The Moon swells and expands this week, asking us to respond to her increased flow. The most powerful full Moon of the year occurs late in the week and Saturn goes direct after four and half months of retrograde motion. Let out the exhale and find your release. Monday is influenced by Mercury as the Moon moves through Jyeshtha nakshatra, Indras constellation. With Moon transiting its debilitation sign, Scorpio and in Jyeshtha, extreme sensitivity and overwhelm can occur easily. The sensorial level of our being is easily impacted as well as the mental and emotional bodies. The mental body is extra sensitive right now in general- as Mercury and Sun are combust with Ketu's gaze. Frazzled and fried? What can you do to turn down the heat and defrag the system? Hint: Less is more. Remove anything unnecessary from your plate. August Jyotish Basics classes are open for enrollment. Early Bird price + special free gift is available for 48 hours only! Get the Details. Just as Tuesday begins, Moon jumps into Sagittarius and Mula nakshatra. Nirrti, the dark goddess, arrives with her upheaval and removal tactics. Mars and Jupiter give their gaze, offering some clarity and tenacity to an otherwise delicate time. Can you get focused and clear? Aim high and meet your mark. Stay out of the chaos and overwhelm by landing and grounding as much as possible in the physical body. This will take courage but try to land on your feet. Mars moves to the edge of Gemini and is sandhi (in the gap). Soften your action steps and relax the mind. Meditation is an excellent use of your time today. PurvaAshada nakshatra starts the day on Wednesday, sharing the powerful flow of Apas and her watery ways. Her strength can be a blessing or an overwhelming inundation. If you've been feeling the pressure, it's time to open the floodgates and find the release valve. This may come with emotions and tears, but let them flow and cleanse you. Mercury begins to separate from close conjunction with the Sun and our mind begins to get some relief as well. Feeling the frustration still? Mars is at the edge of Gemini, still tickling our mental body with red and reaction. What is underneath the agitation? Find the need and see what action steps need to be taken for greater ease. Today, uproot and pull up old, inner weeds. Just before midnight, Moon shifts to UttaraAshada. Registration for August Jyotish Basics classes is closing on Friday, July 31st! Don't miss out on a month of support with your personal growth, healing and transformation. Get the Details. Day of the guru, Jupiter, arrives as Moon transits UttaraAshada. As Thursday arrives, Moon moves to Capricorn mid-morning, receiving drishti (gaze) from five planets simultaneously. Sun, Mercury, Mars, Rahu and Saturn offer a recipe for overwhelm and intensity, yet the Vishvadevas offer their support through resources and aligning with our truth. Look for flashes of insights and awareness regarding your gifts and inner wisdom. Listen carefully and align with your highest knowing. Trust your inner light to guide you. Catch yourself in the emotional extremism before you go down the rabbit hole. What do you need to do in order to ground and land in your body more fully? As the waxing Moon peaks, another planetary shift occurs. Mars moves to its debilitation sign, Cancer, joining Mercury and Sun here. On July 30th at 13:14, the warrior, fire planet moves to the watery and emotive sign of Cancer and will be here until mid September. These two forces naturally oppose each other as Mars is reactive and action oriented and Cancer is connected to feelings and the emotional body. Mars is not a thinker or a feeler, he is a doer. Conflicts between thoughts, feelings and actions occur in this cycle, however there is opportunity to bring light and greater awareness to our heart wisdom. If you feel irritation and anger, it's time to dig deeper. What are the needs underneath the outbursts? What expression needs to be released, rather than repressed? How can you tend to your emotional body wisdom with greater compassion and clarity? Ask yourself "Where am I pushing too hard?" Matters with home, heart, mother, land and property feel the extra level of fire and complexity right now. Be gentle and soften your heart wherever possible. Find ways to balance your action and non-action, as there may be confusion with how to move forward in this cycle with rest and activity. For those with prominent placements or strong influences of Mars in your chart, this is somewhat of a rest cycle for you. Pushing too hard will be counterproductive. Make your heart and home the priority. Moon is in the 15th tithi (purnima) and final phase of the waxing cycle as of the morning of July 30th. However, the fullest part of the Moon is not until Friday early in the morning. Late afternoon into late evening, Moon passes through the most sacred nakshatra of all, the little known 28th nakshatra, Abhijit. The domain of Abhijit is in between UttaraAshada and Sravana nakshatra- from 6 degrees 40 to 10 degrees 53. Use this time for meditation and sharing your intentions with the universe. As Moon shifts to Sravana late in the evening a more expansive sacredness arrives. Align with your intentions and seek clarity with your path. I'll be offering a free Creative Ritual web class for Guru Purnima. Make sure you're on the list. Friday begins with a sense of auspiciousness as Moon transits Sravana nakshatra. The fullest full Moon of the Vedic calendar, called Guru Purnima, is dedicated to gurus, teachers and honoring our spiritual lineage. The exact time of the full Moon is 03:42 am Pacific Time, while Moon is in Capricorn and Sravana nakshatra. This is the second full Moon of July and a powerful time to align with deep intention, sacredness and dharma. Attend to the wisdom within, honor your teachers and lineage, while using ritual to solidify your intentions. How can you clarify your path and commit to your purpose more fully? Sravana is Vishnu's constellation and he brings an expansiveness that can be transcendental and awakening. Vishnu's purpose is to uphold dharma, which he does through sound. Open your mind and see what you find. Root through the feet and let your body wisdom help you listen. Late evening, Moon shifts into Dhanishta nakshatra and the Vasu Devas come out to shine. Saturday is the day of Saturn, but Moon moves through a Mars ruled constellation, Dhanishta. Moon shifts to Aquarius mid morning, a sign ruled by both Saturn and Rahu and gives a nod to the 11th house of gains and friendships. Moon receives gaze from Jupiter and Venus as well as Mars. Passion, anyone? There is also a certain bright and shining light shared with this nakshatra. Natives often have a very distinct glow which is a gift from the Vasu Devas. They support our ability to be seen, noticed and wealthy- through our action steps. They bring the jyoti, the light and love us to align and activate dharma. Take an action step towards your dharma today that will make the Vasu Devas proud! Let your heart wisdom and emotional body guide you. Moon shifts to Satabisha nakshatra early evening. Just before 22:00, Saturn goes direct. I'll be doing cartwheels!! What about you?! This ends over four months of slow, intensified returns that have kicked up grief, sadness, loss and fears. Let out your breath, sigh with relief, notice where you've been holding on and seek release. Structure, focus, movement and stability begin to move in a forward direction. Find a new dance, step wisely, acknowledge your path and the road you have traveled. Find a place within where you can cultivate some new joy. Read more about Saturn in Scorpio. Sunday is ruled by Rahu and Varuna as the Moon transits through Satabisha nakshatra. Moon is waning and enters the 3rd tithi today, called tritiya, a Vishnu ruled Moon phase. Satabhisha and Varuna guard Natural Law, the laws of the universe. Nothing gets past Varuna's gaze and scrutiny. There is a certain healing and sacredness with this nakshatra, as well as harshness and an intensified critic. Can you dance with the devil but find your own drum beat? Moon shifts to the first half of Bhadrapada late afternoon. Keep dancing, even if it feels impossible. Let Ajaikapada help you balance overwhelm, uncertainty and upheaval. Stomp and kick up some dust. Count your steps and work your way through Monday with PurvaBhadrapada and Lord of the Dance. *Pacific Time Zone is used for all planetary timing. This Week's Intention: Turn your attention inward and find the gems you seek within. Monday begins with a ripe Moon perched at the edge of Libra and shifts into its debilitation sign, Scorpio, just after midnight. Moon transits Vishaka nakshatra, the two branches, symbolizing a gateway of triumph. This dual ruled nakshatra contains the wisdom of Indra and Agni, who offers success through collaboration and co-creation. Two heads are better than one. Use this metaphor to find greater support today. As Moon shifts into Anuradha nakshatra late morning, this theme continues to emerge with the "friendly star." Ruling deity, Mitra, can bring us connections and support through friendships and alliances. We may also feel challenges from the same as Moon conjuncts contractive Saturn as well. Sensitivity abounds! And though the Moon is almost full, it's actually a very tender, inward Moon which invokes self care and attention to vulnerability. Tuesday ushers in a full Moon at 09:18 PDT while Moon is in Scorpio and Jyestha Nakshatra. Jyestha nakshatra is ruled by Indra, the king of the gods. He is responsible for releasing the water from the clouds, allowing it to rain, often using his weapon of choice, the thunderbolt. Indra rules our senses and reminds us to use discernment with them, rather than being ruled by all of our urges and desires. Much like the clouds, our tears are released and are a cleansing offering of Indra as well. Scorpio is the Moon's debilitation sign and because Moon will also be conjunct retrograde Saturn at the time of the full Moon, themes for the coming cycle invite certain pressures- which can intensify the emotional body effects we experience. This combination however will provide deep release, like a valve that needs to be opened, inviting in a sense of letting go and waves of grief to surface. As the Moon begins to wane on Tuesday, our reflection continues to turn inward and reminders, imagery and ideas from the past resurface. What pieces need to be responded to? Which ones need to be released? Do you want more astrological details about the new Moon and the coming cycle? Use my 2015 Moon Wisdom Calendar to learn more about the cosmic themes. Learn More. Moon jumps to Sagittarius and Mula nakshatra early Wednesday morning, inviting in Nirriti's chaos and calamity. She helps us become unbounded, to release where we are holding on too tightly. Expect the unexpected with the dark goddess emerging today. Sudden, unexpected shifts arrive. Where are we holding on when we should be letting go? What space can we create with a deeper release? Today is well suited to gentle cleansing, releasing and rejuvenation practices. Rest, restore and relax but don't push or force actions and outcomes. Thursday morning Moon shifts into PurvAshada nakshatra, inviting Apas to rule over the day. As the water goddess, she provides purification, as well as deep feelings and continuous movement. Mars gives his drishti to the Moon today, offering both fierce anger and passion, while simultaneously giving us an opportunity for deeper connection to MA if we listen carefully. There is a certain sensitivity today and deep feelings are available to us. How do these feelings move you and stir you to respond? Thursday is the last chance to join my Jyotish Basics Classes for June! The focus of the month is Money and Wealth. Ready to increase your financial stability and change your relationship with money? Join me for classes. Moon dips into the latter half of the Ashada constellation, UttarAshada, Friday morning and the Vishva Devas are enlivened. The symbol of this nakshatra is an elephant tusk which denotes a certain connection to Ganesha, the remover of obstacles. This is a softer, gentler star than PurvAshada, and its aim is for support and assistance. Where can you allow more support into your life? How does it show up? As Moon shifts into Capricorn midday, he moves to Saturn's sign and receives his drishti as well. Rahu, Jupiter and Venus also give their gaze, providing increases, changes, expansion and contraction. Can you go with the flow? Early Saturday morning, Moon moves into Sravana, Vishnu's territory. Vishnu is intimately connected to hearing and the transmission of information, especially the sacred variety. Like akasha, space, he is everywhere. What are you expanding towards today? The wisdom you seek is seeking you. Soak it up. As Sunday begins, Moon moves to Dhanishta nakshatra and the Vasu Devas are enlivened. These Devatas help us find the rhythm of life, our own beat. The symbol here is a drum, which physically connects us to the pulse, the heartbeat within us as well as the pulse of life. What beat are you hearing and connecting to? How are you connecting to the pulse of life today? Moon shifts to Aquarius late afternoon, a Saturn ruled sign, but out of the gaze of the other planets. Let yourself dance to your own rhythm, your own beat. Monday begins with Moon shifting into Satabisha nakshatra, Varuna's domain. His symbol is an empty circle and he is connected to restraint. Varuna brings strong resistance at times but may be helpful with creating healthy boundaries. Are you resisting or avoiding? Are you conscious of this or pushing vital nourishment away? *Time zone used for calculations is in Pacific Daylight Time unless otherwise noted.

Please share it with a friend! Thank you. The week begins with a deep, waning Moon. New Moon is Tuesday morning while in Capricorn. Capricorn is the center of attention right now and presents us with themes for the coming waxing cycle. Read more here. Two big shifts this week- Mercury goes retrograde and Venus moves to Aquarius. Later in the week, Aquarius asks for our attention as Venus moves to this sign, where Mars is already, and Moon passes through as well. Monday, January 19th Today's Intention: Purify, cleanse and restore. As Moon continues to transit Sagittarius and PurvaAshada nakshatra, there is a deepening of release happening. Let the release come through purifying and cleansing practices, through ritual and sacred acts. Use water and the emotional body tides to inspire the purification process. Be gentle and nourishing to yourself and others today. Do so by listening deeply to your emotional body wisdom. Moon enters the 15th tithi today, the final phase of the waning cycle, and shifts into UttaraAshada nakshatra at 16:04 CST, inviting in the Vishva Devas and a strong sense of integrity. What drives you and motivates you to be the best you? What are the best parts of yourself that you wish to share with the world? Tuesday, January 20th Today's Intention: Get clear and get focused, but don't forget to leave room for daydreams. Moon transits Capricorn and UttaraAshada nakshatra with Sun, Mercury and Venus in Capricorn as well. Rahu, Jupiter and Saturn all give their drishti to these four planets. Feeling pulled in too many directions? Too many irons in the fire? The hardest thing to do right now is simplify. Do your best. New Moon is at 07:14 am CST while in Capricorn and UttaraAshada. This is a very powerful new Moon with strong Capricorn themes. Strong creativity is available to us and can be maximized with a strong, clear and direct channel. Give your creativity purpose and clarity and you can enlarge what is possible for your self. This is a time where we are learning to direct our flow. Read more about this new Moon and the intention for the coming waxing cycle. Moon shifts into Sravana nakshatra at 13:28 CST, enlivening Vishnu and his expansiveness. Mercury is here as well, which invites in creative expansion from the mental body level. Let the mind, the imagination, expand your life vision, your sense of purpose and dharma. Solidify your intention and expand your container of what is possible for yourself. Wednesday, January 21st Today's Intention: Your only job is to share your life light. Mercury goes retrograde at 09:51 am CST and will be moving back through Capricorn now until February 11th. Despite what many believe, retrograde cycles are not chaos cycles where life goes haywire. They are, however, cycles for us to re-trace our steps, recycle our thoughts and intentions, and to clean up any details we may have missed on the first go round. In fact, these rewind cycles are a gift! If we use these cycles intentionally, we get a chance to re-do what we may have neglected previously. Read more about retrograde Mercury cycles. The retrograde planet will determine what we are re-examining, and how that shows up for us in our life experience. Mercury is the planet that correlates to our mental body, our imaginal realms. It is the planet of communication, commerce, writing and connecting. It likes to speak, share, create and co-create. As Mercury will be walking back through Capricorn for the next three weeks, this is an ideal time to find very clear containers, structures and frames for your creativity, communication and connection. Retrograde Jupiter gives his drishti to Mercury at this time, creating a double return of old territory, including emotional body wisdom and themes connected to heart and home. Boundary work is essential right now. Think in terms of organizing all aspects of your life and tidying up old, dusty corners of you mind. If life is a closet, go to Ikea and get the proper shelving and filing systems for yourself. If the closet is the mind, get clear and organized about what "best practice" is for yourself in work, career and your life offerings. Re-commit to enlivening your dreams and making them real. Keep moving towards what makes your heart full of joy. Your passions are your life's work. Make space for them. Take intentional action steps and don't waste energy unnecessarily. Track your emotional and mental bodies for insights. Shortly after Mercury goes retrograde, Moon shifts into Dhanishta nakshatra at 10:42 am CST, home of the Vasu Devas, the shining stars. Creativity, light and sharing one's light are all assisted by the Vasu Devas. As we shine our light, our innate gifts and dharmic purpose, we gain and acquire increased support and assistance, abundance and prosperity. Authentically offering one's inner light, attracts more of the same. We can give thanks to the Vasu Devas for their support with this shining process. Today, re-visit your life message, your light message, what makes life worth living. Hone your intention for being alive. Moon moves to Aquarius at 21:19 CST, joining Mars here. Thursday, January 22nd Today's Intention: Look for sparks and let them inspire your healing. Moon is waxing now and enters the third tithi (tritiya) today. As Moon moves into Satabisha nakshatra at 07:57 am CST, Varuna and Rahu are enlivened. Moon conjoins Mars in Aquarius which intensifies our emotional body experience with a range of feelings from agitation and anger, to passion and ferocity. Varuna can provoke a deep inner awareness and help us align more intentionally with the Laws of Nature. Emotional body depth is increased today, so utilize this for greater awareness about your needs. Allow the emotional body to intensify your inner vision more deeply. Harvest your findings and extract them for healing. What do your emotions tell you about what is working in your life? What do they tell you is not working? What or who, is the emotion directed towards? What is the underlying need for nourishment and support under this emotion? Seek the wisdom of your inner tides and use this to spark increased consciousness, depth and healing. Or you could just stay angry. Need a step by step ritual to help you identify what you need? Do a three level check in. Venus moves to Aquarius at 14:30 CST, joining Moon and Mars here as well. With Venus transiting Dhanishta nakshatra still (a Mars ruled star) there is an increased sense of passion and intensity with all things creative, relational and feminine today. Bottle this and dole it out slowly in the coming weeks! Venus chases Mars through Aquarius for the next three weeks before Mars moves into Pisces on February 11th. This combination makes for a fire and water dance that can help us intensify our passion, or help us get burned by it. The way to work with this energy is to channel it into proper containers- unique, new and different types of containers. This is an opportunity for us to maximize our creativity, to increase our passion, and to ignite our desires. How we use this heightened passion is really important. Do we use it to awaken? Or do we let our creative energy go off like a firecracker, then dissolve into burn out? Relationships may come on strong at this time so direct the flow of love and channel it intentionally. Let all love flow to the heart. Even the strictly second chakra kind! Friday, January 23rd Today's Intention: Walking leads to dancing. Do both. Moon shifts into PurvaBhadrapada nakshatra at 05:25 am CST and Ajaikapada and Jupiter rise into our day. Ajaikapada is a Rudra, which means he has immense strength and power. He stands on on one leg- one foot firmly grounded, the other one in the air poised and ready to step. Symbolically, one foot is here, while the other is in another realm. This nakshatra has to do with endings, transformations, and the purification that occurs during this process. It is not the easy part, but the necessary part. When life feels challenging, like it's a struggle, it is usually because we've outgrown some old aspect of ourselves. Every ending leads to a new beginning. As the saying goes, when you're walking through hell, just keep walking. Today, step intentionally and invite in your new sacred dance. It is the day of Venus (Friday) and Venus is in young degrees, having newly entered Aquarius. Be gentle with your relationships today and attend to self care needs through creativity, dance and nature. Ground through the creative and sync up with your inner waters. Moon is waxing and shifts into the 5th tithi (lunar phase) late in the evening. This marks the first third of the waxing cycle. Moon moves to Pisces at 21:43 CST. Saturday, January 24th Today's Intention: Heal and transform by deeply letting go. Moon shifts to the latter half of the Bhadrapada stars at 03:12 am CST, enlivening UttaraBhadrapada and Ahirbudhnya, the serpent of the deep. This serpent energy helps us go beyond the surface, to explore parts of ourselves that may go unnoticed or unattended. The symbol of the Bhadrapadas is the funeral cot. As the latter half of this constellation, UttaraBhadrapada rules over the back half of the funeral cot, or the final letting go. There is some release possible today, if we are willing to go deep into our subconscious, our mental body, for further inquiry. With retrograde Mercury well under way, now is the time to be intentional with re-visiting your old, outworn thinking patterns. As Saturn rules the day and this nakshatra, using the physical body to help you access your inner depths will be extra potent. Use gentle movement and embodiment practices to help you get there. Sun moves to Sravana nakshatra at 03:17 am CST, joining a tight conjunction with retrograde Mercury there as well. The themes for the coming week are all expansion oriented- on the level of consciousness. Think bigger, and life gets bigger. It's our mental body, our imaginal realm, that can help us create the unseen into manifest form. With this tight conjunction occurring, don't let mental frazzle get the best of you. Mentally fried? It's a good time to meditate, dive deeply, and restore. Then use the clarity to get task oriented and fully organized. Take this reminder into your coming week. Sunday, January 25th Today's Intention: Lead yourself back to the nourishment that's already within you. Moon moves to Revati nakshatra at 01:28 am CST, the final nakshatra in the cosmic wheel, before we start a new cycle. Revati is a nourishing star that provides us with safe and fruitful journey's. Its ruling deity is Pushan, who helps us prosper by leading us back to our flock, back to our path, when we stray. He leads us to the nourishment, the essential ingredients for success. I liken Pushan to our intuition. When we have a strong connection to our intuitive knowing, we can trust ourselves, our choices, our actions, and the universe to provide exactly what we need. Let today inspire this gentle attention to your intuitive wisdom by allowing space for the emotional body to share with you. The mental body will be strong and sharp, with an agenda all of its own. The trick today is to go beyond this and to listen to the wisdom coming from your emotions instead. What nourishment can you gather from this place of deep listening? What does your emotional body share with you about your needs? Do a three level check in for clues. Monday, January 26th Just minutes after midnight, Moon hops into Aries and Ashwini nakshatra, inviting in the Ashvini Kumara twins. They offer us healing, rejuvenation and increased creativity as a result. Take action steps today that offer healing and restoration to you. Plan your week in tune with nature. Never miss a planetary update. Sign up for my weekly newsletter. Was this post helpful? Please share it with a friend! Thank you. The week starts with a Moon that is still very full, in the first tithi of the waning cycle, and in its own sign of Cancer. This fullness will carry us through the week. Keep your focus on what you are filling your container with as the Moon empties over the coming days. Monday, January 5th Today’s Intention: Think big! If you can dream it, you can create it. Moon transits Gemini and Punarvasu Nakshatra and still is very full. It moves into the first tithi, beginning the waning process, yet is still brimming with light and a sense of wholeness. As Moon shifts into its own sign of Cancer later in the day, a new sense of wholeness is exemplified. The creativity and connectivity of Gemini transitions into an emotional body centered awareness that carries us through tomorrow. The ruling deity of Punarvasu is Aditi, who offers us expansive qualities in order to enlarge our capacity to hold wisdom and enlarge our container. Let her softness, her nurturing, and her unity consciousness offer gifts as you keep your focus on filling yourself with nourishment. With Mars newly in Aquarius, a Saturn ruled air sign, we get an intense focus on ingenuity and innovation. Let this placement help you in the coming weeks create new and improved containers of nourishment for your self. If you need something different, now is the time to dream and scheme and put your desires into action. Think outside the box, but don’t forget to implement your efforts with strong, clear action steps. Moon shifts into its own sign, Cancer, at 17:24 CST, and our focus moves from mental body to emotional body. Use this time to get heart centered as the chest and ribcase, the heart and fourth chakra, are the ultimate container of life. Moon moves into Pushya nakshatra at 23:55 CST. Tuesday, January 6th Today’s Intention: Open up your channels and direct the flow. Moon transits its own sign, Cancer, with retrograde Jupiter, while in Pushya nakshatra. Moon and Jupiter receive direct gaze (drishti) from the highly creative planets, Mercury and Venus, who are now transiting Capricorn. They also receive gaze from Ketu, the planet of illumination and restructuring. Today brings a sense of heightened pressure and intensity, and yet the underlying sense is one of comfort and support. Allow the pressure to magnify what you need on a very fundamental level. Let yourself be cracked open so that the light can enter through these cracks. This is where you can access a new sense of depth and awakening. Be creative and invite in ingenuity. This is a time of radical change and finding new options and solutions for our greatest needs. Get open to receive, though it will likely come from some inner pressure. Venus moves into Sravana nakshatra at 14:28 CST and Vishnu begins to help us with our expansion process and our dharmic alignment. It will be through creativity, however, that we can maximize this expansion process. Be intentional with your creativity, the creative flow, and your attention to your inner power. Shakti begins to flow more rapidly now, but only if your channels are open. Work with my Creative Rituals and get embodied. Wednesday, January 7th Today’s Intention: Don’t get lost in your illusions and don’t forget to look in the mirror. Moon shifts into Ashlesha nakshatra at 02:15 am CST, and becomes closely conjunct Jupiter also in Ashlesha. This is a lunar star that is ruled by Mercury and Sarpa, a small snake associated with shadows and illusions. Our focus for today should be on expansion, but at what cost? Be cognizant of over drive and over doing it. Bringing awareness to your motivation can go a long way in helping you expand consciousness around your needs. What is the underlying need with your expansion desires? What needs are not currently being met? Let these answers point the way to what types of nourishment you need to feed yourself with. Be aware that the mental body and its illusions will be running the show. Illusions or imagination? Allow the imagination to assist your creation process but don't get lost in them. As Mercury moves into Sravana today at 11:34 am CST, the themes of expansion are intensified and heightened within the mental body. Both Venus and Mercury are in Vishnu's domain now. Mercury stays in Sravana for an extended period of time as he continues to move through this nakshtra, then retrogrades on January 21st, moving in reverse, back through this lunar constellation. Even after he goes direct on February 11th, we will experience Mercury briefly jumping back into Sravana on his way back through Capricorn. This cycle brings an opportunity for us to work for our dreams, our goals, and our desires in a very strategic and constructive way. It will take effort for us to expand, but it will be worth the effort we put in. Don’t neglect the intensity level, as Rahu will be giving his gaze to Mercury all the while. We may find ourselves pushing way too hard, over working and over achieving. The trick will be to expand, while maintaining a graceful balance with our physical body needs, in order to keep the mental body and emotional bodies more balanced and harmonious. If you can do it right now, you can do it in the future. Thursday, January 8th Today’s Intention: Ask the ancestors and ye shall receive. Moon jumps into Leo and Magha nakshatra at 04:57 am CST, igniting Sun energy and the sparks of Ketu. Magha is fierce and severe and ruled by Pitr, a nakshatra that expresses itself through the ancestors, lineage matters and especially the father. This is a day ruled over by masculine energy so use the power and force diligently and consciously. Channel the energy and power of the day in a way that allows you to get the biggest bang for your buck. Maximize by channeling your actions intentionally. Clean, purify and clarify. Ask the ancestors to support your efforts. Friday, January 9th Today’s Intention: Let your shakti out! Moon moves to Purvaphalguni nakshatra at 07:57 am CST, and creative fertility is unleashed. Let in the power of your creative energy today and turn up the dial so you can truly feel the effects. Working directly with my creative rituals- which bridge both art, creativity and embodiment- will help you maximize your efforts, and open your creation channels. The more open your creative channels, the more you can increase your manifestation capabilities. Very small channels, will offer very little results. The Phalguni stars are highly fertile, which allows for seeds to be planted for a very rich harvest. Work intentionally with your goals and aspirations and don’t neglect your powerful creation abilities. My Essentials of Manifestation Workshop is now available on my website, which is an ideal resource for making your 2015 truly amazing. With Mars and Saturn giving their gaze directly to the Moon in Leo over the next few days, we get a strong stop and go experience. We will feel big yes’s and big no’s. Pay attention to what is working and what is not. Wherever Saturn says “no”, you need to surrender more deeply and create a stronger container for holding. However, this Saturn Mars combination can also offer us very structured and powerful steps forward if we work with this energy effectively. Only put energy into the most vital needs right now. Don't get scattered. Saturday, January 10th Today’s Intention: Branch out and grow. Reach towards your own sweet nectar. Moon shifts into the latter half of Phalguni, Uttaraphalguni nakshatra, at 11:04 am CST. This star is ruled by Aryaman and the Sun. Sun is currently transiting a nakshatra ruled by Venus and the Water Goddess, Apas, which heightens the creativity of the Sun right now. There is an increased potency today with all things creative, all things love, and all relationship matters. Let fluidity and flow be a primary resource for you and try to keep this theme alive today in mental, emotional and physical bodies. The symbol of the Phalguni stars is a fig tree. Purvaphalguni is the young tree, while Uttaraphalguni is symbolized by an older fig tree. This symbolizes the growth, fertility and ripeness of each star at different phases of life. Figs are known for their sweetness and their aphrodisiac qualities. They nourish and balance with their inner nectar. This is the nature of the Phalguni stars. Use today for growth, sweetness, nourishment and fulfillment. Take necessary steps to create what you want to grow more of in your life. Moon jumps into Virgo at 17:51 CST, joining Rahu here and receives drishti from Ketu and Mars. Sunday, January 11th Today’s Intention: Keep on the sunny side of life. Sun shifts into UttaraAshada nakshatra at 01:03 am CST, inviting in the Vishvadevas assistance and support. They help us maintain our goodness, righteousness and keep us striving for self improvement. They keep us working towards honesty, truth and a noble character. Sun supports this process quite naturally which is why it rules over this nakshatra. We get a double dose of this illumination as Sun transits through the domain of this nakshtra in the coming weeks. Moon moves to Hasta nakshatra at 14:08 and Savitr enters with his dawning of light and awareness. Today, find ways to let the light enter. We may find it extra challenging, but remember that where the heat and intensity are, these are the places that need your diligent attention and intention. Use your a three level check in to help you identify your needs, then give yourself exactly what you need through self care nourishment. Recite Gayatri Mantra to assist you with lighting your inner lamp. Monday, January 12th Moon continues to transit Hasta nakshatra until 16:54 CST and then moves into Chitra, having crossed directly over Rahu. Work diligently with your shadows today and don’t let them get away with their mayhem. Need some extra guidance and clarity? Schedule a session with me.

We have just passed the new Moon and Winter Solstice, and now the Moon begins its waxing cycle. The week begins with a sense of deep emptiness, release, and if we are paying attention, the depth of our darkness. It is a magical time in many ways and full of vast potential. As the light begins to slowly return now to our days, I encourage you to be very intentional about what you are filling your cups with- mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. This is a time of potency and we can truly maximize it with intention and action steps. Join me for my workshop, The Essentials for Manifestation and maximize your intentions for 2015! Monday, December 22nd Today's Intention: It takes two to tango. Moon continues after the new Moon + Solstice through Mula nakshatra, with Sun here as well. The cutting and clearing continues until Moon shifts into PurvaAshada at 07:42 am CST, enlivening Apas, the water goddess and Venus. As Moon shifts into Apas's domain, we suddenly have three levels of water happening cosmically within Sagittarius. Both Venus and Mercury are also in PurvaAshada right now as the congestion of planets through Sagittarius continues. There is a dance occurring between Venus (three planets in PurvaAshada) and Jupiter (ruling planet of Sagittarius) right now that is effecting our material and spiritual bodies. Venus represents our asura (demon) energy, which is highly tethered to the earth plane and our manifestation process here. Jupiter on the other hand is knowledge based, connected to Akasha (space) and represents our deva (god) energy. We may be feeling this inner battle playing out within us between good thoughts and bad thoughts. Our wants and desires vs. what we are able to manifest. We may also be experiencing this as a battle of what is "right" and "wrong" going on within us. Some may literally be experiencing battles with demons in more confrontational ways. This is the battle of light and dark, shadow and light, our polarities. We can't get rid of either one, so now is the time to learn how to integrate these very different parts of ourselves. Tuesday, December 23rd Today's Intention: Harness the fire and let it guide you towards your awakening. Moon shifts into UttaraAshada, at 05:40 am CST, enlivening the Vishvadevas, or the "all-gods". The Vishva Devas are essentially the Laws of of Nature personified as devas. This nakshatra helps us enliven our good qualities, and find success through our light. You will likely feel the shift towards hope, possibility and greater support today. Maximize this and get clear on your goals and intentions for the new year. Sign up for my Essentials for Manifestation Workshop and transform your obstacles into clarity. Moon shifts into Capricorn at 11:08 am CST, joining exalted Mars there. Rahu and Jupiter give their drishti as well. The Dance of demon and asura in our emotional body continues. Whenever we have a conjunction of Mars and Moon, we have the opportunity to tap into a surge of our life giving passion. Often we feel this as rage and anger, but what is under this raw anger is raw passion, life force; divine life force from the energetics of MA. Use this power to take a powerful action step today that will move you closer to your dreams, goals and visions. Often we have to first encounter all that is not working, all that is holding us back from our true potential, in order to get to our true desire and need. I encourage you to dive deep, beyond the rage and look for the gift of your passion. What is your greatest need and desire? What are you willing to do in order to get this manifested? Wednesday, December 24th Today's Intention: Make your steps count! Moon travels through the sacred 28th nakshatra, Abhijit, in the early morning hours before it shifts into Sravana nakshatra at 03:29 am CST, joining exalted Mars in this nakshatra as well. The power and intensity of the emotional body is provoked today as Vishnu and the Moon are enlivened. The theme today is taking three steps- one for each, earth, sky and heaven- as Vishnu did. Let his "three steps" be metaphoric for you today. What are you stepping away from? Where are you standing right now? And what are you moving towards? With Moon and Mars in exact conjunction today, it is an ideal time for powerful action steps. What steps are you taking right now to maximize your life, your potential, your possibilities? For those of you who are truly ready to up level your new year, please join me for my Essentials for Manifestation Workshop! My early bird rate ends tonight at midnight!! Thursday, December 25th Today's Intention: Keep your light on. Moon has crossed over Mars now and jumps into Dhanishta nakshatra at 01:19 am CST, enlivening the Vasu Devas. These are the eight shining stars that bring light, prosperity and illumination to us. They help us transform, change and manifest through their light, helping us truly "shed light" on situations and experiences. Moon is still closely conjunct Mars until later in the day, so be mindful of the emotional body heat and charge available today. Tending to your needs, and honoring yourself through moments of self care will go a long way in keeping you cool and calm, and to keep your light shining. Is it time for a three level check-in?! Moon jumps into Aquarius at 12:17 CST, the domain of Saturn and Rahu, but is out of the gaze of any of the planets. Moon moves to Satabisha nakshatra at 23:18 CST. Friday, December 26th Today's Intention: Prioritize your life and put your self first. Moon transits Satabisha nakshatra in Aquarius, which is a nakshatra ruled by Varuna and Rahu. This star brings an energy of punishment and a necessity for following Natural Laws. Varuna has a thousand eyes and he sees everything- all wrongs especially- and doesn't have a problem showing you your fate. It's especially important to mind your health on Satabisha days and mind the laws of Nature as well. For some, today may feel like a big let down after days of celebration. The collapse after the expansion so to speak. Some may feel this in their body and experience the necessity for getting back on a more healthy and nourishing diet. Some may feel this as mental overwhelm as the to-do lists get longer. Others may feel this express itself as emotional depletion; too much of everything. Make today a self care day. One that nourishes the mental, emotional and physical bodies. I encourage you to use an exercise known as "emptying the head" by writing down all that you have to do on a piece of paper. Circle the top three to five priorities for today and get them done. For those who are ready to make 2015 truly count, join me for my three hour Manifestation class this Sunday! I'll be sharing resources, tools and my transformational process with you in order to make this your best year yet! Moon moves to PurvaBhadra nakshatra at 21:32 CST. Venus moves to UttaraAshada nakshatra at 23:02 CST, inviting in the Vishva Devas and breaks up the trifecta of planets in PurvaAshada. As Venus shifts into the domain of the Vishva Devas, an element of Sun increases, as well as our intensified desire for transformation, change and increased greatness. The coming weeks provide us with the ability to move closer to our desires, by following dharma, passion and our dreams. We will have to make changes in order to make this happen, so be sure you are adjusting your actions accordingly. As the saying goes "some people have dreams, and others stay awake to make them happen." Make your actions count right now and get focused on your transformation process. Saturday, December 27th Today's Intention: Keep one foot on the earth and one foot stepping towards heaven and your dreams. Moon transits PurvaBhadra nakshatra, inviting in the blessings of Ajaikapada and Jupiter. Aja is a Rudra (those who have immense strength) but is also considered a form of Shiva and a form of the Sun. It is known that Aja has the ability to cast off evil, and thus this is a nakshatra of purification. Often PurvaBhadra brings challenges, but as a result of these hardships, we are given opportunities to transform and change. The strength and power of the Rudra energy helps the transformation process occur. Today, retrograde Jupiter will be reminding us to re-visit some parts of ourselves on the mental and emotional body levels. If we are paying attention, we can start our transformation process and take steps to find greater balance, awareness and well being. Mars moves to Dhanishta nakshatra today at 13:34 CST and will transit the abode of the Vasu Devas for just under three weeks. The Vasu Devas bring us light, illumination and vision. They offer us prosperity and the ability to manifest on the material plane of existence, thus they are very materialistic in their support. Quite literally, "the world dwells in them and they dwell in the world." The Vasu Devas originated from jyoti (light) and spark the light within Jyotish. The coming weeks will bring increased opportunities for manifesting our desires, inspiring creativity and helping each one of us shine from the inside out. Because Mars is transiting this nakshatra, the light we express and the light we receive will be a direct result of our action steps! Here's to your powerful action steps and to the increasing light! This is an excellent time to create clarity about how you want to move forward in your life. Are you ready to make 2015 your year of transformation and manifestation? Then you're ready for my Essentials for Manifestation Class. This is the last day to register! Moon moves to Pisces at 14:26 CST, joining Ketu here and into Uttarabhadra nakshatra at 20:07 CST. Sunday, December 28th Today's Intention: Unwrapping your gifts requires your willingness to dive into the depths of your being. Moon transits Pisces with Ketu and receives drishti from Rahu and Jupiter. As Moon moves through Uttarabhadra nakshatra, the serpent of the nether realms, Ahirbudhnya, and Saturn are activated. We are given an opportunity to dive deep today. To go deeply into our subconscious terrain and transform our challenges, misfortunes and obstacles. Ahirbudhnya is a Rudra (much strength and power) as well as a Naga- a serpent that is connected to Ketu and our awakening process. With Moon and Ketu conjunct in Pisces right now, opportunities arrive for us to awaken and transform quickly. Be intentional with your obstacles today. How are these challenges really gifts in disguise? What are you willing to do in order to unwrap these gifts? It is a perfect day to be in my Essentials of Manifestation Workshop. We will be doing just this! I will be sharing with you all the resources and tools I use to transform my obstacles into gifts, in order to create your one precious and powerful life! Moon moves into Revati nakshatra at 19:04 CST and Pushan is activated. Nourishment and prosperity increases through this nakshatra as Pushan is a protective force who helps us on our path, our life travels. Moon nears exact conjunction with Ketu and our sensitivity increases. This is a time to be checking in with your emotional body wisdom and resourcing from your increased feelings. Use this time for awakening to your deep needs and get the nourishment you need. Need some extra guidance and clarity? Schedule a session with me.
