Monday, June 16 Moon transits Capricorn and Sravana nakshatra. Vishnu and his expansiveness as well as the Moon rule over the day. Movement is a key theme for today's experience as Vishnu is said to have traversed the three realms of earth, sky and heaven in three steps. Look for threes today. Use the metaphor of three steps as a key for your actions. Work with the "emergence of the third" and metaphors that include bridging the unknown with the known. What can we bring forth from our depths in order to arrive at a new destination? Vishnu is about expansion, so let your dreams take you to a fuller experience, a more expansive state of mind. Take care of mind/body and spirit today. Saturn energy may slow down the arrival at our desired destination, so work with frustrations consciously. At 16:39 CDT, Moon moves into Dhanishta and we can take the awareness of Sravana into action and implementation. Nourish and be nourished. Create and share your creativity. Let the Vasu Devas help you shine. Mercury has moved back into Mrigashirsha nakshatra in his retrograde dance. He is transiting Gemini with Sun who just entered Gemini and Jupiter who is on his way out. He's feeling the movement, the change, the uncertainty of the other planets and reflecting this to us in our mental body. Frustrations and emotional upheavals are coming from this abundance of movement and change right now. It's palpable. Work with the instability in conscious ways- through dance and creative movement. Tuesday, June 17th Moon moves to Aquarius at 03:35 am CDT and receives drishti (gaze) from Rahu and Jupiter in this position. Moon transits Dhanishta nakshatra. Mars and the Vasu Devas rule the day. The Vasu Devas help us shine and be seen through our gifts. They are sources of illumination and prosperity; literally the light or jyoti. Dhanishta people like to share information and like to be heard- especially through music and creativity. Create, share, take action. Find new ways to get your message out there; get innovative. Moon moves into Satabisha at 14:37 CDT. Rahu and Varuna are enlivened as a result. Guard your health today and take preventative measures for creating wellness. Eat well and nourish your self with good food, proper routine and self care tools. Avoid excess sugar, caffeine, alcohol and intoxicants. Be mindful that on Satabisha days, we may turn excessively critical. This gaze may turn inward or outward- or both. Wednesday, June 18th Moon transits Aquarius and Satabisha nakshatra until 13:00 CDT receiving drishti (gaze) from Rahu and Jupiter. Many of the suggestions from yesterday apply. Rahu and Varuna are enlivened as a result. Guard your health today and take preventative measures for creating wellness. Eat well and nourish your self with good food, proper routine and self care tools. Avoid excess sugar, caffeine, alcohol and intoxicants. Be mindful that on Satabisha days, we may turn excessively critical. This gaze may turn inward or outward- or both. With the momentous transits happening, we may feel as though we are in a balancing act as the deity Ajaikapada reminds us (another name for Shiva). Lord Shiva expresses in his dance, one foot firmly rooted, the other lifted and in balance; we can feel this sense of limbo today as the transits intensify. So much is in transition right now, hanging in balance, neither here nor there. Can you feel it? Purvabhadrapada signifies endings, letting go, the funeral cot that symbolizes death and transition. This is where we are right now. At the edge. Letting go. It is a big day of transits and changes. Venus moves to its own sign of Taurus on 06.18 at 07:08 am CDT away from Mars’s drishti and the conjunction of Ketu. This may be the stabilizing force that allows us to make more lasting and life-supporting changes for ourselves during the next month. Thursday, June 19th Moon moves to Pisces at 06:07 am CDT and transits PurvaBhadrapada nakshatra, receiving drishti (gaze) from Mars. The morning starts with influences from Ajaikapada and Jupiter. Jupiter arrives into Cancer officially and Venus settles into its own sign of Taurus as well. Moon receives drishti (gaze) from Jupiter in this position. Look for glimpses of gentleness today and invite in a softer approach to life and relationships. Moon moves into UttaraBhadrapada at 11:53 am CDT which energizes Saturn and Ahirbudhnya, the serpent of the depths. This is naga serpent energy though- the kind that brings insights and awareness with excavation below the surface. Dive deep today and explore possibility and purpose. Seek out stability. Sun and retrograde Mercury collide in Gemini causing a heated mind. Issues coming back to haunt you? Noticing old patterns resurfacing? Retrograde Mercury is working his magic on us. Saturday, June 21st Solstice occurs on 6.21 at 05:54 am CDT. It is officially summer for the Northern Hemisphere. Moon crosses the tricky junction point between Pisces and Aries at 11:13 am CDT. The morning may be best spent slowly and silently as Moon transitions from water into fire. As Moon enters Aries, it moves into Ashwini nakshatra, nearing Ketu. It also gets drishti from Mars here. As the day takes shape, the fire in us enlivens and Moon collides with Ketu. Use this heat and passion for activation and action steps. Some of us may get instant messages and sudden brilliant ideas! Address anger and agitations head on. Not by forcing your agendas and objectives on others, but by looking within and noticing where the emotion is arising from. How does anger serve you, or how has it served you in your life? It wouldn’t be there unless you relied on it for some reason. Find ways to use it as a resource, a tool of passion and greater inner awareness. Don’t suppress it or lash out at others. Let it to inform your process. Use the day resourcefully. Use healing modalities, purification practices, rasayanas and rejuvenation treatments for getting your needs met. Create, sing, open your artistic channels. Just before midnight, Sun moves into Ardra nakshatra, heightening our connection to Rudra and Rahu until 7.05. Emotional upheaval, intense movement and change, calamities and uncertainties may be increased. Some worldly success may be provided for some in the coming weeks, but watch for excessive cravings simultaneously. This will be an excellent time to navigate our emotional body with very deliberate awareness as we will likely be feeling some passing clouds and stormy weather. Sunday, June 22nd Moon transits Aries and moves into Bharani nakshatra at 11:38 am CDT, enlivening Venus and yama. Transformation, death, release and letting go surface today. The day and its desire may require us to use restraint. Keep it simple. This is an excellent time to cut out attachments. This may be in relationships or simply with house cleaning- or both. We can clean and purge from the inside out. What are you willing to let go and release? What do you no longer need? What needs to be cut loose? What can be restructured in your life so that you have more space for what truly nourishes you? We may also get great clarity today about what we truly need to move forward in our lives. Mercury is retrograde as well as Saturn. Be mindful of your inner and outer communication. Put new systems in place for better overall communication- with others, with your life, with your self.
Monday, June 9th Moon transits Swati nakshatra in Libra today, sandwiched between a sandhi Rahu and a retrograde, weak, Saturn. Vayu enlivens movement today. Change, movement and strong currents are invited in as a result. With the storm energy (Rudra) in Libra, the Moon may trigger strong weather, and sudden rain storms (Venus/Ketu aspect). Carry an umbrella. These storms may be internal, so expect these sudden storm clouds to arrive with thunder and lightening. They will likely pass as quickly as they arrive. Note how and when the clouds emerge as the mental body will likely stir the inner pot. With Mercury retrograde right now, it look for connections to an issue or event from the past that triggers the feelings within you. The mental and emotional bodies may brood today. Get embodied. Find movement as a resource and attend to Vayu, the wind god, and your inner winds with breath work, pranayama, yoga and body work. Tuesday, June 10th Moon continues to pass through Libra, nearing Saturn today, and moves into Vishaka nakshatra at 06:47 am CDT. Indragni and Jupiter rule the day. As Moon nears exact conjunction with Saturn (at 13:29 CDT) expect emotional intensity, a swelling of heart matters and a need for digesting and assimilating- especially in regard to relationship matters. Yesterday's stormy weather prediction resurfaces today. Bring an umbrella and tend to your emotional storms. Today, seek comfort and nourishment, support and assistance, rather than isolation and loneliness. Find ways to get your needs met with self care, self expression, and extra comforts. Use creative resources to get you out of your emotional ruts. Remember that digging up the soil is necessary before you can plant the seeds. Wednesday, June 11th Moon moves into Scorpio just after midnight at 00:12 am CDT and moves into Anuradha nakshatra at 05:55 am CDT. As Moon moves into its sign of debilitation, the brooding from the previous days takes a heightened turn towards the inner realms. This is a necessary phase in the emotional transformation process, but diligence is required so we don't get stuck in the mire for too long. Use your turmoil for cultivating more awareness and introspection and don't get lost in details- that's where the overwhelm resides. Intuition will be heightened right now, so pay attention to your first responses and instincts. Listen carefully. The intense energy of the previous days begins to break up today, a good sign that movement is occurring. Use this as momentum for personal change. Connect with a special friend for extra support and nourishment. Thursday, June 12th Moon transits Scorpio, its sign of debilitation, and moves into its final tithi (Moon phase) of its waxing cycle in the wee hours of the morning. As Moon moves into Jyeshtha nakshatra at 04:23, Indra and Mercury are enlivened for our day and our full Moon. With Mercury retrograde, the theme of re-tracing past steps and experiences is activated, so expect a sense of Deja Vu today. There are awakenings tangible so keep your eyes open and your mind open to possibility as well. Indra brings with him a certain power and need for control. Extreme sensitivity is likely today and the senses may be overwhelmed easily as a result. Take precautions and find ways to self soothe and self care so that you don't get overwhelmed. Full Moon is today at 23:10 CDT. This full Moon brings with it a power and intensity that can provoke inner change. Capitalize on this and bring intention to what you are ushering in. Friday, June 13th Moon moves to Sagittarius and Mula nakshatra today at 02:22 am CDT as the Moon enters the first tithi (Moon phase) of the waning cycle. Uproot and unravel today. Dig up the dirt and churn your internal waters. Today is a day of disruption and attuning to the Laws of Nature. Expect some chaos and calamity as part of the parcel. Prepare for sudden changes and toxic people as well as explosive situations. Some duress is possible. The savior today is creativity and creation. Get into your process and let it consume you. The mental body will be pulling you out of center and pushing you into old storm clouds. The easiest way to step out of the landmines will be to get embodied. Get out of the mind and into the body. Late in the evening turn your heart and sorrows towards devotion. Remember your gratitude. Saturday, June 14th Moon moves to Purvashada nakshatra moments after the stroke of midnight. Apas, the water goddess and Venus are enlivened today. Cut, clear, restructure, reorganize, renegotiate your relationship contracts. They have all been in flux lately. Today, let some nourishment and depth cleanse, purify and nourish your felt senses. We are all cutting out those pieces and people that don't serve as supportive and reliable. Today may offer another level of awareness with this process. Right now, we get to practice really healthy and necessary boundaries, so if there are agitations, remind your self of what needs to shift. What is in your control? What can you say no to? What additional self care tools can you offer your self- even in the toughest moments? Make sure you create time for ritual, for sweating and moving the body and for tears today. Moon moves to Uttarashada nakshatra at 21:30 CDT. Expect some new perspective on your day and a "do good" mentality to take over. Sunday, June 15th Sun moves to Gemini just after midnight and joins a retrograde Mercury and sandhi (in the gap) Jupiter here. These three planets receive gaze (drishti) from Rahu. Wisdom and mental acuity sharpen in this coming Sun cycle. Get your ducks in a row and make high level plans. Avoid self doubt and self sabotage. Instead, step into your power and rise to the tasks at hand. Use the next four weeks of Sun in Gemini to tackle mental, creative and monetary goals with power and pizazz. No slacking, but don't overwhelm yourself with too many irons in the fire. Best practice is being very calculated and concrete about your to-do list. Check things off one by one. Moon transits Uttarashada nakshatra today and moves into Capricorn at 02:51 am CDT. Vishvadeva and Sun rule today. The Vishvadevas or "all gods" are essentially the Laws of Nature, or universal principles. They remind us of ethics, respect and other people's needs, as well as the crucial parts of life like joy, time, leadership and our connection to lineage and the ancestors. Stick to dharma today and be ethical in your actions. Attract what you want in life by being. Take the necessary action steps to call in what you want. Follow your dreams. Follow your visions. Find it here. The hype around Jupiter's transit is growing. There is much buzz, as there should be. Jupiter, the planet of abundance, wisdom, expansion and teaching is moving to its favorite sign, Cancer, for the next twelve months. Many are declaring this is a powerful and positive year for all. And while I agree that the trend and overall feeling of this transit will be expansive, I temper my predictions. The benevolence of Jupiter is well known, but he's not a lovely supportive gentleman to everyone, and we must contend with the other transits effecting him simultaneously. It will in fact be a mixed bag, a year with some ups and downs as always. What the planets and their ever changing dance reminds us is that nothing in life is all good, nor all bad. There's always a bit of both. This is the universe maintaining its balance and giving us ample opportunity for personal growth. When we expand too much, we must counter this with contracting. When we contract too much, we must learn to expand more. This dance of open and close is wrapped up in the nature of Cancer, fourth house matters, the heart and breath- our life force. As Jupiter, the expansive planet, moves into Cancer, he offers us an opportunity to experience an increase in this expansive quality, whether it's with heart, emotions, home matters, breath or other fourth house, Cancer related issues. In other words, it will be an expansive year emotionally and it can offer more comfort and nourishment to many of us. It will also teaching quite clearly about our emotions and how to dance with them more effectively. This expansive energy is tempered at times by aspects from Saturn (the planet of contraction, of slow growth, of grief and suffering). This aspect from Saturn asks us to cultivate a new relationship with our sense of balance, to find a new set-point for ourselves. Saturn, for better or for worse, always has our best interests in mind, even if it doesn't feel like it. If we pay attention to his ways, we can flow more smoothly in our lives. He will be protecting us from expanding too quickly or too much, so pay attention. Saturn is timing and timing is everything. Jupiter moves into Cancer on June 18th, 2014 at 20:23 CDT. It will take a little over 12 months for him to move through this Cancer; he moves to Leo on July 13th of 2015. While in Cancer, Jupiter will experience openings and closings, forward motion and backward motion, and move through three different nakshatras. These will of course be occurring with other planetary transits going on and will interact with our own unique charts in a variety of ways. Here's the breakdown: When Jupiter moves to Cancer on June 18th, he receives gaze (drishti) from a retrograde Saturn still transiting its sign of exaltation, Libra (in the Jaimini jyotish system, Saturn is considered debilitated as a result). Here in Cancer, Jupiter will still be in Punarvasu nakshatra, ruled by Aditi, the mother of all goodness, who provides us with an understanding of unification and universal awareness. This nakshatra is also ruled by the planet Jupiter, so we get the sense of expansion here. And yet a weak Saturn is giving his scrutiny and watchful gaze to Jupiter as he moves into his "happy place". The result? We may not be feeling as joyful and expansive as we would like. We will likely be re-tracing foundational steps still. Steps that are less about fun and opening to the "new" and more about what we "should" be doing, what is asked of us, and what our relationships are asking of us. This brings some guaranteed pressures and frustrations that will be the impetus for greater changes in the coming months. On 7.04.14, Jupiter moves to Pushya nakshatra. This is where we really begin to explore the dynamics of expand/contract. (Use my Exalted Jupiter workshop in order to learn more about this dynamic). Pushya is ruled by both Brihaspati (another name for Jupiter, personified) and the planet Saturn. He is connected to nourishment and support, knowledge and wisdom so expect this to be a turning point in your Exalted Jupiter transit experience. However, Jupiter will still be receiving drishti from a compromised Saturn at this time, yet the pressure from Saturn's gaze lightens and gets more forward momentum once Saturn goes direct on 7.20. His watchful gaze is present nonetheless, but we may begin to feel more hope for the future, more possibility and a greater sense of purpose when Saturn goes direct. Rahu and Ketu Change Signs Another lift might be felt as a result of Rahu and Ketu changing into Virgo and Pisces respectively on July 12th. Rahu getting out of Saturn's way, and out of Libra altogether, will lesson pressure, intensity and the stormy weather syndrome that has been plaguing so many of us as a result of the intense Rudra energy. Look for my Rahu/Ketu article coming out soon. From these new placements of Jupiter, Rahu and Ketu, new gazes are given. Jupiter will gaze at Ketu and Ketu will gaze back to him (though technically Ketu can not give drishti because he has no head, I have found Ketu's influence of gaze to give substantial effects). Ketu is a "planet" of moksha, liberation, cutting our attachments and asking us to let go of what we are holding on to. Jupiter is a planet of wisdom, the guru, or teacher, and asks us to expand our ideas and he pushes us towards growth. Jupiter will be giving his gaze to Ketu in Pisces, a sign that he rules, so we will be letting go, finding endings and cutting chords with wisdom and growth in mind. Letting go of relationships, and our attachments to them, will be a central theme. Many of us may feel like we have awoken from a great slumber during the coming months as we suddenly realize where we are overly attached, clinging, not clear with boundaries and needs, and possibly giving too much to others while neglecting ourselves. There is nourishment here, but we must work to get the comfort and support. Ketu strips away the veils of our illusion, but at least Jupiter's gaze insures that we can receive some awareness (and some level of comfort in that awareness) as a result. When Jupiter moves to Ashlesha nakshatra on 9.03, our serpent energy is enlivened as well as the planet Mercury. Mercury will be exalted in Virgo at this time and Rahu will be there as well. Some may feel mental confusion and overwhelm during the greater part of September, others will benefit from monetary wealth and support as well as a bit more notoriety. We all may be feeling some or all of these things. Tending to the mental body at this time will be paramount as it will likely be out of control and imbalanced. Saturn Moves to Scorpio As Saturn moves into Scorpio on 11.02, his drishti on Jupiter ends and the roles reverse; Jupiter gets to give his gaze to Saturn now. Finally, we may begin to take a long, deep breath, expand and grow with more leaps and bounds. A sense of opening may be felt, some new shift and guaranteed changes are here for each of us. The movement of Saturn into Scorpio is a powerful transit in and of itself, and will carry with it a deeply transformational current of change. Change that come from our depths; a new structure that removes our masks, our shadows, our vulnerabilities. Scorpio is the ultimate sign known for darkness, depth, mystery and deaths of all kind. Scorpio, however, is the sign that Moon is debilitated in and so we must realize that part of the structure, or construction/deconstruction, taking place for the 2.5 years of this next transit, will be centered around the emotions. Since Jupiter will be transiting the seat of emotions (Cancer), expect emotional work to be enlivened for the rest of the Jupiter transit as a result of Saturn's new home. This is perhaps where our greatest emotional work of this cycle really begins and intensifies. But before you bristle, remember that Jupiter is guiding us with wisdom and support. We will get our needs met if we are truly open and receptive to it. Jupiter Goes Retrograde The openings felt in November take a turn in December. The inner emotional changes intensify as Jupiter begins his retrograde dance on 12.08. In the Jaimini system of Jyotish, an exalted planet in retrograde motion is considered debilitated and weakened. It is acting like a node (Rahu and Ketu) in its expression. Only the nodes move in reverse all the time- against the grain of the other planets. In this period from 12.08.14 to 4.08.15, we will be asked to go over old territory, old ground, re-trace old steps and patterns, find new ways of emoting, expressing and working with our hearts. The retrograde cycles always give us an opportunity to catch what we've been missing, check in for deeper inquiry, and to strengthen our ability to make more lasting changes within our behaviors. These "clean up" cycles are thus necessary and vital for greater, and more powerful, movement forward. A weakened, debilitated Jupiter, however, will have effects on our spirits. The expansion energy will be tested once again, but in a different way. Retrograde Jupiter will call upon us to re-evaluate our alignments, our desires, our push to expand. It is an opportunity to re-align with our core purpose, what drives us and aligns more holistically with our soul's calling. If you've let the expansion energy get the best of you, to override your inner wisdom, this will be the time of change you will need to re-center. This debilitation of Jupiter will come during winter, the silent season in the Northern Hemisphere, and can be a time of moving inward more consciously. The final three weeks of Jupiter's retrograde dance will include a retrograde Saturn simultaneously. Talk about a time of inner reflection and finding new ways of being, new patterns, and new structures within our existence! For most of us, this time period will ask us to do some very intense work on our physical and emotional bodies simultaneously. Staying grounded and getting embodied will be absolutely crucial. Make sure to check in with me for a virtual workshop at this time. Jupiter's retrograde dance will be entirely within Ashlesha nakshatra. As mentioned above, this enlivens serpent energy, Sarpa, as well as Mercury (mental body). We are guaranteed a powerful inner dance with the mental body during this time frame, one that helps us to actively and consciously work on our serpent energy- the pieces that are gripping us. Serpent energy can be connected to cravings, insatiable worldly appetites, illusions of all kinds, deceptions, and the trappings of Rahu. Sarpa can help us work on our addictions, our bad habits ingrained in our minds, and removal of toxicity. This may be a good cycle to get assistance from a shaman or healing modalities that can help remove demons. Use the debilitation of Jupiter to work diligently on the shadowed mind and mental body themes that are your defaults, your crutch. This will be a time where we get to re-work the mind and unravel some shadowed perceptions. Once Jupiter goes direct on 4.08, he finishes out his Cancer cycle in a forward moving fashion. The final three and half months of this year long transit are in Ashlesha nakshatra. The themes central to Sarpa, Mercury and the mental body carry us through to the end of Jupiter's exaltation. Overall, this Jupiter cycle through Cancer is about working through our emotional limitations. Are we resisting our emotional work? Bypassing the depth of our emotions? Keeping our heart closed or too open and vulnerable? What are we opening to and closing to? These universal themes will be enlivened for each of us in very unique ways depending on our natal charts and individual mythologies. Working with creativity, embodiment and healing modalities that offer a spectrum of guidance will be most effective. Seek out high levels of knowledge and wisdom this year, it will be ripe and ready to eat, and likely you will realize you are ravenous for it! Life Themes for Exalted Jupiter So what are these themes that may show up for you based on your jyotish rising sign? Here's a rundown by sign of the messages, issues and areas of life that will be enlivened during this Exalted Jupiter in Cancer transit. *These tendencies are based on your Vedic rising sign. You can also check your Moon and Sun signs for further insight. Do the same with your Navamsa signs for further clarity. Relationships play a central role for you in this Jupiter cycle and they also play a crucial role in your emotional work. Taurus: It will be a year of increased courage and creativity. Ask for support and communicate effectively. Tend to the needs of your parents if necessary and prepare for greater wisdom and knowledge to come from teachers, gurus and guides. Relationships in general will be showing you a lot about your Self, so be available for the hidden messages. Gemini: Self expression is a strong theme for the coming year. Speak, share and don't hold back. Communicate what you need effectively, share your emotions, get clear on boundaries. Nourish your self and absorb the nutrients coming to you. Watch your diet and avoid excess food, sweets, dairy. Your emotional work directly impacts how far you get ahead in this cycle. Don't bypass the pain, use it effectively to inform your process. Cancer: Self awareness and expansion of what you see possible for your Self is a central theme. Expand your hopes and dreams and go for increased knowledge and wisdom. Work with your child-like senses and passions. Grow in your Self by lightening your load. Do so by releasing your attachments- especially regarding relationships. This comes with diligently tending to your emotional work and working with themes of loneliness and letting go. Listen to your gut, cut out bad habits, and step into a service role. Scorpio: Teach, share, advise and listen to the wisdom that surrounds you. Gurus, teachers and guides usher you forward. Your emotional work, as always, is central to the depth of your harvesting. Ride the waves. Sagittarius: Transformations are the central theme for this cycle. Losses, letting go, endings and death, bring vital information for your journey. The best way to receive the comfort you need will be to get very clear on what nourishes and supports you. Consciously being present to your emotions, pains and struggles, without negating them or covering them up, is crucial for your liberation process. Get good at asking for help when you need it. Capricorn: Relationships dominate your focus and attention. Who and what is getting your time and energy? Boundaries are an important part of this conversation so that you aren't giving your self away unconsciously. Teach, share and advise and be creative and courageous in your offerings. Use child-like wonder for seeing your world in a new way. Seek new knowledge and wisdom through education, teachers, gurus and guides. Your expansion and personal growth is inevitable, but don't get lazy and lackadaisical. Work with children and welcome them into your life. Explore loss and letting go, endings and shadow realms, in order for a deeper educational experience. In the Body-centered Expressive Art Therapy work I use with clients, I often refer to the Mental, Emotional and Physical Bodies. I then share with them that these three bodies are upheld by the Spiritual Body. This corroborates with the Ayurvedic and Vedic Science understandings as well, and this explanation is often used in many of the Indigenous healing arts and energetic healing realms as well.
Within our Westerncentric culture, however, the Mental Body is king and we are asked to rely on its function predominantly. Unfortunately, many of us have other defaults that help us function in a more life-supporting way, but we may not get to use them as often as the Mental Body. We may have even learned to suppress the others as a way to cope with life and "manage" our existence. These different "default" settings within us are a reminder that we each learn differently and express ourselves differently as a result. It's important to create a relationship with all three bodies in our daily lives so that we can become more aware of what is "ruling" us, what predominates within our behaviors, and where we might need to create more conscious awareness. For example, many people have little to no connection with their emotional bodies and often confuse the messages coming from the emotional body with what the mental body is saying. This can result in not getting our basic emotional needs met. In order for us to get our needs met (either by ourselves or others) we must be aware of what our needs are to begin with! Having a conscious relationship, a habit, of checking in with our three bodies or "three levels of awareness" as they are referred to in the Tamalpa Life Art Process (TLAP) is step number one. When we have a more conscious connection to our inner realms, we can then take more effective actions and create a more nourishing and supportive life for ourselves. Often this will come from a realization of "what isn't working" and then changes can start from there. Our emotional, mental and physical bodies have much to tell us and many insights to offer us about what is and isn't working in our lives. Category #1: Physical Body Category #2: Emotional Body Category #3: Mental Body Category #4: Spiritual Body Your highest numbers will reflect your "default" mode. These modes may change from day to day, week to week, year to year and so on. Ideally, we are creating an ongoing dialogue with these four bodies that helps us maintain a sense of balance and thriving.
