Moon is waning and is new on Saturday morning while in Scorpio. Let this week inform your emptying, your release, your letting go. These themes are alive and well right now as we have Venus, Sun and Saturn now in Scorpio. Monday, November 17th Today's Intention: Open and close the doors of your being with great intention. Moon moves to Virgo at 01:39 am CST, joining Rahu here and getting direct aspect from Ketu; he is still transiting Uttaraphalguni. Aryaman continues to rule our day bringing with him an extra dose of Sun as well. He rules the second half of the Phalguni stars and helps us with sustaining creativity, fertility and co-creation. Aryaman is connected to the ancestors, to lineage and to that which sustains and nourishes in a lasting way; as steady stream of creative intelligence. The next few days bring a certain intensity to our healing process. As Moon gets closer to Rahu, our emotional body connects deeply with our shadow self. Do we dance with these dark tides? Or do we get tossed around by them like a ship at sea? With three planets in Scorpio now, our depth, our shadow, and our darkness provides us with opportunity. Opportunity for growth and change, or opportunity for suffering and challenge. If you are going for change, navigate your ship by confronting what is. Pull from your depths and ask your shadow to share its gifts with you. Use your creative currents to help you navigate these waters. A three level check in will help with the identification process. Moon transits into Hasta nakshatra at 21:30, joining Rahu here in this nakshatra. Bring on the dance of shadow and light! Recite the Gayatri Mantra for awakening the magic and use your hands to activate and enliven your creative channels. Tuesday, November 18th Today's Intention: Step towards your darkness and ask it to share its gifts with you. Saturn and Sun are in exact conjunction at 02:34 am CST. As I've been mentioning in my recent posts, this is an important time of embodiment and harvesting from the wisdom of the body. The cosmos are inviting us right now to honor and deeply listen to the wisdom of the body. Are you ready to listen? Saturn and Sun's conjunction is an expression of this need to harvest from our inner resources. Saturn is the structure of the physical body, while Sun is the illumination of our soul. Frustrations arise with this combination when we resist, push too hard and force ourselves. Saturn and Sun conjunction can share with us the experience of ultimate burnout. Now is an excellent time to work with embodiment techniques, work with the now, resourcing from the needs of the physical body moment to moment. Here is some help for your process. Moon continues to dance through Hasta nakshatra, nearing exact conjunction with Rahu today. My suggestions from yesterday still prevail. How you choose to work with your shadow matters immensely. Rahu is our inner darkness, our demons (asura energy). He brings us our suffering, our illusion, our pains, our weaknesses and greatest challenges. Do you choose to negate this- or invite it in for deeper awareness? What can your own darkness tell you about your light? What gifts are lurking in your shadows? Let Savitr, the deity of our own dawning, and Hasta's ruler, help you bring in greater awareness today. Your courageous actions steps will be rewarded. Moon and Rahu are in exact conjunction at 23:08 CST. Moon moves into Chitra nakshatra at 23:29 CST. Wednesday, November 19th Today's Intention: Transform through creative activation and creative action steps. What transformation can you make today through creative activation, creative action steps? Moon has crossed over Rahu now, and has entered into Chitra nakshatra. This enlivens Vishvakarma and the planet Mars, the planet of karma yoga. As his name suggests, Vishvakarma is a deity of creative action. He is considered the cosmic architect, creative beyond measure. The awakenings that were enlivened yesterday, are now given an opportunity to shift and change through our action steps. Creativity is an ideal channel to move our hindrances, our blockages, that which is keeping us from our channels of light and inner light resources. The alchemical and transformational changes possible through creative acts have been well researched and documented. Are you using the arts as a resource for your healing? Here's why I mix jyotish and the arts in order for maximum awakening. Moon moves into Libra today at 12:15 CST, joining Mercury here. Sun moves into Anuradha nakshatra today at 13:26 CST, and Mitra helps us illuminate details, connections, and nourishment through our friends and support systems. These may be the missing pieces we need to fully integrate our changes and transformations. Let Mitra support you in the coming days and attract what you need for nourishment, support and greater connection. As Anuradha is ruled by Saturn, the physical body is an excellent resource for finding greater inner support and stability. Work with your physical structure as a tool of insight and awareness. Embodiment is a crucial resource as a result. With Venus in Anuradha right now as well (both conjunct Saturn in Scorpio), creativity and embodiment work are an ideal combination for gaining deep and meaningful insights. This is an ideal time for putting the pieces together by using the body and the arts. Thursday, November 20th Today's Intention: Move with your powerful internal winds, and harness your greatness. Sun begins to move away from close conjunction with Saturn but our diligence is still required with caring for our body, reducing burn out and resourcing with radical self care. Moon and Mercury are both in Libra right now and Mercury is in the same degree as Rahu and Ketu today, so additionally the mental body may be feeling frazzled and shadowed, worn down and worn out. This is yet another reminder to be caring for ourselves properly right now. Extra self care is essential. Be sure to use a three level check in to help you identify your needs. Moon moves to Swati nakshatra at 00:52 am CST, inviting in Vayu, the wind god, and a layer of Rahu into our day. Prana becomes an essential resource today. Let your internal winds dictate your needs. Work with the breath, not against it. Moon moves to the 14th tithi, or Moon phase. As the Moon continues to wane, nearing complete emptiness on Saturday, we continue to work with the theme of release and letting go, each in our own way. Today might be an ideal time to focus on your exhale, your out breath. Is your release complete? Here's a simple breath exercise to work with today: Inhale. What am I inviting into my body, my life? Exhale. What am I releasing from my body, my life? Friday, November 21st Today's Intention: We all have to serve somebody. Moon moves into Vishaka nakshatra at 01:34 am CST and the dual god Indragni as well as Jupiter enliven in order to share their gifts with us. Moon enters the final phase of its waning cycle today, the 15th tithi. Moon conjuncts Mercury today, so paying special attention to our mental and emotional body's today will be important. How do they inform each other? Self track and notice your dance between mental body and emotional body. How are they dancing with each other and what is your physical response to each of them? Indra and Agni combine in Vishaka nakshatra to help us learn how to co-create, join forces in order to strengthen ourselves, and to master community and interrelating. "Two is better than one" exemplifies Vishaka's nature. There is a dual nature here, which helps us examine the mirror, the other, in our lives. It helps us look at our polarities and the many different personas and masks we work with. What is your split personality? Your twin or alter ego? This is another one of your dances to be aware of today. Moon moves to Scorpio at 19:41 CST, joining Saturn, Sun and Venus there. All four planets receive drishti from Ketu and Jupiter. Moon is in exact degrees with Saturn as the day ends. Pay special attention to getting rest, tending to your physical and emotional needs tonight. Saturday, November 22nd Today's Intention: Start putting the pieces of your heart back to together. Moon moves to Anuradha nakshatra at 01:39 CST, inviting in Mitra and Saturn to our day. Sun and Venus have already moved to Anuradha, but Saturn in in Vishaka still. With Four planets in Scorpio right now, transformations and depth are part of our experience, carrying us through the coming waxing Moon cycle. New Moon is at 06:32 am CST in Scorpio and Anuradha nakshatra. This new Moon invites in a certain mystical element, one that invites us to go into our depths and harvest our inner riches. But don't be surprised if you discover shadows instead of light, as this is the gift of Scorpio, the 8th house, and its ability to transform our beings. Read more about this new Moon and the coming waxing cycle, as well as a special Creative Ritual to help you work with your depth and presence. With multiple layers of Mitra influencing us today, fine detail becomes our theme. Mitra is a deity that rules precision, exactness, focus and detail, while also being considered the "friendly star". This soft, mild and gentle star, allows us to probe into the details of our being, contemplate, honor and acquire the details we need to tend to our heart, and our emotional body wisdom. Today can help us put pieces together, to help make sense of the nonsensical, to attend and tend to our brokenness- an illusion of the shadow. Make your emotional body and physical embodiment your priority today and harvest from the wisdom of your own knowing. Mars moves to UttarAshada at 16:47 CST, shifting our recent focus from sensing and feeling and taking action steps based on this ability, and into a focus on doing right and righteous action steps. The coming two weeks will provide us with a certain tenacity to achieve dreams, goals and desires. It will be through our action steps, our courage and our bravery though that we get the job done. A gentle reminder to not push too hard, to overdo your actions, and not to force outcomes. The motto of UttarAshada and the Vishvadevas, however is "some people have dreams, and others stay awake to make them happen." If you don't like your job, your relationships, or the direction your life is heading, remember that you are the only one who can change it. Now is the time like never before. Ask the Vishva Devas for their assistance. Sunday, November 23rd Today's Intention: Dance with your senses and let them bring your awakening. Moon hops into Jyeshtha nakshatra at 01:12 am CST, and Indra, the king of the devas, emerges into our day. The strength of Indra is expressed in his rulership of the rain, as he is the rain god, a most powerful force. Rain is essential for life, however, too much of a good thing can be harmful. On the human body level, Indra rules the prana running through our us, giving us our life force. He also rules our senses. The senses are powerful forces of being, of experiencing and of listening. Though a certain level of control is important to use with our senses, our main job should be working with them, not against them. Honoring the senses and deeply listening to their messages can truly bring awakening. Rooted in the senses is our animal awareness, the gift of our humanness. Do we listen to these gifts or negate, suppress and dishonor them? Let your senses be guides for you, just learn how to assist your guidance system effectively. Today is an excellent time for a 3 level check in and some somatic work. Meditation can be helpful to get the mental body in check. Dive into your being and harness your greatness. A three level check in will help with the identification process. Need ome extra guidance and clarity? Schedule a session with me. Plan your week in tune with nature. Never miss a planetary update. Moon is waning this week with two planetary transits happening. Venus moves into Scorpio on Tuesday and the Sun follows on Sunday. This begins our focus on Scorpio in the coming weeks as we work directly with transformation- from the inside out.
Monday, November 10th Today's Intention: Roar like you've never roared before! Moon moves to Ardra nakshatra at 03:58 am CST, inviting in Rudra and Rahu into our day. Moon receives direct gaze from Mars, increasing the emotional intensity available with Ardra. The morning, and our week, start off with a bang! Rudra brings immense power and strength with him and when he combines with the Moon, this can bring immense emotional currents. This is why Ardra is connected to anger and the ferocity that anger offers us. (Anger is like a big wave, not like a ripple on the water.) Anger is an exceptional gift if used properly. When used improperly, it is a mental body dysfunction. When our anger is resourced from our emotional body wisdom, our sensing, it can be used as a tool of activation, motivation and power. It can be a dharmic gift, a 3rd chakra oriented self empowerment tool. How do you find the gift in anger? Look at the needs it is sharing with you. That need can be a huge source of awakening for you. It takes willingness, action steps and courage to go into the depth of your needs and use them as a personal development resource. Your anger can get you there and Rudra can make this happen. Charge forward today and roar loudly! Tuesday, November 11th Today's Intention: Let the depth of MA, wrap you in her arms. Love is the only answer you need. Moon moves into Punarvasu nakshatra at 05:27 am CST, and Aditi steps into our day with an extra level of Jupiter. Aditi brings expanded awareness to us, a universal consciousness, and helps us see the bigger picture in our lives. Through her expansiveness, we learn and grow. Once we get out of the small, isolated focus that often consumes our humanness, we can go beyond the small self, into a larger, grander sense of being. Aditi brings us resources for our expansion- whether it's through knowledge, wealth, or other types of assistance. She is the Mother of all goodness and brings us support when we need it. Think of her like the benevolent mother that we all need. Think of her as your silver lining, the gift within you that is waiting to be opened. What is beyond your struggle, your resistance, your excessive drive and desires? What is the gift hidden in your shadows? What is your true need? Go there and look for the motherly love, the nourishment that is waiting for you like a balm for the heart. Venus moves to Scorpio at 19:14 CST, joining Saturn there. This marks the beginning of several weeks where there will be a stacking of planets in Scorpio. This is a transformational time period, starting with the transformation of our creativity, passion, desires and relationships via Venus. What do you need to pull up from your depths in order to create more lasting change in your life? What needs transcendence in your relationships? What patterns are old, outworn and need to be transformed once and for all? As Venus connects with Saturn here, the ultimate new container is created for our capacity to love and be loved, to create and be intensely creative. What are you creating in your life and how do you want it to look? Dream big, dream deep. Wednesday, November 12th Today's Intention: Your emotional body wisdom is the key to unlock the mystery of your mind. Moon jumps into its own sign Cancer at 00:58 am CST. Moon joins exalted Jupiter here which gives a softness, expansion and knowledgeable connection to the Moon and our emotional body. Both receive drishti from Mars and Ketu, which brings fire and sparks to the emotional body and our learning capacity today. Learn, grow and expand from your felt senses. What can your agitation, annoyances and irritations teach you about your needs? How can you bring a bit more fire into your self awareness, self expansion? As Moon moves into Pushya nakshatra at 07:33 am CST, nourishment becomes our ultimate desire and motivation. Knowledge, wisdom and growth becomes our driving force today as Brihaspati (Jupiter personified) rules over Pushya. He is responsible for helping our good thoughts (devis) win and overcome the bad thoughts (asuras or demons). Our work with light overcoming our darkness is maximized today. Today, dance with your shadows intentionally and look behind the curtain. Let the emotional body and your heart wisdom spark depth and insights for you. Have you done a 3 level check in recently? Pause and check in. Thursday, November 13th Today’s Intention: The mind is a diamond in the rough. Keep polishing it, but don’t get too attached to it. Moon moves into Ashlesha nakshatra at 10:08 am CST, and Sarpa rules our day. Sarpa is a small serpent, connected to Rahu, our shadow self. Ashlesha is also ruled by the planet Mercury, our mental body. It’s a nakshatra where the shadow and our mind merge and co-create. Today, remember to rule your mind, rather than letting your mind rule you. Be a master of your mental body and you will gain access to profound insights and the gems of your existence- from a level of understanding. This is only one level of life, though. The purpose of mastering the mind is so you can lose it. Want a shortcut? Get embodied! Friday, November 14th Today’s Intention: The wisdom of the body holds all the resources you need for awakening. Moon conjuncts Jupiter mid morning, expanding our emotional body capacity; our ability to sense and feel. Use this as a time to tune into your senses and instincts more acutely. With Sun at the edge of Libra, and Saturn still getting accustomed to Scorpio, it’s an ideal time to get embodied and to get gentle somatic guidance. Take your questions into movement exploration and a creative ritual, then listen for your answers to come from your subtle depths. If you haven’t used my creative ritual yet for the waning Moon, this is an ideal time. Venus moves into Anuradha at 11:00 am CST and Mitra helps guide our friendships and relationships now for the coming ten days. Mitra is into fine detail, camaraderie and eloquent speech. He likes kindness, connection and doting on those he loves. Use this time to solidify relationships through the softness of Anuradha. Stay out his critical overly-detail oriented downside. This critical lens is what can close down the heart chakra in our relationships. Zoom out for more heart expansion. It’s a fine time to get detail oriented with the physical body and its needs however. Just don’t get lost in these details. As Moon transitions into Leo and Magha nakshatra at 13:04 CST, an abrupt shift takes place. Moon receives drishti from Saturn, but Magha invites in the deity Pitr and a dash of Ketu for our day. Sparks of imagination, awareness and insight may arrive. Let your body be the tuning fork as you listen for clues and seek pieces of your inner puzzle. Likely you will gain insights about your polarities if you are listening carefully. Your shadow and light. Your willingness and your resistance. Saturday, November 15th Today's Intention: Put down some roots! Dance them into the ground! Magha stays with us the majority of the day and Pitr guides us as well as Ketu. Confidence and courage may be enlivened, or an overdose of ego. Wisdom of flashes of insight may be lurking in the shadows if you're willing to boldly go into your setbacks, disappointments and illusions. Don't let the mind play its tricks on you. When in doubt, ask the ancestors for their assistance. Rahu jumps into Hasta nakshatra at 13:31 CST, and brings us a new opportunity to work with our shadows over the next 8.5 months. Hasta is ruled by Savitr, the god of the dawn. Dawn is neither day, nor night, yet a sacred time of awakening, of beginnings, possibilities. It is vulnerable, yet immensely powerful in this vulnerability. The crack of dawn that Savitr rules is our most potent moment of change, transformation, and realization. With our shadow (Rahu) moving into Savitr's domain for the coming 8.5 months, we enter a sacred and formidable time period that can truly activate and instigate lasting change, from our depths. Working directly with our shadow and allowing it to teach us our greatest needs, yearnings and desires can offer a crucial link for our psycho-spiritual awakening. Our shadow afterall is the gift of our incarnation, our reason for being alive in this body, on the earth plane. If we aren't using our darkness for awakening, we lose our purpose. This life then becomes futile, wasted, and lacks evolutionary depth. This is a powerful cosmic opportunity. Use it. Ask your shadows, your pains, your misery, sadness and heart aches for insights. The shadow can remind you why you are alive, what you have to share with others, what you need out of this one precious life. With courage, you will no doubt harvest some extremely powerful answers as to why you are alive. Use the Gayatri Mantra to assist your awakenings in the coming months. “The breezes at dawn have secrets to tell you Don't go back to sleep! You must ask for what you really want. Don't go back to sleep! People are going back and forth across the doorsill where the two worlds touch, The door is round and open Don't go back to sleep!” -Rumi As Moon transitions into Purvaphalguni at 16:06 CST, our creativity and fertility are enlivened. Pull from your depths and use your inner mysteries and questions for dancing, exploring and excavating. What is your biggest question right now? Take it into your dancing, singing, painting and let the answers come. Plant seeds today- for your greatness, for your courage, for your self-empowerment. Let the body be a resource for this anchoring. Let the pelvis help you with this. Sunday, November 16th Today's Intention: Let waves of creativity wash over you and through you. Sun slips into Scorpio at 06:07 am CST, joining Saturn, and Venus there. These three planets receive drishti (gaze) from exalted Jupiter, and Ketu. This transit marks the beginning of a very transformational month for us. One that calls upon us to dig from our depths, to transform our darkness and illuminate our shadows, our vulnerabilities. (See above for more of this theme as Rahu has just moved into Hasta nakshatra). Sun brings the light, but Scorpio represents our depth and our darkness. The degree of our growth and transformation will be based on our willingness, our courage and our actions steps. Step towards your shadow, not away from it, in the coming weeks. Look at the Sun and let the shadow fall behind you. Dance in the light, while watching your shadow self move with you. They are one and the same and inform your movements, steps and transformation. Invite in your whole Self. The majority of our day is connected to Purvaphalguni and Bhaga which connects us to our sensuality, sexuality and relationships. This is a star of fertility, creativity and connectivity. A star of relation and co-creation. Use this energy to inspire activation, to clear and purge stagnant energy- especially that which is stuck in your pelvis, your creative energy center. Let my Creative Ritual for the waning Moon help you with this. Let the pelvis help you with thi Moon moves to Uttaraphalguni at 18:58 CST, and Aryaman steps into our evening with an extra dose of Sun as well. He rules the second half of the Phalguni stars and helps us with sustaining creativity, fertility and co-creation. Aryaman is connected to the ancestors, to lineage and to that which sustains and nourishes in a lasting way; as steady stream of creative intelligence. Need some extra guidance and clarity? Schedule a session with me. Plan your week in tune with nature. Never miss a planetary update. Sign up for my weekly newsletter. Was this post helpful? Please share it with a friend! Thank you As I shared in my Full Moon Wisdom post, this waning cycle is about working with and harmonizing our polarities, the different parts our selves. Most notably, our shadows and our light. This is the ultimate balancing act. The stability that we are moving into, moving towards at this time, gets transformed, changed, and re-imagined, as we near the new Moon on the 22nd. For now, create gentle undulations and ride your own waves, by rooting into your own depths.
In this waning Moon cycle, we see Venus shift into Scorpio on the 11th and then Sun moving into Scorpio on the 16th, both joining Saturn there. Depth and transformation become the overarching theme. Read more about Saturn in Scorpio. The new Moon is in Scorpio (with three other planets there as well) is on November 22nd at 06:32 am CST. Horoscopes for the Waning Moon Cycle {November 6th to 22nd} *Horoscopes are based on your Vedic rising sign. You can also check your Moon and Sun signs for further insight. Do the same with your Navamsa signs for further clarity. Do not use these horoscopes with your “Western Sign” as there is likely no correlation. These horoscopes are meant to be used as a broad overview of the current transits and obviously do not address the specifics of an individual’s unique chart. Aries: It's time to boldly face what isn't working in your life and relationships. Dreams are wonderful, but they will stay dreams forever unless you are willing to create goals, actions and motivate in order to materialize them. It's time to dig into your depths and face your shadows, your demons and fears. In order for you to truly move forward in your life, you must be willing to go into your depths like never before. Relationship and money challenges may provoke this inner work, especially as Venus moves to your 8th house on the 11th. Once Sun dips into your 8th house on the 16th, you enter a new month that will help you go more deeply than you are used to. Dive deep in order to harvest your pearls. Taurus: Still digesting and assimilating? Your gut continues to be a primary resource for you. What is it telling you? Are you asking it to give you answers and awareness? New studies show that our stomach is actually the brain of the body, and a vital messaging center. It's no surprise that the gut and the emotions are intimately connected and both inform our responses. For you, right now, this is especially true. Your intuitive knowing can be heightened as a result. Have you noticed any strong "gut reactions" lately? As Venus and Sun move into your 7th house, this new gut awareness is tested. Who and what repulses you and makes you want to vomit? Who and what gives you indigestion and heartburn? You are learning to never negate your gut instincts. Gemini: It's your passion, creativity and desire to learn that is moving you forward right now. Be sure you are letting your emotional body wisdom be a driving force as well. There is a lot of wisdom to access in the shadows of your heart, so be sure you are looking into your darkness. Seek the gifts your shadows have to offer you and go beyond the surface. As Venus and Sun dip into your sixth house, you get a chance to work more directly with your old mental patterns, and limiting beliefs. What is holding you back from fully expressing your gifts, talents and passionate creative self? What keeps you invisible? This will shed light on your career and what needs to be overcome in order for sharing your greatness. Cancer: Your task in the coming weeks is to take your heart wisdom into full on creativity and passion. To materialize and start actualizing your creativity, into tangible, structured offerings. Self expression is the key to this reality. How you relate, and to who, becomes the bridge. Let the wisdom of the body be a primary resource for your awakenings, your movements and fluidity. What is trapped in your heart that needs wings in order to fly? Let your heart open, sing, and soar! Once Venus and Sun move into your 5th house and join Saturn there, finding a container, a clear channel for your passions, becomes even more vital. Leo: Creativity and communication are flowing through your hands. Relationships and connections are improved as you courageously express yourself and take some risks with speaking your truths. Do it. Go there. It's all about you opening your heart in new and vital ways. Sharing parts of yourself that have been locked away, closed off and left unexpressed. As Venus and Sun move to your 4th house, joining Saturn there, creativity will get sparked from your heart knowing wisdom. Let this creativity and awakening stir your career, your offerings and your intuitive knowing. Some new information is emerging from your depths. Will you listen to it and honor it, or stuff it down, turn it off and neglect it once again? Virgo: Self expression and nourishment seems to be a top priority right now- especially in your relationships. What needs are getting met? Which ones aren't? Exploring your anger is ideal right now with Mars still in your heart center (4th house). Anger is a gift in disguise, it gives us direct access to our passion and what we want and need in our lives. Let it be a tuning fork for you; do not suppress it! Keep diligently working on your own self development, taking off your blinders and unveiling your shadows. Relationships prove illuminating for this task. As Venus and Sun move into your third house, creative courage soars. Let your body wisdom and embodiment work be a primary resource for your integration process. Libra: Life and relationships may feel they are teetering back and forth, finding new balance, and a new set point for normalcy. It's taking courage for you to communicate your needs, express your self and to find your nourishment. Keep sensing and feeling into this. You are learning a lot from sharing, teaching, advising, and stepping out into the world. Keep stepping with your heart and using your emotional body wisdom to guide you towards your needs. As Venus and Sun move to your 2nd house with Saturn, feeding your self becomes vital. Feed your self at the core levels of your life, from your roots to your tips. Nourish your depths. Scorpio: You are still addressing endings, losses and letting go. This isn't foreign territory to you though and there's some sense of relief now in the release, no matter the consequences. Continue the theme of releasing in this cycle and see if you can lighten your load even more. Sparks fly in your head once Venus and Sun move to your first house. Don't over do it, or you may experience some short circuits in your hard drive. That said, creativity, relationships and connection, as well as your ability to shine and be seen, are all maximized. If you are willing to step out of your own shadows, you will truly get the spot light. Take center stage Scorpio, you deserve it! And for a moment anyway, let the light all go to your head. Sagittarius: With Mars sitting in your head right now, you're probably feeling like a bit of a hot head! Working with your anger can be a powerful resource. What is setting you off? What needs are not being met? What do you need to express, but instead hold back from sharing? Now's the time to start using your anger as a resource for passion and for expressing your gifts! As Venus and Sun move into your 12th house, digging into your depths becomes extremely important and worthwhile. Shift your focus to liberation, release and letting go. The more you can release and let go of, the bigger the changes you can allow yourself to have in the coming cycle. Create space for what's coming next, so you can make a big splash. Capricorn: Career and you offerings to the world have been your top priority. Connecting, sharing, communicating with your audience are very important right now, though may feel slightly frustrating or uncertain simultaneously. Take action steps anyway. Once Venus and Sun move into your 11th house of gains with Saturn, a new vibrancy and creativity surges through you. Keep it structured, embodied and use your creativity as a connector. Friends, older siblings and your own personal experiences may be resources for you. Work with your shadow and light in order to maximize this transit. Look for the silver linings. Aquarius: Your career and offerings are finally getting some structure, some solidity. The wisdom of the body is a vital resource for harnessing your gifts and talents. Let the physical body wisdom inform you and what you share with the world. Let yourself be vulnerable and share your shadows in order to authentically connect. Once Venus and Sun move to your 10th house and join Saturn there, your ability to connect intensifies. Relationships prove to be a vital mirror for your offerings, so use them to inform who and what you are connecting with. Communicating through the computer is an excellent choice for reaching a wider audience. Use this tool. Pisces: It's all about releasing and letting go right now. Currently you are getting a full restructuring in your head and it's coming up from your depths. Relationships and old patterns have been going through a transformation, which has effected your relationships and what you see when you look in the mirror. This is a mind shift- a powerful one at that! Let the changes begin! As Venus and Sun emerge from your 8th house and move into your 9th, a new sense of wisdom becomes palpable for you. Offer this wisdom, your new awareness and let your inner knowing express itself. Share, advise, connect, and use the physical body wisdom as a resource for how you share, what you share, and who you share it with. Get embodied and the clarity will come. Step boldly and be courageous with your career. Need some extra guidance and clarity? Schedule a session with me. Plan your week in tune with nature. Never miss a planetary update. The Vishva Devas are enlivened when the Moon is in Purnima, fullness. Creativity, light and expression are available to us in greater capacity. With the Moon in Bharani nakshatra at this time, Yama brings an element of restraint and containment to us. He is an enforcer- of Natural Law, of right and wrong, of karma. He insists on transformation and brings it to us through his truth. Everyone at some point will have to face the scrutiny of Yama. He tells it like it is. The harsh realities of life and death. Bharani is therefor considered an Ugra nakshatra- one that is harsh and dreadful. Cutting, executive decisions and abilities are possible, as well as success in destruction and interrupting. There is a strong element of clearing, destroying and removing with this full Moon. There's harshness available for taking care of these tasks. The need for removing the old and outworn, all that is creating our malnourishment, is very strong right now. We are being asked to find a greater sense of balance, while deepening our container, so that we may hold more of the vital nutrients we need for our lives. Our ability to be nourished is directly connected to how much we are willing to remove the old, outworn, unhealthy parts of our lives and work with our shadows. Libra reminds us that there is a flip side to everything and that we must always look deeply into our own mirror- the mirror of other. Every shadow has a gift and can bring us light. All light, has a shadow and darkness as well. When we are willing to dance with all parts of our being, we come into greater balance and wholeness. This is unity consciousness. In this cycle, relationships require and request our re-balancing. They can continue to serve as our resource for deep awakening, for looking at our own shadows and darkness, and the places within us where we need to shine more light. Additionally, the resource of creativity brings us more flow, more life, more love and resources, including money. The pelvis becomes a primary resource once again, so use it as a stabilizing force. And our sense of self, our ego and our ability to resource within our own being, becomes vital in this waning cycle. Embodiment, and listening deeply to the impulses, the messages of our body, is a potent reminder for our path. The physical body, is where we have the ability to harvest our nourishment and the greatest knowing of our needs. Within the junction point of the physical body and the knowing it provides us, is where the felt senses enliven and our emotional body wisdom can be activated. Get embodied and listen closely to the messages that will be arriving in the coming cycle. Intuition will be strengthened once the planets start passing through Scorpio. This balancing act, the stability that we are moving into, moving towards at this time, gets transformed, changed and re-imagined as we near the new Moon on the 22nd. For now, create gentle undulations and ride your own waves, by rooting into your depths. Creative Ritual for the Waning Moon Cycle ::: As I mentioned above, we are working with a dance of balance during this waning Moon cycle. Balance requires that our various needs, wants and desires- the various parts of ourselves- find some integration, some greater sense of wholeness and equilibrium. Libra represents our "other" half, our mirror. Our shadows and light, our depth and our surface, our need for communion and separation, our walk with life and death. Extremes, polarities and difference come into view and provoke us, if we choose, to go deeper into our being. Libra reminds us that we are multifaceted, and have more than one side to ourselves. This is our dance for the waning cycle. Working directly with our two halves- perhaps the oppositions within us. This creative ritual is designed to help bring more synergy within us, more balance. 1) Identify a conflict within your life. What are you aware of within your life that brings up a sense of opposition for you? Maybe it's staying in a relationship or leaving. Perhaps it's losing weight, but uncertainty about how to do that. Maybe you want more money in your life, but it feels impossible. What is the greatest challenge that is present for you right now? Notice how it makes you feel. What sensations in the body arrive when you think of this issue, problem or concern? Where do you feel this arrive in your body? Again, be present to how this problem shows up in your body. Be present to the sensations, body parts, and any imagery that arrives. 2) Create an image of this conflict, this problem, and how it makes you feel, and how your body responds to it. What colors, textures, images and shapes arrive on the paper? Use craypas for this one, as the solid consistency of this medium will help establish the feelings onto the page. Use your creation process to fully translate this life issue for you. Get messy and wild if you need to! Let your image speak to you. If your drawing could talk, what would it tell you? Take 20 minutes for this. 3) Move your image. The next step is to get your problem moving, to get the mass of energy that this life problem poses for you, to shape shift and start flowing more. Look at your image and let yourself be attracted to a part of it that interests you or intrigues you. Perhaps a color, texture, line or shape beckons you. Go there. Then, begin to move this part of your image. Let sounds emerge. Notice the body parts being utilized. Notice the responses in the body as you move and listen for impulses from the body. Let it keep speaking to you and keep following its impulses. Move your image, develop your movements and explore your conflict image through this movement exploration for at least 20 minutes. 4) Harvest from your experience. What pieces of your personal mythology arrived through your image and movement exploration? What resources did you discover through your image and movement exploration? I share details below, but look for a Full Moon Wisdom article and new horoscopes later this week with even more details.
The big shift of Saturn into Scorpio has now happened. Saturn is barely adjusting to Scorpio and still under a degree. My advise from last week about getting embodied is still relevant- and carries through the waning Moon cycle. Stay grounded and in your body as much as possible. Mercury shifts into Libra once again and emotional tides are high with the full Moon, so be aware that life may feel overwhelming, big, expansive and very new in many ways. Take action steps gently, create alliances, and celebrate your path. We are all in for a Scorpio type adventure for the next 2.5 years! If you haven't had a Saturn yagya yet, now's the time! Monday, November 3rd Today's Intention: Loosen the grip you have on yourself. Lighten your load. Moon moves into Pisces at 02:55 am CST, joining Ketu there, while receiving drishti from Jupiter, Mercury and Rahu. Then Moon moves into Uttarabhadrapada at 08:30 am. This awakens Ahirbudhnya, another son of Vishvakarma. He is considered the serpent of the deep, and rules over the nether regions, the hidden realms, and our subconscious mind. He is also a Rudra like his brother Ajaikapada, but he removes misfortune and can grant enjoyment, refreshments and delights. The symbol here is the back legs of a funeral cot, exemplifying the final release, letting go. Fruitful endeavors can be granted, or old struggles can be released. Work with the subconscious mind today and unravel, loosen and release the old tangled webs holding you back from your goals! Venus moves to Vishaka nakshatra at 19:52 CST. Alliances, relationships and the ability to co-create with others, proves especially valuable and important in the coming weeks. Work diligently with partnerships, team building, and giving gratitude for the resources others bring into your life. We accomplish nothing alone. Invite others into your world and accomplish more! Vishaka reminds us that giving and receiving makes the world go round! Mercury nears the edge of Virgo, its sign of exaltation, and is now sandhi. Both Saturn (physical body) and Mercury (mental body) are sandhi right now as Moon (emotional body) nears Ketu (our awakened shadows). Get embodied and stay grounded in the moment as much as possible right now. It's too easy to slip out of the body and get lost in the mind and thoughts. Moon is waxing and in the 12th tithi (Moon phase) now. Full Moon this week on the 6th in Aries! The doors close at midnight tonight on my Early Bird pricing for my Dharma Foundations Course!! Moon moves to Revati nakshatra at 06:53 am CST, inviting in Pushan and another level of Mercury to our day. Moon nears exact conjunction with Ketu, so expect some mental sparks today. Especially because Rahu gives his drishti, as well as a sandhi Mercury who is ready to jump into Libra. Mars also gives his gaze, intensifying the heat and fire element. Emotions may be invoked, or provoked today, so be sure to do a 3 level check in for greater awareness about your needs. Pushan insures our safe travels, nourishes our path, and helps us to flourish, prosper and create increase. He is a guardian for journeys that are on the material level and astral level- those beyond the human body. He leads us to abundance and a sense of thriving. Mercury moves back into Libra today at 09:37 am CST, joining debilitated Sun, and Venus there in its own sign. Mercury is here until November 24th. Libra becomes the center of our attention once again, invoking a need for greater balance, harmony and movement in our lives. Relationships, co-creating and nourishing communication are all vital right now. Inspire and get inspired. Seek solutions. In just a few short weeks, our attention and energy will shift to Scorpio, when we will have a cluster of four planets in this sign. Transformations are afoot, but for now, focus on re-centering, re-balancing and re-stabilizing. Wednesday, November 5th Today's Intention: Self care is non-negotiable. Put your needs first. Let healthy boundaries rejuvenate you. Mars moves out of Mula nakshatra at 02:47 am CST and into PurvaAshada, ruled by the Water goddess Apas and the planet Venus. This brings us a shift into greater flow, ease and fluidity- which becomes more possible in our action steps. Sensitivity and feelings are increased, as well as greater invitation for rejuvenation and purification. If you haven't already begun your fall cleanse, now is the time to take action steps toward clearing and cleaning your physical body. It is also vital to be clearing and cleaning your mental/emotional bodies as well. Cleanse from the inside out. But gently, not harshly. The ruler here, Apas, is the water goddess who can increase fluidity and flow for us. Take note if you need more life nourishment, monetary flow, love and creativity. Use this wisdom to get you started. Moon is now in the 14th tithi, nearing complete fullness, and jumps into Aries and Ashwini nakshatra at 05:25 am CST, inviting in another level of rejuvenation and healing thanks to the Ashwini-kumara twins. Their domain includes rasayanas, which bring strength and vitality. Both the creative arts and the healing arts fall under their domain. Moon receives drishti from the three planets in Libra: debilitated Sun, Venus in its own sign, and now Mercury, who is still in young degrees. A strong sense of balance is desired today. Seek solutions and resources for getting your needs met. Moon moves to the 15th tithi at 18:06 CST and the fullness begins! Thursday, November 6th Today's Intention: Be filled. But first, remove all that does not create space for your own fulfillment. Moon moves to Bharani nakshatra at 04:12 am CST, inviting in Yama and another level of Venus to our day, and our full Moon experience. Drishti on the Moon from three planets in Libra is still relevant thanks to debilitated Sun, Venus in its own sign, and now Mercury, who has crossed over the two degree mark. We are still working with a strong need for balance- a general theme for this time period. Work with the stability available from the pelvis in order to ground, and root. Seek solutions and resources for getting your needs met. Invite in flow and fluidity. Be vigilant with second chakra messages. Moon is completely full at 16:21 CST in Aries and Bharani nakshatra. Take yourself from flicker to flame, ash to akasha. Moon transits into Krittika nakshatra at 03:21 am CST, inviting in the deity Agni and its ruler Sun to our day. Today invites in a sense of purification, clarifying and a need for greater digestion and assimilation. Use the creative arts and embodiment for increasing the necessary flow and fluidity in your life. Your digestion process has a direct impact on your ability to create, re-generate and revitalize yourself. Work with your fire and its transformational abilities. Today is about shifting, changing and re-creating. Moon hops into Taurus at 09:12 am CST, and goes into its exaltation degrees until 14:30 am CST. As Soon as Moon shifts into Taurus, it receives drishti from Saturn in Scorpio and Rahu in Virgo. Intensity in the body and with our shadows, stirs the emotional body. This position of exalted Moon, however, exemplifies the expansiveness of the emotional body and can bring with it tidal waves. Ride these waves. Purge, release and transform through the wisdom of the emotional body. Use my Creative Ritual to explore the transformational level of your current experiences and conflicts. Saturday, November 8th Today's Intention: Get moving and get creative. Feel your desires, then take action! Moon moves into Rohini nakshatra at 02:58 am CST, enlivening the support of lord Brahma and his consort goddess Saraswati. Moon is in Taurus and considered in its sign of mulitrikona, a strong placement for the felt senses, creativity and self expression. Doubly so because of its Rohini placement right now. Rahu gives his drishti, as does Saturn. This creates some extra pressures on the Moon and increases and heightens the intensity of our feelings. Think of it like an amplification or choppy waters. How can you channel this in a way that moves you, inspires you and gets your creativity flowing? Go bold and start manifesting your desires. Open your channels of creativity and get your life moving! Sunday, November 9th Today's Intention: Sense, feel and reach into your dreams in order harvest your action steps. Moon moves to Mrigashirsha nakshatra 03:09 am CST inviting in the deity Soma, and the planet Mars. Divine nourishment, the nectar of life is available to feed us today. Sensing, feeling, reaching and branching out in order to thrive are the resources for our day. Seek the nectar that will nourish you from your depths, to your tips. From feet to head, first chakra (your roots) all the way to your 7th chakra (your celestial being). Don't neglect your roots, for this is the foundation you need for growth and abundance. Mercury moves to Swati nakshatra at 04:48 am CST, which encourages movement and change within our mental body, our communications and commerce. The deity Vayu rules over Swati nakshatra. He is present in breath, prana, as well as wind and air. His ability to move us, shift and change us, can be felt in soft, gentle breezes, or strong, stormy gusts. Working with the ever fluctuating mental body in the coming weeks will be vital. Three level check ins are a must. Harness the winds of the mind and you harness your being. Moon moves to Gemini at 15:29 CST, and receives drishti from Mars. Whenever Moon and Mars connect, there is dance with fire and water. This combination can increase anger, passion, and our attraction to red. It can also bring strength and blessings from the divine mother. Look for the opening, the gift, in the challenges and intensity that arrive. Anger is a potent and powerful gift to receive! Monday, November 10th Today's Intention: Roar like you've never roared before! Moon moves to Ardra nakshatra at 03:58 am CDT, inviting in Rudra and Rahu into our day. Need some extra guidance and clarity? Schedule a session with me.
