The Moon swells and expands this week, asking us to respond to her increased flow. The most powerful full Moon of the year occurs late in the week and Saturn goes direct after four and half months of retrograde motion. Let out the exhale and find your release. Monday is influenced by Mercury as the Moon moves through Jyeshtha nakshatra, Indras constellation. With Moon transiting its debilitation sign, Scorpio and in Jyeshtha, extreme sensitivity and overwhelm can occur easily. The sensorial level of our being is easily impacted as well as the mental and emotional bodies. The mental body is extra sensitive right now in general- as Mercury and Sun are combust with Ketu's gaze. Frazzled and fried? What can you do to turn down the heat and defrag the system? Hint: Less is more. Remove anything unnecessary from your plate. August Jyotish Basics classes are open for enrollment. Early Bird price + special free gift is available for 48 hours only! Get the Details. Just as Tuesday begins, Moon jumps into Sagittarius and Mula nakshatra. Nirrti, the dark goddess, arrives with her upheaval and removal tactics. Mars and Jupiter give their gaze, offering some clarity and tenacity to an otherwise delicate time. Can you get focused and clear? Aim high and meet your mark. Stay out of the chaos and overwhelm by landing and grounding as much as possible in the physical body. This will take courage but try to land on your feet. Mars moves to the edge of Gemini and is sandhi (in the gap). Soften your action steps and relax the mind. Meditation is an excellent use of your time today. PurvaAshada nakshatra starts the day on Wednesday, sharing the powerful flow of Apas and her watery ways. Her strength can be a blessing or an overwhelming inundation. If you've been feeling the pressure, it's time to open the floodgates and find the release valve. This may come with emotions and tears, but let them flow and cleanse you. Mercury begins to separate from close conjunction with the Sun and our mind begins to get some relief as well. Feeling the frustration still? Mars is at the edge of Gemini, still tickling our mental body with red and reaction. What is underneath the agitation? Find the need and see what action steps need to be taken for greater ease. Today, uproot and pull up old, inner weeds. Just before midnight, Moon shifts to UttaraAshada. Registration for August Jyotish Basics classes is closing on Friday, July 31st! Don't miss out on a month of support with your personal growth, healing and transformation. Get the Details. Day of the guru, Jupiter, arrives as Moon transits UttaraAshada. As Thursday arrives, Moon moves to Capricorn mid-morning, receiving drishti (gaze) from five planets simultaneously. Sun, Mercury, Mars, Rahu and Saturn offer a recipe for overwhelm and intensity, yet the Vishvadevas offer their support through resources and aligning with our truth. Look for flashes of insights and awareness regarding your gifts and inner wisdom. Listen carefully and align with your highest knowing. Trust your inner light to guide you. Catch yourself in the emotional extremism before you go down the rabbit hole. What do you need to do in order to ground and land in your body more fully? As the waxing Moon peaks, another planetary shift occurs. Mars moves to its debilitation sign, Cancer, joining Mercury and Sun here. On July 30th at 13:14, the warrior, fire planet moves to the watery and emotive sign of Cancer and will be here until mid September. These two forces naturally oppose each other as Mars is reactive and action oriented and Cancer is connected to feelings and the emotional body. Mars is not a thinker or a feeler, he is a doer. Conflicts between thoughts, feelings and actions occur in this cycle, however there is opportunity to bring light and greater awareness to our heart wisdom. If you feel irritation and anger, it's time to dig deeper. What are the needs underneath the outbursts? What expression needs to be released, rather than repressed? How can you tend to your emotional body wisdom with greater compassion and clarity? Ask yourself "Where am I pushing too hard?" Matters with home, heart, mother, land and property feel the extra level of fire and complexity right now. Be gentle and soften your heart wherever possible. Find ways to balance your action and non-action, as there may be confusion with how to move forward in this cycle with rest and activity. For those with prominent placements or strong influences of Mars in your chart, this is somewhat of a rest cycle for you. Pushing too hard will be counterproductive. Make your heart and home the priority. Moon is in the 15th tithi (purnima) and final phase of the waxing cycle as of the morning of July 30th. However, the fullest part of the Moon is not until Friday early in the morning. Late afternoon into late evening, Moon passes through the most sacred nakshatra of all, the little known 28th nakshatra, Abhijit. The domain of Abhijit is in between UttaraAshada and Sravana nakshatra- from 6 degrees 40 to 10 degrees 53. Use this time for meditation and sharing your intentions with the universe. As Moon shifts to Sravana late in the evening a more expansive sacredness arrives. Align with your intentions and seek clarity with your path. I'll be offering a free Creative Ritual web class for Guru Purnima. Make sure you're on the list. Friday begins with a sense of auspiciousness as Moon transits Sravana nakshatra. The fullest full Moon of the Vedic calendar, called Guru Purnima, is dedicated to gurus, teachers and honoring our spiritual lineage. The exact time of the full Moon is 03:42 am Pacific Time, while Moon is in Capricorn and Sravana nakshatra. This is the second full Moon of July and a powerful time to align with deep intention, sacredness and dharma. Attend to the wisdom within, honor your teachers and lineage, while using ritual to solidify your intentions. How can you clarify your path and commit to your purpose more fully? Sravana is Vishnu's constellation and he brings an expansiveness that can be transcendental and awakening. Vishnu's purpose is to uphold dharma, which he does through sound. Open your mind and see what you find. Root through the feet and let your body wisdom help you listen. Late evening, Moon shifts into Dhanishta nakshatra and the Vasu Devas come out to shine. Saturday is the day of Saturn, but Moon moves through a Mars ruled constellation, Dhanishta. Moon shifts to Aquarius mid morning, a sign ruled by both Saturn and Rahu and gives a nod to the 11th house of gains and friendships. Moon receives gaze from Jupiter and Venus as well as Mars. Passion, anyone? There is also a certain bright and shining light shared with this nakshatra. Natives often have a very distinct glow which is a gift from the Vasu Devas. They support our ability to be seen, noticed and wealthy- through our action steps. They bring the jyoti, the light and love us to align and activate dharma. Take an action step towards your dharma today that will make the Vasu Devas proud! Let your heart wisdom and emotional body guide you. Moon shifts to Satabisha nakshatra early evening. Just before 22:00, Saturn goes direct. I'll be doing cartwheels!! What about you?! This ends over four months of slow, intensified returns that have kicked up grief, sadness, loss and fears. Let out your breath, sigh with relief, notice where you've been holding on and seek release. Structure, focus, movement and stability begin to move in a forward direction. Find a new dance, step wisely, acknowledge your path and the road you have traveled. Find a place within where you can cultivate some new joy. Read more about Saturn in Scorpio. Sunday is ruled by Rahu and Varuna as the Moon transits through Satabisha nakshatra. Moon is waning and enters the 3rd tithi today, called tritiya, a Vishnu ruled Moon phase. Satabhisha and Varuna guard Natural Law, the laws of the universe. Nothing gets past Varuna's gaze and scrutiny. There is a certain healing and sacredness with this nakshatra, as well as harshness and an intensified critic. Can you dance with the devil but find your own drum beat? Moon shifts to the first half of Bhadrapada late afternoon. Keep dancing, even if it feels impossible. Let Ajaikapada help you balance overwhelm, uncertainty and upheaval. Stomp and kick up some dust. Count your steps and work your way through Monday with PurvaBhadrapada and Lord of the Dance. *Pacific Time Zone is used for all planetary timing. This Week's Intention: The deeper the release, the deeper the opening. How open and available are you for change? Monday begins with a waning Moon in Satabisha nakshatra, Varuna's domain. His symbol is an empty circle and he is connected to restraint. Varuna brings strong resistance at times but may be helpful with creating healthy boundaries. Are you resisting or avoiding? Are you conscious of this or pushing vital nourishment away? How can you say "yes and..." today- inviting in deeper nourishment yet also letting go of what no longer serves your truest needs? Say yes and stay open to possibilities for more of what truly serves you. Dance with both, with possibilities, with hope and trust the support to hold you. Just as Tuesday arrives, Moon moves to Purvabhadrapada nakshatra. Ajaikapada, another expression of Lord of the Dance, reminds us of the delicate dance of life. He helps us balance challenge and defeat mighty odds. He reminds us that we can stay grounded and rooted, while preparing for change and transition. He is here and he is there. Where are you? How are you staying grounded, yet open for change? As evening arrives, Moon shifts to Pisces, joining Ketu in this sign, while also receiving drishti from Rahu and Jupiter. Our emotional bodies become extra sensitive in the coming days. Self care is essential. Just before Wednesday begins, Moon moves to the latter half of the bhadrapada constellation, Uttarahadrapada, and the serpent of the deep, Ahirbudhnya enters with his deep inquiry and investigative awareness. Moon and Ketu are in exact conjunction today, creating extra sensitivity and the potential for abrupt shifts and changes in our emotional body. Tend to your inner needs, rest and do self care. Take time for a four level check-in and also for meditation today. Moon shifts to Revati nakshatra around midnight and greater nourishment arrives. Revati rules the day on Thursday, with its deity, Pushan, supporting our path with blessings, safety and fruitful offerings. As Moon moves away from Ketu, the rawness of our emotional body begins to re-stabalize. Mercury goes direct at 15:30 and the mental body resumes a forward inclination. Greater support and nourishment will be available now that we exit sheer clean-up mode. Enjoy the mental space and notice the mind clutter you removed during the past few weeks! Now is the time to get extra creative, more communicative and move towards new connections and collaborations. Moon is at the end of the zodiac now, symbolizing completion and release, letting go, and the finality of a cycle. Ready for the new? The new Moon is on the rise. We are each preparing for new beginnings with extra release right now. Pay special attention to loss and grief while tending to sadness that is emerging. The emotional body has much to share with us during this cycle. Just before Friday arrives, Moon jumps into Aries and Ashwini nakshatra. New beginnings, arrivals and openings enter. What are you inviting in? What needs to be tended to and released still for greater wholeness? The Ashwini-Kumara twins, ruling deities of this constellation, help us restore and revitalize with healing remedies, the arts, creative powers and rejuvenation. Tend to your physical body today and help it release and restore. As evening approaches, Moon moves to Bharani nakshatra. The transformative powers of Bharani nakshatra and its deity Yama, provide insights into our release and letting go process on Saturday. This is a fierce yet sensitive nakshatra, one that can ride the edge of hard and soft. Use your strength to make clear, executive decisions today that nurture your highest good. Notice where you are resisting and not allowing for greater nourishment to enter. As Moon moves through Aries, we may feel the increased pressure and frustration around support and nourishment. Trust and surrender, but tend to the emotions emerging. Early evening Moon shifts to Krittika at the edge of Aries, with an invitation for more clarity. Just as Sunday begins, the Moon shifts into its exaltation sign, Taurus, joining Sun, Mercury and Mars here. All receive gaze from Rahu and Saturn which undermines and intensifies our need for comfort and nourishment right now. Sunday requests that we purify and release with the help of Krittika nakshatra, which will continue to prepare us for the new Moon on Tuesday. Ruling deity, Agni, offers the added benefit of deeper insight and clarity right now. Purify, transform and let alchemy work its magic on your change process. Support the change process by intentionally attending to your own fire of life, your digestive fire. Sun and Mars are sandhi at the edge of Taurus. Monday arrives with Moon in its mulitrikona sign as Mars and Sun jump to Gemini. The emotional body is hot and focused on expansion. Where are you feeling suppressed? What needs do you have for expansion? Move towards the nourishment. *Time zone used for calculations is in Pacific Daylight Time unless otherwise noted. Need some extra guidance and clarity? This Week's Intention: Turn your attention inward and find the gems you seek within. Monday begins with a ripe Moon perched at the edge of Libra and shifts into its debilitation sign, Scorpio, just after midnight. Moon transits Vishaka nakshatra, the two branches, symbolizing a gateway of triumph. This dual ruled nakshatra contains the wisdom of Indra and Agni, who offers success through collaboration and co-creation. Two heads are better than one. Use this metaphor to find greater support today. As Moon shifts into Anuradha nakshatra late morning, this theme continues to emerge with the "friendly star." Ruling deity, Mitra, can bring us connections and support through friendships and alliances. We may also feel challenges from the same as Moon conjuncts contractive Saturn as well. Sensitivity abounds! And though the Moon is almost full, it's actually a very tender, inward Moon which invokes self care and attention to vulnerability. Tuesday ushers in a full Moon at 09:18 PDT while Moon is in Scorpio and Jyestha Nakshatra. Jyestha nakshatra is ruled by Indra, the king of the gods. He is responsible for releasing the water from the clouds, allowing it to rain, often using his weapon of choice, the thunderbolt. Indra rules our senses and reminds us to use discernment with them, rather than being ruled by all of our urges and desires. Much like the clouds, our tears are released and are a cleansing offering of Indra as well. Scorpio is the Moon's debilitation sign and because Moon will also be conjunct retrograde Saturn at the time of the full Moon, themes for the coming cycle invite certain pressures- which can intensify the emotional body effects we experience. This combination however will provide deep release, like a valve that needs to be opened, inviting in a sense of letting go and waves of grief to surface. As the Moon begins to wane on Tuesday, our reflection continues to turn inward and reminders, imagery and ideas from the past resurface. What pieces need to be responded to? Which ones need to be released? Do you want more astrological details about the new Moon and the coming cycle? Use my 2015 Moon Wisdom Calendar to learn more about the cosmic themes. Learn More. Moon jumps to Sagittarius and Mula nakshatra early Wednesday morning, inviting in Nirriti's chaos and calamity. She helps us become unbounded, to release where we are holding on too tightly. Expect the unexpected with the dark goddess emerging today. Sudden, unexpected shifts arrive. Where are we holding on when we should be letting go? What space can we create with a deeper release? Today is well suited to gentle cleansing, releasing and rejuvenation practices. Rest, restore and relax but don't push or force actions and outcomes. Thursday morning Moon shifts into PurvAshada nakshatra, inviting Apas to rule over the day. As the water goddess, she provides purification, as well as deep feelings and continuous movement. Mars gives his drishti to the Moon today, offering both fierce anger and passion, while simultaneously giving us an opportunity for deeper connection to MA if we listen carefully. There is a certain sensitivity today and deep feelings are available to us. How do these feelings move you and stir you to respond? Thursday is the last chance to join my Jyotish Basics Classes for June! The focus of the month is Money and Wealth. Ready to increase your financial stability and change your relationship with money? Join me for classes. Moon dips into the latter half of the Ashada constellation, UttarAshada, Friday morning and the Vishva Devas are enlivened. The symbol of this nakshatra is an elephant tusk which denotes a certain connection to Ganesha, the remover of obstacles. This is a softer, gentler star than PurvAshada, and its aim is for support and assistance. Where can you allow more support into your life? How does it show up? As Moon shifts into Capricorn midday, he moves to Saturn's sign and receives his drishti as well. Rahu, Jupiter and Venus also give their gaze, providing increases, changes, expansion and contraction. Can you go with the flow? Early Saturday morning, Moon moves into Sravana, Vishnu's territory. Vishnu is intimately connected to hearing and the transmission of information, especially the sacred variety. Like akasha, space, he is everywhere. What are you expanding towards today? The wisdom you seek is seeking you. Soak it up. As Sunday begins, Moon moves to Dhanishta nakshatra and the Vasu Devas are enlivened. These Devatas help us find the rhythm of life, our own beat. The symbol here is a drum, which physically connects us to the pulse, the heartbeat within us as well as the pulse of life. What beat are you hearing and connecting to? How are you connecting to the pulse of life today? Moon shifts to Aquarius late afternoon, a Saturn ruled sign, but out of the gaze of the other planets. Let yourself dance to your own rhythm, your own beat. Monday begins with Moon shifting into Satabisha nakshatra, Varuna's domain. His symbol is an empty circle and he is connected to restraint. Varuna brings strong resistance at times but may be helpful with creating healthy boundaries. Are you resisting or avoiding? Are you conscious of this or pushing vital nourishment away? *Time zone used for calculations is in Pacific Daylight Time unless otherwise noted.

Please share it with a friend! Thank you. Moon is waxing and the week starts off with Moon entering the beginning of the zodiac, Aries. Fresh beginnings and new starts are here! Mercury is retrograde, as is Jupiter, which makes for a sensation of expanding in reverse. Use this time for clean up and organization. *** As of this week, I'll be shifting my posts to reflect my current time zone- Pacific Standard. Please note the changes and updated time difference in regard to your own location. *** Monday, January 26th Today's Intention: Re-new and become new by re-imagining the old. Just minutes after midnight, Moon hops into Aries and Ashwini nakshatra, inviting in the Ashvini Kumara twins. They offer us healing, rejuvenation- and increased creativity as a result. Take action steps today that offer healing and restoration to you. With Moon out of the gaze of other planets, we may feel an increased awakening, room for possibility and greater expansion. The expansion is possible through re-tracing your steps, going over old territory, inviting in the old, but restructuring it to make it new. Moon moves to Bharani nakshatra at 21:39 PST. Tuesday, January 27th Today's Intention: Plot, hunt and focus on your goals with tenacity. Moon transits Bharani nakshatra, Yama and Venus's domain. As the king of dharma, Yama determines whether our efforts are worthy of our time in this life, or whether we missed the mark. His ability to restrain us from overindulgence can keep us from misery. There is a certain one-pointedness available to us today, as well as a warrior spirit. Make sure your energy and efforts align with your long term goals and desires- the ones that have depth and purpose for your life. The auspicious ninth tithi or Moon phase, Navami, is enlivened today. It is connected to the Sun and the deity Naga, which can help us awaken some depth and awareness. Venus moves to Satabisha nakshatra at 20:51 PST, enlivening Varuna, the deity who rules over judgement and deep vision. Varuna handles Natural Law and enforces them by handing us our karmas, our actions and re-actions. It is very important to pay close attention to subtleties at this time, to deeply listen, in order to awaken to the truths of Nature. This awareness can help us re-establish a sense of order in our lives. Not out of fear or punishment, sacrifice or pain, but because we naturally align with Nature and her laws of wisdom and truth. As Venus transit through Satabisha, our inner creative waters can find more grace, fluidity and intensity simultaneously. Use this time to make an impact on your life. Take strong action and do what you know is best for yourself and others. Study the transits, learn the wisdom of jyotish, gather insights for your healing and transformation in my new class series: Jyotish Basics for Transformation and Healing. First class is this Sunday and registration ends Friday. Sign Up. Moon moves to Krittika, near the edge of Aries, at 21:36 PST. Wednesday, January 28th Today's Intention: Wield your sword with confidence. Moon transits Krittika nakshatra and jumps into Taurus at 03:41 am PST, becoming exalted for a few hours- until late morning. Agni is the ruler of this constellation and offers us a sharp transformation through purification processes. The emotional body fullness will be felt strongly so prepare for emotional diligence today. With Saturn giving direct gaze to the Moon from Scorpio, we can expect an underlying depression or fear to settle in. Mars and Rahu also give their gaze to the Moon, offering a strong edge with a dose of shadow. The mental body plays a role in the experience of the emotions today because of Mercury's conjunction with the Sun (Krittika's ruling planet); this increases our mental sharpness. We can direct this focus into meaningful tasks, or let it take us down the rabbit hole. Don't get caught up in "shoulda, coulda, woulda" today. Be diligent with your 3 level check-in so that you can easily navigate your inner dialogue. Need a reminder about the three levels? Moon shifts to Rohini at 22:06 PST. Thursday, January 29th Today's Intention: Make a greater creative impact today. Moon is considered in its mulitrikona sign as it transits through the remainder of Taurus. This is a place that the Moon can more fully express its creativity, sensuality, charisma and playfulness. Mulitrikona placement offers a planet the ability to express their energy at 75%. As Moon transits through Rohini, creative themes are exemplified. Rohini is ruled by lord Brahma, the ultimate God expression of creativity. By now, we have been feeling the refinement process of Moon receiving gaze from Saturn, Rahu and Mars. Today, we have a more porous experience, and less rigidity than yesterday. Let the wisdom seep into your pores. How is the struggle softening you, awakening you, opening you to possibility? Use this to spark your creative energy and focus your expansion efforts. Expand your creative channels and let the life pulse through you. Moon shifts into Mrigashirsha nakshatra at 23:06 PST. Friday, January 30th Today's Intention: Extend your branches into new realms. Mars moves to Purvabhadrapada today, enlivening Ajaikapada, the domain of Shiva, lord of the dance. It will be our tenacity, our warrior spirit and our action steps, that will help us accomplish seemingly impossible feats in the coming weeks. Ajaikapada stands with one foot firmly grounded, rooted in the earth, while the other foot is lifted, poised and ready to take a step. This represents continual movement, growth and change, as well as balancing the impossible. Symbolically, one foot is firmly grounded in the now, while the other is lifted into the unknown. Use very conscious action steps in the coming two weeks. Be diligent, conscious, strategic and poised for action. Moon transits through the latter half of Taurus and is in Mrigashirsha nakshatra today. The deity of this nakshatra is Soma, while the symbol is a deer head with large, reaching antlers. The ruling planet of Mrigashirsha is Mars, while the deity, Soma is connected to the Moon. The combination of elements and symbols here expresses much movement, change and growth as a result of the constant movement. Like antlers that continue to spread out and expand, then drop off, only to re-grow, we can connect with these cycles of renewal for our own life expansion. This is literally how we are fed and nourished by life. Last day to register for my new class offering, Jyotish Basics for Transformation and Healing!! Register here. Moon moves to Gemini at 11:45 am PST. Saturday, January 31st Today's Intention: Channel the power of your inner volcano and move mountains. Moon shifts into Ardra nakshatra just after midnight at 00:31 am PST, inviting in Rudra's powerful and tenacious strength and grande emotional waves. He moves things with his strength and ferocity which often stirs our anger and rage. Anger is connected to our power source within and must be treated as a flashing red light of awakening. What slumber do you need to awaken from? What is holding you back? What part of you is holding you back from experiencing your fullness? Now is the time to clear and clean up the mental body. The old stories and illusions that are keeping you from realizing your full potential. Track your mental body diligently today and see where it is causing eruptions. Sunday, February 1st Today's Intention: Expand what you think is possible. Moon moves to Punarvasu nakshatra at 02:21 am PST, and Aditi is ushered in. To smooth out the ruffles of yesterday, Aditi arrives to create expansion and awareness from the rubble within. She knits us back together with her wholeness, her unity consciousness. From this wholeness we get our needs met, we get the nourishment we need and our needs are taken care of. Jyotish Basics for Transformation and Healing begins today at 3pm PST. Did you register? Moon moves to Cancer at 21:56 PST. Monday, February 2nd Moon transits through its own sign, Cancer, with retrograde Jupiter here as well. Both receive drishti from conjunct Sun and Mercury. Nourishment deepens as we reflect on our deepest needs and desires. What serves us and what is not serving us? What can we clean up within our heart in order to clean up our life and properly expand? My Jyotish Basics Classes begin this Sunday, February 1st! Don't miss out on these transformational and healing classes. Get the details.

Please share it with a friend! Thank you. The week begins with a waning Moon, and a sandhi Sun, just leaving Sagittarius. Mercury and Venus are in close conjunction in Capricorn, enticing us with immense creativity and increased creative flow. While Jupiter, Rahu and Saturn offer their drishti to these planets, intensifying our efforts of expansion, containment and focus. Monday, January 12th Today's intention: The light increases with your conscious, constructive efforts. Moon transits Virgo and Hasta nakshatra, letting in the light of Savitr as the week begins. Once Moon shifts into Chitra nakshatra at 16:55 CST, Vishvakarma enters with his agenda, plans and creative aspirations. Moon and Rahu in Virgo receive drishti from Mars, intensifying action steps. Moon is in close conjunction with Rahu today which brings a shadow effect to our emotional body. Increased desire, worldly pleasures and increased appetite for life is likely. These are worthy desires, just make sure the cravings are balanced. Mercury and Venus are in exact conjunct in Capricorn receiving drishti from Jupiter, Saturn, and Rahu which is increasing our creativity and desires for creating and expanding our life container. Sandhi Sun moves to the edge of Sagittarius today and will join Mercury and Venus early on Wednesday. Use today for connecting and creating, expanding and getting focused, for moving towards what you really want and need in your life. Tuesday, December 13th Today's Intention: Build your empire, brick by brick. Moon shifts into Libra at 06:06 am CST, while transiting Chitra nakshatra- ruled by Mars and Vishvakarma, the celestial architect. This dynamic duo assists us in action, planning, setting goals and enlivening our intentions. With effective action steps and the passion that is required to keep us motivated and inspired, we can create anything! Mars shifts out of Dhanishta and into Satabisha nakshatra until the end of the month, provoking a shift in our action steps and intentions. Ruled over by Varuna, this lunar mansion is oriented towards seeing, discovering, and awakening to our own truth. Varuna sees everything and is said to have a thousand eyes, therefor he can intensify the critic and judge within us. He is an Aditya (giving resources and offering support), yet he does it through structure and abiding by the Laws of Nature. It is very important to attend to health needs during Satabisha times as any disease that starts under this nakshatra is said to be incurable. Attend to what nourishes you, supports your vitality and there won't be any issues. But for now it is vital to be maintaining balance on the four levels of life- mental, emotional, physical and spiritual. Stay out of the overwhelm and step into harmony by syncing up with the Laws of Nature. Sun is at the edge of Sagittarius in deep sandhi. Extra care for the spiritual body is necessary right now. Use this time to tap into your deepest longings. To listen deeply to your inner wisdom. Re-visit your needs, your life purpose, the direction of your path. Moon moves into Swati nakshatra at 19:08 CST. Wednesday, January 14th Today's Intention: The winds of change are blowing. Remember to direct your sails. Moon transits Swati nakshatra today, creating a swiftness, a certain sense of movement and change. Vayu, the wind god, insures that change, movement and strength are enlivened. Wind has many purposes and can offer multiple resources to us; it can also scatter us, destroy us or force us to make change in direction. Vayu is a Rudra, meaning he has immense strength and power. Be intentional today with how you use the power and strength within you, how you direct your inner winds. Sun shifts into Capricorn at 07:35 am CST, joining Mercury and Venus here. These three planets all receive drishti from Saturn, Rahu and Jupiter. Let the illumination in and let it influence your creativity, your communications, your orientation towards expansion and awakening. There's a new structure being created for each of us right now, if we consciously and intentionally move forward. This is a time for expanding our life container. We do this with creativity, our creation process, that which is our birth right. Each one of us is here on the planet to create the life of our dreams, to manifest, to expand and grow what is possible for ourselves. Maximize this potential with intention, goals, clear action steps, and guidance and support. This is the winning combination. Be sure to check out my Essentials for Manifestation MP3 for assistance and support. Moon shifts into Vishaka at 20:38 CST. Thursday, January 15th Today's Intention: Stop, collaborate and listen. Moon transits Vishaka nakshatra, nearing the edge of Libra. Vishaka is ruled by the dual gods, Indra and Agni, which expresses the co-creation process; a "two is better than one" reality. Indra is the high king, where as Agni is the high priest. This collaboration is an essential relationship for ultimate progress. Both rely on each other, thus the relationship is symbiotic. Together, they can create ultimate transformation and change. What changes are you creating today? Get help and team up! Moon moves to Scorpio at 15:12 CST and then moves to Anuradha nakshatra at 21:17 CST. As Moon enters Scorpio, it joins Saturn here as well; both receive drishti from Jupiter and Ketu. Be mindful of the pause and remember your three level check-in in order to intentionally listen to your internal experiences. This is a time to dive deeply. Friday, January 16th Today's Intention: Thank your lucky stars, your friends, supporters and well wishers. Moon transits Anuradha nakshatra at 21:17 CST, a heightened sense of support from friends and allies is increased. Mitra, the ruling deity here, is the ruler of friendships as well as fine detail and precision. He also connects us to man made laws (not Nature's laws which are Varuna's domain). Man made laws insinuate a matter a fact experience of life. What you see is what you get. Treat others as you would like to be treated. Every action has a reaction. The planetary ruler, Saturn, suggests structure, timeliness, and the wisdom that comes with age as a means to help us learn the lessons of Mitra. He is an Aditya and therefor offers blessings and resources, but does so with restrictions and steadiness of our actions. The "friendly star" earns its title by bringing a certain softness and compassion when life can feel harsh. With Saturn's conjunction with the Moon and Jupiter and Ketu offering their gaze to this pair, we may feel a certain emotional body intensity. Depression, expansion and release are possible sensations. Pushing too hard and forcing your agenda must be surrendered today. You'll get a lot more done without the extra pressure! At 21:04 Moon shifts into Jyestha nakshatra, Indra's domain. Saturday, January 17th Today's Intention: Where there's a will, there's a way. Use your strong mind to get you there. Moon transits Jyestha nakshatra and thus Indra and Mercury share their power with us. Indra is the king of the devas (gods) and offers intense strength, while also expressing the sensitivity such strength requires. Indra rules the sensory organs, and a strong alliance with Indra invites us to have control over our senses. Controlling the senses can keep us from over-indulgence and getting pulled off our path. Yet too much control leads us to imbalance and another extreme. Individualized balance is the ultimate freedom. Protect, honor and support your senses by listening, taking time to honor your physical body intelligence. With Rahu, Saturn and Jupiter giving drishti to Mercury right now (who is also conjunct Sun and Venus) we need to temper cravings that originate in the mental body. Yet simultaneously, use this time to broaden and deepen your imagination, expand your container, and get clear and focused. Just don't get lost in the point or the infinity. Use the expansion and the contraction as a resource for creating a new sense of balance. Venus shifts into Dhanishta nakshatra today at 06:21 am CST, inviting in the prosperity and light of the Vasu devas. The combination of Venus and the Vasu's is sure to bring passion, creativity and many new possibilities in the coming weeks. Resource from your relationships, build creative alliances, take action steps that invite in your power, light and higher purpose. Aim high! Reach towards what you want and move away from what does not serve you, nourish you or create space for your light. Moon jumps into Sagittarius and Mula nakshatra at 20:03 CST, inviting in Nirrti, the dark goddess of disruption. Sunday, January 18th Today's Intention: Let the doors close behind you. Moon transits Mula nakshatra today, inviting in Nirrti's dark goddess ways. She disrupts, changes, re-structures and removes. She does so by uprooting us and digging up what we are ready to release, transform and shift. Often this is not a comfortable experience, but can be somewhat magical! Ask for the support and assistance you need for this removal process. Moon is in the 14th tithi today and deeply in the waning process. Allow the emptiness to be conscious for you and work intentionally with the letting go process today. As you invite in the release, cultivate presence and awareness of your emptiness. What are you releasing? Moon moves to PurvaAshada nakshatra at 18:20 CST, inviting in Apas, the water goddess. Monday, January 19th Today's Intention: Purify, cleanse and restore. As Moon continues to transit Sagittarius and PurvaAshada nakshatra, there is a deepening of release happening. Let the release come through purifying and cleansing practices, through ritual and sacred acts. Use water and the emotional body tides to inspiration the purification process. Be gentle and nourishing to yourself and others today. Do so by listening deeply to your emotional body wisdom. Moon enters the 15th tithi today, the final phase of the waning cycle. New Moon is on Wednesday the 20th at 07:14 am CST while in Capricorn and UttarAshada. This is a very powerful new Moon! More details to come.
