty of the Sun’s light. This time of inward introspection can offer gentle insights and intuitive guidance, so be still in order to catch the subtle wisdom coming to you. As the Moon slowly gains light and expands, so does the swelling of our hearts, minds and actions. For this Creative Ritual, we will use the prompting of Pitr to inspire us. Draw three circles on a large piece of paper. Label each one of your circles as past, present and future. Within each circle create an image using color, texture, shape and images that express your experience of past, present and future. Give each circle a title to capture the felt sense of the image. Then answer these baseline statements: I am____ I want____ I need____ Harvesting Questions: What is one part of your lineage that you can honor, respect and give gratitude for? How has your ancestral line influenced your life experience? What am I doing the same as my family system? What am I doing differently? What do I wish to create for my self and my life as I move forward? Need some extra guidance and clarity? Schedule a session with me. Plan your week in tune with nature. Moon is waxing and passes through Cancer, Leo, Virgo and into Libra this week.
Monday, June 2nd Moon transits through Cancer (its own sign) and is in Pushya nakshatra the majority of the day. Moon in Cancer receives drishti (gaze) from retrograde Saturn, and Pushya nakshatra enlivens its ruler, Brihaspati (another name for Jupiter). However, this nakshatra is in fact ruled by Saturn, so we get direct access to the expansion (Jupiter) and contraction (Saturn) elements today. The dynamics of Saturn at play with the Moon can bring a restrictive feeling. Saturn is our grief and suffering and the Moon is our emotional body, so you may feel like you're being wrung out like a wet towel. Jupiter expands and opens, whereas Saturn contracts and restricts. Moon in Cancer is a direct connection to all matters of the heart. Use the metaphor of the heart to serve you today. The natural open and close, inhale and exhale of the heart and breath is a lovely reminder of how both these elements are necessary for life. This is the ultimate balance. Nourishment can be harvested and received with some surrender today. Harvest for the golden nuggets with extra self care. How can we use structure and restraint today in order for nourishment? Attend to your inner needs. Find nourishment and support in the slow, small, and steady. Seek the gentle silence. Work with expand and contract, open and close principles as well as the other dynamics of the heart lotus while Moon is in Cancer. Find my Exalted Jupiter & Heart mp3 here for greater creative awareness and support with this dynamic. Later in the day, Moon moves to Ashlesha nakshatra at 18:19 CDT, heightening its deity Sarpa (snake energy) and the planet Mercury (who is currently transiting its own sign, Gemini). Mind over matter strengthens into Tuesday. Embodiment will be crucial this evening and tomorrow. If you have trouble sleeping tonight, do an abhyanga (Ayurvedic oil massage) and take a warm bath before bed. Pranayama may help silence the mind as well. Tuesday, June 3rd Moon transits its own sign of Cancer and Ashlesha nakshatra through out the day and into the evening. This nakshatra is ruled by Sarpa and the planet Mercury; the symbol is a coiled serpent. Serpent energy is connected to a bit of mischief; deception, the illusions of life and overconfidence. Think: north node, Rahu who is the "head of the serpent", or the head of our shadow self. Look for excessive cravings today. Where are you wanting more? Where are you needing extra support and nourishment? Where is the mind leading you astray? Ask for your needs to be met. Make a list of what is feeling nourishing and supportive in your life and relationships. Make a list of what isn't feeling supportive and nourishing. Where can you make some adjustments? What needs to be said that you are avoiding? What poisons are you feeding your Self from the Mental Body? Seek clarity. Seek comfort. Align with support. Moon moves to Leo and Magha nakshatra at 21:18 CDT, enlivening our masculine/Sun energy. Wednesday, June 4th Venus moves to Bharani nakshatra at 03:57 am CDT. Sensitivity heightens with relationship matters over the next two weeks. Be perceptive to your own needs and use self care for extra support. There are transformations and endings likely with relationships, creativity and all Venus matters. This is a time of cleaning and clearing, restructuring and creating new contracts. These themes are heightened due to Venus's conjunction with Ketu in Aries right now. Remember, letting go creates space for new possibilities to arrive. Moon transits Leo and Magha nakshatra today. A nice exchange occurs between Leo (ruled by the Sun who is currently transiting Taurus) and Taurus (ruled by Moon who is transiting Leo today). This can give a boost to the emotions, a sense of encouragement and support, and bolster the spirit. Some may feel extra agitation and annoyance, a lack of support and the desire to force change. You might feel a shift within some of your relationships today. We are all in a pruning phase right now. Changes are inevitable. New contracts are being created, while old one's disintegrate. As Magha nakshatra is ruled by Pitr and the karma of the ancestors, take time for gratitude and thanks for your lineage and those that have come before you. It might also be valuable to take stock of familial patterns and where this conditioning is serving you or not serving you. Thursday, June 5th Moon moves into Purvaphalguni nakshatra just after midnight at 00:11 am CDT. Ruled by Bhaga (an Aditya connected to resources and abundance) and the planet Venus, Purvaphalguni is incredibly creative and fertile; ripe with possibility. Use this as the focus of your day. How can you invite in more creativity, more connection, more opportunities for growth and abundance into your life? What feels nourishing and supportive within your relationships? What needs to shift? Invite in more joy, play and pleasure today and see if some of it can stick! This is a great day to get out the paints, oil pastels and do one of my creative rituals. Need some support? Sign up for one of my upcoming creative workshops. Friday, June 6th Moon transits into Uttaraphalguni nakshatra at 02:47 am CDT, which is the latter half of the Phalguni stars. At 09:21 am CDT, Moon moves into Virgo, joining Mars there. Uttarphalguni enlivens Aryaman (an Aditya that gives health and bodily strength) as well as the Sun. This constellation connects us to sustainable parts of life, particularly those that sustain relationships and are connected to the ancestors. Need to create a contract or make something feel more solid and sustainable? Today's a good day for that type of endeavor. Most of us will feel a lift in the heart, extra support from loved ones. Make sure you do the same for others and remember your gratitude! Some may feel a rub and agitation with relationships. Take stock. What shifts do your personal boundaries need? Saturday, June 7th Mercury goes retrograde in Gemini at 06:54 am CDT. Need a reminder about what his backpedaling will offer? Find more here. Moon Moves to Hasta nakshatra at 04:52 am CDT as it nears Mars, also in Hasta nakshatra. Hasta is ruled by Savitr and the Moon. Savitr is the dawning of consciousness, awakening, and brings knowledge and great insight. He enlivens the hands and is connected to jyotish. Pay close attention to your intuition today as harvesting your inner wisdom will be palpable if you are listening. Recite Gayatri Mantra for extra support. Moon and Mars are in exact degrees at 18:31 CDT. Sharp intuition and awareness abounds, yet simultaneously, we may be feeling agitation and aggression as Moon and Mars make their conjunction. Anger is our red flag that personal boundaries are being crossed and that we aren't feeling supported in some way. Do an emotional audit. What needs to shift in your relationships? Where do you need to say no, instead of yes? Sunday, June 8th Sun moves out of Rohini and into Mrigashirsha nakshatra at 00:41 am CDT. Soma, the nectar of the Moon and the planet Mars are enlivened for the next two weeks with this dance of the Sun. We may feel noncommittal in the coming weeks, and find challenges making choices in regard to relationships. Remember that Venus's transit through Bharani is helping us restructure our contracts. The themes of change, movement and new alignments abound. Moon transits to Chitra nakshatra at 06:17 am CDT. Ruled by Vishvakarma and the planet Mars, today is a day of action. Vishvakarma, the celestial architect, calls upon us to take action (karma) and provides resources that we can "build upon". What are you moving towards? What are you moving away from? Take an action step today. Join me for part 3 of my virtual workshop series the Creative and Cosmic Self, where we will be exploring: Moving with Support and Stability. Working with Saturn in Libra & the Pelvis. Get the details. Moon transits into Libra at 18:42 CDT, joining Rahu (also in Chitra) and Saturn here. Our emotional body (Moon) joins the Rudra (storm) energy of Rahu and Saturn's conjunction. Work with what is, do not avoid or neglect. Explore the emotional body and let it provide you with resources. Remember, with Mercury retrograde right now, we are all retracing steps, while simultaneously gaining momentum for moving forward. Plan your week in tune with Nature. Never miss my Moon Mind Calendar. Sign up for my newsletter. And if you like this post, please share it! Moon is in its waxing phase now (shukla paksha) and moves through Cancer, Leo and into Virgo this week.
Monday, 5.05 Moon transits Cancer, its own sign, and is in Pushya nakshatra today. Ruled by Brihaspati and the planet Saturn, there is nourishment attainable today- especially from things that are structured and established, old and enduring. Look to lineage and wisdom for guidance. Brihaspati is another name for Jupiter, priest to the gods, and wisest of the planets. The rules of Jupiter apply to Brihaspati as well. Read more about Jupiter in my Exalted Jupiter article. From this position in Cancer, the Moon receives drishti (gaze) from Saturn ten houses away, which can make the Moon feel depressed, saddened or unable to fully experience the nourishment present. If your mood is blue or indigo today, use self care as a valuable resource. Nourish your Self from the inside out. Do a "support audit" and make a list of all the places you are getting your needs met. Then give some gratitude for what you do have. Move your physical body and let the emotional body flow as well. Tuesday, 5.06 Moon is still in its own sign of Cancer today, but moves to Ashlesha nakshatra at 10:32 am CDT. Serpent energy is enlivened today through Sarpa. You might find support with worldly aspirations today, but a mischievous mind needs to be tempered. Watch your appetite! Are your cravings getting the best of you? Are your desires ruling your actions? Pay attention to the pressures you are putting on your self. Financially and otherwise. Cut back where you can. Play nice. Meditate and channel your desires into transcendence. "Anyone can hide. Facing up to things, working through them, that's what makes you strong." - Sarah Dessen Wednesday, 5.07 Moon moves to Leo and Magha nakshatra today at 13:26 CDT. Pitr and Ketu, both rulers of Magha, can bring flashes of insight and awareness today. It is a day of Sun and shining, with some sparks and fire as well! Several layers of Sun and Ketu are enlivened today. Leo is ruled by the Sun, the Moon is in its 9th phase (tithi) today called Navami, which is ruled over by the Sun as well. Currently we have an exalted Sun transiting Aries, sitting there with Ketu. Invite in the shine and move into the power and light, but avoid getting scorched. Invite in support, ideas and awareness that bring possibility and excitement. Pay special attention to the ancestors today and give your gratitude at the altar. Curb the ego. Thursday, 5.08 Keep your sunglasses on (as per yesterdays post) until 16:06 CDT, when Moon moves into Purvaphalguni, one of the most creative and fertile of the 27 nakshatras. This lunar constellation is ruled by Bhaga and Venus. Bhaga is one of the 12 Adityas, the children of goddess Aditi (Punarvasu nakshatra). Adityas rule over the resources we have in this life, the support available to us. With Venus exalted currently, this can be a day that offers a wealth of support from love, friendships and relationships, as well as through creativity and money. Luck and ample creativity are afoot on this day of Jupiter (Thursday)! Love and be loved. Create and share. "Love and you shall be loved". ~Ralph Waldo Emerson Friday, 5.09 The love continues to flow like jala (water) on this day of Venus (Friday). Moon stays in Purvaphalguni the majority of the day, moving into the latter half of the Phalguni stars at 18:21 CDT when it moves to Uttarphalguni. This star is ruled by Aryaman and the Sun. It's a place where love and partnerships, romance and sexuality, find more stability and sustainability. Aryaman is also connected to the ancestors and is pleased by things that sustain lineage (ie. marriage and children). Since ample creativity is palpable again today, channel it effectively and share the fruits of your labor with others. Create, co-create, dance and sing. Enjoy quality time with your family. Enjoy the life you are creating for your Self! A further creative boost comes today as Mercury moves to Rohini at 12:14 CDT. The mind is moving towards creativity and connection. Inspire and be inspired! "Creativity is contagious. Pass it on." - Albert Einstein Saturday, 5.10 Moon moves to Virgo just after midnight at 00:50 CDT, joining retrograde Mars here. Both planets get direct drishti (gaze) from exalted Venus seven houses away. Yesterday's themes persist today as well since the Moon stays in Uttarphalguni most of the day. At 20:02 CDT Moon moves to Hasta as it nears exact conjunction with Mars. Some may feel divine inspiration from the Universal Mother, Ma. Learn, expand and look for the support that is ever present. Give your gratitude. Take any mental/emotional tensions into art and creativity. Dancing and singing will prove valuable. Gaze at the Moon to cool your eyes tonight. Sunday, 5.11 Hasta nakshatra rules the day and on into the night. Savitr and the Moon are enlivened today. Savitr offers his guiding light and helps us awaken. Use Gayatri Mantra to assist you with this. Moon crosses Mars mid morning, but their tight conjunction separates closer to noon. Watch for the emotional heat and mental tension mentioned yesterday. Don't let the mind get overheated. Sharp insights and intuitive wisdom can be found through the awakening of Savitr today. Carve out space and time to listen and be present to what arises. Give your gratitude to the divine feminine and her abundant nature. Don't suppress the urge to dance, vocalize, sing and express today. Move your body, let your artistry flow, and find insights and wisdom in subtle messages. Studying jyotish is ideal today. Join me for my Jyotish Basics workshop from 12 to 1pm CDT. Tonight: howl at the Moon. Never miss a Moon Mind Calendar. Sign up for my newsletter. 4.7
The 8th day of Navaratri, dedicated to goddess Saraswati. Moon is on the wax (Shukla Paksha) and the week begins with Moon in the 8th tithi at the end of Gemini and Punarvasu nakshatra. At 16:41 CDT Moon enters the auspicious ninth tithi (navami) while sandhi in Gemini, but moves to Moon's own sign of Cancer at 16:47 CDT (still in Punarvasu). In Cancer, Moon receives drishti from Saturn which offers a restrictive energy as well as one pointed focus. Punarvasu, however, gives expansion, clarity and a sense of wholeness from the deity Aditi "mother of all goodness". Look for both in the second half of your day- a fixed mode of expansion with a clear trajectory. Moon moves to Pushya nakshatra at 23:31 CDT. 4.8 Pushya nakshatra is ruled by Saturn and Brihaspati (another name for Jupiter) and offers nourishment, support, usually by providing us with knowledge and awareness. Today is the final day of Navaratri which culminates with the celebration of Lord Raam's birthday, Raam Navami. This is a potent and powerful day of activation. As the previous eight days of Navaratri provided a complete inner overhaul. First with the tilling of our internal soil through clearing and purging (Durga), then came nourishment and support for our seeds (desires) through Lakshmi's abundance, and then finally wisdom and clarity and a wealth of creativity has been offered through Saraswati so that our desires may blossom into a rich harvest in the days and months to come. Raam then provides the power and dynamism to take these silent gifts of the Divine Mother into action so that they may truly actualize. Historically, this is the day Lord Raam was born in Ayodhya and so we give honor and praise to his life and name as well. He was the seventh incarnation of Vishnu. Jai Ram!! 4.9 Moon moves to Ashlesha nakshatra in the wee hours of the morning. This is sarpa's nakshatra, ruled by Mercury. Sarpas are snakes, connected to Rahu (as opposed to the other type of snake, Nagas, which are connected to Ketu). Sarpas are sly and cunning, but offer insights and bring wisdom through their occult studies. Be mindful off illusion, deception and overconfidence today- which are attributes of both Sarpa and Rahu's nature. Currently Mercury is transiting Pisces (conjunct Sun) and transiting Uttarabhadrapada nakshatra which is ruled by Ahirbudhnya, a naga. The mental/emotional body is getting a chance for clarity today with a higher purpose. Get clear on what you need to do and trust your intuitive powers. 4.10 Moon moves to Leo and Magha nakshatra at 05:15 CDT. Magha is ruled by Ketu and Pitr, which relates to the ancestors, particularly the father's lineage. Karamas with power and authority arrive with this nakshatra. Moon receives drishti from Venus here, currently in Satabisha nakshatra. Do good work and uphold dharma, but avoid being overly critical to your Self and others. Works steadily today, but don't push too hard. Where are you overly connected to power and authority? 4.11 At 07:42 CDT Moon moves to Purvaphalguni nakshatra which is ruled by Bhaga and the planet Venus. It's Friday, day of Venus, so expect some fruiting and flowering- assisted by Bhaga of course, who rules relationships, harmony and sexuality. Jupiter's drishti to Venus helps the heart feel more expansive and relationships to feel a bit more harmonious. Though, Rahu's drishti to Venus as well can give too much of a good thing, or misjudgement. Listen closely. Does it feel good to your heart? Emotions? Do you feel supported and nourished? Are your needs being met? Look for warning signs and back up if necessary. Don't rush in too quickly. Sun becomes sandhi late in the evening. 4.12 Moon moves to the latter half of Phalguni, Uttaraphalguni nakshatra at 09:43 CDT which is in the final portion of Leo. Ruled by Sun and Aryaman, there is still a connection to relationships, however, he's more connected to lasting relationships than Bhaga is. Aryaman wants love, commitment and family life to be harmonious. With Sun sandhi in Pisces, in Revati nakshatra (ruled by Mercury), the "Self" needs may be weak today. Do what's best for group harmony today. Shine through communication, verbal affirmations and keep group dynamics in mind. Speak sweetly. Moon moves to Virgo at 16:09 CDT joining retrograde Mars there as well. Retrograde Mars moves back into Hasta nakshatra at 18:25 CDT. 4.13 Debilitated Mercury moves into Revati nakshatra at 10:33 CDT, ruled by Pushan who gives nourishment and safe journeys. Shortly thereafter, Moon moves to Hasta nakshatra joining Mars there at 11:13 CDT. The Moon and Mars conjunction brings heat to the emotions and there is a heightened tension with the mental body simultaneously as they are in a Mercury ruled sign (Virgo) receiving direct drishti from a sandhi Sun and debilitated Mercury. If tempers flair, it's probably due to pushing for too much, forcing an agenda that needs to be re-evaluated and having expectations that are too high. Today is calling for downsizing in a big way. As we near the Lunar Eclipse on the 15th (and Hanuman Jayanti), we need to have emotional/mental balance at the front of our needs list. Where can you do less and lower your expectations of your Self and others? Sun moves to Aries (its home of exaltation) for the next month at 20:42 CDT. This is a powerful placement and causes us to use our brute strength and the physical body to accomplish goals and agendas. But does the body comply? Do the mental and emotional bodies say yes as well? With the lunar eclipse and Full Moon arriving next week, we near the delicate two week period between eclipses (Annual solar eclipse on the 29th). This is a time to really be cognizant of working smarter, not harder. Though plenty of temptations will arise. More on all of this in next week's Planetary Transit + Horoscope Report. Sign up for my Newsletter and don't miss my updates! Moon is waxing this week (Shukla Paksha) and transits Gemini, Cancer (its own sign), and into Leo this week.
For a jyotish Moon-centered approach to your day, follow my daily Moon Mind posts via Face Book. Full Moon is on 2.14 in Leo and in Magha nakshatra at 17:51 CST. Many will be celebrating Valentine's Day as well and since it falls on a Friday, the fullness of the Moon will certainly expand our emotional capacity. This is a Full Moon that enlivens mother/father energies and both masculine/feminine paradigms. With Moon transiting a sign ruled by the Sun (and receiving direct drishti seven houses away from the Sun and Mercury) the mental/emotional bodies will be enlivened and activated, offering an increased capacity to feel, emote and express. Magha nakshatra is connected to Pitr and the planet Ketu. Karma, authority, lineage and a sense of duty come alive with this nakshatra as well as a heightened masculine energy. Leo, ruled by the Sun, is a natural leader and loves to take center stage, have a sense of power, and ideally offer its compassion and support to those they serve. Ancestral lineage (especially father's) will be enlivened with this Full Moon (and in the coming weeks) so listen for their subtle messages and offerings. Take a moment on this day to pause, pay your respects at the altar, light a candle and give gratitude to those who have come before you. Your lineage is urging you forward; your life and actions are ensuring this momentum. Devotion, love and service are always excellent ways to honor one's lineage. This is a "wild card" type of Full Moon in some ways with the connection to Ketu. Both Sun and Moon will be touched by the nodes through drishti. Look for sparks to fly! Let's just hope for the good kind of sparks! Sun moves to Aquarius on 2.12, joining Mercury there as well- both transiting Dhanishta nakshatra. Mercury and Sun receive drishti from Jupiter and Rahu in this position. Ruled by Vasu, which means wealthy, excellent and shining, the Vasu devas bring prosperity and fame to us. There is a lot of creativity with this star as well as the ability to "see" as it's connected to shining light on situations, sharing messages and also to growth on the material plane of existence. Mercury and Sun can offer material gains to us right now through re-tracing steps, making improvements on past actions and in general, refining our approach and tactics. Think big and be prepared to act with a sense of urgency. Keep your mind cool this week. Read more about retrograde Mercury here. Similar to exalted planets in that they are "full" and can't be "added to", a Full Moon (or Purnima) means that it is full to capacity, there's no more room for it to expand and grow; it is complete. In this way, we can interpret the Full Moon as a "New Moon" in that it marks the beginning of a new cycle of emptying itself and refilling itself (mirroring our internal process). Beginning a lunar month at the Purnima is called Suklanta and differs from starting the count from the New Moon (Amavasya) which is the point when the Moon is empty and is waiting to be filled by the Sun. Purnima is in the middle of the Lakshmi phase of the Moon cycle whereas Amavasya is the moment during the cycle where Kali and Durga meet. Clearly, the energy is quite different; mirrored in our internal experience as well. These different methods of starting the lunar calendar remind me of the saying "is your glass half empty or half full?!" When do we start our "New Moon" calendar and begin our new lunar month? When we are full and satisfied or when we are empty and needing to be nourished? It is with this question in mind that I came up with this week's Creative Engagement Activity. Read more about the importance of the Moon. For increased awareness, utilize my jyotish inspired Body-centered Expressive Art Therapy articles. Each week I post a new Creative Engagement Activity to help inspire your own unique creative process, Self-tracking, and to enrich your cultivation of presence. This week we tap into our emptiness and our fullness. It is a big year with multiple {major} planetary changes. We will experience the changes of Jupiter, Rahu and Ketu, Saturn and unusual movements of Mars all in the next eleven months. Big changes are in store for each of us! Feeling uncertain about your action steps? What needs to change in order for growth? What kind of support you need? Schedule a yearly progression with me in order to make your New Year a truly transformational year. *Horoscopes are based on your Vedic rising sign. You can also check your Moon and Sun signs for further insight. Do the same with your Navamsa signs for further clarity. Do not use these horoscopes with your “Western Sign” as there is likely no correlation. These horoscopes are meant to be used as a broad overview of the current transits and obviously do not address the specifics of an individual’s unique chart. Aries: Pay attention to heart, emotions and children this week. Relationships are offering insights, growth and challenges. What is working? What isn't? What are you willing to change? What are you learning? Use these lessons with both personal and work relationships. Let go of what is not working. All of it. Mind your health; its vital. Taurus: You are still going through creative and relational transformations. This week your career picks up speed and force. Continue to be in service and use your work as a healing force. What can your gut offer you? Listen carefully, it is a huge resource right now and can inform your life and actions. Gemini: Relationships continue to boost your career and offer some support even while some craziness persists with heart and passions. Strive for balance between your asura (demon) and god-self. You are working on your dance with them. Be bold in your creativity and courage this month and take some positive action steps to forward your Self. It's time to get really clear and laser focused on what your gifts and talents are- and use them. Cancer: This is an "inner to outer" week. Take what offerings you are receiving from your quiet, inner depths and share it later in the week. Heart is swelling and offering its insights and growth to you. Be sure to express your Self to friends, lovers and family. Sun dips into your 8th house this week and marks a "rest phase" for you. Use the coming weeks for inner transformation. Work silently and tend your inner fire; that way you'll come out of this transit refreshed. Meditate. Leo: Use creative prowess to inform your life and actions. Creativity is a perfect description of your inner experience and the potential you have for finding new and different approaches to your life right now. Be bold in your creative process and creative activation. Try new things. This creative awareness will help you navigate relationships in the coming weeks and can become a tool and resource. Virgo: Vocalize, communicate, sing, express, share. Seek comfort, support, nourishment. Ask for what you need and want. Retrace steps in order to pick up the pieces you dropped several miles back. Digest, integrate and restore. Attend to your heart creatively. Be mindful of bad habits and people that need to be pruned from your life experience. Libra: Feeling like you are between a rock and a hard place? Ease some pressure by letting go. Resistance is really holding you back. Can you ease up? Drop some burdens? Let go of expectations? This will be "best practice" in the coming weeks as you face some relational "wake up calls". Let go, let God. Become co-pilot. Scorpio: Your creative and harmonic voice continues to carry you through. What is your message? What are you expressing and voicing? Who are you becoming and what are you offering? Put it out there this week during the Full Moon and trust this coming month to be a refining process. Expect some pruning, but keep moving. Find your dance. Sagittarius: The experience of "excess" continues. Is it possible to find some balance when the asuras (demons) and gods are tussling with your inner/outer experience? Get clear, focused and determined about action. Put a plan in place and ask for support. There's a tendency to be complacent and frivolous with time right now. Try not to overly succumb to leisure, bad habits and don't let all the "rules" go. Getting ahead and moving forward requires your consistent diligence. Watch sugar and alcohol intake. Capricorn: I've said it before, I'll say it again: Power down. There's so much happening that you may lose some grounding. The push to succeed may be so strong right now that you are missing some of the important messages. What can you do differently this time around so you don't burn out? How can you resource your creative forces in order to create a different level of action and courage for your Self? Aquarius: If you are paying attention, you are quite aware of how powerful this time is and how much you are learning. This week affords a bit of digesting and integrating of the lessons, but later in the week, use these fruits with others- with both personal and work relationships. The coming month requires you to get really clear with others- but first that requires clarity with your Self. Two words: healthy boundaries. Pay attention to what you need and what needs to change. Pisces: Pull from your depths and the hidden parts of your Self in order to inform your career and offerings. What can you share that is currently hidden? What parts of your emotions, creativity and passions can be part of the offering? Your Sun is going into hiding for the month as it transits your 12th house. Use this time to reconfigure your Self; who and what you are. Meditate. |
