Moon Mind :::
Tuesday 9.17 Moon transiting Aquarius in Satabisha. What are you not seeing? There is shadowed perception happening and a thousand eyes upon you casting their gaze. Find the medicine in the Natural order of things, in balance and right action. See what has not been seen before. Do what has not been done before. Act as never before.

Moon Mind :::
Tuesday, 8.20 Moon spends the majority of the day in Capricorn in Dhanishta nakshatra but moves to Aquarius at 13:58 CDT. Dhanishta is ruled by Vasudeva and the planet Mars, while Moon will be transiting the 15th tithi, ruled by Saturn. Tuesday is the day of Mars. We get an energetic mix that requires care, sensitivity and patience. Watch for excessive emotion- especially anger. Be careful with cars and while driving. Be mindful of women and your relationships with them. Take time for self care. Full Moon is in Aquarius on 8.20 at 20:44 CDT and will be in Dhanishta nakshatra. Use this time to shine and be seen, but don't be surprised if it is on an introverted level. Emotions can run amok so guard your sensitivity and need for sacred space if necessary. This is a day for Vasudeva's mantra: Aum Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya Moon Mindfulness ::: Mind Your Moon
6.1/6.2 Moon is in Aquarius until later today when it moves into Pisces. Moon transits Purvabhadrapada unitll 20:40 CDT today when it then moves to Uttarabhadrapada. Purvabhadrapada is ruled by Ajaikapada. Aja means goat and he brings knowledge, he is also a Rudra (storm, movement, breath, wind). Ajaikapada the "he goat standing on one leg" is a reference to Lord Shiva- Nataraja- Lord of the dance, and speaks to "having a foot in two worlds" as well as "balancing opposites." Uttarabhadrapada is ruled by Ahirbudhnya, "the serpent of the deep" and the hidden serpent energy within us- such as kundalini. There is an ability to penetrate the depths of knowledge, the unseen realms as well as knowledge of the unconscious awareness. Ahirbudhnya is also a Rudra who removes misfortune and calamities and can bring nourishment. Both nakshatras are sons of Vishvakarma- the celestial architect. The symbol for the bhadrapada's are a burning funeral cot- endings. These nakshatras sit opposite in the sky from the phalguni's (creation/fertility nakshatras) and express the "other realms", the purification and death necessary to understand beyond this material plane of existence. Mercury (in its own sign of Gemini with Venus and Jupiter now) has moved to Ardra nakshatra, ruled by Rudra, the storm god who brings movement, change and destruction. Rudra is ruled by Rahu and Mercury is getting drishti from Rahu in Libra (sitting with a debilitated Saturn). This can go several ways: a clouded, vulnerable, depressed mind requiring shadow work with the mental body/mental realms, and/or movement, change, worldly achievement through commerce, communication, mental abilities. Either way, this requires careful navigation and a certain surrender as Rudra energy is unpredictable. Mercury and Gemini take center stage as Jupiter is now transiting Gemini for the next 12 months. 5.30 Moon in Aquarius transiting Dhanishta nakshatra until 20:43 CDT tonight. Moon is in the dark half (waning) in the 7th tithi which is ruled by Saturn. Aquarius is also ruled by Saturn and the Moon is receiving drishti from Rahu today from its position in Libra where it sits with Saturn and is also the sign of exalted Saturn. There is a lot of Saturn coinciding with the moon today. Some of us may feel this as depression, sadness, grief, disappointment, discouragement. It is important on these days to get embodied, physical movement and connection to prana are essential. Dhanishta is ruled by Vasu (and the planet Mars) and its translation is "the most famous" or "the most wealthy". Vas means "to shine" so sometimes this is called the "shining star". People born with Dhanishta nakshatra tend to be extra sparkly and shiny- their light is attractive to others. The eight Vasu-deva are sources of abundant wealth, prosperity and illumination which can be associated with the material plane of existence or the realms of knowledge, insight and inner expansion. The Vasu-deva are connected to dharma and fulfilling desires in the relative world- hence there is a lot of creative potential and ability here. Jyotish is also connected to Dhanishta as it is a source of light (literally jyoti), expansion, dharma and enlightenment. Use today's creative spark of insight for creativity, manifestation and dharma to create awareness and growth. Jupiter moves into Gemini late this evening for one year- signaling a new creative focus for all of us. Initiate the year with your own inner abundance- the light of you. Moon moves through Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and into Pisces. Moon is in the Dark half (waning) this week. Personal energy continues to move inward and the need for silence, rest and restoration increases. This is a "pull back the arrow" kind of week. This is a momentous week for planetary shifts; a lot of changes in energy will be felt as a result- especially on the levels of the mental, creativity, and wisdom. Mercury enters Gemini (its own sign) on 5.27 at 13:57 CDT. This transit is good for matters of the mind, communication and creativity. Venus moves to Gemini in the wee hours of the morning on 5.29 at 00:06 CDT. Mental creativity is sparked. Jupiter moves to Gemini on 5.30 at 18:34 CDT. This year long transit marks a huge shift in creative potential and growth. (Please see my article for further details). Mercury, Venus and Jupiter are all transiting Mrigashirsha nakshatra at this time- until Mercury moves to Ardra later in the week and Venus follows next week. For now, the focus is on nourishment and extreme creative potential. Maximize this. In lieu of horoscopes this week, look to my Jupiter article for personal insights for the upcoming year. Likely you are already feeling these changes, which are being activated by the planetary shifts happening this week with Mercury and Venus as well. Wondering how this upcoming Jupiter transit may effect you? Is it time for some Jyotish insights? Book your consult with me now for greater clarity on the big changes that are coming with Jupiter. I still have a few openings in the next few weeks for sessions before I leave for my summer travels to Europe. I will not be available for consults from June 19th- August 10th. swatijrjyotish@gmail.com |
